With any luck it will be that way.

I would like to just sign ROH to some sort of contract and have a Ring of Honor set, as long as they allow Tom and the Legends crew to do what they like outside of ROH, I think it would be feasible.

I remember a couple years back I suggested to Tom about contacting TNA...doing some kind of promotion with them. In return for the wrestler likeness, they could have some free advertisement on the COTG website for their PPVs. Tom liked the idea, said he knew some in TNA management. I know the logistics of doing that with TNA would probably be difficult But I like the idea with ROH. It could be a real win=-win situation for both parties. I've seen my friend's DVDs, but if I was to get a steady flow of guys from ROH, I'd definitely be more inclined to pick up my own DVDs.

Are all the wrestlers going to be on jobber level? I'm sure none will be at the level of Race or Gotch, but if at least a few are on the ECW level (and hopefully not many with the double -1 counters), they might have some decent matches.
Take care,
Jay

Years ago I proposed the idea of doing a Smoky Mountain Wrestling set to Brian Hildebrand. He was in charge of the gimmicks and marketing for SMW.
He seemed to really like the game, but thought that even the basic rules might be a little too complex for a majority of their fan base. After spending a week down there for three straight years, I had to agree. Still, that would have been a cool set (except for Prince Kharis, the 2,000 year old mummy).

An SMW set would have been fantastic.

Tim, can we still get a Mark Curtis ref card? I think you were at this show, but I still remember the huge USWA-Smokey Mountain show at Louisville Gardens when the SMW contingent came to the show. One of my all time favorite shows My friend and myself went out after the show and went into a Thornton's, with a Subway inside, and there were Mark Curtis and, a little known, D-Lo Brown We told him we just went to the show (I was a regular at the Gardens) and told Mark how much he loved his heel work...he was just great that night. He told us he was shocked anyone recognized him and was extremely gracious with his time. BTW, where did the name Mark Curtis come from anyways?

I don't think a Mark Curtis card would be a problem. I'd just have to check with his widow Pam, who I still stay in contact with. Tom also has former WWF ref Dick Woehrle signed.
Yes, I was at the show where I was almost killed by angry Louisville fans after Tommy Rich's insane blade job. Our group was threatened inside the arena, outside the arena, and needed a police escort to the highway.
I was actually in the Subway with Brian and D-Lo as well. It's a good thing you were cheering for some SMW wrestlers, because when you first approached, D-Lo thought you might be USWA fans looking for a fight.
Curtis is Brian's middle name, and he'd be the first to admit that he's a mark for the business. That's where the name came from.
