I already posted this on The Greatest Board in The Galaxy that I help moderate, but since I just realized nothing apparently has been mentioned about this yet over on this board, I decided to copy and paste what I wrote so I could also post this message here.

So, if you don't want some LOW spoilers that I just read about in The Promoter, don't scroll down.


















I just noticed that I got my copy of The Promoter today and in the Legends area it talks about Legends of the Future which will have 12 cards and get released in May. These 8 names were announced as some of the 12 cards in this upcoming set:

Claudio Castagnoli
Chris Hero
Ricky Landell
Adam Pearce
Mike Quackenbush
Larry Sweeney
The Heartbreak Express (Superstar Sean Davis and Fabulous Phil Davis)

Some of these names were already revealed in the last issue of the ICP magazine but I don't think Castagnoli and Landell were previously revealed.

The Promoter also says that Mark Holter, the publisher for the ICP magazine, is writing the bios for the Legends of the Future handbook and, as many of us already knew, Jon Knapik is writing the stats for the cards.

In addition, the Promoter says that official updated Special Edition cards of Sam Hayne and Eddie Fyne (who is billed from Las Vegas) will also be released at the same time as Legends of the Future.

I'm looking forward to getting official LOW cards for both Hayne and Fyne and I am also looking forward to getting this set![/quote]

Awesome. Landell was already announced. The only new name was Castagnoli. I am also way pumped about getting official versions of Sam Hayne & Eddie Fyne. I would assume that the Backseat Boyz will be included and maybe SoCal Val. This set is going to be huge for any indy fans. Knapik, all eyes are on you...

I would buy it just for Larry Sweeney. For some reason, I'm a huge Larry Sweeney mark. The guy has talent.

Claudio and Hero are amazing, now if I could just get Jack Evans and Ruckus and for comedy relief the Human Tornado. Heck, let's just release a Ring of Honor set :-)

Yep, I realized this when doing some research. One cool thing for me is finding more about all these guys, and there are some great talents I never knew much about. I think that Indy fans will have a ball with this set. Lets get the word out so we can do more of these.

Yep, I realized this when doing some research. One cool thing for me is finding more about all these guys, and there are some great talents I never knew much about. I think that Indy fans will have a ball with this set. Lets get the word out so we can do more of these.

I would love for this to be the start of a long line of indy legends sets. How cool would it be to have 1 Legends set and 1 Indy set per year? I will answer that question for you...Very Cool.
