Card #793 (TV); Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN
"Seek and Destroy" plays to open the show, and Cibernetico makes his way out to a mixed response. Ciber gets on the mic and says that five years ago, he was preparing for his second LuchaMania main event in this very city against Dr. Wagner Jr. Ciber says that it was the toughest match of his career, and that he will never forget it. Ciber says he came back because he wants a title shot against Chessman at LuchaMania XIV. He says he doesn't care if Paco makes it a triple threat, he just wants in.
Silver King interjects, saying that Ciber has done nothing, and deserves nothing. Silver says that Ciber is stealing time from the talent that deserve it, and that he needs to leave the ring. Ciber challenges Silver King to see who faces Chessman at LuchaMania, and the match is made for the next episode of TV.
1.) Tyler Black ©, Sara Del Rey, Polvo de Estrellas, Mini Abismo Negro b. Elegido ©. Mickie James, Pimpinela Escarlata, Octagoncito - Unica Caida: Del Rey pinned Elegido with a cradle after unmasking him.
Backstage, Mesias is preparing for his match later tonight when he's approached by Abismo Negro. Abismo apparently doesn't know Mesias has a match tonight, and seems distraught when Mesias says he can't work twice in one night. Abismo says he'll find someone else to help him fight Team Japan.
2.) Zorro & Ozz b. Mistico & Rey Misterio Jr., Negro Casas & Heavy Metal - Primera Eliminacion: Mistico submitted Heavy Metal with LA MISTICA. - Segunda Eliminacion: Zorro pinned Mistico with a SUPERKICK after Negro Casas ripped part of his mask.
After the match, Misterio takes out Casas and Heavy Metal with a dive. Misterio begins stomping on Negro Casas until Felino runs in and attacks Rey with a chair. Heavy Metal goes in the ring and beats down Mistico. This continues until Atlantis and La Sombra run in and run off the rudos.
3.) Murder Clown ©, Monster Clown, Psycho Clown DQ Halloween ©, Damian 666, Hijo de Lizmark [NATIONAL TRIOS] - Unica Caida: Halloween fouled Monster (low blow), forcing the DQ.
Mexico's Most Wanted sets up some sort of team move through a table, but the Road Warriors come in and start beating them up. This ends with Halloween taking a Doomsday Device through a table. The crowd really aren't into the Road Warriors, they seem so out of place here.
4.) Silver King ©, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Billy Boy b. Chessman ©, Ultimo Guerrero, Aerostar - A really good match, probably the best on the show. - Unica Caida: Tanahashi pinned Aerostar with an Enzugiri, Silver pinned Guerrero with a SILVER KICK.
Silver King handed Chessman the belt after the match, and then hit him with a SILVER KICK. This brings out Cibernetico, who clears the ring and helps Chessman up. Ciber gets on the mic and promises to beat Silver King next week so that the fans can see a LuchaMania 12 rematch. Wait..aren't we already seeing one in Mesias/Wagner?
5.) El Mesias ©, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson NC Dr. Wagner Jr. ©, Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane - Unica Caida: The match was thrown out due to excessive violence.
Before the main event, the announcers run down the LuchaMania card:
- In the main event, Dr. Wagner Jr. and El Mesias will meet for the final time in a Last Man Standing Match. - The hometown boy Rey Misterio Jr. teams with Mistico to take on Negro Casas and his brother Heavy Metal in a masks vs. hairs match. - Chessman will defend the Mega Heavyweight Championship against Silver King. - Seven Luchadors will face off against Seven Japanese Superstars in the first ever Gauntlet Challenge match. - Mexico's Most Wanted of Halloween, Damian, and Lizmark Jr. will defend the Trios Titles against The Legion of Doom of Hawk, Animal, and Paul Ellering. - Aerostar will defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Sabu, Nicho "el milonario", Super Fly, and Chris Candido! - Elegido and Mickie James will take on Tyler Black and Sara Del Rey - Just announced: The Psycho Circus will defend the Trios Championships against the teams of Ultimo Dragon, "Corazon de Leon" Chris Jericho, and Koji Kanemoto and The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, and Brodie Lee. - Octagoncito defends the World Minis Championship against Mini Abismo Negro, Mascarita Sagrada, and Mini Charly Manson! - The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson will defend both the LWF Tag Team and International Campeonatos de Parejas against The Midnight Express of Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane! - Trish Stratus defends Reina de Reinas against Daffney and Daizee Haze! - Just announced: Ozz and Zorro will face Atlantis and La Sombra!
After Abismo's entrance, he grabbed a mic and said that he has found a legend of Lucha Libre to team with him at LuchaMania to combat the Japanese. "Rock is Dead" by Marilyn Manson hit and Charly Manson runs in and the main event begins.
6.) Abismo Negro & Charly Manson b. Jushin Liger & CIMA - Unica Caida: Charly pinned CIMA with a springboard leg drop.
In the parking lot, we see Elegido and Mickie James leaving together. A little girl approaches the two of them and asks for an autograph. The girl's mother, holding the camera, tells everyone to wave. Just then, a black SUV pulls up and three or four people jump out and start beating up James and Elegido. They jump back in the car and speed away. The little girl is freaking out and the tecnicos are laying pretty much out to end the show.
Card #800, "LuchaMania XIV: Showcase of the Immortals" (PPV); Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, CA 1.) Ozz & Zorro vs. Atlantis & La Sombra 2.) Trish Stratus vs. Daffney vs. Daizee Haze [reina de reinas] 3.) Octagoncito vs. Mini Abismo Negro vs. Mascarita Sagrada vs. Mini Charly Manson [WORLD MINIS] 4.) Elegido & Mickie James vs. Tyler Black & Sara Del Rey 5.) Halloween ©, Damian 666, El Hijo de Lizmark vs. Animal ©, Hawk, Paul Ellering 6.) Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Dragon Kid, Shingo Takagi, KENTA, Naomichi Marufuji, Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Abismo Negro ©, Charly Manson, Mr. Niebla, Psicosis II, Ultimo Guerrero, Felino, Hector Garza [gauntlet] 7.) Card #795 (TV); Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA
1.) Octagoncito ©, Mascarita Sagrada, Mini Charly Manson, Ultimo Dragoncito vs. Mini Abismo Negro ©, Mini Histeria, Mini Chessman, Mini Psicosis 2.) Trish Stratus & Mickie James vs. Daffney & Sara Del Rey 3.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson vs. Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane [lightning] 4.) El Mesias ©, Aerostar, Rey Misterio Jr, Mistico vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. ©, Billy Boy, Heavy Metal, Negro Casas 5.) Cibernetico vs. Silver King [#1 contenders, MEGA HEAVY]
This is the second-to-last TV taping before LuchaMania, and it seems like they're dead-set on just building to the same matches instead of spreading the build across the entire card.
Minis atomicos match has potential to be great, if only their LuchaMania match was an eight man match instead of a four way. Octagoncito will probably be on the winning end of things here.
Womens segunda doesn't much matter outside of the build to the Elegido/Mickie vs. Black/Del Rey match. Probably a non finish here.
Lightning match will be another good match from the Bucks and the Midnights. They're advertised for several LWF shows after LuchaMania XIV in this exact kind of match, which should be interesting.
Mesias' team has to win here. They got beat bad on the last episode of TV, and they need momentum going into the big show. Then again, they're facing Dr. Wagner.
Cibernetico vs. Silver King have always had good matches, or at least as good as they could. Will probably end in a draw, but if someone loses, I think that the loser will replace someone for Team Mexico at LuchaMania.

Card #795 (TV); Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA
1.) Octagoncito ©, Mascarita Sagrada, Mini Charly Manson, Ultimo Dragoncito b. Mini Abismo Negro ©, Mini Histeria, Mini Chessman, Mini Psicosis 2.) Daffney & Sara Del Rey b. Trish Stratus & Mickie James 3.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson DRAW Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane [lightning] 4.) El Mesias ©, Aerostar, Rey Misterio Jr, Mistico DQ Dr. Wagner Jr. ©, Billy Boy, Heavy Metal, Negro Casas 5.) Cibernetico b. Silver King [#1 contenders, MEGA HEAVY]
Octagoncito won the main clean over Mini Abismo with a bullet tope. Match was good, went a few minutes longer than really needed but nobody complained. The mini rudos demanded that Paco add them into the title match, and Paco didn't. Paco DID, however, make the minis title match a hardcore match.
Daffney got Mickie with the LOBOTOMY after Tyler Black hit Mickie with Trish's title while Sara Del Rey had Stratus in a guillotine choke kind of thing. Really weird match, wasn't very good.
The Bucks/Midnights match was the one recently taped in Louisville. They showed it on the big screen at the show, this didn't go over well as the fans expected to see this match LIVE. Also didn't help that the commentary was in English in front of a predominately Spanish speaking audience.
Semifinal went to the tecnicos when Billy, Casas, and Heavy Metal ripped off the masks of Aerostar, Misterio, and Mistico at the same time. A neat visual, I have to say. Mesias beat up the rudos, and sent them packing. The masked guys went to the back with their faces covered in towels.
Chessman was guest commentator for the main event. Before the main, it was announced that the loser of the match gets added to Team Mexico as a replacement for Hector Garza (I win), and the winner faces Chessman for the Mega Heavyweight Championship. Cibernetico won with APOCALIPTICA. Chessman and Cibernetico shake hands after the match, and all of Team Japan runs in to beat them down, as well as Silver King. Team Mexico runs in, leading to a HUGE brawl to end the show.

[Cibernetico] APOCALIPSIS AHORA [El Mesias] LuchaMania.
Following the opening video, a huge pyro display goes off as nearly 80,000 fans come to their feet. Arturo Rivera, Alfonso Morales, and Jesus Zuniga welcome everyone to LuchaMania XIV en Espanol, as the English commentary team of Mike Tenay and Chris Cruise welcome the English speaking audience. They talk about tonight's card being the second biggest LuchaMania card ever, with TWELVE matches, including the masks vs. hairs match, and the match everybody has waited for - Wagner vs. Mesias III: Last Man Standing.
Women bearing the flags of the United States, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, among others circle the ring.
The fans are then introduced to the Second Class of the Lucha Libre Hall of Fame - El Hijo del Santo, Konnan, Charly Manson, and Silver King. Funny how two of the four are competing tonight.
1.) Atlantis & La Sombra b. Ozz & Zorro - Primera Caida: Zorro pinned Sombra with a SUPERKICK. - Segunda Caida: Sombra pinned Ozz with a corkscrew plancha. - Tercera Caida: Atlantis submitted Ozz with LA ATLANTIDA.
Backstage, we're shown the locker room of Tyler Black and Sara Del Rey through surveillance camera footage. You can't hear them, but it's obvious they've got something planned for their match tonight.
When we come back to the arena, we're shown Lucha Libre legend Dos Caras sitting in the front row with his son, Dos Caras Jr. On the other side of ringside is Cien Caras, who gets a huge reaction.
2.) Daizee Haze b. Trish Stratus & Daffney [reina de reinas] - Pimera Eliminacion: Daizee pinned Trish with a Yakuza Kick. - Segunda Caida: Daizee beat Daffney with THE MIND TRIP.
A video plays, advertising the next Lucha Libre International Pay-Per-View offering, Luchas de Apuestas, where the main event matches will be Apuestas (mask vs. mask, mask vs. hair, title vs. mask, etc) matches. REAL smart move there, guys...
3.) Mini Charly Manson b. Octagoncito, Mini Abismo Negro, Mascarita Sagrada [hardcore, WORLD MINIS] - Primera Eliminacion: Mini Abismo eliminated Octagoncito with a MARTINETE ESPECIAL. - Segunda Caida: Mini Charly eliminated Mini Abismo with a Guillotine Leg Drop. - Tercera Caida: Mini Charly pinned Mascarita Sagrada with a rollup.
A video packasge recaps the entire Elegido/Mickie/Del Rey/Black angle, and Mickie is shown walking to the ramp when Elegido catches up with her. The pair kiss, and we're taken back to the ring for the rudos' entrance.
4.) Elegido & Mickie James b. Tyler Black & Sara Del Rey - Primera Caida: Elegido beat Black with a BEARHUG. - Segunda Caida: James pinned Black with the KISS OF DEATH.
Elegido and James celebrate again with a kiss before we're shown replays from the match.
The Road Warriors are shown in a video package highlighting how they've dominated the LWF. Why does that matter here, again?
5.) Animal ©, Hawk, Paul Ellering b. Halloween ©, Damian 666, El Hijo de Lizmark - A total squash match. - Unica Caida: Animal pinned Halloween following a DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
Backstage, Team Mexico cut a promo on Team Japan. Abismo promises to not let the people of San Diego down, and to not let the people of Mexico down by losing to the Japanese disgrace here tonight.
The rules of the Mexico vs. Japan match are explained: - Both teams have designated an order of entrance. - Two men start, when that fall ends, the next person from the losing team's order of entrance comes in. - This continues until one team has lost all its members, making the other team the superior country.
6.) Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Dragon Kid, Shingo Takagi, KENTA, Naomichi Marufuji, Hiroshi Tanahashi b. Abismo Negro ©, Charly Manson, Silver King, Mr. Niebla, Blue Panther, Ultimo Guerrero, Felino [gauntlet] - A good, long match that kept the crowd hot. - Order of Falls: - Jushin Liger beat Abismo Negro. - Jushin Liger beat Mr. Niebla. - Charly Manson beat Jushin Liger. - Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Charly Manson. - Ultimo Guerrero beat Hiroshi Tanahashi. - Ultimo Guerrero beat KENTA. - Ultimo Guerrero beat Naomichi Marufuji. - Shingo Takagi beat Ultimo Guerrero. - Shingo Takagi beat Felino. - Silver King beat Shingo Takagi. - Silver King beat Dragon Kid. - CIMA beat Silver King. - CIMA beat Blue Panther.
As Team Japan celebrates, we're shown an advertisement for the Apuestas PPV. I have no doubt that that PPV will be very bad.
7.) Murder Clown ©, Monster Clown, Psycho Clown b. Ultimo Dragon ©, Corazon de Leon, Koji Kanemoto & Chris Hero ©, Claudio Castagnoli, Brodie Lee [NATIONAL TRIOS] - Primera Eliminacion: Ultimo Dragon pinned Claudio with an ASAI DDT, Corazon de Leon pinned Brodie Lee after a LIONSAULT. - Segunda Caida: Monster Clown pinned Ultimo with a POWERBOMB.
Jim Cornette cuts a promo (pre-taped) on The Young Bucks, saying that they can't hold the Midnight Express' jockstraps, much less beat them fair and square in a wrestling match.
8.) Nicho "el milonario" b. Aerostar, Billy Boy, Sabu, Chris Candido, Super Fly [INTERNATIONAL CRUISER] - Unica Caida: Nicho pinned Super Fly with a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP.
A video recaps the Midnights/Bucks feud, showing a lot of footage from the LWF. The fans don't really seem to care that much about this match since it's mostly an outside feud.
9.) Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane b. Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson [LWF TAG, INTERNATIONAL TAG] - Primera Caida (LWF Tag): Eaton pinned Matt after a VEG-O-MATIC. - Segunda Caida (International Tag): The Bucks pinned Eaton after MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. - Tercera Caida: Eaton pinned Nick after Cornette interfered with the racket.
After the announcement that this is the Mega Heavyweight Championship match, "Seek and Destroy" by Metallica hit as Cibernetico made his way out to a good reaction. Mike Tenay mentions that Cibernetico is 5-3 at LuchaMania, with his last LuchaMania win being two years ago in Toronto in the main event against none other than Chessman. Among his losses are the loss to Tyler Black at LuchaMania IV, the loss to Mesias last year, and at LuchaMania X when he lost the Mega Heavyweight Championship to, again, none other than Chessman.
"Feuer frei!" by Rammstein plays as Chessman enters LuchaMania for the first time ever as the Champion. Chessman is 8-5 at LuchaMania, with his biggest win being the one four years ago in Chicago against Cibernetico and Dr. Wagner Jr. in the main event. The commentators make mention that Chessman has beaten almost everyone that was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, and that he himself is a future Hall of Famer. Chessman got a huge pop.
10.) Chessman b. Cibernetico [MEGA HEAVY] - A very good match. - Highlight of the match was probably Cibernetico hitting APOCALIPTICA through a table for a two count. - Unica Caida: Chessman pinned Cibernetico with a Powerbomb.
Chessman offers a handshake, and Cibernetico looks to the crowd before not only shaking Chessman's hand, but giving his longtime friend and rival a hug as the crowd applauds.
"Rey Misterio Jam" hits as Misterio makes his way out to the stage to the biggest reaction of the night behind El Hijo del Santo. He stops on the stage as the theme of Mistico begins to play. The commentators note that Mistico made his LuchaMania debut at LuchaMania III, much like Negro Casas. Mistico is 2-5 at LuchaMania, his only wins coming from escape matches. Tenay says that Mistico doesn't have to escape anything tonight, only win two elimination falls against La Peste Negra.
The theme of La Peste Negra hits as Negro Casas and Heavy Metal make their way out to incredible heat. Negro Casas, according to Mike Tenay, has only lost one mano-a-mano match at LuchaMania, and that was at LuchaMania VI to Dr. Wagner Jr. Casas' record in apuestas matches isn't the best, losing his hair before to Mistico, as well as Dr. Wagner Jr. in the aforementioned LuchaMania VI showdown.
11.) Mistico & Rey Misterio Jr b. Negro Casas & Heavy Metal [mask, hair] - Primera Caida; Primera Eliminacion: Negro Casas beat Misterio with LA CASITA. - Primera Caida; Segunda Eliminacion: Mistico submitted Heavy Metal with LA MISTICA. - Primera Caida; Tercera Eliminacion: Negro Casas beat Mistico with LA CASITA. - Segunda Caida; Primera Eliminacion: Misterio eliminated Heavy Metal with a Misteriorana. - Segunda Caida; Segunda Eliminacion: Misterio eliminated Casas with a HURRACARANA. - Tercera Caida; Primera Eliminacion: Heavy Metal eliminated Misterio with a piledriver that went unnoticed. - Tercera Caida; Segunda Eliminacion: Mistico eliminated Heavy Metal with a schoolboy. - Tercera Caida; Tercera Eliminacion: Mistico eliminated Casas with LA MISTICA.
The crowd erupted as Mistico celebrated while he watched his rival's head get shaved. We see the paradmedics loading Misterio into a ramp, and Mike Tenay says it's a shame Misterio won't be able to see this until he sees the tape.
A video plays, recapping LuchaMania III's classic match between Mesias and Wagner. We're then shown LuchaMania 12, with Wagner beating Mesias. We cut to LuchaMania 13, which saw Wagner ref the Mesias vs. Cibernetico match. We're then shown all of the buildup to this match before going back to the ring.
"Bad Medicine" hits, and Dr. Wagner Jr. makes his way to the ring to a HUGE reaction. Tenay says that Wagner is 9-3 at LuchaMania, with the three losses being to Chessman, Zorro, and Mesias. Tenay says that Wagner has never been more driven to win a match, to save his own legacy, than he is tonight. Guerra de Titanes XIII is brought up, and Tenay says that since this is Last Man Standing, there are no pinfalls, no disqualifications, and no excuses.
An "OLE!" chant goes out for Wagner after his entrance.
Thunder cracks as "Lux Aeterna" begins to play. The druids carrying torches walk down the ramp as it begins to rain. One huge blast of pyro later, and Mesias is walking down the ramp to another gigantic reaction. Mesias is 10-4 at LuchaMania, with his losses coming from Dr. Wagner Jr. twice in the Elimination Chamber at LuchaMania V, and LuchaMania 12. Tenay says that Mesias is the man in Lucha Libre International, although he is not the champion, he is the measuring stick for success in the promotion. As Mesias enters the ring, the rain slowly begins to stop, and the introductions begin.
12.) El Mesias b. Dr. Wagner Jr. [last man standing] - Without a doubt, the greatest LuchaMania main event of all time. - Highlights include a WAGNER DRIVER through an announce table, the Messiah Splash off a Ladder, a Messiah Splash off part of the stage, Wagner throwing Mesias off the stage through a table. - Unica Caida: Mesias won when he locked in La Patriota, and left it in until Wagner passed out and could not answer the ten count.
Mesias stands over the broken body of Dr. Wagner Jr. as the show goes to the recap video.

Good Lord, Switch. Did that main event actually roll out like that, or is it just your creative side? If it was dice-based, what chart(s) did you use? Anyway, that was one hell of a LUCHAMANIA!

Used Hyde's Last Man Standing, and most of the LMS match was my creative side kind of running wild as opposed to using a regular chart for it.

I use Hyde's as well. Honestly, this was one of your best cards yet. Solid.

I use Hyde's as well. Honestly, this was one of your best cards yet. Solid. Thanks, I personally felt that the build going in was some of my best in a while. I might not be the best guy for build up or pay off when it comes to smaller PPVs, but when it's LuchaMania, I try to go the extra mile to make the show come off as something special. After I played the Mesias/Wagner Last Man Standing match, I took a look at all the results, then looked back at the cards, and went, "I could type a full page in Word about this match, it kind of sucks that I've pigeon holed myself into just a brief summary of the match."

Lucha News: LuchaMania Fallout - Buyrate, Bonuses, Attendance, Apuestas PPV News, LuchaMania XVI and XVII Locations REVEALED, Which City has hosted LuchaMania the most? more;
- LuchaMania XIV did approximately 1,200,000 buys on Pay-Per-View. This is almost twice as much as the company were expecting going into the show, and needless to say, they're pleased. It's an amazingly strong number, even compared to last year, which pulled nearly a million buys.
- The paid attendance was abut 75,000 fans for a live gate of $1,600,000. Tickets were priced at $1,000, $650, $500, $200, $100, $50, $35, $20, and $10.
- The Hall of Fame Ceremony did a 7.9 rating in Mexico.
- Here are the bonuses for the LuchaMania Main Event Matches: 10.) Chessman ($250,000) vs. Cibernetico (N/A) [MEGA HEAVY] 11.) Mistico ($300,000) & Rey Misterio Jr. ($150,000) vs. Negro Casas ($150,000) & Heavy Metal ($150,000) [mask, hair] 12.) El Mesias ($500,000) vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. ($500,000) [last man standing]
There's a huge gap between Mistico and the others he worked with, but he won the match and was generally the main guy in the angle going into the show. Cibernetico didn't get a LuchaMania bonus because it wasn't in his new contract. He was asked about this at the afterparty, and said he was just happy to be back.
- Dr. Wagner Jr's contract is officially up. Nobody in the company is sure if he's staying around much longer, and he's been talking about retirement for almost a decade. It seems like the loss to Mesias might be it for him. A hell of a way to go out.
- Chris Candido injured his shoulder at LuchaMania. This is very bad news for him, as he's scheduled to wrestle Ric Flair at the LWF's Supershow III in Memphis. Nobody knows the severity.
- The Road Warriors and Paul Ellering gave their notice last night, saying they didn't think it was worth staying around to make little to no money and not being the main attraction.
- Dos Caras Jr. was shown last night with his father. Dos Caras Jr. was actually on the original LuchaMania XIV poster (the first one I posted) but the deal never materialized. Dos Caras Sr. said he was happy to be at the show, and praised the entire card.
- The Apuestas PPV has apparently already been discussed amongst the bookers. The original plan was to have Wagner beat Mesias at LuchaMania, and then face Silver King in a Title vs. Career match, and then retire. Since Wagner lost, and Silver King didn't actually get the title shot, this plan is likely out the window. The bookers are now leaning towards Chessman vs. Mesias in a Title vs. Hair match. Other ideas being tossed around are Elegido vs. Tyler Black with Mickie and Sara Del Rey in their respective corners, and the winner having "ownership" of both of them.
- Two BIG announcements came out of LuchaMania Axxess this weekend, the two announcements being the LuchaMania XVI and XVII venues:
- Card #900, "LuchaMania XV" (PPV); Orange Bowl in Orlando, FL (Previously confirmed) - Card #1,000, "LuchaMania XVI" (PPV); Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX - Card #1,100, "LuchaMania XVII" (PPV); Plaza México in Mexico City, MX
Plaza Mexico is a very well known bull ring (Promoter's Note: The site of the first TripleMania!), and it should be interesting to see them run the big show there instead of Arena Mexico. Reliant Stadium is no shock, since Houston's been campaigning to get LuchaMania in their city since the first LuchaMania.
- Speaking of Cities that have hosted the show so far, here's the list by times held: - 2 times; Chicago, IL (Allstate Arena & Arena LLUSA) - 2 times; Mexico City, MX (Arena Mexico x2) - 2 times; Los Angeles, CA (STAPLES Center x2) - 1 time; London, England (Wembley Stadium) - 1 time; Las Vegas, NV (Thomas Mack Centre) - 1 time; San Diego, CA (Qualcomm Stadium) - 1 time, Toronto, ONT (Rogers Centre) - 1 time; Dallas, TX (Cowboys Stadium) - 1 time; Tokyo, Japan (Korakuen Hall) - 1 time; New York, NY (Madison Square Garden) - 1 time; Indianapolis, IN (Lucas Oil Stadium)
The southwest has held the most LuchaManias, with 5 of them in LA, San Diego, Vegas, and Dallas.

After I played the Mesias/Wagner Last Man Standing match, I took a look at all the results, then looked back at the cards, and went, "I could type a full page in Word about this match, it kind of sucks that I've pigeon holed myself into just a brief summary of the match." Hey, man, I may not always reply, but I'm always reading. You do something others don't do often here, including me. You build up to these PPVs like a crazy sumbitch~!
