Thanks, I personally felt that the build going in was some of my best in a while. I might not be the best guy for build up or pay off when it comes to smaller PPVs, but when it's LuchaMania, I try to go the extra mile to make the show come off as something special. After I played the Mesias/Wagner Last Man Standing match, I took a look at all the results, then looked back at the cards, and went, "I could type a full page in Word about this match, it kind of sucks that I've pigeon holed myself into just a brief summary of the match." Hey, man, I may not always reply, but I'm always reading. You do something others don't do often here, including me. You build up to these PPVs like a crazy sumbitch~! Honestly, I knew you'd reply after LuchaMania, since I think you have after the last two or so. I'm glad you like the fed. I like building to things a lot, even to the point that it makes me start thinking out the way the angle will work depending on what outcome the match has. I have in a notebook I used a while back, the plans for the Wagner/Mesias feud going into LuchaMania III, and then building to their rematch at IV, which obviously didn't happen, but it's a full notebook page with scribbled plans. I like building to things because it makes it more important than something thrown together at the drop of the hat.

Card #801 (TV); Thomas Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV
1.) Trish Stratus & Daizee Haze vs. Sara Del Rey & Daffney 2.) Nicho "el milonario" & Halloween vs. Mike Quackenbush & Pimpinela Escarlata 3.) Elegido ©, Aerostar, Mistico, Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Tyler Black ©, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Chuck Taylor 4.) Murder Clown ©, Psycho Clown, Monster Clown vs. Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Hiroshi Tanahashi 5.) Hijo de Lizmark & Chessman vs. Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson 6.) El Mesias vs. Silver King, Cibernetico, Abismo Negro, Charly Manson, Ozz, Atlantis, Zorro [rumble, #1 contenders MEGA HEAVY]
The first TV taping after LuchaMania seems like it's doing a fair amount of shuffling to the undercard of the company. Maybe I'm looking too much into it, but it seems like most of the undercard feuds in the company are gone in favor of new stuff. I honestly think Aerostar should be in the main event, since they've wanted to shove him to the belt for so long now.
Segunda is a nice change to see Pimpi not in a random atomicos match, and to see Quack on TV again. Nicho and Halloween probably disband after this one match.
Clowns vs. Team Japan will likely lead to a match at the Apuestas PPV, if it's an apuestas match or not, your guess would be as good as mine. I can't see this being too good.
Semifinal is a random change for Lizmark Jr. and Chessman, as well as the Bucks. Should be interesting to see what they can do, and where they go with this.
Main event gives the winner a chance to put something of his on the line against Chessman's Mega Heavyweight Title...alright then. I'm going with Mesias or Cibernetico. I'd be shocked if anyone else won.

Card #801 (TV); Thomas Mack Center in Las Vegas, NVb
Before the opener, Sara Del Rey tells Daizee that she doesn't hold a real Women's Championship. Del Rey says that she's the only real women's champion in wrestling. Daizee elbows her in the face, and the opener gets going.
1.) Sara Del Rey & Daffney b. Trish Stratus & Daizee Haze - Unica Caida: Del Rey pinned Daizee with a rollup after hitting her with the LWF Womens Championship.
After the match, Daizee got on the mic and challenges Del Rey to a title-for-title match at Luchas de Apuestas, and Del Rey accepts.
2.) Nicho "el milonario" & Halloween b. Mike Quackenbush & Pimpinela Escarlata - Unica Caida: Nicho pinned Pimpinela with a Psycho Stunner.
Backstage, Mesias is walking down the hallway when he's approached by Mickie James. She congratulates him on his win over Dr. Wagner, and Mesias thanks her. Elegido approaches, and yanks her away from Mesias. You know, I've seen this before in this promotion...
3.) Elegido ©, Aerostar, Mistico, Rey Misterio Jr. b. Tyler Black ©, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Chuck Taylor - Unica Caida: Mistico submitted Claudio with LA MISTICA, Aerostar pinned Taylor with an imploding senton atomico, Elegido submitted Hero with a BEARHUG.
After the match, Elegido begins looking around, and notices that Mickie is nowhere around, and runs out on his partners during the celebration. This was a dumb move, as the rudos beat up the tecnicos.
4.) Murder Clown ©, Psycho Clown, Monster Clown DQ Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Hiroshi Tanahashi - Unica Caida: Jushin Liger attacked Pepe Casas, forcing the DQ.
The Clowns were getting beaten down when Negro Casas, Heavy Metal, and Felino ran in to make the save. Negro says that you do NOT attack their father, and says that he will make Liger pay for this. La Peste Negra challenges Team Japan to a match at Luchas de Apuestas, and the challenge was neither accepted nor declined.
5.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson b. Hijo de Lizmark & Chessman - Unica Caida: Nick pinned Chessman with the facelock into stunner.
Announced for Luchas de Apuestas - an eight man match where the loser loses his mask or hair, featuring the RETURN of the Domo de la Muerte! The match will feature the guys in the atomicos match earlier.
Backstage, Negro Casas storms into Paco Alonzo's office and demands that Paco make a Peste Negra vs. Team Japan match for the PPV. Casas says he doesn't care what gets put on the line, if anything. Paco makes the match for the PPV. This should be good.
6.) Silver King b. El Mesias, Cibernetico, Abismo Negro, Charly Manson, Ozz, Atlantis, Zorro [rumble, #1 contenders MEGA HEAVY] - Order of Entrance: Charly Manson, Ozz, Atlantis, Cibernetico, Mesias, Zorro, Abismo Negro, Silver King - Order of Elimination: Ozz, Cibernetico, Zorro, Atlantis, Charly Manson. Abismo Negro, El Mesias.
Silver King got on the mic and said he doesn't care what he's got to put on the line, but it's a small price to pay to get his Mega Heavyweight Championship back. So we end this week's show not knowing what exactly Silver is putting up against Chessman's title.
Card #810, "Lucha de Apuestas" (PPV); Alamodome in San Antonio, TX 1.) Daizee Haze vs. Sara Del Rey [reina de reinas, LWF WOMENS] 2.) Elegido vs. Aerostar, Mistico, Rey Misterio Jr., Tyler Black, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Chuck Taylor [dome, hair, mask] 3.) Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal 4.) Chessman vs. Silver King [MEGA HEAVY, bet tba]

Card #803 (TV); US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ
1.) Daizee Haze & Trish Stratus vs. Daffney & April Hunter 2.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson vs. Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli 3.) El Mesias ©, Charly Manson, Abismo Negro vs. Takeshi Morishima ©, Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA 4.) Blue Panther ©, Aerostar, Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Halloween ©, Damian 666, Nicho "el milonario" 5.) Elegido & Sara Del Rey vs. Tyler Black & Mickie James [Relevos Increibles] 6.) Chessman & Cibernetico vs. Silver King & ?
And it seems like they've quit the reshuffling for the time being, at least for the most part. The opener is a standard women's match, nothing out of the ordinary there.
Segunda could set up a new feud for the Bucks, since everyone knows they need it after being smacked around by the Midnight Express. I see this being a good match, or a complete failure with a non finish.
Mexico (and Puerto Rico!) vs. Japan continues with MoriKENTAFuji taking on Mesias, Charly, and Abismo. This should be a good match, but I hope for the sake of everyone who reads this that they don't branch this out to another Mesias/Morishima series.
Mexico's Most Wanted vs. Blue Panther and Friends could set up a major Cruiserweight Title program for Nicho and Rey, and if they don't hotshot it, and play off of their past history (Nicho is the original Psicosis, arguably Rey's biggest rival), the feud would be great.
Semifinal might further what we saw last week with Elegido turning jealous all of a sudden. Pretty ironic Mickie's teaming with the same guy she had that angle with way way back, isn't it? Should be a good semifinal.
Silver King announces what he's putting on the line at Luchas de Apuestas at this show, AND he has a mystery partner. I'm assuming it'll be Wagner, but the fact he wasn't at the last taping speaks to me that he's retired. There are a few people I'm thinking of that it could be, but it'll probably be someone off the wall like Gronda...oh wait, he's injured.
Should be a good episode of TV.

Lucha News: Wagner update, Early LuchaMania plans, Gronda injury update, injury on last episode of TV:
- It seems that Dr. Wagner Jr. has really retired. He told the company he would not be back for TV, and was on a plane home to Mexico during the taping in Las Vegas after LuchaMania.
- Talks backstage are that at LuchaMania XV, we'll see the LuchaMania 13 rematch of Mesias vs. Cibernetico. The thought is that since Mesias/Wagner drew a good crowd and buyrate with it not being for the title, this match will as well. I honestly do not see that being the case.
- Gronda will be back by the Lucha en Jaula PPV. You're not happy, I can tell. Neither am I.
- The company are scrapping the idea of a Money in the Bank concept at Guerra de Titanes, and are looking at moving the Elimination Chamber matches to that Pay-Per-View. This implies them coming up with a new gimmick for Verano de Escandalo, unless they plan to present that as a regular PPV.
- Mike Quackenbush suffered a broken jaw at the last TV taping. He'll be out for quite some time, and will also miss all his upcoming LWF dates.
- Currently, the company is planning a Mexico vs. Japan Flag Match at the Apuestas PPV. No word on who would be in it, but one could take the guess it would be La Peste Negra vs. Liger and Team DG. It could also be another randomly thrown together match.
- LA Park will be returning to the company soon.

Lucha News: Verano and Guerra de Titanes posters, Silver King update, Dr. Wagner Jr, more:
- The poster for Verano de Escandalo VI, as posted on the STAPLES Center website:
This is the first Verano de Escandalo poster since II that didn't feature the Elimination Chamber, or a steel cage. Also, I think it's the first Lucha Libre USA/International poster to feature women. Personally, other than the text, I think it's a good poster.
- And now the Guerra de Titanes poster, courtesy of SuperLuchas:
- If Silver King feuds with Mistico, and they have the match in Mexico City, that may be the hottest crowd ever for Lucha Libre International.
- Despite being on both of those posters, Silver King is expected to put his career on the line against Chessman at Luchas de Apuestas, and lose to Chessman, and officially retire like his brother, Dr. Wagner Jr, apparently has.
- Speaking of Dr. Wagner Jr, he'll be on Figure Four Daily tonight. You better believe that recap will be posted.
- From tonight's Lucha Libre International taping, several fans have reported seeing Electroshock and Octagon, both with masks on, going into the arena earlier today. It's assumed one of them will be Silver King's tag partner. Results will be up later.
- Lucha Libre International is looking into running shows in Australia and even returning to England in the future.

Card #803 (TV); US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ
Chessman starts the show with a promo, saying he bested Cibernetico in one of the toughest matches of his life at LuchaMania XIV. He says at the next Pay-Per-View, he must face Silver King in what should be the easiest match of his life. Chessman says that it doesn't matter what Silver King bets - Chessman's going to take it.
1.) Daizee Haze & Trish Stratus b. Daffney & April Hunter - Unica Caida: Haze pinned Hunter with a Yakuza Kick.
After the match, Daffney hits Daizee with the belt, and then lays Trish out with the belt. Daffney says she wants the winner of Del Rey and Daizee.
Before the next match, the commentators note that the Bucks will be defending the tag titles against Dragon Kid and Shingo Takagi at the next PPV.
2.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson b. Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli - Unica Caida: Matt pinned Hero with a rollup after Necro Butcher threw powder in his face.
Shingo and Dragon Kid run in, but get run off by the Bucks. Huge "USA" chants during the run in.
We're shown a LuchaMania XIV advertisement, saying that replays are available on Pay-Per-View.
We're taken to footage of Mesias in the JWA, pinning Takeshi Morishima on the most recent Budokan show. We're then taken to a team Japan promo, and they say that the Mexican wrestlers (Does this include Mesias? I mean, he's Puerto Rican..) are garbage, and can't compare to the Japanese wrestlers.
3.) El Mesias ©, Charly Manson, Abismo Negro DQ Takeshi Morishima ©, Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA - Unica Caida: Morishima strangled Mesias with a chain.
After the match, Abismo Negro blasted Morishima in the back with a chair. Morishima turned around and flattened Abismo with a Lariat. Charly brought in a light tube and smashed Mori in the back with it. Morishima turned around and laid Charly out with the AMAZE IMPACT. Morishima and MaruKENTA posed over the downed bodies of the tecnicos before heading to the back.
4.) Halloween ©, Damian 666, Nicho "el milonario" b. Blue Panther ©, Aerostar, Rey Misterio Jr. - Unica Caida: Nicho pinned Aerostar with a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP, Halloween pinned Misterio with a moonsault.
Backstage, Cibernetico cuts a promo on Silver King, saying that he's not worthy of a Mega Heavyweight Championship match. Ciber says he's going to wait patiently until Chessman is done with him, because he knows that Chessman will give him a title shot. Silver King approaches him and laughs. Silver calls Ciber a loser, and says that's all Ciber will ever be.
5.) Elegido & Sara Del Rey b. Tyler Black & Mickie James [Relevos Increibles] - Unica Caida: Elegido beat Mickie with a BEARHUG.
Elegido wouldn't release the hold after the match. Gronda II runs in and takes Elegido down with a clothesline. Gronda lays Elegido out with a CHOKESLAM before lifting him up and throwing him out of the ring. Gronda helps Mickie up, and he celebrates while acting like she's not in the ring. Oh Gronda, we missed you!
Paco Alonzo is in his office, and says that due to the disgusting actions of Team Japan earlier, that there will be a rematch at Luchas de Apuestas, and the rematch will be a Flag Match! Paco also announces that Nicho will defend the Cruiserweight Championship in a six man Domo de la Muerte at the PPV. Is this a smart move, having two cage matches right before the Cage Match PPV?
Silver King's entrance comes to an end. They stall for a few seconds before "Thriller" by Michael Jackson hit, and LA Park makes his way out, and is announced as Silver King's mystery partner.
6.) Silver King & LA Park b. Chessman & Cibernetico - Unica Caida: Silver King pinned Chessman with a SILVER KICK.
Silver King gets the mic, and begins laughing. He says he's so sure that he can beat Silver King at Luchas de Apuestas, that he'd bet his career on it. Silver stands over Chessman with the Mega Heavyweight Title to end the show.
Card #810, "Luchas de Apuestas" (PPV); Alamodome in San Antonio, TX 1.) Elegido vs. Aerostar, Mistico, Rey Misterio Jr., Tyler Black, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Chuck Taylor [dome, hair, mask] 2.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson vs. Dragon Kid & Shingo Takagi [INTERNATIONAL TAG] 3.) Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal 4.) Daizee Haze vs. Sara Del Rey [reina de reinas, LWF WOMENS] 5.) El Mesias ©, Charly Manson, Abismo Negro vs. Takeshi Morishima ©, Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA [flag] 6.) Nicho "el milonario" vs. Blue Panther, Escoria, Atlantis, Chris Candido, Juventud Guerrera [dome, INTERNATIONAL CRUISER] 7.) Chessman vs. Silver King [MEGA HEAVY, career]
