Card #811 (TV); Toyota Center in Houston, TX
Arturo Rivera is in the ring. He welcomes everyone to the show in Spanish. He recaps the incident at the PPV, saying only that a group of rogue Masked Men beat up the Lucha Libre International roster and sabotaged the main event of the evening.
Rivera then goes on to say that the company deserves it for the way they've treated their own talent since the beginning. Rivera quits on the spot. Paco Alonzo comes out on the stage and says that Rivera is out of his mind, and wants to know his involvement with the attack.
Konnan and Perro Aguayo Jr. enter from the crowd and attack Paco. Mesias and Cibernetico try to make the save, but they're overwhelmed by the masked men, who come from underneath the ring. They beat down the tecnicos before fleeing from security personnel.
A video advertising Night of Champions plays as we return from the commercial break.
Elegido is in the ring. He says he fell for a tramp with no loyalty, so he's found someone who will stick beside him no matter what...Trish Stratus! Well...alright.
1.) Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada b. Elegido & Trish Stratus [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] - Uncia Caida: Liger pinned Elegido with a LIGER BOMB.
As Team Japan celebrates, we're taken to the brackets for the tournament: REMAINING QUARTERFINAL MATCHES: - Gronda II & Mickie James vs. Billy Boy & Daffney (Card #815) SEMIFINAL MATCHES: - Aerostar & Daizee Haze vs. Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada (Card #818) - Gran Apache & Mari Apache vs. Winners of Quarterfinal from #815 (Card #818) THE FINALS: - Winners of Semifinal #1 vs. Winners of Semifinal #2 (Night of Champions)
Backstage, Chessman is shown walking down the hallway when he comes face-to-face with Silver King. Chessman tells Silver not to be so damn proud of himself - the two are going to meet again, and the next time they do, Silver won't have his buddies to hide behind like a coward. Electroshock attempts to attack Chessman from behind, but it's thwarted by Charly Manson, leading to a big 'ol staredown before the segunda.
2.) Tyler Black ©, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli b. CIMA ©, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Susumu Yokosuka - Unica Caida: Black pinned Yokosuka with God's Last Gift, Claudio pinned Tanahashi with a RICOLA BOMB.
Before the next match, Dragon Kid tells the Bucks that they got lucky at Luchas de Apuestas, and that Team Dragon Gate want a rematch. Nick and Matt say that if Team DG win tonight, they'll get a rematch at Night of Champions.
3.) Dragon Kid ©, Shingo Takagi, Daffney, Mini Abismo Negro b. Nick Jackson ©, Matt Jackson, Mickie James, Octagoncito - Unica Caida: Dragon Kid pinned Nick with an ULTRA HURACARANA.
Mesias is shown on the screen. He says that he's fought off invaders before. Perros del Mal, POW, but this is different. He says that these invaders are everywhere. Outside the company, and inside the company. Mesias says he won't let them corrupt Lucha Libre.
A graphic announces Mini Charly Manson vs. Mini Abismo Negro vs. Octagoncito vs. Mini Chessman vs. Mascarita Sagrada for the Minis Title at Night of Champions.
Konnan is in the parking lot with Perro Aguayo Jr and Arturo Rivera. Konnan says that Mesias is right, there ARE invaders inside the company. Konnan says that La Legion Extranjera (The Foreign Legion) will not be stopped. And as for corrupting Lucha Libre, you can't corrupt something that was corrupted a long time ago. Konnan ends the promo with the phrase Viva La Legion Extranjera.
4.) Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal b. Aerostar ©, Rey Misterio Jr, Mistico [#1 contenders, NATIONAL TRIOS] - Unica Caida: Casas pinned Aerostar with LA CASITA.
La Peste Negra attempted to celebrate, but were jumped by CIMA, KENTA, and Naomichi Marufuji. The Psycho Circus made the save for La Peste Negra.
Paco Alonzo is in his office. He announces that Silver King will defend himself in a Champion of Champions match against five previous Mega Heavyweight Champions. Four of the opponents were announced: Mesias, Cibernetico, Ozz, and Chessman. The fifth challenger was not.
Cibernetico is shown in the back. He says that Lucha Libre International is at war with the Japanese wrestlers, and now these outsiders want to come into his territory and try to take his livelihood? Not without a fight, the Apocalypse is coming.
5.) El Mesias & Cibernetico DCO Silver King & Electroshock - Unica Caida: Both teams were counted out while brawling in the crowd.
A video is shown, surveying the damage at the end of the Luchas de Apuestas PPV. We're shown Mesias, Cibernetico, Charly Manson, Aerostar, LA Park, La Parka, Gronda II, Abismo Negro, all laid out in the back.

A huge brawl erupts between the seven invaders and the seven Lucha Libre International stars. The lights go out, and the theme song of Abismo Negro hits as the crowd goes crazy...but that's all the time we have for this week!

Lucha News: New PPV Gimmick hinted at, Mystery Entrant, Plans for the Foreign Legion, more:
- The company has hinted that they may do a War Games match at Guerra de Titanes. One would assume this is the blowoff to one of the two big invasion angles they've got going on now. Nothing is confirmed at this point.
- Rumor also has it that Hell in the Cell will make its return this year at one of the major Pay-Per-View events. The last Hell in the Cell match was at the return of Rey de Reyes a few years ago leading into LuchaMania 12.
- There have been talks within the company that the mystery challenger for Silver King is Dr. Wagner Jr. Wagner has stated over and over again that he's officially retired, but this seems like a likely time to bring him back. Other names being tossed around are Abismo Negro, Electroshock, and Charly Manson.
- The current plan for Konnan's stable is to include a lot of fresh, new talent, but so far the stable appears to consist of: - Konnan - El Hijo del Perro Aguayo - Silver King - Electroshock - Ozz - Zorro - Vampiro - Arturo Rivera
Out of all of them, only one of them is considered a foreigner by Lucha Libre standards - Vampiro. The stable is pretty strong as it is, and there's a lot of other names that haven't yet debuted anywhere in the LWF that are being thrown around.
- Tickets for LuchaMania XV go on sale the day of the next TV taping. Prices are $1,500, $900, $500, $300, $200. These are presumably all floor seats/lower level bleacher seats.
- To follow up on what was previously reported, Mickie James confirmed to SuperLuchas that she is indeed leaving Lucha Libre International after LuchaMania XV to focus on endeavors outside the wrestling business.
- TLC may be changed this year. It seems like they want a different gimmick for that Pay-Per-View. Maybe they could go with an all lightning match PPV? 30 match card for the win! No but really, that's an idea.
- Guerra de Titanes XIII may be moved from Palicio de los Deportes to Arena Monterrey. No word as to why, but this is sort of a big deal if it happens. We'll keep everybody up to date on this.

Card #815 (TV); Mid South Coliseum in Memphis, TN
1.) Mini Abismo Negro ©, LA Park-ita, Mini Chessman vs. Mini Charly Manson ©, Octagoncito, Mascarita Sagrada 2.) Daizee Haze & April Hunter vs. Sara Del Rey & Beth Phoenix 3.) Gronda II & Mickie James vs. Billy Boy & Daffney [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] 4.) LA Park & Cibernetico vs. Vampiro & Zorro 5.) Tyler Black ©, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson vs. CIMA ©, Dragon Kid, Shingo Takagi 6.) Abismo Negro & Chessman vs. Silver King & Ozz
Well, this is going to get interesting real fast. This is either where the Legion/LLI angle flops, or gets even stronger than it was last week. The main event is something I'll get to later, let's look at the card itself real fast.
Opener is your standard issue minis match, but should be decent at the very least. Rudos will probably win, though I have no confidence in Mini Abismo or Mini Chessman winning the Minis Title at the Pay-Per-View.
Womens tag in the segunda looks like it's going to lead to a four way at Night of Champions, which would imply that Daizee Haze isn't going to win her semifinal match in the mixed tag title tournament. Maybe she does, and pulls double duty?
I can't see Billy and Daffney going over Mickie and Gronda, though that idea does lend itself to a big womens title match at the PPV, which would be better than seeing Gronda ruin what was once one of the best divisions in the company.
Park and Ciber vs. Vampiro and Zorro is going to be interesting. If it's a non finish, there's no doubt in my mind that the Legion win this match. If it is a non finish, I'm guessing there's a ton of run ins.
Semifinal is another interesting case, because historically, Black doesn't play well with tecnicos. Then again, they've got one hell of a common enemy here. I'm guessing Team Japan wins so as to give them more momentum going into the PPV.
Abismo Negro is back! And masked! I'm guessing this is where he puts himself in the match at the PPV as the fifth challenger. As for the match? Probably won't be much, and will likely be a non finish.
Like I said, this is either where the angle flops, or where it begins to build even further to where they're going.

Lucha News: Dr. Wagner Jr. is a Big Fat Liar, Night of Champions Update, more:
- Dr. Wagner Jr. has been promoting the new promotion he's involved with. It's called Revolucha. This means Wagner went back on his word about being retired, making him a big fat liar.
- It seems like there might be an internet preview match to Night of Champions. Everyone I've talked to thinks it'll be the Reina de Reinas title match. The feeling is that it would be a waste to put the Mixed Tag Title Tournament Finals on the internet pre show.
- Word within the company is that Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards will debut in Lucha Libre International by the end of the year. Also, according to Paco Alonzo's recent interview with RECORD, they've been in contact with Jay and Mark Briscoe as recently as last week.
- Gronda is injured again! He seems to have reinjured his leg at a house show in a match against Elegido. It seems likely that he and Mickie won't be advancing in the tournament, or this cluster of a storyline.
- Announced for the TV Taping Louisville: LA Park, Cibernetico, El Mesias, Abismo Negro, and Aerostar vs. Ozz, Vampiro, Zorro, Silver King, and Electroshock. No word if this is the TV main event, or the post-taping dark match.
- Silver King says he wants to face Chessman mano-a-mano again to see who the true Mega Heavyweight Champion is. I'd like to see this, too. The Luchas de Apuestas match was great, but history dictates that match quality only goes downhill from there.
- Current plans indicate that the Legion vs. LLI Angle may go through next year. Oh great.

Card #815 (TV); Mid South Coliseum in Memphis, TN
To open the show, a video plays recapping last week's big brawl, which saw Abismo Negro run in to make the save as the show went off the air.
We're taken to Konnan, Vampiro, Arturo Rivera, Ozz, Zorro, Silver King, and Electroshock, all of whom are standing in a parking lot. Konnan says that all of them except for Vampiro, Zorro, Silver King, and Ozz have been banned from the building tonight. Konnan laughs it off and says that Paco Alonzo is an idiot if he thinks that's going to stop La Legion Extranjera.
1.) Mini Abismo Negro ©, LA Park-ita, Mini Chessman b. Mini Charly Manson ©, Octagoncito, Mascarita Sagrada - Unica Caida: Mini Abismo pinned Mini Charly with the MARTINETE ESPECIAL.
As Daizee Haze entered for the segunda, a graphic shows that a six woman elimination match was announced for Night of Champions as a special Lucha Libre International webcast match.
2.) Daizee Haze & April Hunter DQ Sara Del Rey & Beth Phoenix - Unica Caida: Sara Del Rey hit Daizee with the LWF Womens title, forcing a DQ.
Daizee pulled Del Rey back in the ring and hit her with THE MIND TRIP. Daizee then held up Reina de Reinas as April Hunter looked on from the corner.
In the parking lot, we see Nicho arrive at the building. Konnan approaches him and tries recruiting him into La Legion Extranjera. Nicho says he's not down with what Konnan is trying to do. As he attempts to walk away, he's smashed in the face with the cane from Zorro. Konnan says that he's known Nicho for years, and that he'll give him one more week to think it over, because if you're not with the Legion, you're just another victim. Why try recruiting Nicho? It's not like he's going to HELP.
3.) Billy Boy & Daffney b. Gronda II & Mickie James [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] - Unica Caida: Billy Boy submitted Gronda with a half crab.
We're then taken to the tournament brackets: SEMIFINAL MATCHES: - Aerostar & Daizee Haze vs. Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada (Card #818) - Gran Apache & Mari Apache vs. Billy Boy & Daffney (Card #818) THE FINALS: - Winners of Semifinal #1 vs. Winners of Semifinal #2 (Night of Champions)
A graphic then announces Nicho vs. Aerostar vs. CIMA vs. Ultramantis Black vs. Mike Quackenbush vs. Tyler Black for the Cruiserweight Championship at Night of Champions.
Before the next match, Cibernetico gets on the mic and says that he has unfinished business with LA Park. Ciber says that Park is a coward and had to foul him to get the victory at Luchas de Apuestas. Ciber says that he is willing to put this aside to fight off La Legion Extranjera. Park slaps Ciber and the two get face to face. This was the opportunity Zorro and Vampiro needed, as they rushed the ring and attacked the two.
4.) Vampiro & Zorro b. LA Park & Cibernetico - Unica Caida: Zorro pinned Park with a German Suplex.
After the match, Cibernetico attacked Vampiro, clothslining him out of the ring. Zorro dropped to his knees, begging Ciber not to attack him. Ciber looks to the crowd, who erupt. Ciber picks Zorro up, but is attacked by two masked men. As Aerostar, Mesias, and Charly Manson run to the ring, the masked men leave through the crowd.
Backstage, Paco Alonzo is seen talking to Chessman. Chessman tells Paco that the Foreign Legion won't leave Night of Champions with the Mega Heavyweight Championship. As Chessman leaves Paco's office, he's jumped by Ozz and Silver King, who throw him through a door, and down a flight of steps.
5.) CIMA ©, Dragon Kid, Shingo Takagi b. Tyler Black ©, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson - Unica Caida: Shingo beat Nick with LOST FALCONRY, CIMA pinned Matt with the MAD SPLASH.
Before the main, Abismo says that due to the cowardly actions of Silver and Ozz, he had to find a new partner on short notice, one who has also fallen victim to the Legion in the past. He announces his partner as Aerostar!
6.) Abismo Negro & Aerostar b. Silver King & Ozz - Unica Caida: Aerostar pinned Silver with a SHOOTING STAR PRESS.
Silver King and Aerostar celebrated as the show came to a close.
Card #820, "Night of Champions" (PPV); Roberts Stadium in Evansville, IN 0.) Sara Del Rey vs. April Hunter vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James vs. Daizee Haze vs. Trish Stratus [reina de reinas] 1.) Mini Charly Manson vs. Mini Abismo Negro vs. Octagoncito vs. Mini Chessman vs. Mascarita Sagrada [WORLD MINIS] 2.) Murder Clown ©, Monster Clown, Psycho Clown vs. Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal [NATIONAL TRIOS] 3.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson vs. Dragon Kid & Shingo Takagi [INTERNATIONAL TAG] 4.) Nicho "el milonario" vs. Aerostar vs. CIMA vs. Ultramantis Black vs. Mike Quackenbush vs. Tyler Black [INTERNATIONAL CRUISER] 5.) Silver King vs. El Mesias vs. Cibernetico vs. Chessman vs. Ozz vs. ? Card #818 (TV); Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY
1.) Gran y Mari Apache vs. Billy Boy & Daffney [torneo, MIXED TAG, semifinal] 2.) Octagoncito & Mini Charly Manson vs. Mini Abismo Negro & Mini Chessman [lightning] 3.) Nicho "el milonario" ©, Ultramantis Black, Tyler Black vs. Mike Quackenbush ©, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson 4.) El Mesias ©, Charly Manson, Abismo Negro vs. Zorro ©, Vampiro, Ozz 5.) Aerostar & Daizee Haze vs. Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada [torneo, MIXED TAG, semifinal] 6.) Silver King vs. ?
So this is the go-home show for Night of Champions. This seems like it'll be a good enough episode. The semifinal matches are pretty obvious, well at least the semifinal is. Daizee likely won't win the match, because they likely don't want her to pull double duty. The opener is a bit harder to guess. If the Apaches win, then no doubt they're winning the whole tournament. If the finals end up rudos vs. rudos, then it'll be extremely entertaining.
Minis tag match is a minis tag match. Will possibly be good, and a good preview of the match at Night of Champions. Probably going to see the rudos win, only to lose at the PPV.
First trios match looks good, Quack and the Bucks could win this, it would make sense. Team DG will no doubt be involved somehow. Wonder what Nicho's answer for Konnan will be?
Mesias and friends vs. the Legion should be a hardcore match, because that's the only way that the match will be good. I can't see Mesias or his team losing, but they have to give the Legion the win.
No idea who is going to face Silver in the main event. They haven't revealed number six for the Champion of Champions match at the PPV. It could possibly be Chessman, but they hinted that he was taken out last episode.

Card #818 (TV); Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY
Silver King is in the ring to open the show. Silver says that Paco Alonzo is keeping a secret from him and the Lucha Libre fans by not telling everyone who this big mystery sixth man is. Paco Alonzo appears on the video screen and says that due to the actions of La Legion Extranjera last week, Chessman will not be able to wrestle at Night of Champions, meaning there are TWO opponents that nobody knows about. Paco announces the first one as Abismo Negro.
Silver King laughs it off, saying that he's beaten Abismo in the past, and is not worried about this at all. Paco says that Silver should adjust his tone, because there's still one man left. Paco says that when the forces of Lucha Libre are threatened, you need to have an ace in the hole. Someone that the enemies never saw coming, and that's exactly who Paco has. Silver demands to know who, and Paco says he'll know in just a few short days.
1.) Gran y Mari Apache b. Billy Boy & Daffney [torneo, MIXED TAG, semifinal] - Unica Caida: Gran Apache pinned Daffney with SPLASH MOUNTAIN.
As La Familia Apache celebrated, the commentators remarked that they will be facing either Aerostar and Daizee Haze or Team Japan at Night of Champions to become the first team of Mixed Tag Champions crowned in two years!
Backstage, Nicho is approached by Rey Misterio Jr. Rey says that he and Nicho have a lot of history between them, but Nicho can't sell himself out and join forces with Konnan. Nicho tells Rey to mind his own damn business, and walks away.
2.) Octagoncito & Mini Charly Manson DRAW Mini Abismo Negro & Mini Chessman [lightning] - Unica Caida: The 10:00 time limit expired.
As the minis begin to argue amongst themselves, Konnan, Ozz, Vampiro, Zorro, Electroshock, and Arturo Rivera rush the ring and effectively throw the minis out. Konnan tells Nicho that it's time to make the decision. Nicho enters with Tyler Black and Ultramantis Black. Nicho tells Konnan to take his offer and shove it. Nicho doesn't stand for what Konnan's trying to do. The Legion start to beat Nicho down, but his partners, as well as the opposing team rush the ring and push them to the outside, leading to...
3.) Mike Quackenbush ©, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson b. Nicho "el milonario" ©, Ultramantis Black, Tyler Black - Unica Caida: Matt pinned Nicho with a MOONSAULT.
After the match, Team Japan of CIMA, Shingo, Dragon Kid, and Tanahashi rush the ring and begin attacking the Bucks. La Legion Extranjera interject, helping Team Japan. Konnan gets on the mic and says that Team Japan are now a part of La Legion Extranjera. This stable has gotten entirely too big too fast.
"Lux Aeterna" hits, and Mesias, Charly, and Abismo rush the ring, leading to...
4.) El Mesias ©, Charly Manson, Abismo Negro DQ Zorro ©, Vampiro, Ozz - Unica Caida: Ozz fouled Charly, forcing the DQ.
La Legion bailed the hell out of there after the match. Mesias gets on the mic and says that he's sick of constantly fighting guys who have no respect for Lucha Libre. Mesias says if Konnan wants a war, Mesias just has to make one phone call, and a war is what they'll get.
A video plays, recapping La Famila Apache's match from earlier. They're guest commentators for the other Semifinal match.
5.) Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada b. Aerostar & Daizee Haze [torneo, MIXED TAG, semifinal] - One of the better matches of the year so far. - Unica Caida: Liger pinned Aerostar with a LIGER BOMB.
Liger and Hamada taunted the Apaches after the match. This leads to a big pull apart brawl between the two teams.
In the back, Alfonso Morales is standing by with Silver King. Silver says that he will get the information of who #6 is before tonight is over, even if it means taking Paco out in the process. Silver's music hits and he makes his way out to the ring for the main event. He says he wants to know who the final guy is, or he's going to start taking out everyone sitting in the building one-by-one. "Thriller" by Michael Jackson hits, and LA Park rushes to the ring with a chair.
6.) LA Park CO Silver King - Unica Caida: Silver King took a walk and was counted out.
As Silver's backpedaling, the theme of Mistico plays, and out steps Paco Alonzo, and next to him? Mistico, the fifth challenger for the Mega Heavyweight Championship. The crowd goes crazy, and Silver King looks worried as the show comes to a close.
Card #820, "Night of Champions" (PPV); Roberts Stadium in Evansville, IN 1.) Murder Clown ©, Monster Clown, Psycho Clown vs. Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal [NATIONAL TRIOS] 2.) Nicho "el milonario" vs. Aerostar vs. CIMA vs. Ultramantis Black vs. Mike Quackenbush vs. Tyler Black [INTERNATIONAL CRUISER] 3.) Sara Del Rey vs. April Hunter vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James vs. Daizee Haze vs. Trish Stratus [reina de reinas] 4.) Mini Charly Manson vs. Mini Abismo Negro vs. Octagoncito vs. Mini Chessman vs. Mascarita Sagrada [WORLD MINIS] 5.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson vs. Dragon Kid & Shingo Takagi [INTERNATIONAL TAG] 6.) Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada vs. Gran y Mari Apache [torneo, MIXED TAG, finals] 7.) Silver King vs. El Mesias vs. Cibernetico vs. Abismo Negro vs. Ozz vs. Mistico [MEGA HEAVY]

Card #820, "Night of Champions" (PPV/iPPV); Roberts Stadium in Evansville, IN
This report is credit to SuperLuchas.
Pre Show Notes: - Sellout crowd, 100% full. - PPV has a three hour, thirty minute time slot. Probably means we're going to see some long matches. - Dark Match: Electroshock & El Hijo del Perro Aguayo b. Rey Misterio Jr. & Delirious.
Show opens with a really nice video package showcasing the Mixed Tag Title tournaments (putting emphasis on the belts even though they likely won't matter in a few weeks!), and the Mega Heavyweight Championship match. This is followed by a huge pyro display and the commentators run down the entire card before we go to the opening match.
1.) Murder Clown ©, Monster Clown, Psycho Clown b. Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal [NATIONAL TRIOS] - Primera Caida: Monster and Negro Casas start off. The clowns are making fun of Casas and Heavy Metal, who were shaved bald at LuchaMania XIV, and their hair hasn't quite come back yet. First fall consisted mainly of comedy spots from the clowns and La Peste Negra acting frustrated. First fall ended with Felino pinning Murder with Splash Mountain. - Segunda Caida: Casas and Felino continue to beat down the clowns in the second fall, nearly putting Monster away with Splash Mountain and the Rikilariato. Psycho Clown pinned Heavy Metal with a rollup early in the fall. Felino pinned Monster Clown with LA CASITA. The crowd got hot as the match was just a pinfall away from either continuing, or ending. Murder Clown pinned Felino with a POWERBOMB. - Tercera Caida: Third fall started with both teams brawling around the arena, and into the crowd. This nearly forced a countout, but Felino and Psycho Clown got in with less than a second to spare. Really good fall that saw both teams nearly pull out the victory, but in the end, a HIGH ANGLE POWERBOMB to Negro Casas sealed the victory for the Psycho Circus. Opener went about 19 minutes.
Paco Alonzo is in his office with Cibernetico, Mesias, Abismo Negro, and Mistico. Paco says that tonight, it's four-on-two with Lucha Libre International against La Legion Extranjera. Paco says that none of the others are in the building. Mesias says that Team Japan is here. Paco has already warned Team Japan that if they interfere, they're going to be fired. Paco says that they have to bring the Mega Heavyweight Championship back to Lucha Libre International.
2.) CIMA b. Nicho "el milonario", Aerostar, Ultramantis Black, Mike Quackenbush, Tyler Black [INTERNATIONAL CRUISER] - Unica Caida: This is a first fall match, meaning whoever scores the first pin/submission wins. Commentators note that this is CIMA's first Cruiserweight Title match since the very first match to decide the first champion back at LuchaMania II. Really good match here with everybody breaking out big dives to get the crowd into the match. Tyler Black had the full support of the audience, and received a gigantic pop when he entered. Black's near falls for God's Last Gift to CIMA and the PHOENIX SPLASH to Aerostar were met with a huge reaction. Nicho gave Ultramantis Black a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP through a table, but Quackenbush broke up the pin. Aerostar hit everyone involved in the match with a blind plancha, but couldn't follow up. Finish came after Nicho hit Quack with a chair. CIMA dropkicked the chair into Nicho's face and hit Quack with a MAD SPLASH to win his first Cruiserweight Championship. Match time was 17:59.
CIMA celebrates with the championship as the commentators go over replays from the match, and note that as of right now, La Legion Extranjera holds two of Lucha Libre International's championships, and by the end of the night, may hold four of them.
A video recaps the Mixed Tag Title Tournament, showing the losses of Mickie, Del Rey, Daizee, and Trish. The crowd are not pleased to have this match going on right now.
3.) Sara Del Rey b. April Hunter, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Daizee Haze, Trish Stratus [reina de reinas] - Unica Caida: Crowd reacted during the entrances, didn't change much during the match. A pretty good women's match given the participants and the two matches it had to follow. Del Rey hit a splash from the top to the outside onto Phoenix and Haze early on, looked like she hurt her knee. Trish hit Hunter with STRATUSFACTION, but Mickie broke it up. Phoenix hit her with a GLAM SLAM, which was broken up by Daizee. Daizee cleared the ring with a series of Yakuza Kicks before being brought down by a German Suplex from Del Rey. Match went about 9 minutes.
Minis entrances weren't shown on the PPV, as the show cut out for several people. The commentators could be heard, but nothing of note was said.
4.) Mini Charly Manson b. Mini Abismo Negro, Octagoncito, Mini Chessman, Mascarita Sagrada [WORLD MINIS] - Unica Caida: Typical minis match here, which wasn't good enough for this crowd. Mini Charly got booed like hell in this match, and everyone wanted to see Mascarita Sagrada win the match. Everybody did dives, but the crowd didn't seem to care. Finish came when Mini Charly submitted Mascarita, much to the chagrin of the crowd, with EL POZO. Match barely went 7 minutes.
A video recaps the Tag Title match from Luchas de Apuestas, and has thoughts from both teams. The Bucks call themselves the best Tag Team in the world, and Team DG says their victory was just a fluke. The crowd got hot during the entrances, booing the hell out of Team Dragon Gate. Huge pop for the Bucks.
5.) Dragon Kid & Shingo Takagi b. Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson [INTERNATIONAL TAG] - Primera Caida: "Let's go Young Bucks" and "Let's go Shingo" dueling chant as the match starts. You can barely hear the chant for Shingo. Shingo locks up with Matt, backs him to the corner, he slaps Matt, and the first fall erupts into a brawl that takes all four men around ringside. Shingo ate a superkick into the post from Matt, which busted him open pretty good. First fall ended after Shingo fouled Matt and rolled in to get a countout win for the first fall. - Segunda Caida: Nick dropkicks Shingo to the outside and hits him with a dive to start the second fall. Crowd got really hot here because they knew the Bucks were about to lose if they couldn't turn things around. MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK to Dragon Kid, but he kicked out before Shingo could make the save. Really good fall that ended with a 450 SPLASH from Nick to Dragon Kid. - Tercera Caida: Alfonso Morales says over the speakers that there's 15 minutes left in the match, meaning this has gone 45:00 so far. The Bucks are sweating buckets, Shingo is busted open from the superkick into the ring post in the first fall. Shingo starts going Guerilla Warfare on the bucks, smashing them with lariats and attempting to set up LOST FALCONRY. Near the end of the match, the Bucks hit MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, but Dragon Kid pulled the referee out of the ring. While they were arguing, CIMA hit Nick with the Cruiserweight Title and ran as Matt chased him to the back. Team DG hit an ULTRA HURACARANA from the Doomsday Device to win the match at 52:47. This is officially the third longest Tag Title match ever behind the two hour matches The Bucks had with Santo and Octagon.
The video we saw earlier recapping the Mixed Tag Title tournament plays again before the semifinal.
The crowd is hot as "Ikari No Jyushin" hits, and Liger and Hamada make their way out to a pretty hot crowd. They're being booed tremendously as they walk to the ring. Alfonso Morales says that Liger has nearly done it all here in Lucha Libre International, and if he succeeds tonight, he is only one title short of being the first Grand Slam Champion.
"We Will Rock You" by Queen hits as La Familia Apache makes their way to the ring. The commentators note that Mari and her sister Fabi have both held Reina de Reinas and the Mixed Tag belts on several occasions, but tonight may be the biggest night of Mari's career as she has the chance to win the Tag titles with her own father, Gran Apache.
6.) Gran y Mari Apache b, Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada [torneo, MIXED TAG, finals] - Primera Caida: Lots of cheating by Liger in the first fall. Eye gouging and never giving Apache a clean break, Liger stayed right on him until he tagged in to Mari, who went right after Liger. A blind tag from Hamada as Mari hits the ropes, attempting a lariat on Liger. Hamada hits Mari with a springboard dropkick and the two begin to brawl. A really strong first fall that ends courtesy of a LIGER BOMB from Liger to Mari. - Segunda Caida: Gran Apache throws Liger to the outside at the beginning of the second fall. A bit of brawling around the outside by the two men as Mari and Hamada duke it out in the ring. Liger swung a chair at Mari, but hit Hamada accidentally. Gran Apache clotheslined him to the outside and hit Hamada with SPLASH MOUNTAIN to win the second fall as a "This is Awesome" chant started. - Tercera Caida: Third fall doesn't last long as it appears Hamada's back got injured on Splash Mountain. Liger takes it to Gran Apache, nailing him with a Shoda, sending him to the outside. Liger turns around into a BRAINBUSTER from Mari Apache, which ends the match at 20:31.
No hype video for the main event. "Hell" by Disturbed plays and Ozz makes his way out to virtually no response at all. The commentators say that Ozz hasn't had a title shot since losing the belt, and he may just be able to pick up the victory tonight.
Abismo Negro's theme hits and Abismo walks out to a big pop from the fans. The commentators say it's been over a decade since Abismo's last title reign, and this could be the night where he finds himself back on top of the mountain.
"Seek and Destroy" by Metallica, and Cibernetico enters to the biggest pop of the night. Arturo Rivera says that's the walk of someone with something to prove, but he won't. Alfonso Morales says that Cibernetico has one thing on his mind: Revenge for his friend Chessman, who La Legion took out.
Mistico's theme hits and he walks out to another good pop. The commentators note that Paco Alonzo made a special exception for Mistico to challenge tonight, because he is not a Heavyweight. Way to explain that one, guys.
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" signals the entrance of the Mega Heavyweight Champion, Silver King. Pretty mixed reaction for Silver. Commentators say that he didn't really win the belt last time out, and that this won't prove anything. Arturo Rivera says that this will prove he's the best wrestler alive. Sure it will.
"Lux Aeterna" + Druids = Mesias entrance. Another big pop. Nothing from the commentators during his entrance. Absolutely nothing. I guess they tried to make the entrance seem more important/epic by not saying anything. It made me think I had something wrong with my TV.
7.) Silver King b. El Mesias, Cibernetico, Abismo Negro, Ozz, Mistico [MEGA HEAVY] - Unica Caida: The match starts out with everybody ganging up on Silver King and Ozz. Really hot crowd with "LET'S GO CIBER" and "EL MESIAS" dueling chants. Pretty obvious who they want to win here. Match goes outside pretty quickly and we get a bunch of assorted chair shots and teased table spots. Silver and Ozz take out Abismo and Mistico, respectively, with chairs. This turns into Ozz and Silver vs. Mesias and Cibernetico. Match got really good at about to 20 minute mark when Mesias put Ozz through a table with the Messiah Splash for a two count. Mesias got driven through a table by Silver and a Wagner Driver. Cibernetico started stalking, setting up for APOCALIPTICA. Just then, Vampiro threw a fireball at him. Konnan, Electroshock, and Team Japan rush ringside and begin beating down Mesias, Abismo, and Mistico, as Silver King pins Cibernetico to retain the championship. Match went 35:39.
The entire LLI locker room spills out to ringside, and we get a HUGE fight between La Legion Extranjera and the LLI roster as the Pay-Per-View went off the air.

As usual, when they go to their own building, it looks like it's going to be a very big night. This is the first show after Night of Champions, and the first of three going into TLC.
Opener is a standard minis relevos match. Should be an alright opener, though it wouldn't shock me to see it get cut from TV. Match will likely lead to another big minis match at TLC, probably with one of the stipulations.
Segunda is new, because Delirious was blacklisted from the company a few years back after losing his mask and refusing to work with Pimpinela. He worked the NOC dark match, so I guess he's back on good terms with the company. Match itself might not be much, but then again, it might.
Third match is the first of four LLI vs. La Legion Extranjera matches. This match is classic Cruisers vs. Cruiser, Heavyweight, and Bigger Heavyweight..wait, that's not a cliche? Well dammit.
Mesias and Abismo will probably lose here. At this point in the angle, it's likely the tecnicos never win.
Semifinal is a big rematch, and if their recent PPV match was anything to go by, it should be a good match and should take up almost the entire second hour of the show. I'm sure the Bucks won't win the belts back here, but it would not shock me if they did.
The mystery dude in the final has to be Chessman. It makes sense given that he was taken out by the Legion, and also this would mean a Hell Brothers reunion. Not sure who else it could be.
Card #823, "SuperEstrellas de Lucha Libre" (TV); Arena LLUSA in Chicago, IL:
1.) Trish Stratus ©, Mickie James, Mari Apache vs. Sara Del Rey ©, Beth Phoenix, Ayako Hamada 2.) Claudio Castagnoli vs. El Hijo de Lizmark vs. Blue Panther 3.) Jack Evans ©, Aerostar, Xtreme Tiger vs. Susumu Yokosuka ©, Jushin Liger, Koji Kanemoto 4.) Tyler Black & Chris Hero vs. Shingo Takagi & Dragon Kid [#1 contenders, INTERNATIONAL TAG]
And the B-show returns to give people purpose in their careers! The opener is a decent sounding women's match, but it's really nothing new. Then again, does anyone really care about the women's division at this point?
Segunda is a random triple threat match. Totally pulling for Blue right here.
Semifinal is a really thrown together match that on paper, should deliver a great match. It's Evans return after being fired back after LuchaMania IX for failing a drug test. Also, it's Kanemoto's return to the promotion. A good looking match altogether.
This is going to be taped after the main show, so this may be a spoiler as to who wins the Tag Title match, meaning it may signal Team DG losing the titles right away. Then again, it could also be one of those matches where Black/Hero would have to beat the champs to get a title shot. Also, anyone else remember when Black and Hero hated each other? And now they're teaming again! Fantastic!
