Dr. Wagner Jr. on Figure Four Daily Recap:
- On Mesias at LuchaMania XIV: "We had a great match, one of the best ever. I think that we had the perfect setting for the match, and we knew that nobody on the card was going to top us."
- On reportedly derailing Brent Albright's original Mega Heavyweight Title run: "Konnan said that? He's pretty full of horses--t if he's saying I'M the guy who screwed Albright over. Brent himself said if he had to lose the belt at the next big show that it wasn't worth it. Konnan was the one who told everybody that Brent didn't deserve to be in a Lucha Libre promotion, and as I understand, he's doing shoot wrestling now."
- On Konnan: "He's an assh--e. He's done everything he could to try to bring that promotion down. He genuinely does not care about anyone but himself. He tried to get Delirious fired long before he did because he didn't like the character. In fact, it was Konnan's idea to unmask him, to humiliate him."
- LuchaMania: "It originally wasn't going to be the big event of the year - that was supposed to be Guerra de Titanes. You know, the War of the Titans. But it got changed to LuchaMania, and we've run it in so many big stadiums, it's impossible to think of it as anything but the big show."
- On Electroshock: "Electro did a great job of keeping everything together while Mesias was injured and I was inactive. Electro is a great wrestler, and I wish we would have had a major program, because I think we could have had a classic match. But for the time he was needed, Electro stepped up and there will never be another one like him."
- On Chessman as Mega Heavyweight Champion: "Chessman is a good wrestler, but I'm not so sure about him as the top guy. I think they should be elevating new guys, and getting guys like Zorro and Ozz back into the main event, because it won't be long, and they'll NEED a new main event scene. But Chessman? Yeah, he's a good champion, but not for what they need right now."
- On wrestling Silver King in a mask match at LuchaMania VIII: "That's my favorite match. We had to go on after a great Andre the Giant vs. El Mesias match, and the crowd in London was very respectful of both of us. I think that it should have happened sooner, and it's a shame we never got to do a rematch."
- On LuchaMania IV: "That was the first time I wasn't in the featured match. I wrestled Eddie Kingston. Eddie was a great wrestler and knew what to do and when to do it, but that night we just didn't click. I think we were better off working against other people."
- LuchaMania III: "That match has been talked about so much, but Mesias and myself have had two better LuchaMania main events than that match. It's a classic match, no doubt, but we've had tougher fights since then."
- On the Lucha Libre Hall of Fame: "It's an honor to be in the first class. I think I've left behind a great legacy, and I hope to one day be the head of Lucha Libre International. For the time being, that's not going to happen."
- On Mil Mascaras at LuchaMania XI: "He didn't seem happy to retire. He's come back since then, but we had a classic match, did an all-time record attendance and as I understand, we did all-time Pay-Per-View business as well. So it was an honor to wrestle Mil and have a classic that was seen by so many people."
- On Retirement: "Yes, I'm officially retired. I was supposed to retire last year, but I got injured and almost called it quits. Then Mesias called me and said "We've got to finish this!" and I worked to come back and I did. We had a great match, and that was that. I'm thankful for my time in the sport, and I'm glad to finally be able to rest."

Lucha News: PPV Name Change, Apuestas PPV Update, Electroshock, more:
- Lucha en Jaula has been changed to Night of Champions. This PPV Concept failed miserably years ago, so I assume it will only do the same here.
- The Apuestas PPV will be a three hour event, starting at 9 PM. This is the latest one of their PPVs has ever went on. Immediately following the show will be BattlARTS 5.
- Electroshock returned to work a dark match at the last Lucha Libre International taping, pinning Billy Boy with the Jumping Tombstone. Electro was said to have been extremely over, and has said he'd like to return to the ring someday.
- Paco Alonzo is pushing for the elevation of more young talent. He's specifically mentioned Elegido, Gronda, Aerostar, Tyler Black, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, and Ozz as the guys he wants to see near the main event by the end of the year. He's also said to be high on Zorro, but that hasn't gotten Zorro anywhere.
- Luchas de Apuestas will air in full in Japan on SamuraiTV. Not a huge deal, but not surprising giving there's a lot of Japanese talent booked on the show.
- The company have thought about bringing back the Mixed Tag titles, as it seems they've figured out that they have a big women's division but aren't using them. The thought is that if they bring the belts back, they can use their female performers more without having them in limbo.
- As announced on the last episode of TV, Silver King is facing Chessman in a Career vs. Title match. The current plan is that Silver King is going to lose so he can retire and fade away. This will likely not change between now and then.
- Next episode of TV will be taped tonight, lineup/thoughts will be up later.

Card #807 (TV); Sportatorium in Dallas, TX
1.) Chris Hero & Cheerleader Melissa vs. Gran y Mari Apache [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] 2.) Aerostar & Daizee Haze vs. Tyler Black & Sara Del Rey [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] 3.) Mistico ©, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson vs. CIMA ©, Dragon Kid, Hiroshi Tanahashi 4.) Gronda II & Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Elegido & Chuck Taylor 5.) El Mesias vs. Takeshi Morishima [bull terrier] 6.) Chessman & Charly Manson vs. Silver King & LA Park [hardcore]
So the report about a Mixed Tag Title tournament was true after all. Sigh, this won't go anywhere. According to SuperLuchas, the finals will be at TLC, so this tournament is going to last a LONG time. The opener looks good, and if memory serves, is Gran Apache's debut match in Lucha Libre International. It's a nothing match, it's not like either team has a chance of winning the entire tournament.
Segunda, on paper, may be match of the night. Everybody in the match is involved in an angle with one another, and that should only help this match out. Not sure who wins this, but I've got a feeling they just might win the whole tournament.
The trios match looks good, except I'm not sure why Mistico is involved except for the obvious fact they needed to get him on TV. I'm guessing La Peste Negra make an appearance and attack Team Japan. At least, I hope they do.
Gronda's cleared to wrestle! This only means bad things for the people watching. I'm not sure just what the hell possessed the bookers to make HIM the guy who saved Mickie from Elegido, but they need to stop it right now. The match is going to be real, real bad.
Semifinal should be a good brawl, just so long as they don't drag this out. Mesias needs to be in the main event challenging for the belt, not in some random nothing match against guys who have no reason to be feuding with him. Then again, have they ever used logic?
Main event is just last week's main, but Chessman has a different partner. Where the hell IS Cibernetico on this episode, anyways? Actually, is he even on the Apuestas PPV card? Way to bring back one of your top tecnicos, Lucha Libre International.

Card #807 (TV); Sportatorium in Dallas, TX
1.) Gran y Mari Apache b. Chris Hero & Cheerleader Melissa [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] - Mari pinned Hero with a BRAINBUSTER. The match was good, but not great. Gran Apache was sort of over, at least moreso than the others in this match.
Backstage, Paco Alonzo is in his office when a staff member says that there's a group of people out in the parking lot, and that Paco should come and see this. Paco goes with the staff member.
2.) Aerostar & Daizee Haze b. Tyler Black & Sara Del Rey [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] - The better of the two quarterfinal matches on this show. A really good match that saw near equal offense from both teams, and the crowd was really into it. Haze pinned Del Rey with THE MIND TRIP. A pretty expected finish, but the quality of the match was certainly unexpected.
Daizee celebrated with both Reina de Reinas at the LWF Women's Championship as Black held Del Rey back.
A video recaps the Young Bucks' match with The Midnight Express at the recent LWF Supershow in Memphis. Video was a few minutes, and the match looked really good.
3.) Mistico ©, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson b. CIMA ©, Dragon Kid, Hiroshi Tanahashi - As was to be expected, the absolute best match on the show. The match moved with a lighting fast pace and didn't let up. CIMA hit Matt Jackson with the MAD SPLASH, leaving only Nick and Mistico. This proved to be more than enough, as Mistico submitted CIMA with LA MISTICA to win the match.
Team DG and Tanahashi started to beat down the tecnicos until Negro Casas, Felino, and Heavy Metal rushed the ring and started brawling with the Japanese wrestlers. The two teams were separated, and Negro Casas could be heard promising to end the careers of the Japanese wrestlers.
Backstage, Arturo Rivera is with Mesias. Mesias says that he thought the problems with Morishima were over, but obviously he was wrong. Mesias says tonight is the beginning of the end for Morishima.
4.) Elegido & Chuck Taylor b. Gronda II & Rey Misterio Jr. - Elegido beat Misterio with a BEARHUG here. Not a very good match, but it was short. Gronda looked bad here, but did manage to get some of his traditional big man offense in on Elegido. They left it wide open by not having them involved in the finish.
After the match, Gronda says he wants Elegido mano-a-mano. This is no longer about Mickie James, it's about proving who the better wrestler is. Well, you both suck so it's a tie! If only it were that easy. Elegido says that Gronda is a loser who is in love with a tramp. But I thought it wasn't about her anymore? Misterio gets the mic and says that he's going to take Elegido's mask at Luchas de Apuestas. The crowd popped, Elegido flipped, and then everybody went to the back.
And then we're taken to the Brackets for the Mixed Tag Title Tournament: REMAINING QUARTERFINAL MATCHES: - Elegido & a partner of his choosing vs. Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada (Card #811) - Gronda II & Mickie James vs. Billy Boy & Daffney (Card #818) SEMIFINAL MATCHES: - Aerostar & Daizee Haze vs. Winners of Quarterfinal from #811 (Lucha en Jaula) - Gran Apache & Mari Apache vs. Winners of Quarterfinal from #818 (Lucha en Jaula) THE FINALS: - Winners of Semifinal #1 vs. Winners of Semifinal #2 (TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs)
5.) El Mesias b. Takeshi Morishima [bull terrier] - This match wasn't much. Morishima beats Mesias down for most of the match, Mesias makes the big comeback, hits the TKO, and taps all four corners to win the match.
Morishima disconnected himself from the chain and starts strangling Mesias. He then throws him over the top, attempting to hang him until a flamethrower toting Abismo Negro runs in and chases him off. Abismo says that he's going to take the Japanese flag, and it will go up in flames at Luchas de Apuestas.
We're then taken to a video announcing an International Trios Tournament, with teams representing Mexico, The United States, Canada, and Japan taking place starting soon. The teams will be announced soon (ie Lucha News to follow)
Before the main event, Silver King gets on the mic and says that people have called him crazy since last week's episode where he said he was betting his career against Chessman. Silver King guarantees that he will beat Chessman. He goes as far as to say that if he CAN'T beat Chessman, then he doesn't deserve to be a wrestler.
6.) Chessman & Charly Manson b. Silver King & LA Park [hardcore] - Actually a pretty good match given the four wrestlers involved and the stipulation. Not much weapon usage outside of Park cracking Charly with the chair every now and again. Match ended when Charly submitted Park to EL POZO.
After the match, Silver King attacked both tecnicos with Park's chair. Silver threw Charly outside through a table that was set up earlier in the night. Silver bodyslams Chessman onto the chair, and hits him with a Moonsault. Silver and Park leave as the cameras survey the damage to end the show.
Card #810, "Luchas de Apuestas" (PPV); Alamodome in San Antonio, TX 1.) Elegido vs. Aerostar, Mistico, Rey Misterio Jr., Tyler Black, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Chuck Taylor [dome, hair, mask] 2.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson vs. Dragon Kid & Shingo Takagi [INTERNATIONAL TAG] 3.) Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal 4.) Daizee Haze vs. Sara Del Rey [reina de reinas, LWF WOMENS] 5.) El Mesias ©, Charly Manson, Abismo Negro vs. Takeshi Morishima ©, Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA [flag] 6.) Nicho "el milonario" vs. Blue Panther, Escoria, Atlantis, Chris Candido, Juventud Guerrera [dome, INTERNATIONAL CRUISER] 7.) Chessman vs. Silver King [MEGA HEAVY, career]

Card #810, "Luchas de Apuestas" (PPV); Alamodome in San Antonio, TX
Live event coverage translated from SuperLuchas.
Pre-Show Notes: - Arena's about 90% full. - The PPV is now a 3 hour, 45 minute PPV. Probably going to see some good, long matches tonight. - Dark Match: Electroshock beat Ultimo Guerrero 2 falls straight. No word on time, or how he won.
No opening video, instead we hear "Seek and Destroy", and Cibernetico makes his way to the ring to start the Pay-Per-View. Cibernetico says he's got a problem with LA Park, and he wants a match right NOW, and he won't leave the ring until he gets one. Pepe Casas runs down to the ring, and "Thriller" plays, and LA Park makes his way down, so I guess we've got an impromptu match!
1.) LA Park b. Cibernetico - Unica Caida: Well, there really wasn't much to this match. Was your typical Cibernetico match of "I cut a promo beforehand, and then we fight for two minutes and it's over". Park pushed Pepe Casas to the side, fouled Ciber, and pinned him to get the win. I can't imagine that this is going to end here. Time on this was about 5:13.
After the match, Park went to get the chair and use it on Cibernetico. He raised the chair up, teasing a shot to Ciber's leg, but La Parka ran in to make the save, clotheslining Park to the outside before helping Cibernetico up. Oh no...not La Parka.
Backstage, Paco Alonzo is in his office when Charly Manson enters. Charly asks Paco what happened last week with the group of people that Paco had to meet in the parking lot. Paco says it's nothing that Charly should worry about. Charly says that if Paco needs any help, he can ask Charly.
The Domo de la Muerte begins to lower as the commentators mention that this is the first Dome match in nearly four years. The irony is that this will probably also be the best one.
Backstage we see Elegido. He says that he will reveal his new, true love in the Mixed Tag Title tournament. Why should we care about this guy again? Can someone tell me?
2.) Chuck Taylor L Elegido, Aerostar, Mistico, Rey Misterio Jr., Tyler Black, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli [dome, hair, mask] - Order of Exit: Tyler Black, Mistico, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Elegido, Rey Misterio Jr, Aerostar. - Unica Caida: Pretty good escape match here. Black got out mad quickly after hitting God's Last Gift on Misterio. Mistico got out after battling at the top of the dome with Elegido. Hero and Claudio escaped simultaneously. The big spot of the match was that Gronda was making his way down as Elegido was exiting, and Elegido dove from the cage to the floor at Gronda. Really big spot, crowd loved it. Misterio left right after that. The ending sequence was great, as Aerostar kicked Taylor in the face, causing Chucky T. to fall to the floor, and letting Aerostar escape with mask in tact. Match went around 22:01.
Taylor got shaved, but they didn't show this on TV as everyone was focused on Gronda and Elegido brawling to the back.
An advertisement for the next Pay-Per-View, which is once again Night of Champions, played before the Tag Title match. I guess the Mixed Tag Title Tournament Finals won't happen at that show, which makes it a 5 match PPV.
3.) Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson b. Dragon Kid & Shingo Takagi [INTERNATIONAL TAG] - Primera Caida: Very much an anti-Japan crowd here. The Bucks took it to Team Dragon Gate in the first fall, hitting them with dives and high impact moves. This meant nothing, however, because Dragon Kid got Matt with the Bermuda Triangle. - Segunda Caida: "Let's Go Bucks" chant gets loud as the bell rings for the second fall. Really short fall, Matt pinned Dragon Kid after MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. - Tercera Caida: Pretty hot crowd going into this fall. Shingo turns the big man beating up the smaller guys shtick up to 11 in this fall, positively mauling the champions. Matt makes the hot tag to Nick, but this is short lived, as Shingo cut him down. The crowd begins to swell as Nick makes a comeback, pinning Shingo with the step-up enzugiri to win the match. Time was 16:30.
In the parking lot, we see LA Park fighting with La Parka. It's pretty easy to tell them apart. The two are hitting each other with chairs and lazily throwing each other into the cars in the parking lot until a bunch of masked guys run up to them and begin beating them down. They get into a big black SUV and speed off as reinforcements arrive.
4.) Jushin Liger ©, CIMA, Hiroshi Tanahashi DQ Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal - Unica Caida: Not sure why this match is one fall, but we'll run with it. Team Japan are getting a ton of heat from the crowd, the fans do NOT want them here. Liger starts taking it to Negro Casas, and for once, the crowd are CHEERING Negro Casas. Heavy Metal gets a chair and blasts Liger with it, putting an end to what was a pretty decent match. Time was around 10:00. No exact time.
Heavy Metal proceeds to lay out the three Japanese wrestlers with the chair as the fans go absolutely insane. Heavy Metal gets on the mic and says that if they want to disrespect Lucha Libre, maybe he should go to Japan and disrespect them. I don't think that's a good idea given you just beat up the Japanese hero in Jushin Liger, Heavy Metal.
A video package recaps the battles that Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze have fought over the years in Lucha Libre International. This is being billed as the biggest women's match in the history of the company, and they might just be right.
5.) Sara Del Rey b. Daizee Haze [reina de reinas, LWF WOMENS] - Primera Caida: I feel bad, because the fans have to see this after a pretty hot match with Team Japan vs. La Peste Negra. Daizee started off hot in the first fall, nearly beating Del Rey with a Yakuza Kick. Del Rey ultimately won the first fall with a German Suplex. - Segunda Caida: Daizee couldn't get it together in this fall. Del Rey beat her all over the ringside area before finally pinning her after a hip attack. Time was 5:25.
We're shown the locker room of Chessman, who later tonight, puts his Mega Heavyweight Championship, as well as his unblemished record in Luchas de Apuestas on the line against Silver King's career. The commentators make not of the fact that Chessman has also never lost a mano-a-mano match to Silver King. I find this funny because I think it's their first mano-a-mano meeting.
6.) El Mesias ©, Charly Manson, Abismo Negro b. Takeshi Morishima ©, Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA [flag] - Unica Caida: Your standard long sub-main event match. Team Japan put up a hell of a good fight here, nearly getting their flag down several times in the first few minutes alone. "Mexico" chants rang throughout the Alamodome, and this seemed to give Team Mexico their second wind, because they made one hell of a Rocky Balboa comeback. Mesias hit Morishima with a TKO before retrieving the flag. You know, this match was nowhere near as bad as I was figuring it would be. Time was about 19:00.
Team Mexico waved the Mexican flag in the corner as Abismo tore the Japanese flag and threw it over the top rope at Team Japan.
Backstage, Paco Alonzo is freaking out. He runs into Cibernetico, who is still recovering from the match earlier in the night. Paco asks Ciber for his help, because he thinks the people who attacked Park and Parka aren't really gone, and that they're here in the building. Ciber says he hasn't seen any suspicious people. Paco says that's his point exactly. Ciber asks Paco what the hell is going on...
We go back to the arena, where we see the Domo de la Muerte being lowered for the second time tonight. The commentators mention that this is the semifinal match (no crap) and may be one of the most important Cruiserweight Championship matches ever (no).
7.) Nicho "el milonario" b. Blue Panther, Escoria, Atlantis, Chris Candido, Juventud Guerrera [dome, INTERNATIONAL CRUISER] - Unica Caida: Not as good as the first dome match tonight, but still a good match. Candido had his shoulder taped up, which begged the question why he was even working this match. Juventud got the biggest reaction of the match, which was shocking given Atlantis' involvement. Nicho got out of the cage first to retain the title. Time was 13:39.
After a video recapping Chessman's current Mega Heavyweight Title reign, the lights dim down, and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" hits as Silver King makes his way to the ring to a pretty huge reaction. The commentators note that this is his second Apuestas match in Lucha Libre International. They mention that six years ago at LuchaMania, Silver King lost his mask to his brother, Dr. Wagner Jr. They say that Silver King has never won the Mega Heavyweight Championship in a big fight atmosphere, and that tonight may be the biggest night of Silver's career.
The lights go red as "Feuer frei!" by Rammstein begins to play. Fire spews from the stage as Chessman makes his way out. The commentators say that conversely from Silver King, Chessman has never lost a bet match. They say that Chessman out of the last 5 LuchaManias, has main evented three of them, all three of which were Mega Heavyweight Championship matches. The big fight atmosphere is brought up again, and they say that Chessman personifies a big match performer.
8.) Silver King b. Chessman [MEGA HEAVY, career] - Primera Caida: The crowd's pretty hot for the main event, and actually seem split between Chessman and Silver King. They started with an attempt at a ras de lona style mat contest, but when that failed horribly, they started throwing bombs. A really good first fall that ended with a MOONSAULT from Silver King, putting him up 1-0. - Segunda Caida: An "OLE!" chant for Chessman goes out as he fights to stay alive in the second fall. A missed plancha nearly gets Chessman counted out. Silver King sends him back to the outside and hits him with a Silver King Dive. Both make it in at the absolute last second. Chessman ducks a SILVER KICK and hits a Powerbomb, followed by a 450 SPLASH to win the second fall, evening the score at 1-1. - Tercera Caida: Both guys can barely stand as the third fall, possibly the final fall of Silver King's career begins. Chessman knees Silver in the stomach and puts him into the ring post in the corner, causing Silver to fall to the outside. Chessman launches Silver into the crowd with a clothesline, and the two brawl briefly through the crowd and back to the ring. Chessman hits a powerbomb for a near fall, and signals for the 450 Splash. As he's going up, Konnan jumps the rail and throws powder in Chessman's eyes while El Hijo del Perro Aguayo distracts the referee. Chessman falls to the mat, and Silver King covers Chessman for a three count to win his third Mega Heavyweight Championship. Time was 38 minutes.
Silver King celebrated with Konnan, Perrito, and the masked guys who attacked Park and Parka earlier in the night as we're shown a shot of backstage with Mesias, Cibernetico, Charly Manson, Aerostar, Rey Misterio Jr, among others laid out to end the show.

And now for the obvious news..
- Last night, several hooded wrestlers lead by Konnan and Perro Aguayo Jr. laid out a majority of the Lucha Libre International roster, main event guys included. Nobody in the company was told who they were, or that they were even going to be there. The only people we know of that are involved in the faction right now are Konnan and El Hijo del Perro Aguayo. They helped Silver King win the belt from Chessman, so maybe he's involved as well.
- Chuck Taylor lost the hair match last night. This is because he's going to be wrestling under a mask in LWF: Smokey Mountain Wrestling. No word on his name in that promotion.
- The Pay-Per-View did an incredible 790,000 buyrate. This is the third highest buyrate since LuchaMania 12, with the two in front of it being LuchaMania XIV and LuchaMania 13. The company feels like the card was good enough on its own, but the prospect of it being Silver King's final night is what ultimately made everyone tune in.
- Paco Alonzo is pushing to get the Mixed Tag Title tournament finals on Night of Champions. This means rushing the hell out of the quarterfinals and semifinals.
- Paco is also high on doing an International Trios Tournament, as noted in an earlier Lucha News post. That idea has ultimately been scrapped, and it's just going to be a general Trios tournament on the Pay-Per-View that was originally titled War Zone. The show is now called Rey de Trios, or King of Trios.
- The idea behind the Gronda/Elegido feud at this point is that they are trying to get them over as potential main event guys so they can sell the idea of a mask match at LuchaMania XIV. I wouldn't even bother personally, since it's not like their masks mean anything. They're currently in a tag feud of sorts where Elegido is revealing his new girlfriend on the next episode of TV. Everyone I have talked to is expecting it to be Beth Phoenix.
- This year will be the first year in five that there will not be an Elimination Chamber match. They've scrapped the idea for that, and at Verano de Escandalo, are considering doing a Royal Rumble match instead of the Elimination Chamber. Other ideas that have been thrown around were a big ladder match to determine the #1 contender to the Mega Heavyweight Championship, as well as the Grand Prix, and a Steel Cage Match. No word on what they're ACTUALLY going to do.
- Silver King signed a one year extension to his contract, according to sources. This means he's going to be around through the first PPV of next year. Retirement match at LuchaMania, anyone? I think so.
- Mickie James may be retiring soon as many in the company can tell she's not focused on her in-ring career anymore. She's currently in a midcard Mixed Tag title angle, and is said to be frustrated with not having any real opponents to face anymore. A ruda turn has been discussed, but they just did that. Her contract is good through LuchaMania XV, she is not expected to re sign.

It's about to get rowdy in LLI! I LOVED the PPV write-up, Switch; good detail, to the point, and I liked how it was a SuperLuchas article. That adds realism. Also, VIVA LOS MEXICANOS Y GRINGOS (Bucks)! Japan doesn't know what they're messing with. Funniest moment, La Parka and Park lazily fighting. Some of Parka's stuff in Triple A seems very lazy.
By the way, I've named my lucha fed, Dioses Nuevos del la Lucha Libre - DNLL - New Gods of Lucha Libre.

Things are indeed about to get rowdy in LLI.

Card #811 (TV); Toyota Center in Houston, TX
1.) Elegido & ? vs. Jushin Liger & Ayako Hamada [torneo, MIXED TAG, quarterfinal] 2.) Tyler Black ©, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli vs. CIMA ©, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Susumu Yokosuka 3.) Nick Jackson ©, Matt Jackson, Mickie James, Octagoncito vs. Dragon Kid ©, Shingo Takagi, Daffney, Mini Abismo Negro 4.) Aerostar ©, Rey Misterio Jr, Mistico vs. Negro Casas ©, Felino, Heavy Metal [#1 contenders, NATIONAL TRIOS] 5.) El Mesias & Cibernetico vs. Silver King & Electroshock 6.) Chessman & Charly Manson vs. ? & ?
Pretty big TV taping here. We've got the third of the four quarterfinals in the Mixed Tag Title tournament, which is apparently going to end at Night of Champions. Elegido's partner has been subject of a lot of debate lately, and I'm still going with what my sources have told me, Beth Phoenix. They'll probably beat Team Japan here, even though Team Japan advancing wouldn't be a bad move.
Kings of Wrestling and Black vs. Team Japan in the Segunda is another pretty interesting match. On one hand, it's not a contenders match, but the winners easily could overthrow the guys in the contenders match to get the title shot. Should be a great match.
Atomicos match hints that the minis title match will be the same one we're used to seeing with Octagoncito and Mini Abismo, probably challenging Mini Charly in a three way, though I'm kind of hoping for another four way for the minis title.
Trios contenders match could go either way. Peste Negra can't face Team Japan at the next PPV since it's Night of Champions, so I think the tecnicos take this one.
Electroshock is back on TV! This match will probably do nothing in the way of determining Silver's first challenger in his title reign. Should be a decent main event.
I'm assuming Chessman and Charly are facing either Konnan and Perrito, or two of the masked guys from the PPV. I'm hoping the way they wrestle can at least shed some light on who they are. Oh who am I kidding, things are never that easy.
An interesting TV taping coming up to say the least.
