Congrats to Timber on a great run! Not such a great idea for John Pesek to get on the wrong side of the Heenan Family- it's only going to get worse for him.

Thanks for the comments Crimson and Daytondave. I was shocked with the bWo beating the Tolos Brothers as I expected a different result but that is what makes the game so much fun. I was hoping to see Timber continue his run but at the same time it was great seeing Duggan win the gold. Next up is action from PCW...
LOW Pacific Coast Wrestling - McNichols Arena - Denver, CO (Card #847)
1) Texas Hangmen defeated Chief Omega & Jim Powers: A solid opening match saw the popular ASW tandem of Chief Omega & Jim Powers do battle with the Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho). The Hangmen have been on a good roll of late but they were nearly upended here. Powers scored a big near fall on Psycho with a dropkick after Omega laid him out with a karate chop. Psycho hit back with a fury delivering a running powerslam on Omega for a two count. He and Killer then laid out Powers with the neckbreaker and falling sledge. The finish saw the Hangmen deliver the Hangmen Backbreaker on Powers with Killer covering him to score the pin.
2) Dutch Savage defeated Mr. X: It was a successful PCW debut for the popular Dutch Savage as he defeated Mr. X appearing courtesy of ASW. The still winless Mr. X was unable to mount any kind of attack here as Savage dominated. The “Master of the Coal Miner’s Glove Match” made quick work of Mr. X and pinned him with the devastating Running Piledriver.
3) Lash Leroux defeated The Sandman by DQ: The “Rajin Cajun” Lash Leroux faced a tough battle in the form of The Sandman in this match. The Sandman dominated most of the action including scoring a near fall with a legdrop. He also came off of the second rope (ch, deathjump) with a double axe handle and nailed Leroux with the Heinekenrana. Leroux made a comeback and hit the twisting Northern Lights suplex prompting The Sandman to bail out of the ring. Leroux followed and The Sandman roughed him up including hitting him several times with the Singapore Cane resulting in a snake eyes disqualification. Leroux was saved from further attack by Brian Kendrick with The Sandman retreating to the back while drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette.
4) Don Leo Jonathan & Pepper Gomez defeated Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons: The “Mormon Giant” Don Leo Jonathan & Pepper Gomez joined forces to take on Sharpe Sports Agency, Inc. members the “Flying Redheads” Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons who had manager-wrestler “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe at ringside. The competition was intense in this bout with both sides looking to take control. It was pretty evenly contested, though, and highlights included Jonathan executing the rolling back splash and Lyons using the rolling reverse cradle. The finishing sequence saw Gomez catch Lyons with a dropkick before executing the Mexican Cradle to score a snake eyes pin. The crowd cheered the big victory by Jonathan and Gomez as Sharpe went ballistic at ringside. He grabbed the mic and said that the win by Jonathan and Gomez was a “fluke” and said that a rematch would prove that. Jonathan and Gomez quickly agreed to it and the two teams will square off again when PCW rolls into San Diego, CA (Card #855).
5) P.N. News defeated Tom Prichard: The “Rapmaster” P.N. News took on Dr. Tom Prichard in what was a good hard hitting bout. Early exchanges were pretty even before Prichard stunned News with an enzuigiri and then impressively executed a slingshot suplex on the 403 ½-pounder. News bounced back and executed the Broken Record off of the top rope for a big near fall. Prichard somehow got his shoulder up before the three count prompting News to question the referee about the count. The two fought out to the floor several times and narrowly avoided a disqualification decision. News took over going into the home stretch and stunned Prichard with a belly-to-belly suplex before delivering a Fireman’s Carry Suplex to score a snake eyes pin. The third consecutive snake eyes decision led to some post-match hijinks as The Sandman joined Prichard attacking News until Brian Kendrick ran down. Kendrick and News traded blows with The Sandman and Prichard until LOW officials were able to get things under control.
6) Playboy Buddy Rose & Dewey Robertson defeated Tommy & Doug Gilbert: Grudge tag team action saw the father-and-son team of Tommy & Doug Gilbert take on Playboy Buddy Rose & Dewey Robertson of Sharpe Sports Agency, Inc. Larry Sharpe was at ringside for his men and watched nervously as Doug hit the Top Rope Shoulder Ram on Rose for a big near fall in the early going with Robertson making the save. Tommy looked good in his time in as he battered both men with brawling punches and the running knee lift. Doug likewise showed great fire against the man who betrayed him, Robertson, to join SSA, Inc. Rose turned things around and nailed Doug with a gut wrench backbreaker and locked on a half Boston Crab for a submission chance. Robertson then struck back and caught Tommy with a counter cradle hold for a near fall before trapping him in the Figure Four Leglock. Doug tried to break it up but was got off by Rose as Sharpe reached in holding the hands of Robertson adding to the pressure of the hold. The referee failed to see the interference by Sharpe and Tommy was forced to concede the match giving the SSA, Inc. team the victory via submission.
7) The Grappler, Ray Stevens, & Fritz Von Goering defeated Jimmy Snuka, Roddy Piper, & Randy Savage by DQ: Incredible six-man tag team action saw Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper join forces with freelance star “Macho Man” Randy Savage to take on the trio of The Grappler, Ray “The Crippler” Stevens, and Fritz Von Goering. The all-star team of Snuka, Piper, and Savage had the crowd whipped into a frenzy as they hit the ring to take on The Grappler and his partners. Snuka dominated the masked man early and laid him out with a piledriver. Piper tagged in and went to town on both The Grappler and Stevens. He whipped Stevens upside down into the corner and then trapped him in a figure four leglock. A tag to Savage saw the “Macho Man” use the knee drop and the running knee to the back to take control. Von Goering had no more luck than his partners and was also on the receiving end of some punishing attacks. One of those attacks saw Snuka lose his cool as he battered Von Goering on the outside and wound up running him head first into the ring post. The referee then called for the bell and awarded the victory to The Grappler, Stevens and Von Goering via disqualification much to the dismay of the crowd. Piper and Savage took out Stevens and The Grappler post-match allowing Snuka to deliver the Superfly on a prone Von Goering which brought the previously unhappy crowd to its feet.
8) LOW World tag team titles: Sabu & Rob Van Dam© defeated Love Brothers to retain the titles: The main event saw the Love Brothers (Reginald & Hartford Love), who have become popular performers in PCW, attempt to win the LOW World tag team titles as they faced defending champions Sabu & Rob Van Dam who were accompanied by their whistle blowing manager Bill Alfonso. Sabu struck early with the controversial Arabian Facebuster on Reginald for a near fall. He also locked on the Camel Clutch going for the submission but Hartford made the save. Hartford turned things around for the Love Brothers using the Boston Crab on Sabu for a submission chance. Reginald followed with the Atomic Drop scoring a two count on Sabu. RVD tagged in and looked great including hitting the controversial Van Daminator on Reginald for a near fall. Reginald was busted open by the chair assisted move and left in a bad way for the remainder of the match. The finish saw RVD stun Reginald with the split legged moonsault followed by a Standing Moonsault to score the pin. It was a successful version four defense of the titles for Sabu & RVD who showed great class post-match by shaking hands with the Love Brothers. Reginald, covered in blood, had to be helped out of the ring by Hartford and the crowd gave them a nice ovation for their effort in trying to win the LOW World tag team titles.

It's cool seeing the Texas Hangmen with a victory, the same for Lash even though it was via disqualification. That Snuka is a dirty wrestler, LOL! That was a cool match, but I do like that the Grappler, Stevens & FVG won. Another fun event up in the Pacific, great stuff Crue...

SHIMMER - Women Athletes - The Eagles Club - Berwyn, IL (Card #848)
1) Penny Banner, Rockin Robin, Daizee Haze, & Tomoka Nakagawa defeated Nora Greenwald, Joyce Grable, Veda Scott, & Su Young: Atomicos action kicked things off as Penny Banner, Rockin Robin, Daizee Haze and Tomoka Nakagawa joined forces to do battle with former SHIMMER tag team champions Nora Greenwald & Joyce Grable along with Veda Scott and Su Young. Banner led her team into a strong performance here as they dominated most of the way. She scored a big near fall with her trademark Sunset Flip on Grable and gave way to Robin who shined on offense. Nakagawa looked great as well and nearly pinned Grable after delivering a basement dropkick. Things broke down near the end and it was Grable again on the defensive as Banner caught her with the Airplane Swing to score the pin.
2) Mercedes Martinez defeated Sumie Sakai: Sumie Sakai had a tough task as she faced former SHIMMER champion Mercedes Martinez. The “Latina Sensation” looked like she had something to prove as she jumped Sakai during the ring introductions and went on to dominate the match. She punished Sakai with such moves as the 3 Amigas and the brainbuster, the latter of which led to a near fall. Sakai made a fiery comeback late, including hitting the fisherman buster, but was cut off by Martinez who planted her with her own deadly version of the Fisherman Buster to score the pin. Amber Gertner caught up with Martinez at ringside post-match and she cut a scathing promo saying that she is the true number one contender and unlike Jazz she is the real “Head b**** in charge” of SHIMMER. Gertner took that to mean a challenge had been thrown down to which Martinez replied that if Jazz wanted to do something about it they could meet on the next SHIMMER card.
3) Mildred Burke & Thunderkitty defeated Athena & Courtney Rush: The “super friends” of SHIMMER, Athena & Courtney Rush, teamed up to face the formidable team of Mildred Burke & Thunderkitty in what turned out to be a show stealing match. Athena has been looking for a breakthrough victory and although she didn’t achieve that here her performance made everyone take notice. The strong duo of Burke and Thunderkitty, teaming for the first time, went to work on Athena mid-match and got the heat on her for an extended stretch. Burke hit the Sunset Flip for a near fall and then applied the Alligator Clutch but somehow Athena fought out of the punishing hold. Thunderkitty then used the Sleeper Hold on Athena but she was able to get to the ropes for a break. Rush tagged in and did well including hitting the T-Bone suplex and top rope crossbody. She set up Thunderkitty for Athena who hit the O-Face for a spectacular near fall. Another offensive by Burke saw her blast Athena with a forearm uppercut and go for the pin but she kicked out to a big pop from the crowd. Athena was busted open by that point and in a bad way as Burke gave way to Thunderkitty. The solidly built Gulfport, MS, native locked the Iron Claw on Athena before transitioning into a Back Suplex to score the pin. The bloody Athena was helped up by Rush post-match as the crowd cheered her on and even Burke and Thunderkitty took a moment to pay her some respect for the hard fought match.
4) Jessicka Havok defeated Lufisto by DQ: A highly anticipated one-on-one battle saw the “Super Hardcore Anime” Lufisto take on Jessica Havok, who is aptly nicknamed “The Havok Death Machine”. Lufisto was coming off a big Battle Royal win on the last SHIMMER card and was looking to be the first to defeat the thus far unstoppable Havok. Early action saw Havok miss with a big boot and Lufisto followed locking on a rear naked choke. Havok escaped by bailing out of the ring and Lufisto followed to continue the battle. Lufisto lost control and ran Havok head first into the ring post before slamming a chair across her back. Just like that it was over and Havok won it by disqualification but the two continued battling post-match until LOW officials were able to separate them.
5) Sassy Stephie & Nevaeh defeated Cherry Bomb & Evie by DQ: A grudge tag team match saw Cherry Bomb & Evie go against Sassy Stephie & Nevaeh coming off Stephie and Nevaeh having put Cherry Bomb out of action for a few weeks with an injury. Stephie and Nevaeh jumped Cherry Bomb and Evie at ringside getting this one off to a wild start. Stephie ran Cherry Bomb into the ring post and then punished her with the Sass Squash and Underhook DDT. Nevaeh tagged in and nailed Cherry Bomb with the sliding lariat as Evie desperately reached in for the tag. Cherry Bomb was unable to make the tag before the battle went back out to the floor where she lost control going after both Stephie and Nevaeh. The referee tried in vain to restore order but Cherry Bomb picked up a chair and assaulted both opponents before Evie was able to drag her away. The end result was a very painful disqualification win for Stephie and Nevaeh who no doubt will remember this revenge attack from Cherry Bomb. SHIMMER promoter Dave Prazak spoke with Amber Gertner at ringside following the match and ordered a rematch between the two teams on the next card under No DQ rules drawing cheers from the crowd.
6) Saraya Knight defeated Tina Moretti by Count Out: The fiery Tina Moretti out of Seattle, WA, has made no bones about the fact that she wants a shot at the SHIMMER championship. Standing in her way on this night was another top contender in the form of the double tough Saraya Knight out of Norwich, England. Early action saw Moretti stun Knight with a legdrop and go for the pin resulting in a big near fall. Knight battled back and trapped Moretti in the Bridled Rocking Horse, a grounded stretch hold, nearly resulting in a submission victory. Knight took it up a notch when she repeatedly tossed Moretti out of the ring and assaulted her. Moretti barely beat the ten count back into the ring the first time but the second time, after Knight had dropped her throat first on the guard rail, resulted in a snake eyes count out win for Knight. A disappointed Moretti was interviewed by Amber Gertner afterward and she gave a passionate speech to the crowd about her goals in SHIMMER. She said that Knight was as tough as they come but she will go through her and anyone else to get her shot at the title drawing cheers from the crowd.
7) SHIMMER tag team titles: Cheerleader Melissa & Sara Del Ray© defeated Lacey & Rain to retain the titles: The first title defense for Cheerleader Melissa & Sara Del Ray came against a former championship team in the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (Lacey & Rain) who rank second behind the Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai & Judy Martin) and Del Ray & Daizee Haze on the title defense list with five successful defenses. Lacey and Rain were bound and determined to regain the gold especially with Melissa and Del Ray having limited experience as a team. Melissa selected Del Ray as her partner to defend the titles after winning them from Nora Greenwald & Joyce Grable in a Steel Cage Match, also involving the Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews) and Sherri Martel, where all the championships were at stake on the last SHIMMER card. The Ninjas made their way to ringside to observe the action and seemed very upset as Melissa won the tag team gold in that unique match. Things broke down after Melissa nailed Lacey with the Kudoh Driver which set off a four-way brawl. The referee was able to clear things up and Del Ray tagged in trapping Lacey in the Royal Butterfly which she turned into a powerslam scoring the pin as Melissa prevented Rain from making the save. The crowd cheered the victory by Melissa and Del Ray as the Ninjas looked on with disdain. That disdain grew even more as Melissa told Amber Gertner that she and Del Ray will be the champions for a long time to come.
8) SHIMMER title: Sherri Martel© defeated MsChif to retain the title: The highly anticipated main event saw the “Goth-banshee” MsChif take on Sherri Martel for the SHIMMER title coming off a major incident on a recent edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling (Card #841). Martel was on the broadcast for an interview when MsChif ran out to save announcer Lance Russell from a possible physical attack by the champion. MsChif then embarrassed Martel by literally tearing the shirt off of her back and spraying green mist in her eyes. Local reporters caught up with Martel afterward and she vowed to destroy MsChif and retire her from SHIMMER. Martel was very aggressive from the opening bell and nearly pinned MsChif with a counter cradle hold off of the ropes. She followed with an attack on the floor and then delivered the Top Rope Splash but MsChif kicked out at two. MsChif began to fight back with stinging kicks in the corner and clubbing forearm blows. She also threw in some big chops for good measure. She had Martel reeling until going for a drop toe hold as Martel countered out and came back with a big running Clothesline to score the pin. It was a shocking finish as Martel, a record eight-time champion, retained the title in her version two defense of the championship.
Martel gloated over her win and taunted MsChif with the title belt until the “Goth-banshee” had enough and sprayed her again with the green mist in the eyes! She then pounced on Martel and battered her with punches before attempting to tear up her wrestling gear but LOW officials ran in and pulled her off. Nora Greenwald & Joyce Grable also ran down and pulled the dazed and green colored champion out of the ring dragging her to the back. MsChif broke away from the officials and grabbed the title belt which Martel had left behind. Amber Gertner, SHIMMER promoter Dave Prazak and Christina Von Eerie, the regular tag team partner of MsChif, showed up and convinced MsChif to hand over the championship but it was under one condition and that was she wanted a return match with Martel. Prazak agreed to it but then MsChif said that it had be under her rules and that was a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Prazak said that she could have a rematch but it would be up to Martel to accept those conditions. Martel, accompanied by Greenwald and Grable, came back out and said that MsChif could have that match under one condition. Prazak said that he could arrange whatever it took to make the match and Martel said that she would agree to a Falls Count Anywhere Match for the championship but that if MsChif loses she will have to leave SHIMMER. The crowd was buzzing over that and MsChif didn’t hesitate to accept saying that she will again humiliate Martel and beat her to take the title. Prazak then made the match and stipulations official for the next SHIMMER card in Berwyn, IL (Card #858) to cheers from the crowd.

The ladies action was fun stuff and it's always good to see the defending Champions retain, but too bad Lacey & Rain lost their shot at the titles...
