Lots of carnage in this one! Mercedes and MsChif both left laying- that's intense! Saraya and Jessicka Havock together is just plain scary. Strong work! Thanks Daytondave, sometimes the SHIMMER action is more out of control than my other territories. Saraya and Havok together is pretty scary I must also admit. Not sure if they will team regularly but if they do they will likely pose a threat to the tag titles. I was sorry to see MsChif go but the dice didn't roll in her favor there and Sherri got the big win. Hope to have another show posted soon.

CHIKARA - Planes, Trains and Automobiles - The Palmer Center - Easton, PA (Card #859)
1) Mr. Touchdown defeated Gregory Iron: With the announcement that the IWA is coming, competitors in both CHIKARA and Ring of Honor are looking to impress in order to earn a spot on the inaugural roster and that was evident in this opening match between the “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron and Mr. Touchdown. The underdog Iron took a ton of punishment, including the Extra Point, but somehow kept kicking out. He then caught Touchdown with Handicapped Parking for a big near fall. A frustrated Touchdown stormed back and executed the Flea Flicker, a backdrop into an Ace Crusher, to score the pin.
2) 3.0 & Brutus Beefcake vs. The Batiri was a DDQ: Trios action saw 3.0 (Scott “Jagged” Parker & “Big Magic” Shane Matthews) team up with Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake to battle The Batiri (Obariyon, Kodama, & Kobald). Both sides looked good in stretches during this bout which included Kobald scoring a near fall on Matthews with the Top Rope Seated Senton. A key spot saw Kodama miss with a running senton over the ropes on Parker. That led to Parker tossing him back inside and executing the Flash Roll-Up for a near fall. Beefcake has been adapting very well to the CHIKARA style and he was also very effective in this match helping to set up The Batiri for several offensive runs by 3.0. In the end it was all six men battling it out on the ring after Kodama had Matthews pinned with a corner cannonball dropkick. Parker broke it up and everyone began slugging it out forcing the referee to call for the bell and rule it a double disqualification.
3) Ultramantis Black defeated Gran Akuma: Two of the top contenders for the 12-Large Grand championship met in this bout as Ultramantis Black took on Gran Akuma. The early action was dominated by Akuma who laid out Ultramantis with the Falcon Arrow and then hit the Rubik’s Cube, an electric chair driver, scoring a two count. Ultramantis got back into it and hit the devastating Cosmic Disaster, a suplex dropped into a reverse piledriver, shaking up Akuma. An Argentine facebuster resulted in a two count for Ultramantis before this one went to the floor. Ultramantis gained the advantage and left Akuma in a bad way after sending him over the guard rail with a back bodydrop. Akuma struggled to make it back inside and Ultramantis was quick to take advantage executing the Praying Mantis Bomb to score the pin. The crowd cheered the victory by the leader of the Order of the Neo Solar Temple who no doubt has his sights set on a championship opportunity.
4) Tursas & Brodie Lee defeated Crossbones & Hydra by DQ: Crossbones & Hydra, members of the Order of the Neo Solar Temple headed by Ultramantis Black, took on the titanic Dark Menace-led team of Tursas & Brodie Lee in a grudge match. Tursas was looking for revenge after Hydra scored a fall on him in a trios match on the last CHIKARA event in El Monte, CA (Card #849). Tursas took out his aggression on Crossbones in the early going and laid him out with a standing powerslam. A tag to Hydra saw the “well muscled” 133-pounder go toe-to-toe with the 375-pound Tursas but he was quickly laid out with a Black Hole Slam. Tursas took great delight in punishing Hydra until he was nailed with a counter flying tackle off of the ropes. That allowed Hydra to tag out and Crossbones entered striking Tursas with an enzuigiri scoring a two count. The action subsequently went to the outside where Crossbones got disqualified snake eyes style for hitting Tursas with a chair. All four men were battling it out afterward when CHIKARA Director of Fun Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana, watching from the Commentation Station, got on the mic and ordered a return match under No Disqualification rules on the next card.
5) The Colony defeated Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, & Hallowicked: Prior to the start of this trios match between The Colony (Fire Ant, Soldier Ant, & Green Ant) and CHIKARA 12-Large Grand champion Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Hallowicked there was a tense situation involving the “War King” Eddie Kingston. The former 12-Large Grand champion, who lost the belt to Quackenbush on the prior card in El Monte, CA (Card #849), entered through the crowd and confronted him. He grabbed the mic from ring announcer Gavin Loudspeaker and said that the CHIKARA founder and 12-Large Grand champion was a “phony” who used his pull to steal the title from him. Amazingly some in the crowd agreed and cheered on as Kingston continued his verbal tirade. Quackenbush has been a lightning rod of controversy recently due to taking a belligerent attitude after a loss to Mister ZERO and then targeting the equally popular Kingston. Colt Cabana entered the ring to get in between them and said that as the former champion Kingston deserves a rematch and he will get it on the next card in Brooklyn, NY (Card #869) which pleased the “War King”. Quackenbush said he had no problem with that and that he will take down Kingston in his own backyard since Kingston hails from nearby Yonkers, NY. That set off Kingston who went after Quackenbush but he wound up being restrained by The Colony and Cabana before LOW officials moved in to lead him to the back.
As for the match, both sides looked great and the crowd was going back and forth in their support of the teams. Quackenbush looked in prime form as he held control late in the match dominating against Fire Ant. All of that changed, however, when Kingston returned and provided a distraction allowing Fire Ant to take over. Fire Ant then caught a surprised Quackenbush with the Beach Break and scored the pin as Soldier Ant and Green Ant prevented Jigsaw and Hallowicked from making the save. The crowd cheered the huge win by Fire Ant as did Kingston who got one over on his rival. Quackenbush was none too pleased and had to be held back by Jigsaw and Hallowicked from going after a taunting Kingston. Cabana returned to ringside and made a huge announcement saying that the winner of Kingston vs. Quackenbush would then have to defend the title against either Fire Ant or Ultramantis Black who will meet in Brooklyn to determine a new number one contender.
6) Mil Mascaras & Dragon Dragon defeated Mister ZERO & Jushin Liger: A feature tag team attraction saw the unique pairing of Mil Mascaras & Dragon Dragon taking on the equally unique pairing of Mister ZERO and his mystery partner, Kings Road United star Jushin “Thunder” Liger. The crowd erupted in cheers as Liger entered the arena as he was an unexpected surprise. This match came about after Dragon Dragon interfered in a singles match between Mascaras and ZERO inadvertently causing Mascaras to be disqualified. The crowd was at a fever pitch for this one especially when the highly decorated Mascaras and Liger squared off. Mascaras is a record seven-time LOW World Heavyweight champion while Liger has also had seven reigns as the LOW Junior Heavyweight champion. The early action saw Mascaras surprise ZERO with his patented Flying Bodypress but Liger was able to make the save. Liger then went at Mascaras nailing him with a Tombstone Piledriver followed by the shoda, his trademark running palm strike to the face. Mascaras was able to recover and surprised Liger with a Slingshot Plancha into an inside cradle hold to score a snake eyes pin. ZERO was visibly frustrated post-match and took it out on Liger verbally before being unceremoniously dumped out of the ring by Dragon Dragon! The crowd popped for that and cheered wildly as Mascaras, Dragon and Liger shook hands in a show of respect following the bout.
7) Young Lions Cup: Frightmare© defeated Shane Storm to retain the title: The Young Lions Cup was at stake as the popular Frightmare defended the title against the equally popular Shane Storm. It was the first title opportunity for Storm since arriving in CHIKARA and he was bound and determined to take the gold home. Frightmare, a three-time holder of the championship, was making his version one defense after having regained it in a torrid two-match rivalry with Ring of Honor star Tyler Black (Card #839 in Cleveland, OH). Frightmare used his great speed to take control early and surprised Storm with such moves as the Frightensteiner and Super Frankensteiner. Storm weathered the storm, so to speak, and struck back with the jackhammer and attempted to set up for his finisher, That Japanese Move. Unfortunately for Storm he never could hit it and Frightmare delivered the Fright Crusher for a two count followed by the Kneecolepsy to score the pin and retain the title. Both men shook hands afterward drawing cheers from the crowd.
8) Campeonatos de Parejas: F.I.S.T. defeated Osirian Portal (2-1) to win the titles: The main event saw the Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) making their version one defense of the Campeonatos de Parejas against the tough challenge of F.I.S.T., the trio comprised of Icarus, Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano. CHIKARA Director of Fun Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana and Senior Referee Bryce Remsburg were seen discussing the match as ring announcer Gavin Loudspeaker made the introductions. Cabana then took the mic and said that F.I.S.T. needed to announce the two men who would be competing in the match. They got together and wound up doing a rock, paper and scissors game to big laughs from the crowd. It was decided that Icarus and Taylor would be competing in the match and that led to Cabana ordering Gargano to the back. Gargano refused at first but was then escorted to the locker room by LOW officials drawing cheers from the crowd.
First Fall: The opening fall had a little bit of everything as both teams left it all out there in the ring. It was an exhausting back and forth battle featuring some big near falls and even a referee bump as Remsburg went down from a top rope collision with Taylor. There was even a DANCE OFF! at one point with the Portal getting the better of the F.I.S.T. members. Late in the fall another missed dive by Taylor from the top rope saw Ophidian execute a cradle hold for a near fall. Icarus bounced back for his team and nearly scored a submission on Amasis with the Wings of Icarus. He then hit the Blu-Ray on Ophidian for another near fall. Ophidian likewise used the Death Grip to great effect on both opponents during the course of the fall. All four men were pretty much spent going into the home stretch which saw Ophidian catch Taylor with the Top Rope Double Knee Attack to score the pin. The Osirian Portal took a 1-0 lead in the match meaning that F.I.S.T. were going to have to regroup in the second fall in order to pose a threat to the championship.
Second Fall: For as long as the opening fall took the second fall was over in a flash. Taylor shot out of the gate with a running dropkick but Ophidian moved out of the way. Ophidian then went for the Cobra Clutch Suplex but Taylor elbowed his way out of it and blasted him with a Jumping Big Boot to score the pin. Amasis was just late in making the save and F.I.S.T. evened things up at 1-1 to set up a pivotal third fall of championship action.
Third Fall: The deciding fall saw some more great action including Icarus scoring a near submission on Amasis with the Wings of Icarus. The Portal struck back and it was Ophidian hitting the Duat Driver on Icarus for a big near fall with Taylor making the save by pulling Remsburg out of the ring. The official was none too pleased with that but the desperation move by Taylor saved F.I.S.T. from defeat. In the closing moments of a heated fall Icarus caught Ophidian with the Emerald Flosion and followed up with the Blu-Ray to score the pin as Taylor prevented Amasis from making a save. That gave F.I.S.T. a 2-1 decision victory capping off a great comeback making them the new Campeonatos de Parejas. Most in the crowd jeered the decision but also showed some respect as the Portal shook hands with Icarus and Taylor following the match. Gargano returned and celebrated with his F.I.S.T. partners ending a great night of action.

Superb action! Loved the Trios matches, even though I was hoping The Batiri would score a victory... And the main event was exciting... Sweet win for F.I.S.T... Nobody portrays Chikara action quite the way you do... Very nice work!

Enjoyed the Chikara action. Kingston v. Quackenbush should be fun. The trios action was great. So many cards to use and so little time to play….

It is good to see Mr.Touchdown with the opening victory, but too bad Gran Akuma lost to UMB. It was great seeing F.I.S.T. with the huge Campeonatos de Parejas victory and I liked the pairing of Tursas & Brodie Lee...

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Bookerbill and Crimson. FIST over the Portal was a great bout. It felt like it would never end and it almost went to a draw before FIST pulled it out. I agree BB, so many cards to use and so little time to play. Next up is an ROH show and coming at the end of this game year I will be merging ROH and Chikara under the name of the IWA (Independent Wrestling Association) so be on the lookout for that...
Ring of Honor - Boiling Point - The Rec Center - Rahway, NJ (Card #860)
1) War Machine defeated Young Bucks by DQ: An explosive opening match saw the popular Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) go against the intimidating War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe). Both teams are looking to get into title contention and also to impressive IWA officials who are scouting talent in both CHIKARA and Ring of Honor. It was a battle of speed against power and in the early going it was the power of Hanson and Rowe that was winning out. War Machine unleashed a wide variety of suplexes and slams leading to a few near falls on Matt. Nick was able to help reverse the momentum and the Bucks unleashed some of their patented double-team moves including N’Sync and the springboard spike tombstone. Nick also scored a big near fall on Hanson with a springboard X-Factor. Hanson and Rowe combined to hit War Machine, a side slam and top rope legdrop combo, on Matt but he surprisingly kicked out with authority. Matt lost his cool a short time later and he was disqualified when he ran Rowe head first into the ring post giving War Machine a technical victory.
2) Silas Young defeated Matt Sydal: The high flying Matt Sydal out of St. Louis, MO, took on the tough challenge of Silas Young, dubbed “The Last Real Man in Professional Wrestling”, in the second match. Sydal missed a top rope dive early and then never really got back on track resulting in him being on the defensive most of the way. Young scored consecutive near falls with the backbreaker before hitting the Pee Gee Waja Plunge, an Arabian Press, for the pin. It was a huge win for Young and the crowd cheered him on as he and Sydal adhered to the Code of Honor post-match.
3) Forever Hooligans defeated American Wolves: Tag team competition has always been at a high level in ROH and that was very evident here as the American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) took on the Forever Hooligans (Alex Koslov & Rocky Romero). This was a great match from start to finish featuring a ton of near falls and some timely saves. The crowd was at a fever pitch most of the way as well. Edwards scored with the Die Hard, a cross-legged Fisherman Buster, on both men for near falls. He also nearly tapped out Koslov when he trapped him in the Achilles Lock. Romero likewise scored a submission chance on Edwards when he trapped him in the top rope cross armbreaker. Richards and Koslov had a great exchange at one point trading quick and stiff kicks back and forth. The finish of a great bout saw the Hooligans pick up the victory when they hit the Contract Killer on Edwards with Romero scoring the pin. Both teams received a well deserved standing ovation following the match.
4) El Generico defeated Mike Bennett: The rivalry between El Generico and “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett has really been heating up. A jealous Bennett even interfered in Genericos' match with Kings Road United star Tiger Mask on the last ROH card causing a count out decision. Generico won the match but Tiger Mask refused to adhere to the Code of Honor feeling that Bennett was involved on behalf of Generico. As it turned out he was informed of the situation back in Japan and sent in a video that was played before this match where he apologized to Generico and invited him to team up on the next KRU tour. The crowd cheered that announcement and Generico accepted the offer much to the anger of Bennett and his associates Maria Kanellis and Brutal Bob. Generico seemed focused as he dominated almost the entire match. Both Maria and Brutal Bob provided distractions to save Bennett from being pinned. Brutal Bob wound up being ejected from ringside when he distracted the referee on another pin attempt. Bennett was able to fight out of the Brainbustaaahhh!!! attempt several times and hit the Photo Finish for a big near fall. Generico got the win when he nailed Bennett with the exploder suplex into the turnbuckles followed by the Spike Brainbuster for the pin. The Code of Honor was ignored post-match with Generico continuing to attack the fallen Bennett as Maria screamed at ringside. Brutal Bob ran back down and pulled Bennett out to safety as the crowd cheered on the victorious Generico.
5) Roderick Strong & Delirious defeated Jay Lethal & Tommaso Ciampa: Heated tag team action saw Jay Lethal & Tommaso Ciampa team up against House of Truth members Roderick Strong & Delirious. Conspicuous by his absence was manager Truth Martini who may have been off scouting new talent or more likely scouting potential Hoopla Hotties. Ciampa was out for revenge in this one as he was sprayed with the Red Poison by Delirious on the last ROH card. He and Lethal jelled real well together and controlled the early action including Lethal trapping Strong in the Koji Clutch for a submission chance. Strong recovered and hit the backbreaker on the turnbuckle on Ciampa for a near fall. Ciampa and Delirious had some real heated exchanges throughout the bout including outside the ring. Ciampa countered a diving huracanrana by Delirious with a twisting neckbreaker scoring a two count. Delirious came back hitting Shadows Over Hell on Ciampa for another near fall. The House of Truth picked up the win when Strong caught Ciampa with another backbreaker on the turnbuckle followed by the Sick Kick for the pin. Strong and Delirious jumped Ciampa post-match but Lethal made the save setting off a four-way brawl until LOW officials broke it up. Ciampa then grabbed the mic and challenged them to a rematch which ROH promoter Cary Silkin agreed to adding a stipulation that the loser of the fall will have to leave ROH. The high stakes match will take place as part of Survival of the Fittest in Philadelphia, PA (Card #870).
6) Fight Without Honor: Steve Corino defeated Jimmy Jacobs: The breakup of S.C.U.M., with Jimmy Jacobs attempting to put Steve Corino out of ROH for good, led to Corino returning from injury to take on Jacobs in this special Fight Without Honor. The crowd was bracing for war as an angry Corino arrived to take on the “Zombie Princess”, his former tag team partner. Notably absent from the ringside area was Kevin Steen, the one who gave Jacobs the go ahead to take down Corino and put an end to the faction. This was a sick battle with both men reaching down to the lowest depths attempting to inflict injury on the other. Corino blitzed Jacobs in and out of the ring early including tossing a chair into his face. Jacobs was in a bad way when he caught Corino with a low blow and then assaulted him on the outside as well. The tide turned when Jacobs went for a weapon under the ring only to have Corino hit him with a chair shot across the back. He followed with a foreign object attack actually using the Railroad Spike brought out by Jacobs in order to bludgeon his former tag team partner. Jacobs was a bloody mess but he did manage to avoid a spear sending Corino hard into the barrier. Jacobs followed up with a series of violent stomps in the ring covering Corino for a two count. Corino dug down deep in the home stretch and nailed Jacobs with an Old School Kick followed by the Old School Suplex to score the pin. The crowd cheered the big win by the “King of Old School” who afterward grabbed the mic and demanded a match with Steen. There was no response as Steen was not in the building so ROH promoter Cary Silkin did the next best thing by slotting Corino against Steen in the opening match at the Survival of the Fittest event.
7) ROH tag team titles: Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas© vs. Bad Influence was a DDQ: A highly anticipated tag team title showdown saw Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) defend the ROH tag team titles against Bad Influence (“Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels & Kazarian). The duo of Bad Influence have been on a real roll having gotten the better of the Kings of Wrestling over the course of recent weeks and here they were looking to strike gold. Benjamin and Haas are three-time ROH tag team champions and they showed why as they were able to dominate most of the early action. Haas trapped Kazarian in the Haas of Pain at one point going for the submission but it was broken up in the ropes. He and Benjamin also combined on the devastating superkick into a German suplex. The challengers began battling back with Kazarian striking with a German Suplex to set up Daniels hitting the Angel’s Wings on Haas for a big near fall. Benjamin made the save there but Daniels continued his attack and wound up hitting the move again for what look to be a sure pin. Benjamin, however, got there in time to break it up and Kazarian joined in setting off a four-way brawl. The referee was unable to restore order and called for the bell ruling the match a double disqualification. Benjamin and Haas retained the titles in their version one defense but there is no question that the two teams are headed for a championship rematch.
8) ROH Heavyweight title: Adam Cole defeated Michael Elgin to win the title: The main event saw the “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin defend the ROH Heavyweight title against former champion Adam Cole. This match had major ramifications for the winner as being the champion would put them in position for a contract with the IWA while the loser may have to further impress talent scouts to earn a spot on the roster. As the two went to engage in the Code of Honor it was Cole aggressively pouncing on Elgin looking to gain the upper hand. That proved to be a major move by the challenger as he quickly put Elgin on the defensive. Cole hit the brainbuster onto the knee and applied a figure four leglock punishing the champion. A short time later he hit the Florida Key, a bridging suplex, to score a two count. Elgin struggled to get back into it but was clearly shaken up by the strong offensive being executed by Cole. The finish off a nearly one-sided battle saw Cole execute the Panama Sunrise, a super front flip piledriver, on Elgin to score the pin. The victory for Cole made him a two-time ROH Heavyweight champion and he let everyone know it by jumping up and down with the title belt. After celebrating he went for the Code of Honor with Elgin but the former champion turned his back and left the ring to some jeers from the crowd.

I have to say that is a top victory for Silas Young and you never know when one wrong move can cost you a good offensive showing like what happened to Sydal. That Title Match between WGTT & BI read like a instant classic and ending in a double dq was wild. I liked that Steve Corino won his bout versus Jacobs with payback being achieved and I look forward to see if Corino defeats Steen next...

Superb stuff! Big stakes for Strong, Delirious, Lethal and Ciampa... Which one will be forced to leave ROH?
The tag title match between WGTT and Bad Influence was a wild affair... Possibly my favorite match of the show...
Big win for Corino, but I gotta wonder if he's biting off more than he can chew by challenging Steen... Should be brutal...
Last, but not least... Congratulations to Adam Cole on his title win!
The IWA scouts must have their hands full trying to determine which talent will potentially have the most impact when Chikara unites with ROH... Exciting!

Thanks for the comments Crimson and Pariah. Glad you liked the ROH tag team title match (a rematch is coming) and Corino-Steen as well. Yes, Pariah the IWA scouts do have their hands full - so many cards to use but only so many spots open. Next up is another edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling...
LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 45) - WMC-TV5 Studios - Memphis, TN (Card #861)
The broadcast opened with announcers Lance Russell and Dave Brown narrating exclusive footage of the “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt defeating Lou Thesz for the LOW World Heavyweight title in Berlin, Germany (Card #856). The footage focused in on the closing moments of the match where Hackenschmidt locked on his feared Russian Bearhug and squeezed Thesz relentlessly. Thesz had survived the hold earlier but by that point in the match he was forced to concede resulting in Hackenschmidt becoming a two-time LOW World Heavyweight champion. Russell said that Thesz had been a durable champion and a fighting one but that the travel schedule of a world champion may have finally caught up to him. Brown agreed and also noted that Hackenschmidt, who is under contract to the Global Wrestling Association, had recently taken on a lighter schedule in order to return to Russia and go into intensive training for the match. Russell said that it paid off but Thesz was not going to retreat and in fact he has invoked his rematch clause and the return match will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #867). He added that the world championship rematch will cap off a huge night of action at MSG including Frank Gotch facing The Sheik in a No DQ Match, coming off of Gotch being injured by The Sheik, and a match between Andre the Giant and The Warlord with the added stipulation that if Andre wins he will get five minutes in the ring with Captain Lou Albano. The studio audience cheered that announcement and Russell played it up saying that Albano may have bitten off even more than he could chew. At that point the massive One Man Gang, who is managed by Albano, entered the studio clutching his newly won LOW Tex-Arkana Television title.
OMG: “Russell, you have a nerve talking about my manager like that. This championship belt proves that Captain Lou Albano is the greatest manager in professional wrestling today. I took it from Hacksaw Jim Duggan in North Attleboro, MA (Card #857) and I plan to hold it a long time, ha ha! Since Paul London bitch slapped you last week I won’t lay my hands on you and instead I’m going to go in that ring and teach a lesson to any punk in the back that wants a shot at this title!”
LR: “Alright Gang, I got it. Get on in there and defend the title and since Albano isn’t here we will see how things go for you today. I know you are one of the biggest and toughest in LOW so I know enough not to rile you up. Dave, I’m going to toss it over to you.”
DB: “Thanks Lance and as for the aforementioned Paul London we have a pre-recorded interview with him conducted by PWI Editor Bill Apter to explain his actions here last week. We also have LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox on hand for a huge announcement regarding the incoming IWA (Independent Wrestling Association) that will premiere during WrestleCade IX weekend. As for in-ring action we have a feature tag team bout with Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill taking on the rugged Russian duo of Ivan Koloff & Boris Zhukov from the GWA, the Blonde Bombers (Chris Candido & Bobby Shane) of the SWA are in action and a whole lot more but first up we have championship action so here is ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta for the introductions.”
1) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Timber vs. One Man Gang© was a Draw: The One Man Gang paced around the ring as Gary Michael Cappetta said that anyone from the back could take a shot at the title and out came none other than former champion Timber, “The Insane Lumberjack”! OMG protested his arrival but the referee called for the bell starting the match. Timber got off to a strong start and at one point nearly pinned OMG with an impressive powerslam. OMG battled back with a scoop bodyslam and decked Timber with a big right hand knocking him out of the ring. The two fought on the outside a few times with Timber holding the upper hand. A late rally by OMG saw him hit the running corner splash but Timber survived and scored another near fall with a spinebuster. A short time later the television time limit ran out ending the match in a draw and allowing OMG to retain the title.
2) Jerry Lynn defeated Virgil: Popular NWC star Jerry Lynn took on “Wrestling Superstar” Virgil in a highly competitive match. Virgil had no takers for his autographed photos at ringside so he took it out on Lynn. He even survived the Cradle Piledriver by getting his foot over the bottom rope before the three count. Lynn kicked it into overdrive in the home stretch and caught Virgil with a sunset flip power bomb followed by a DDT to score the pin. Announcer Dave Brown noted during the match that Lynn, a former holder of the LOW Junior Heavyweight title, will be facing reigning champion Danny Hodge for the championship on the upcoming MSG card.
Interview – Paul London: PWI Editor Bill Apter conducted this exclusive pre-recorded interview with GWA star Paul London who is currently suspended by LOW for slapping announcer Lance Russell on Episode 44 of LOW All-Star Wrestling (Card #851). Apter questioned the actions of London, a two-time LOW Junior Heavyweight champion, noting that Russell is a respected veteran announcer who deserves better. London cut him off saying that Russell was in the “wrong place at the wrong time” and that his loss to Bryan Danielson of PCW was a “fluke” since he twice defeated the “American Dragon” for the LOW Junior Heavyweight title. He said that there was a “conspiracy” against him in LOW and that his lawyers were currently looking in to getting him reinstated. Apter noted that LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox was willing to work things out with his legal representation but that an apology needed to be issued to Russell before any ruling could be made. London then looked directly into the camera and glared saying that if all he needed to do was apologize he will show up on LOW All-Star Wrestling next week and do it. Apter thanked London for his time and as the video ended Russell took over at the announce desk. He said that he wanted nothing to do with London on the broadcast but that if he comes in with true intentions to make things right he will be open to it.
3) Chief Omega & Ricky Landell defeated Blonde Bombers by Count Out: The recent situation involving wrestler-manager J.J. Dillon taking out rival manager “Elegant” Eddie Fyne in the SWA, complete with taking over his stable of talent in “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers and the Blonde Bombers (Chris Candido & Bobby Shane), was highlighted in video form before this match. Chief Omega & Ricky Landell could care less about that and formulated quite a game plan for this bout. The Bombers seemed off from the start save for Shane scoring a near fall on Landell with a flying crossbody. Shane took the lion’s share of the punishment and was the victim of some dramatic near falls. He was also busted open and in a bad way which forced Dillon to interfere making a save and that led to his ejection from ringside. Candido had to go it alone with a bloody Shane down on the apron and ultimately he bailed out of the ring. He assisted Shane to the back and the Bombers took a count out loss giving Omega and Landell a big win. An angry Dillon returned and went over to the announce table saying that his men will regroup and be back better than ever. He blamed the loss on “cheating” by Omega and Landell saying that the ref allowed them to bludgeon Shane with a foreign object which, of course, never happened. Lance Russell interrupted and threw it to commercial as Dillon continued with his verbal tirade…
4) Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill defeated Ivan Koloff & Boris Zhukov by Count Out: A second straight count out decision ended this grudge tag team battle between the ASW team of Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill and the GWA team of the “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff & Boris Zhukov. Doring and Roadkill win a disqualification decision over Koloff and Zhukov on a GWA card in Berlin, Germany (Card #856) and were looking to make it two in a row. The Russian dup dominated the early action including Koloff scoring a near fall on Doring with a legdrop. Roadkill reversed the momentum and combined with Doring to hit the Buggy Bang on Koloff for a big near fall. Late in the bout it was all four men battling at ringside when Doring avoided a charge by Koloff causing him to collide with Zhukov. Doring then dove back into the ring just before the ten count to get the win for his team. WHAT!? The Heartbreak Express lost to the Executioner and Mr.X, that is wild and crazy stuff. Seeing upsets like that in the game is really cool. Too bad Timber and One Man Gang went to a draw, but I really like the time limit draw...
