Always exciting to see the Macho Man in action... Unfortunate that he couldn't pick up the win against Kowalski... At least he managed to put some fear into Albano before taking his leave...
But, the highlight match for me was Younger & Credible vs. Sabu & Lynn... Superb action!
The main event made for a fine way to close out the show... Rocca put on an incredible performance, but Valentine escapes with his reign intact... Classic!
As always, your stuff continues to entertain... From bell to bell!

I've always like seeing Fritz Von Goering take the victory, plus a DQ win is a win and the bWo winning that way is pretty cool. A top notch win for Killer Kowalski with the KClaw and I wonder where this victory takes both the winner and loser next...

Thanks for the comments Pariah and Crimson. Next up is another wild night of action from the SWA...
LOW Southern Wrestling Alliance - Mobile Civic Center - Mobile, AL (Card #904)
1) Brian Blair defeated Val Venis: The opening contest pitted the popular Brian Blair out of Tampa, FL, against a man making his SWA debut in the “Big Valbowski” Val Venis. Coming from the GWA it was Venis hoping to make an impression and he looked great early by controlling the pace. Blair took over with an airplane spin and used the Boston Crab to wear down Venis. In the end it was Blair hitting the Bee Sting, a flying hip attack, to score the pin. (Promoter’s Note: I use “0” for the Bee Sting in singles bouts)
2) Love Brothers defeated Nikita Breznikov & Matt Striker: It was a successful SWA debut for the Love Brothers (Reginald & Hartford Love) as they took on Nikita Breznikov & Matt Striker appearing courtesy of ASW. The Love Brothers came over from PCW and are determined to make their mark against the top ranked tag teams in the SWA. Former manager Breznikov impressed early when he kicked out after taking the Neckbreaker from Hartford. Striker also looked good during his time in but ultimately the Love Brothers isolated him and took this one home. The finish saw Reginald nail Striker with the Atomic Drop to score the pin as Hartford prevented Breznikov from making the save.
3) Kevin Sullivan defeated Koko B. Ware: The “Birdman” Koko B. Ware of ASW had the tough task of taking on House of Humperdink member Kevin Sullivan. Sir Oliver Humperdink was at ringside and was overheard saying that Sullivan, Eddie Gilbert and Ox Baker will be bringing home the King of Trios trophy from the IWA. Sullivan was at his maniacal best in this bout as he battered Ware including busting him open after a foreign object attack. Ware had some bursts of offense, including scoring a two count with a top rope dropkick, but he was no match for Sullivan. As Humperdink proudly looked on it was Sullivan catching a bloody Ware with the Tree of Woe to score the pin.
4) Blonde Bombers & J.J. Dillon defeated Bob Armstrong, Mike Graham, & Tracy Smothers: Six-man tag team action saw “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, Mike Graham, & Tracy Smothers take on the Blonde Bombers (Bobby Shane & Chris Candido) & J.J. Dillon. It has not been uncommon to see Dillon wrestling in the SWA despite being busy with his managerial duties. Armstrong nearly won this one early when he caught Shene in the Sleeper Hold but Candido and Dillon made the save. Candido would turn things around against Graham and hit the Blonde Bomb but Smothers made a last second save. Both teams had shining moments the rest of the way including Dillon catching Graham with a clothesline from the corner followed by his Elbow Drop for a big near fall. The finish saw Shane trap Graham in the Japanese Sleeper to get the victory via submission as Candido and Dillon prevented a save from being made. It was an impressive win for the Blonde Bombers and their manager over a very accomplished team on the other side.
5) Johnny Valentine defeated Blackjack Mulligan by DQ: The rugged Blackjack Mulligan has been at the forefront of the war against Sir Oliver Humperdink and his House of Humperdink in the SWA and here he took on the cornerstone in one Johnny Valentine. It got off to a wild start with Mulligan delivering a series of right hands and covering Valentine for a two count. Valentine came back hitting consecutive Atomic Skullcrusher’s on Mulligan for near falls. The finish was no surprise as the two brawled out to ringside where Mulligan lost his cool and was disqualified snake eyes style for repeatedly running Valentine head first into the ring post. He then tossed him back into the ring and applied the Claw Hold and that left Valentine a bloody mess. Humperdink broke the hold with a kendo stick shot to the back but Mulligan shook it off and went after the manager. He was about to put the Claw Hold on Humperdink when Kevin Sullivan ran in and attacked him from behind. It turned into a three-on-one attack on Mulligan and it was Sullivan who produced the Railroad Spike which he used to dig into the claw hand of Mulligan. It was a vicious assault that was finally stopped when Bob Armstrong ana a host of LOW officials ran in. Mulligan clutched his bloody claw hand as he was helped to the back and he is expected to miss several weeks of action.
6) Buddy Rogers defeated Tommy Rich: Two men looking for a shot at the LOW World Heavyweight title squared off as “Wildfire” Tommy Rich took on “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers who was accompanied by his manager J.J. Dillon. The two are cetetainly no strangers to each other having battled each other a number of times in both singles and tag team matches. Rogers got off to an aggressive start and trapped Rich in the Figure Four Grapevine but he reversed out of it and the hold was broken in the ropes. He followed up scoring near falls with a piledriver and a pin using the ropes. Rich struck back and locked on the Wildfire Sleeper attempting to put Rogers away. Rogers fought out of the hold but Rich maintained the momentum. Dillon urged Rogers to get back into it and he did when he caught Rich with a jumping knee smash knocking him out of the ring. The two then had a violent exchange at ringside culminating with Rogers executing a knee breaker on top of the ring barrier. That proved to be the turning point as Rogers again applied the Figure Four Grapevine and this time it resulted in Rich tapping out to prevent injury. It was a huge submission victory for the “Nature Boy” as Rich has proven to be one of the toughest men to defeat in the SWA.
7) Don Muraco defeated Magnum T.A.: One of the most controversial moments occurring during WrestleCade IX weekend came when “The Magnificent” Don Muraco viciously attacked Magnum T.A. after dropping a decision to him during the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament. Muraco had become a big crowd favorite in the SWA, particularly during his battles against the members of the House of Humperdink, but on this night he came out to jeers from the crowd because of his recent actions. Magnum drew a huge pop as he entered the ring and he looked determined to hand Muraco a bitter defeat. Muraco, however, was more than ready on this night and he pretty much dominated the action from the opening bell. After a wicked series of vertical suplexes and a battle on the outside it was Muraco planting Magnum with the Hawaiian Hammer to score the pin. The crowd was stunned as a defiant Muraco had his hand raised in victory but they got some post-match gratification as Magnum laid him out with a Belly to Belly Suplex!
8) LOW World tag team titles: Road Warriors© defeated D-Lo Brown & Kenny King to retain the titles: The main event saw D-Lo Brown & Kenny King afforded a huge opportunity as they challenged the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk, with manager Paul Ellering) for the LOW World tag team titles. Coming off of their record eighth LOW World tag team title win over the Midnight Express at the Tokyo Dome (Card #901), Animal and Hawk were looking to have a successful version one defense of the belts. In Brown and King they found a team determined to grab the gold for the first time. Brown, in particular, was very impressive surviving a number of near falls and even being busted open by the champions. King was also very effective and at times it was Ellering having to offer direction to his men to counter the skills of the challengers. Late in the bout it was Brown taking a Spike Piledriver but then kicking out of a pin after Hawk finished off an offensive with a gut wrench suplex. Animal then tagged in and laid out the bloody Brown with a Powerslam to score the pin. Alhough they came out on the losing end it was Brown and King drawing a great ovation from the crowd for their efforts against the Road Warriors.

Rough night for Mulligan... he's gonna need to pull some allies together to face down the House of Humperdink. Buddy Rogers is a dangerous contender for any title. Sadly for D-Lo and King, there are no moral victories in the wrestling world. Better luck next time and let's see some REAL challengers for the LoD.

HEY! HEY! HEY! That poor loser Magnum T.A. attacking Don Muraco was uncalled for, just because he tripped over Muraco last time doesn't mean he has the right to attack him after their recent match. I call foul and Magnum should be suspended. Love the history so far between those two, it'll be interesting to see if we'll see more from them. I liked the victories by Blair and Sullivan, but too bad D'Lo King lost to the Road Warriors...

Excellent matchup between Rogers and Rich, as Nature Boy picks up an important victory... And even though I was glad to see The Road Warriors succeed in their version one title defense, it was very cool that D'Lo & King put up such a great fight... Another superb offering from LOW!

Thanks for the comments Daytondave, Crimson and Pariah. I had a lot of fun rolling out that show. Just a quick update as I haven't been feeling too great since my car accident so not much dice rolling this week. I am going to the doctor tomorrow and if all goes well I will hopefully get the next show done and posted sometime this weekend. Up next I have an AWE show (Lou Thesz vs. William Muldoon for the world title headlines) followed by PCW, SHIMMER and the three show IWA King of Trios event so some great action is coming.

Thanks for the support Pariah and Crimson. I have some physical therapy coming up but hopefully I will be able to get some dice rolling in as well. I was able to finish the AWE card, hope you enjoy the action...
LOW American Wrestling Enterprise - Rosemont Horizon - Chicago, IL (Card #905)
1) Dupae Rupa defeated The French Angel: The French Angel, making his debut in the AWE after leaving the GWA, took on “The Belgian Brawler” Dupae Rupa of ASW. Many felt that the Angel had this one in the bag based on reputation alone but Rupa came into it well prepared. He managed to withstand some strong attacks, including the menacing palm strikes and the fearsome headbutt, and fight back with his own big moves. The Angel was nearly disqualified several times for fighting on the outside and his penchant for brutality may have gotten the better of him. It was Rupa with a late counterattack before hitting the Belgian Waffle to score the pin. It was a huge win for Rupa and a tough loss for The French Angel in his AWE debut.
2) Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill defeated PG-13 by DQ: Make it two consecutive wins for the stars of ASW as Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill got the decision over PG-13 (J.C. Ice & Wolfie D) in a hard fought match. Both teams looked exceptional here as this one featured plenty of back and forth action. PG-13 used their double-team attacks, including the leg sweep and clothesline, to score a near fall on Doring late in the bout. Doring then came back with a counter sunset flip on Ice for another near fall. Both teams wound up battling to the outside and it was PG-13 getting disqualified when Ice hit Roadkill with the hubcap right in front of the referee.
3) Finlay defeated Erick Stevens: It was young Erick Stevens pitting his skills against the “Belfast Bruiser” Finlay who was making his AWE debut coming over from the GWA. Stevens impressed early including scoring a two count on a Samoan Drop. Finlay battled back hard roughing up Stevens on the outside and then planting him with the Celtic Cross only to lift him up at the count of two. That could have been a mistake but Finlay kept up his attack and a second delivery of the Celtic Cross resulted in him scoring the pin. It was a successful debut in the AWE for Finlay who hopes to make a big impression on the territory in the months to come.
4) Mad Dog Vachon defeated Jim Brunzell by DQ: The popular Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell out of White Bear Lake, MN, had the tough task of taking on Mad Dog Vachon who was accompanied by his manager Jimmy Hart. It was a real give and take battle most of the way with both men looking sharp. Brunzell nearly won it when he caught Vachon, after missing a corner charge and hitting the ring post, with a flying bodypress for a two count. Vachon used his brutal tactics along with solid moves like the airplane spin, double foot stomp and the Mad Dog Pounce to dominate for a stretch. The two wound up battling to the outside and it was Brunzell who wound up getting disqualified snake eyes style when he hit Vachon with a chair shot during a heated exchange. It was a rare DQ loss for Brunzell but he showed that he was willing to take the fight to the feared Vachon.
5) Rick Rude & Larry Zbyszko defeated Yukon Eric & John Pesek: Grudge tag team action saw Yukon Eric & John Pesek join forces to battle Heenan Family members “Ravishing” Rick Rude & Larry Zbyszko who were accompanied by manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. It was a hectic match for Heenan who watched as Eric and Pesek nearly won the match several times. That included Eric with a big near fall on Rude after a bodyblock into the turnbuckle. Pesek likewise nearly won it by submission over Zbyszko with a body triangle and crossface but it was broken up in the ropes. Some controversial moments took place as it looked like Rude had Pesek pinned after the Rude Awakening but he managed to get his foot on the bottom rope just before the three count. Pesek later had Zbyszko pinned but Eric was being pushed back by the referee and Rude dropped an elbow reversing the pin for a big near fall. The finish saw Rude counter an offensive by Pesek and execute a Top Rope Sledgehammer to score the pin.
6) Andre the Giant defeated The Terrible Turk: The undefeated “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant, coming off of a successful night at WrestleCade IX, took on The Terrible Turk (Youssuf Ishmaelo), the feared grappler out of Shumia, Turkey. The Turk was hoping to do what many haven’t been able to and that is to score a clean win over the undefeated Andre. It was a bad night for The Turk as he got in very little offensively and never had a chance to use his controversial Stranglehold. Andre overpowered him at every turn and after nearly winning it by submission with a bearhug he hit his patented Big Splash to score the pin.
7) Valiant Brothers defeated Angelo & Lanny Poffo: In what promises to be a heated rivalry it was the father-and-son team of Angelo & Lanny Poffo taking on former LOW World tag team champions the Valiant Brothers (Jimmy “Boogie Woogie Man” Valiant & “Luscious” Johnny Valiant). The two teams met as part of a six-man tag team match at WrestleCade IX with the Poffo clan, including Randy Savage, beating the Valiant Brothers and their manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. With Lanny having left ASW to compete full-time in the AWE this match marked his official in-ring debut in the AWE. Lanny was incredible here pulling off some great offense including nearly pinning Jimmy wit the Sky Drop in the early going. Jimmy struck back locking the Sleeper Hold on Angelo but he escaped with authority and knocked him out of the ring with a knee lift. Johnny was able to reverse the momentum and was particularly effective against Angelo. The end of a wild battle saw Lanny suffer a shot to the back as he hit the ring apron hard when Jimmy tossed him out of the ring. Johnny then tagged in and trapped Lanny in the Boston Crab as Jimmy fended off a run-in by Angelo. Heenan called for the referee to get Angelo out but it didn’t matter as Lanny, unable to escape from the punishing hold, was forced to tap out giving the Valiant Brothers a submission victory. Heenan was overjoyed and rubbed it in taunting Angelo and the fallen Lanny from the floor as the Valiant Brothers offered protection for their manager.
8) LOW World Heavyweight title: Lou Thesz© defeated William Muldoon to retain the title: The main event saw Lou Thesz defend the LOW World Heavyweight title against the formidable challenge of “The Solid Man” William Muldoon, a former holder of the LOW World Heavyweight title. It has been more than a year since Muldoon challenged for the title but he was no doubt well prepared going into this bout. Thesz was coming off of a successful title defense against Bobo Brazil at WrestleCade IX and was looking to continue his second reign as champion. The two had some great technical exchanges throughout the match and received several well deserved ovations from the crowd. Thesz scored early with both the Greco-Roman Backdrop and the Thesz Press but Muldoon was able to kick out before the three count. Muldoon would counter a side headlock by Thesz with a nicely executed suplex for a two count. He then followed up with his finisher, the Body Lift and Throw, for a big near fall. Many in the building thought that a new champion would be crowned there. It built from there as the two continued trading holds and counter holds thrilling the crowd. After sending Muldoon out of the ring it was Thesz battling him on the ring apron. Thesz got the upper hand and as he pulled Muldoon back inside he quickly hit the Greco-Roman Backdrop to score the pin and retain the title. Muldoon suffered a disappointing loss but he gave Thesz all that he could handle and more. It was a successful version four defense of the title for Thesz who showed great class as he shook hands with Muldoon afterward and raised his arm in a salute to his abilities in what was a great bout for the LOW World Heavyweight title.
