Huge congratulations going to Courtney Rush on her championship victory... Looking forward to watching her lock up with Martinez - Who came out on top of a wicked confrontation with Sweet Saraya Knight...
Havok & Kraven is one fearsome duo... How will Cheerleader Melissa & SDR fare in that colossal shadow?
Great stuff!

Thanks for the comments Pariah and AJ. The SHIMMER cards are ones I always have fun with as the ladies seem to bring some intense action. Martinez vs. Knight was epic and really could have gone either way. I'm with you Pariah on the Havok-Kraven pairing, they should be a feared duo and one that could be very tough to beat. The title win by Courtney Rush was completely unexpected by me so it was awesome when it happened. I was kind of hoping that Lufisto would retain as now her two title reigns were very short.
Next up will be IWA action featuring DDP Vs. Mike Quackenbush for the IWA Heavyweight title in a No DQ Match with Percy Pringle III barred from Quack's corner plus more matches in the J-Crown elimination tournament.

IWA - Dog Eat Dog - Taylortown Trade Center - Taylor, MI (Card #939)
1) Trent Barreta defeated Manimal: Trent Barreta, a native of Long Island, NY, faced a physical challenge in Texas native Manimal in the opening match. Manimal was very impressive in the early going including hitting the T-Rex Roll, a fireman’s carry into a forward roll, for a big near fall. Barreta battled back hitting such electric moves as the suicide leap, double foot stomp and corkscrew senton. Manimal showed some resiliency before Barreta blasted him with a Leg Lariat to score the pin.
2) Nigel McGuinness & Adam Pearce defeated Shaun Ricker & Mikey O’Shea: Tag team action was featured next as Shaun Ricker & Mikey O’Shea took on Nigel McGuinness & Adam Pearce. The recent rivalry between Ricker and Pearce played a part in what became a heated match. O’Shea looked strong in the early going and scored a two count on McGuinness with the Spine Destroyer. Ricker complimented him pretty well and at one point leveled Pearce with the Elevator Superplex. Pearce would bounce back and score consecutive near falls on O’Shea with the Hangman’s Neckbreaker and his trademark Jumping Piledriver. Ricker made a timely save on the latter move to keep his team in the match. It was not long after that, though, when McGuinness would secure the victory for his team when he nailed O’Shea with the Guvnor’s Crumpet to score the pin.
3) IWA J-Crown Elimination Match: Chuck Taylor defeated Matthew Cross: The Road to determine the first IWA J Crown champion continued with the first of four consecutive elimination matches as the “Kentucky Gentleman” Chuck Taylor took on free agent star Matthew Cross representing Olde Wrestling. Unfortunately this wasn’t much of a match. As Cross greeted fans at ringside it was Taylor jumping him from behind and running him head first into the ring post. Taylor then fired a stunned Cross into the ring and quickly hit the Awful Waffle to score the pin moments after the bell rang. Taylor then rolled out of the ring and did a victory run as the referee attended to a fallen Cross. The crowd jeered the decision and rightfully so as this was expected to be a great bout. Taylor now advances to the semi-final elimination round which takes place in Hellertown, PA (Card #942).
4) IWA J-Crown Elimination Match: Kyle O’Reilly defeated Ricochet: The high flying Ricochet out of Paducah, KY, took on St. Louis, MO, native Kyle O’Reilly, one-half of reDRagon along with Bobby Fish, in the next elimination match. Ricochet was a heavy favorite going into the tournament and he showed why early hitting such breathtaking moves as the double rotation moonsault, over the ring post dive and the 450 corkscrew splash which resulted in a big near fall. The turning point of the match came when O’Reilly connected with a missile dropkick (deathjump) that connected on the right arm of Ricochet. That led to O’Reilly going to Armageddon, his version of the cross armbreaker or juji-gatame, looking to get a submission win. Ricochet fought off several applications of the hold but finally it was O’Reilly locking on Armageddon in center ring and that resulted in a tap out. O’Reilly won it via submission and will now go against Chuck Taylor in the semi-final round.
5) IWA J-Crown Elimination Match: Johnny Gargano defeated Rich Swann: Free agent star Johnny Gargano of Evolve, who many feel will be awarded an IWA contract one day, took on the IWA’s own Rich Swann in an elimination match. It was all Gargano early as he dominated with the Crosston Crab, Hurts Donut and swinging reverse STO. He had Swann in serious trouble but was unable to put him away. Swann only needed an opening and he got it using a counter cradle hold off of the ropes which led into a quick succession of near falls. Swann hit the Tornado Spin Kick, Shooting-Swan Press and even the Chicken Fried Driver but was also unable to put Gargano away. It was a testament to the ability of both men as the match built to a strong finish which saw Gargano gain the upper hand during a battle on the floor. He dropped Swann throat first on the guard rail and back inside trapped him in the Gargano Escape. Swann tried to fight out of the hold but Gargano cinched it on and got the victory via submission to advance to the semi-final round.
6) IWA J-Crown Elimination Match: AR Fox defeated Scorpio Sky: The final elimination match was a battle of free agent stars as Scorpio Sky of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood took on AR Fox of Evolve. The open format of this tournament was on display here and is indicative of what the IWA J-Crown title will be all about as the championship will be defended against wrestlers in the IWA and against qualifying free agent stars as well. Sky looked impressive early hitting the huracanrana and Blackout DDT, among other key moves. Fox countered at one point and laid out Sky with a Death Valley Driver. A short time later it was Fox connecting with Lo Mein Pain, a jumping moonsault slam from the top rope, but Sky kicked out just before the three count. The crowd cheered that and pushed for Sky to rally back but then Fox nailed him with the Kick Flip Dive to score the pin. It was a flash finish and a huge win for Fox who will now face Johnny Gargano in the other semi-final round match in Hellertown.
7) Michael Elgin defeated Rob Van Dam: IWA Commissioner David Marquez made a huge announcement prior to this match between home area favorite Rob Van Dam from Battle Creek, MI, and the “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin from nearby Toronto, Ontario, Canada, stating that the winner would challenge Roderick Strong for the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title on the next edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling (Card #941). What was already a highly anticipated match became a high stakes one as well with that stipulation added. Both men shook hands at the bell and Elgin looked more focused than ever as he got off to a strong start. He kept RVD off balance with a power based attack and even threw in an impressive aerial move hitting the corkscrew splash. A spinning backfist and lariat combo knocked RVD for a loop and the crowd could begin to sense that things weren’t going to end well for the “Whole F’N Show” on this night. The finish saw a weary RVD nailed with the Elgin Bomb which resulted in the pin. It was a huge win for Elgin who will get a second chance to dethrone Strong after having lost to him in a television title match during King of Trios weekend (Card #909).
8) IWA Heavyweight title – No DQ Match: Diamond Dallas Page defeated Mike Quackenbush to win the title: After what happened on the last IWA card in Manhattan, NY (Card #929), IWA Commissioner David Marquez ordered this No DQ title rematch between Diamond Dallas Page and IWA Heavyweight champion “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush. In addition he barred manager Percy Pringle III from the corner of Quackenbush and said that interference by the other Pringle Dynasty members, Brian Cage and Lance Hoyt, would result in the title automatically changing hands. Quackenbush was now backed into a corner and had to find a way out and he nearly did it in a great main event. A great spot saw DDP going for a reverse atomic drop but Quackenbush countered trapping him in the Chikara Special. DDP also made a great counter of Chain Lightning by transitioning into a Russian Legsweep. Quackenbush gained a near fall when he caught DDP with the Black Tornado Slam. DDP regained control during a battle on the floor and leveled Quackenbush with the face-first piledriver. It was a pivotal moment of the match as DDP sensed an opening and as Quackenbush struggled to get back up to his feet he was nailed with the Diamond Cutter. DDP then crawled over on top of Quackenbush and scored the pin to a thunderous ovation from the crowd. The Jersey Shore native was crowned the new IWA Heavyweight champion and he celebrated by going into the crowd holding up the title belt. DDP will only have a short time for a victory celebration as he will have to pick up the title commitments of Quackenbush and he will defend against the “War King” Eddie Kingston on the next IWA card in Hellertown, PA (Card #942).

Exceptional main event! DDP captured the IWA Heavyweight Championship in superb fashion... And I'm sure PP III went into an apoplectic fit at how it went down...
Was hoping that Matt Cross would make it into the next round of the J-Crown competition... But, a cheap shot by Chuck-T put an end to that... The opposition is getting fierce and I think Gargano is gonna come out on top...
Always entertaining, my friend... Stellar work!

I liked the hard fought victory by Trent Barreta over Manimal and other victories I liked are Taylor, Gargano and Fox in the J-Crown elimination tournament. What a very cool title win for DDP over Mike Quackenbush, plus his next opponent in the "War King" Eddie Kingston should be an interesting one...

I have to agree the Johnny Wrestling will be tough to beat and has to be the favourite to claim the J Crown. Entertaining card from to bottom. Although he has a colour card, I have hard time considering DDP as an "Indy" guy.

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Crimson and Bookerbill. My lack of dice rolling time of late had me missing the IWA part of my fed so it was cool to get this show done. The DDP win over Quack was a lot of fun and it is the first time that DDP has won a title in my fed so it was cool to see it happen.
Bookerbill I get where you are coming from on having a hard time seeing DDP as an "Indy" guy but I decided that anyone with a color card would be available for use in the IWA so I just went with it. He is facing Eddie Kingston shortly so we will see if he can retain there plus of course Quack is going to want his rematch.
I agree with you guys that Johnny Gargano will be tough to beat (he was at +3 on the Gargano Escape) but Chuck Taylor, AR Fox and Kyle O'Reilly could surprise. Thanks as always for following along. I am not sure when I will finish the next show but it is a PCW one headlined by Roddy Piper vs. Greg Valentine in a rematch for the LOW International Heavyweight title plus the official PCW debut of The Mountie teaming up with Tom Prichard to face Larry & Curt Hennig.

The wait shouldn't be too long, Pariah. I have not started rolling out this show yet but I should have it posted sometime this weekend.
