It is always good to read your action my friend and I must say seeing Kyle O'Reilly retaining his J-Crown belt is a highlight for me. That FRAY victory by Eddie Kingston was top stuff, it'll be fun to see if he can win the gold from Delirious...

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Aceldamas and Crimson. Out of the five competing in The Fray Match I actually thought that Eddie Kingston had the least chance of winning it going in but man did he surprise me with his performance. I am looking forward to Kingston vs. Delirious for the title. As noted by Pariah it was a great match for DDP and it looked like he could pull it off but then Galloway caught him with the elimination. As for Quack, Aceldamas, it is funny because it is like bizarro world having him as a heel but it's an angle I started at the end of my Chikara fed so I went with it in the IWA. There is some tension going on between him and Percy Pringle now so who knows face Quack could return. Next up will be a GWA card with Bobo Brazil vs. George Hackenschmidt for the LOW World Heavyweight title and Fred Blassie vs. Don Muraco in the first qualifying match for the PWI Cup tournament.

I should be finishing up the GWA show by tonight or tomorrow and then after that it will be on to the next edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling which will feature some fun surprises - Wooooooooo! (ok, there's at least one hint of what to expect on ASW). As I noted in other posts my fed will be undergoing a transformation following WrestleCade X (Card #1000) and the Tokyo Dome (Card #1001). I feel that the time is right to start fresh and I have some fun ideas planned out but those who follow my fed note that favorites like the IWA, Pacific Coast Wrestling, SHIMMER and Kings Road United will all still be featured prominently. I don't want to give too much away but I will drop hints here and there as I plan out these changes.
Also after those two cards (WrestleCade X, Tokyo Dome) I will be taking every card that I have in my collection and going through them to set up new rosters and for the first time I will be mixing color and black & white cards in my fed on a regular basis. With the move by FG to color exclusively I have to get over that silly sickness (and it is a sickness lol!) of mixing the two together. I have already done that with my KRU and SHIMMER feds in the past so I feel that I can now fully make that painful transition lol. Thanks as always for reading and supporting my fed and I hope you will enjoy the upcoming shows.

I'm so pleased for you, finally feeling able to mix colour with black and white! It may be painful to make the transition but it's a lovely place on the other side :-)
Colour Greg Valentine is one of my favourites, along with Ron Hutchison and Frank Dalton of course.

Thanks for the encouragement Kat Rana, the mixing of the color cards with black and white has been traumatic for me but I think I am finally moving past it One note on that is that both the IWA and SHIMMER will remain full color card feds when the next year of my fed begins. The mixing will come in the other feds that I run. Anyway, I was able to roll out the GWA show so here it is and I think I may have spotted both Kat Rana and Joebreakdown in the crowd for this one. Hope you enjoyed those complimentary front row seats LOW Global Wrestling Association - Sheffield Arena - Sheffield, England (Card #970)1) David Taylor defeated J.D. Michaels: The “Squire” David Taylor out of Queensbury, Yorkshire, England, took on J.D. Michaels, a former LOW Junior Heavyweight champion, in the opening contest. The technically sound Taylor put on a clinic as he frustrated Michaels early and often. He tied him up with the double wristlock and converted a sleeper hold into an armbar and facelock. A brief counter attack by Michaels, which saw him execute the superplex, was cut off by Taylor who connected with a floatover fallaway slam for a two count. A short time later Taylor went up to the top rope for a deathjump (ch) and executed a Flying Bodypress on Michaels to score the pin. 2) Les Thatcher & Henry Irslinger defeated Samoan Island Tribe: The LOW All-Star Wrestling combination of Les Thatcher & Henry Irslinger took on the rough and rugged Samoan Island Tribe (Alofa & Samu). The SIT looked to steamroll over their opponents using their size and strength but often found themselves on the defensive. Thatcher utilized key moves like the dropkicks and high sunset flip to get two counts on both men. Irslinger contributed scoring a near fall with the Flying Headlock on Samu and tied up both men with the scissors hold and toe hold at various points. The SIT fought back hard and isolated Irslinger for a good stretch including Samu scoring a near fall after a double team headbutt. Samu looked to have it won with a Diving Headbutt on Thatcher later but he kicked out before the three count. The surprise finish saw Samu miss with a dive off of the top rope and an alert Irslinger caught him in a Cradle Hold to score the pin. The crowd cheered the victory by the ASW stars in what could be considered an upset win over the SIT. 3) Jim Londos defeated Boris Zhukov: The popular Jim Londos out of Argos, Greece, looked very impressive as he took on Boris Zhukov hailing from Siberia, Russia. The former LOW World Heavyweight champion used his technical skill to keep Zhukov off balance through much of the match. Zhukov got in a brief spurt of offense before Londos caught him with a Crotch Lift and Slam to score the pin. 4) Nick Bockwinkel & Danny Hodge defeated Ted Dibiase & Kurrgan by DQ: Feature tag team action saw Nick Bockwinkel and Danny Hodge join forces to take on the “Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase and his bodyguard Kurrgan. Bockwinkel has been looking for revenge against Dibiase and Kurrgan after the two put him out of action with a neck injury. Bockwinkel really took it to Dibiase whenever they were in against each other. He also held his own against the seven-foot tall Kurrgan including catching him with a gut wrench suplex. Hodge, a five-time holder of the LOW Junior Heavyweight title, showed he would not be intimidated by Kurrgan either as he fired him out of the ring to continue the battle on the floor. Kurrgan took over on the outside, though, and tossed Hodge over the ring barrier. As Bockwinkel and Dibiase exchanged blows inside, Kurrgan pulled Hodge back over the rail and ran him head first into the ring post resulting in the disqualification decision. LOW officials had to be called out to separate the four men as they battled it out post-match. 5) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Roderick Strong© defeated Bob Roop to retain the title: Former Olympian Bob Roop became the latest in a long line to attempt to win the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title from Roderick Strong. Accompanied by manager Truth Martini, the House of Truth member recently set the title defense record for the championship and shows no signs of slowing down. Roop held the upper hand in the early going and had the crowd on his side as he attempted to unseat Strong. Martini was clearly nervous on the outside as it looked like Roop could be the one to take the title. Strong, however, is known for being able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and that is what happened here. Roop sent Strong into the turnbuckle and charged in but was met with a knee to the face. Strong took advantage of a stunned Roop and delivered Death by Roderick, a fireman’s carry into a double knee backbreaker, to score a flash pin. Strong extended his record to seventeen successful title defenses much to the delight of Martini who taunted ringsiders by holding up the Book of Truth. 6) No DQ Match: Giant Bernard & Dan Spivey defeated Jon Moxley & Tyler Black: The tag team rivalry between Jon Moxley & Tyler Black and Giant Bernard & “Dangerous” Dan Spivey has been brewing in the GWA resulting in this No DQ Match being signed. The unhinged Moxley was the star of the match taking the fight to his two larger foes. He showed no fear battling in or out of the ring including blasting both men with chair and kendo stick shots. Black also showed off his great skills including hitting a key suicide dive on Spivey. Moxley nearly won it for his team when he caught Bernard with the Rebound Lariat for a big near fall. Bernard would recover from that and, with several chairs spread out on the mat, he leveled Moxley with the Spinning Wreck Pancake to score a snake eyes pin. Black, who was brawling with Spivey at ringside, ran in and attacked Bernard with a slew of chair shots after the fall. Spivey made the save for his partner but then Moxley recovered and it turned into an out of control brawl. LOW officials rushed in to get things back under control and it was later learned that the two teams will meet in a Falls Count Anywhere Match on the next GWA card in Glasgow, Scotland (Card #977). 7) PWI Invitational Cup Tournament Qualifying Match: Fred Blassie defeated Don Muraco: The qualifying round of the eighth annual PWI Invitational Cup Tournament officially got underway as NWC star Fred Blassie took on “Magnificent” Don Muraco from the SWA. Muraco, a veteran of the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament, held the early advantage using the rolling neck snap and surfboard among other moves to keep Blassie on the defensive. Blassie found an opening thwarting a backdrop with a knee lift and then delivered multiple knee drops for a near fall. Blassie was at his dirty best assaulting Muraco both in and out of the ring. Muraco, who can brawl with the best of them, fought back and picked up a two count after lifting Blassie up into the over the shoulder backbreaker. Muraco had Blassie in trouble until an attempted deathjump was countered with a bodyslam off of the top rope. Blassie then used the nerve pinch on Muraco before using his sharpened vampire-like teeth for a Bite to the Forehead. Muraco was in trouble after that and Blassie quickly executed a roll-up grabbing the tights for extra leverage to score the pin. Blassie, a two-time LOW World Heavyweight champion, became the first man to qualify for the PWI tournament which has its first round at Reunion Arena in Dallas, TX (Card #997) as part of WrestleCade X weekend. 8) LOW World Heavyweight title: Bobo Brazil© defeated George Hackenschmidt to retain the title: The main event saw the popular Bobo Brazil out of Benton Harbor, MI, defend the LOW World Heavyweight title against the man he won it from, the “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt. Brazil won the belt from Hackenschmidt in Pittsburgh, PA (Card #944) so this was a long awaited rematch between the two stars. Early action saw Hackenschmidt using his technical advantage to take control including trapping Brazil in the twisting heel hook. Brazil rolled out to the ring apron and took over as Hackenschmidt moved in by blasting him with a Coco Butt resulting in a two count. Brazil shook up Hackenschmidt with that one and began dominating the match both in and out of the ring. Hackenschmidt wound up being busted open as Brazil nailed him with a big hammer punch resulting in a near fall. Hackenschmidt usually dominates his opponents but this time it was Brazil delivering the serious punishment. Things looked really bad for the bloody “Russian Lion” when Brazil went to the second rope for a deathjump (ch) nailing him with a headbutt. Brazil then followed up with his trademark Coco Butt and covered Hackenschmidt to score the pin and retain the title. It was a huge win for Brazil who survived a rematch with the former three-time LOW World Heavyweight champion.

Thoroughly enjoyed the no-DQ encounter pitting the team of Moxley & Black against Albert & Spivey... Even though my favorites list this time out, I can't wait to see these guys take it to the next level - Falls Count Anywhere... Snap!
Roddy Strong is still holding onto the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title... Incredible accomplishment... And Bobo Brazil was superb in the main event, retaining the LOW World Heavyweight Championship against a very worthy challenger...
Tremendous show from the Sheffield Arena in England... Excellent work, as always!

My favorite time in your LOW is underway and that is the PWiT, so seeing Don Muraco lose is a letdown for me. Seventeen defenses for Strong is really cool stuff, it'll be great if he can reach 20 and just be that guy whose making records happen...

Thanks for the comments Crimson and Pariah. I also love PWI tournament time and like many I am a big Don Muraco fan so was also bummed to see him lose. The consolation prize for me is that I am also a Fred Blassie fan so to say that match was tough to roll out would be an understatement. Now I know how Pariah feels with Jon Moxley booked against The Mountie later in the qualifying round!
As for Roderick Strong I am using the Evolve 2 card for him. He has had an amazing run and one that makes me happy since I often have so many hot potato title changes. Next up will be LOW All-Star Wrestling which I will hopefully have finished up soon.

Welcome to the UK! Great show in the Steel City. Really enjoyed Bockwinkel and Hodge battling Million Dollar Man and Kurrgan- don't think that one is over! Also I want to see Roderick Strong get to 20. Who can stop him and the devious Martini? Cheers for the seats- we went out to a club with Adrian Street afterwards!
