I remember when LWPD said the boards could crash if a thread went over 100 pages. I think we're OK.

World of Sport was a great show. Martin Stone vs Finlay is a match I would really like to see live.

Thanks for the comments on the World of Sport show Pariah, Crimson, Joebreakdown, Bookerbill and Vegas. I loved the atmospheric description Joe, that was good. I am really enjoying doing the WOS shows and the rounds system most definitely helped out Blackjack Mulligan there as he just hung on at the end evening things up in the last round to retain the title.
Bundy vs. OMG was really fun and I liked your reference to the fifth round finish, Pariah. Shynron over Zack Sabre Jr. for the second straight time was a shocker but not sure if Shynron will be returning to WOS as he is part of the KRU roster. Sabre will need to rebound next time. Stone vs. Finlay was really fun to roll out and I agree that would be a fun match to see for real.
Next up will be the latest edition of LOW All Star Wrestling which I hope to have posted soon. Thanks again for the comments guys it is really appreciated.

Great writing and storytelling element Cruefan! I don't know that I can read all 354 pages to fully catch up, but what I have read is really entertaining. Engaging storytelling and fun mixed matchups. I'll be bookmarking and following up for sure!

Thanks for the comments Jobber83. Reading all 354 pages would be a real chore I agree so just start off where you want. If you would like to just see what happened on all of my WrestleCade events (My WrestleMania-Starrcade combo) just check out my title histories section and you can check out what happened on those. I am snowed in today so I finished this card and thus I present a rare weekday edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling, I hope you enjoy it...
LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 65) - WMC-TV5 Studios - Memphis, TN (Card #1061)
The broadcast opened with still shots of the past battles between LOW World Heavyweight champion Johnny Valentine and Andre the Giant (Card #1016 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY and Card #1024 at The Forum in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) provided by PWI Editor Bill Apter and Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Andre won both of the matches via disqualification but after the bout in Montreal both he and his manager Bobby Heenan were suspended due to assaulting their own handpicked referee Bill Alfonso. The two have since been reinstated and have been petitioning for another title shot based on Andre, who remains undefeated, winning both of the matches. The photo montage transitioned into a feed direct from New York City where Andre and Heenan were seated at a conference table opposite Valentine who had the LOW World Heavyweight title placed in front of him. LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox was seated at the head of the table and said that after some serious negotiations between both parties they had come to an agreement on a third championship meeting.
He said that the rematch has been signed and will once again be at Madison Square Garden (Card #1065) and this time it will be inside of a Steel Cage. Cox said that both parties had also been allowed to submit stipulations and that Valentine selected five minutes alone with Heenan in the cage if he wins. The stipulation selected by Andre was that if he wins the world title then Valentine will have to leave LOW for the remainder of the year. Both parties also agreed to allow for escape the cage rules in addition to pinfall or submission rules. Cox announced his own stipulation and that would be that Heenan would be handcuffed to Bobo Brazil at ringside in order to prevent both men from interfering. That drew complaints from Heenan but Andre cut him off by placing his large hand over the mouth of his manager. Cox then thanked them for taking part in getting the rematch signed and wished both men luck. At that point Andre stood up and put his hands on the table while staring directly at Valentine saying in a thick French accent “I don’t need any luck, I will get that championship and remain the only undefeated man in LOW!” Valentine stood up defiantly staring at Andre before security rushed in to prevent a physical altercation. Andre let out a bellowing laugh and grabbed Heenan walking out of the room as Valentine had to be restrained by security.
The video ended and announcers Lance Russell and Dave Brown took over in the studio but before they could even begin talking about it they were interrupted by Sherri Martel and SSA, Inc. members The Mountie, Dr. Tom Prichard and the Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho). A flustered Russell got up to see what they wanted when Sherri pushed him back down into his chair and grabbed the microphone.
SM: “Lance Russell you shut up this is my time to talk. I don’t care about Andre and Valentine or anyone else for that matter. I saw Charlie Cox on that video and if he had any guts he would be standing here right now explaining to me why my “Buddy Bear”, Playboy Buddy Rose, has been suspended indefinitely from Pacific Coast Wrestling! I want answers and until I get them we are taking over this show. You stay right where you are, Russell, and you too Brown if you know what is good for you. I am an eight-time SHIMMER champion and the leader of the greatest assemblage of talent in SSA, Inc. and have been shown nothing but disrespect. Buddy Rose and my boys did everyone a favor by putting that out of shape old man Tugboat Taylor out of action. Now his son, Chaz, thinks he is hot stuff and that I wanted to be with him when he is nothing but a little boy and not a real man like Buddy. The Taylor’s got in our way and we taught them a lesson but here comes Cox saying that Buddy is suspended indefinitely and I’m not going to take that lightly. This show is ours so you can tell everyone in the back to go home because we are going to take over that ring right now!”
Before SSA, Inc and Martel could follow up on that they were confronted by PG-13 (J.C.Ice & Wolfie D), a popular pairing on ASW, which drew a big pop from the studio audience. Russell and Brown also looked on pleased as someone was standing up to Martel and her men. Ice grabbed the mic away from Martel and ran into the ring followed by Wolfie D. He went on a verbal tirade against targeting The Mountie who used the Shock Stick on him on the last edition of ASW following an unsuccessful bid by Ice to win the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title from Blackjack Mulligan. He called The Mountie a “coward” and brought up he also was unable to beat Mulligan in their title match. The Mountie tried to head into the ring but was held back by Prichard and the Hangmen. Martel then got up on the apron and took a swipe at Ice who quickly stepped out of the way. Wolfie D then flipped her over the ropes and into the ring embarrassing her. Prichard ran over and quickly pulled her out to safety as PG-13 high fived each other to another pop from the fans. Ice then demanded that The Mountie get into the ring but he was still being held back leading to PG-13 poking fun at him. An angry Martel ran over to the announce table grabbing Brown’s microphone and shrieked that if PG-13 want a fight they have got one and she ordered the Texas Hangmen to take care of business. A referee ran in to get in between the two teams as ASW officials ordered The Mountie and Prichard to return to the back. Martel then slammed the microphone back down on the table and headed to ringside as Brown gave a rundown of the show to come.
DB: “Lance that was chaotic but it looks like we have some unscheduled action to kick things off and it will be PG-13 moving out against the Texas Hangmen with Sherri Martel in their corner. In addition to that we have a great lineup today featuring the “Golden Greek” John Tolos, John Pesek & The Terrible Turk in tag team action, the dangerous Sabu and Kevin Sullivan will be here with the Army of Darkness for a big six-man tag team match. We will also have a pre-taped interview with the great Bobo Brazil and much more but now let’s go right up to the ring for this explosive opening tag team match.”
1) Texas Hangmen defeated PG-13: This match got off to a furious start as PG-13 (J.C. Ice & Wolfie D) took on the Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho, with Sherri Martel). PG-13 were in full control as they took the fight to the larger Hangmen. After a counter Running Lariat out of the corner by Wolfie D it was the Hangmen employing a controversial tactic as they switched places with Psycho replacing Killer. Martel looked on pleased as a fresh Killer turned the tables on PG-13. Moments later the Hangmen hit the Neckbreaker and Falling Sledge tandem attack on Wolfie D with Killer covering him to score a snake eyes pin. The victory wasn’t enough, however, as The Mountie and Dr. Tom Prichard rushed the ring helping to deliver a four-on-two assault on PG-13. Martel directed traffic as the Hangman and Prichard assaulted Ice and The Mountie used the Shock Stick on Wolfie D. The assault was finally stopped when the Heartbreak Express (Phil & Sean Davis) rushed in to make the save. SSA, Inc. backed off returning to the locker room while Phil went over to the announce table and angrily stated that the Express and PG-13 were going to go to PCW to exact some revenge.
2) Judy Martin defeated Ida Mae Martinez: Ring Angels action was featured next as Ida Mae Martinez, a former Ring Angels champion, took on Judy Martin, one-half of the Glamour Girls. Martinez is one of the more popular and talented women stars in LOW, having also been a four-time SHIMMER champion, but she was off her game here. Martin honed in on her early and unleashed a strong attack. A double leg slingshot led to a big near fall for Martin and left Martinez in a bad way. Martin then delivered a face first suplex and a Hair Pull Whirly Bird before diving on top of Martinez to score the pin. It was an impressive win by Martin who should be in line for a shot at the Ring Angels title which is currently held by Mildred Burke.
● Music Video Promo – Power Surge: A music video promo aired of the Kings Road United tag team of Power Surge (William Forve & Paul Pope) set to Not Fakin’ It by Michael Monroe. Highlight scenes included both men outside the ring with Forve playing baseball and Pope playing hockey, two sports that they competed in prior to entering the KRU Dojo. There were also some great action shots of them in the ring for KRU where thus far they have won over seventy percent of their matches. That included great footage of their recent victory over Giant Bernard & Dan Spivey at the Seibu Dome (Card #1050). When the action packed video concluded Lance Russell noted that Power Surge have been rewarded for their efforts as they will be facing the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) for the LOW World tag team titles upcoming in Sapporo, Japan (Card #1063).
3) Ricky Landell defeated John Tolos: Popular ASW competitor Ricky Landell out of St. Paul, MN, took on a tough challenge in PCW star “Golden Greek” John Tolos of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Early action saw the advantage traded evenly before Tolos took over. He confidently attacked Landell and looked on his way to victory when suddenly his arch-rival Fred Blassie showed up sitting in the front row. Tolos was extremely upset over seeing Blassie and took his concentration off of his opponent. Landell took full advantage of that and scored a two count with a missile dropkick. With Tolos still stunned it was Landell catching him with a Fisherman’s Buster to score the pin. The crowd went crazy as Landell pulled off a huge upset victory. Tolos kicked the ropes in anger and his anger intensified when Blassie went over to the announce table and said “And that is why you spell wrestling B-L-A-S-S-I-E haha!” Tolos had to be restrained by LOW officials as Blassie left through the side door laughing at him. It was later learned that Blassie would face Tolos in a No DQ Match on the next PCW card in Denver, CO (Card #1066).
4) Kevin Sullivan, BJ Whitmer & Damien Martinez defeated Lanny Poffo, Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill: “Leaping” Lanny Poffo, Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill bravely stood in the ring as the Army of Darkness made their way out of the locker room. The lights eerily flickered inside the television studio as Kevin Sullivan, caked in white, black and red makeup, led BJ Whitmer and “The Punishment” Damien Martinez to the ring. The three were flanked by Lord Zoltan and Blackwater who were jointly carrying a huge python snake. Some shrieks were heard in the crowd as Lance Russell called for calm amidst all of this madness. The referee called for LOW officials to have Zoltan and Blackwater removed from ringside but they used the snake to back them off. Sullivan then called for order sending the two men and the snake to the back much to the relief of everyone at ringside. Early action in the match saw Doring hit the Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma’am, a double arm Implant DDT, on Sullivan for a two count. Roadkill then brought his 302-pound frame off of the top rope with a flying bodypress on Sullivan for another near fall. The Army of Darkness turned thing around with Whitmer assaulting Poffo both in and out of the ring. He planted him with a buckle bomb and tagged in “The Punishment”, an intimidating 6’7” and 272-pounder from The Caribbean. Martinez manhandled Poffo and finished him off with South of Heaven, a sit-out chokeslam, to score the pin. Sullivan laughed maniacally as his men picked up a solid win causing Brown to ask who is going to be able to stop the Army of Darkness?
5) Sabu defeated George South: The capable George South out of Charlotte, NC, had the tough task of facing CWA star Sabu who was accompanied by his manager Abdullah Farouk. Sabu took over early but then missed with a Triple Jump Moonsault. That gave South an opening and he battled back hard but was unable to gain a fall. Sabu struck with the slingshot legdrop and huracanrana for a near fall before hitting the controversial chair assisted Arabian Facebuster. South was done at that point and Farouk happily looked on as Sabu applied the Camel Clutch scoring a submission victory. Farouk stopped by the announce table afterward and said that he and Sabu were leaving for the airport where they will be joining the noble Sheik en route to Japan for a Kings Road United tour. Russell said that they will likely unleash some mayhem on the tour and said that joining them will be such stars as Bruiser Brody and Don Leo Jonathan along with three championship matches taking place. Farouk said that the only thing that matters is The Sheik and Sabu and he vowed that his men would leave Japan undefeated.
● Interview – Bobo Brazil: PWI Editor Bill Apter conducted this exclusive pre-taped interview with Bobo Brazil at the magazine offices in Blue Bell, PA. The interview took place hours after the decision came down for the world title rematch in the Steel Cage between Andre the Giant and Johnny Valentine. Apter opened with questioning on that and Brazil said that he is very happy to be a part of that match as he will be handcuffed to “that no good weasel Bobby Heenan” at ringside. Brazil said that will guarantee that Heenan will not be able to interfere in the match and force Andre and Valentine to finally have a decisive winner. Apter asked if Brazil had a favorite to win the match and he said that it didn’t matter as no matter who wins he will be looking to gain the next shot at the LOW World Heavyweight title and become a four-time champion. He said that he respects both men and has been in the ring with both and knows that he can get the job done when it counts. Apter noted that Andre is undefeated, and in fact won a match over Brazil recently, but the Benton Harbor, MI, native said that he takes each match as a new opportunity and said that if Valentine doesn’t get it done against Andre that he will. Apter said that Brazil has great confidence which is important when it comes to getting in the ring. Brazil agreed and said that he is looking forward to that night at MSG and he dared “the weasel” to try and interfere in the match. Apter thanked Brazil for his time and said that he will also be there that night at MSG to catch all of the action.
6) John Pesek & The Terrible Turk defeated Backseat Boys by DQ: The expiration of time match saw the Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere) taking on the GAW tandem of John Pesek & The Terrible Turk. Acid got off to a nice start hitting the double knee in the corner and superkick on Pesek. Pesek countered back with a front chancery and eye gouge transitioning into a body triangle and crossface. The Turk tagged in and hit a rib crusher before tossing Acid out of the ring where the battle continued. Pesek and The Turk had control assaulting both men on the floor until suddenly a large man charged in brandishing a chair. That turned out to be Don Leo Jonathan, the “Mormon Giant”, and he got chair shots in on both Pesek and The Turk until they escaped to the back. Jonathan was dealing some payback to the two men who assaulted him on a recent GAW card. Pesek and The Turk won it by disqualification but had some welts left on them courtesy of Jonathan. The big man then went to the announce table and said that he is late for his flight to Japan but he needed to deliver a message to Pesek and The Turk. Russell said he understood and thanked the fans for tuning in to another edition of ASW.

Another fab show! Maybe I have asked you this before, but who are Power Surge?! Fun montage (A bit 'Thrillseekers I feel!) And great to see Michael Monroe used for the montage- was lucky enough to play a festival with him last Summer! Really shocked to see Landell take out John Tolos, although it seems Mr Tolos may have been distracted. I'm looking forward to seeing 'Classy' Freddie Blassie tangle with the man who spells wrestling T-O-L-O-S. Elsewhere, I'm always pleased to see Sabu in action, albeit it a bit of a workout before he heads to the far East, and the Army Of Darkness scored a comfortable victory of Doering, Roadkill and everyone's favourite wrestling poet, Lanny Poffo.
Nice interview with Brazil too- if one man can keep Heenan in check, then it's him!
Great stuff, as always!

Another excellent offering... Especially enjoyed watching SSA, Inc. (featuring The Mountie) teach those young upstarts, PG-13, a lesson in manners... And if the Heartbreak Express want to get involved in something that was none of their business, I'm sure Sherri's boys will be more than happy to oblige...
Sullivan's Army of Darkness continue to impress... Great to see them starting out so strong...
Congratulations to Power Surge on their big opportunity... Taking the tag straps from the Road Warriors will not be an easy task... But, I would love to see them give Hawk and Animal a run for their money...
Of course, the rematch between Andre and Johnny Valentine for the top prize in LOW has gotta be one of the most highly anticipated matches in history... And it's going to take place inside the Steel Cage... That deserves the most righteous 'Holy snap!' of all-time... Can't wait!

Power Surge are my creation and Kevin Knipe of Krazy Kards drew them up for me, they were original creations going way back in the late 90's... cruefan68 I've got to say I amp'd to see them face the Road Warriors and I'm hoping they'll win the gold, plus that was a cool setup video segment you did for them...
