I look to see who will fill out your LU roster and does this mean your losing a territory or its another addition? What a title defense by Mulligan and Sabu taking on a mild concussion proves that was a rough fight, top stuff...

Haha! Both Styles AND The Mountie qualify for the PWI Invitational... Two of my favorites in the game... Too sweet!
As a colossal LU fan, I'm really excited to see your take on their unique brand of entertainment... Plenty of those guys are officially part of the FG universe, so it almost seems appropriate at this point... Can't wait!

Another excellent card. I laughed reading that Cornette in agony after the loss. I pictured him throwing one of his patented tantrums but great win for MVC. That Baba vs Bundy match at WC11 is going to be epic. I like that Mulligan retained the TV title. IMO, he's one of the most underrated cards we have in LOW.

Thanks for the comments Bennett1975, Crimson, Pariah and gabe72. Jim Cornette in agony is always a fun sight and yes he had to be when his Midnight Express failed to take the gold. Blackjack Mulligan had a pretty dominant win over Sabu which surprised me. The injury angle came via snake eyes and as we know Sabu always wrestled injured that's why I put in that he was ordered out by LOW. I'm happy that you guys enjoyed the card and the continuing qualifying matches for the PWI Cup. Pariah, I knew you would be ecstatic especially with The Mountie winning. He even did it without Sherri Martel involved which really surprised me. He really gutted out a tough, albeit controversial win, over Antonino Rocca.
As for Lucha Underground, it will be an additional territory in my fed so it will join the CWA, PCW, KRU, WOS, GAW, ASW, SHIMMER, IWA and 8MW on the calendar for next year. This gives me an even ten promotions to run and I have already slotted it into a number of dates sacrificing a few CWA and IWA ones to get it just right. The LU debut is still a little ways off (Card #1103) but I already can't wait to get it going.

Thanks for the comments Bookerbill. Ten is a nice round number and I am looking forward to running Lucha Underground. I have some nice plans underway for it already. Next up is ladies action from SHIMMER which sets up the final card of the year for the promotion, I hope you enjoy it...
SHIMMER - Women Athletes - Volume 41 - The Eagles Club - Berwyn, IL (Card #1078)
1) Lufisto & Jordynne Grace defeated Nikki Roxx & Ariel: The opening contest saw SHIMMER newcomers Nikki Roxx & Ariel going up against Lufisto & Jordynne Grace, also known as Team PAWG. Lufisto and Grace had a strong debut at Volume 40 and were looking to continue that success. Roxx and Ariel looked sharp for a good stretch with both executing some of their key moves. Roxx took the lead for the team but soon found herself in trouble. After a Diamond Dust by Grace it was Team PAWG nailing Roxx with the Weapon of Ass Destruction leading to Lufisto scoring the pin. Amber Gertner interviewed Team PAWG at ringside post-match and they vowed to use their âposterior based offenseâ to claim tag team gold in SHIMMER.
2) Kay Lee Ray defeated Su Yung: The popular Kay Lee Ray out of Glasgow, Scotland, took on the capable Su Yung of Seattle, WA, in singles action. Ray held control early until Yung caught her with a jaw breaker. Yung followed with a deathjump that took out the referee in the process. With the official down Yung executed the Tornado DDT but was unable to get the pin. Ray rebounded strong after the referee recovered and twice hit the Swanton Bomb on Yung to score a snake eyes pin. Veteran star Malia Hosaka ran in post-match and joined Yung in an attack on Ray. The two then left the ring as Ray recovered and challenged Hosaka to a match at Volume 42 which she accepted.
3) Jessica James defeated Athena: The âWrestling Goddessâ Athena was looking to score a big win as she took on another highly-ranked star in Jessica James. Unfortunately for Athena this one was all James who dominated from the opening bell. James quickly struck with a standing Moonsault and Le Petite Morte, a low range huracanrana, for near falls. Athena bailed out of the ring but the break seemed to help James more. The Dallas, TX, native continued her strong attack and scored another near fall with The JJ Kick, a handstand scorpion kick, for a big near fall. Athena made a last-ditch attempt at a comeback but James survived that and hit a second JJ Kick to score the pin. Amber Gertner attempted to interview Athena following her disappointing loss but she refused to talk and headed back to the locker room.
4) Regeneration-X defeated Crazy Mary Dobson & Courtney Rush: The popular pairing of Regeneration-X (Allison Danger & Leva Bates) hit the ring to take on Crazy Mary Dobson & Courtney Rush in grudge tag team action. R-X were in comic book gear this time as they dressed like the Wonder Twins from the Justice League. It was âWonder Twin Powers Activateâ for R-X as they really took the fight to Dobson while the bizarre Rush, sporting grotesque face paint, stalked them from the ring apron. Dobson was in serious trouble when Bates got her with a Shiranui and a top rope flying bodypress for consecutive near falls. R-X then combined on the Medusa Cascade on Dobson before Danger knocked Rush off the ring apron with a big running forearm. Moments later R-X leveled Dobson with the Sonic Screwdriver, a lung blower and neckbreaker combo, with Danger covering her for the pin.
Davina Rose ran in afterward to celebrate with the victorious R-X but they were jumped from behind by Dobson, Rush and Rhia OâReilly. That set off a wild brawl which took place all over the ringside area prompting SHIMMER officials to get involved. Promoter Dave Prazak said that something needed to be done to settle this rivalry and he ordered a trios match at Volume 42 with high stakes involved as the loser of the fall will be forced to leave SHIMMER.
5) Canadian Ninjas defeated Sassy Stephie & Nevaeh: High stakes were also involved in this match-up of former SHIMMER tag team champions as the S-N-S Express (Sassy Stephie & Nevaeh) faced the Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews) with a title shot on the line. The winning team would face newly crowned champions Made In Sin (Allysin Kay & Taylor Made) for the belts in one of the feature matches at Volume 42. These two teams have had some memorable battles but this may have been the best one yet. The action took place in and out of the ring and featured some great near falls. Nevaeh scored two of them as she hit the Backpack Stunner on both Perez and Matthews during the match. The Ninjas did an excellent job of dominating at one point and hit Funky Cold Medina, a superkick and German Suplex combo, on Neveah but Stephie made the save. Stephie was aggressive when she was in and nearly put Matthews away with a sleeper hold. Matthews returned the favor hitting the Vancouver Maneuver, a rolling cutter, on her for another near fall. The build to the finish saw both teams gunning for the win but in the end a second dose of Funky Cold Medina by the Ninjas saw Matthews score the pin on Nevaeh. That means that the record four-time champions the Ninjas will get the title opportunity against Made In Sin.
6) Candice LeRae defeated Angelus Layne: Promoter Dave Prazak had a very special announcement to make prior to this match between Candice LeRae and Angelus Layne. He said that both women had earned a title opportunity and that the winner of the match would face the Heart of SHIMMER champion during WrestleCade 11 weekend. That gave both women added incentive to get the victory and it showed in their performances. There were some great exchanges in the early going before Layne outmaneuvered LeRae hitting a front flip neckbreaker and a bridging Northern Lights Suplex. Layne held control until an attempted back bodydrop saw LeRae counter with a backslide for a quick two count. Moments later it was LeRae surprising Layne with the Balls Plex to score the pin and earn the shot at the Heart of SHIMMER title.
7) Taeler Hendrix & Kelly Klein defeated Trish Stratus & Barbi Hayden: A grudge tag team battle saw Trish Stratus & Barbi Hayden team up against brash SHIMMER newcomers Taeler Hendrix & Kelly Klein. Stratus suffered a loss to Hendrix at Volume 41 thanks to interference by Klein and it was Hayden coming to her rescue with a chair saving her from a post-match double-team attack. The tension was high from the outset with all four women poised for battle. Stratus took the fight to Hendrix after the opening bell including catching her with Air Canada. Hayden got in some offense as well before Hendrix blasted her with a palm strike. The powerful Klein took over and, after a stand powerslam, she fired Hayden out of the ring continuing the assault. The referee was distracted by Stratus and Hendrix going at it inside leading to Klein blasting Hayden with a series of chair shots to the back. That left Hayden in a bad way and once back in the ring it was Klein locking on the End of the Match resulting in a submission victory for her team.
The crowd jeered the decision as Hendrix taunted Stratus while standing behind Klein. Stratus was visibly upset and argued with the referee but the decision stood. Hayden, meanwhile, recovered from the attack and got up questioning Stratus before the two got into a shoving match drawing devious laughter from Hendrix. SHIMMER officials got involved cooling things down but it was clear that Hayden was upset that Stratus failed to save her from the attack by Klein. Promoter Dave Prazak got involved and said that if Stratus and Hayden wanted to settle their differences they could do it in a singles match at Volume 42. Stratus readily agreed to it as did Hayden leading to more laughter from Hendrix who led Klein to the back. Prazak then made a major announcement that the main event at Volume 42, which will be the year end show for SHIMMER, will be Saraya Knight defending her SHIMMER title against two-time champion Cheerleader Melissa which drew a big pop from the crowd.
8) Heart of SHIMMER title: Madison Eagles defeated Sara Del Ray© by DQ: The main event saw Sara Del Ray putting the Heart of SHIMMER title on the line against a very determined challenger in Madison Eagles. Candice LeRae took a seat at ringside to scout her possible opponent in the championship match during WrestleCade 11 weekend. Eagles, a native of Sydney, Australia, got off to a strong start working over Del Ray. The champion made a flying tackle counter off the ropes and then caught Eagles in a Cross Arm Breaker going for the submission but it was broken up in the ropes. Del Ray then executed a superplex and floated over on top of Eagles for a big near fall. Eagles made a counter late and tossed Del Ray out of the ring where the two had a furious exchange which saw Eagles shove Del Ray into LeRae knocking her out of her chair. LeRae was shaken up as Del Ray, upset over that turn of events, delivered a series of strikes to Eagles before running her head first into the ring post. LeRae then ran over and decked the stunned Eagles resulting in the referee calling for the bell. Eagles was awarded the win by disqualification allowing Del Ray to retain the title on the controversial decision. Del Ray was not happy and argued with LeRae forcing SHIMMER officials to once again get involved. Promoter Dave Prazak said that since Eagles was robbed of a chance to win the title he was going to make it a Triple Threat Elimination match for the belt at WrestleCade 11 weekend in St. Paul, MN (Card #1098) with Del Ray defending the belt against both LeRae and Eagles.

IWA - Monsters of the Midway - Logan Square Auditorium - Chicago, IL (Card #1079)IWA On The Mat: âą Announcers Gavin Loudspeaker and Larry Dallas welcomed the television audience to the latest edition of IWA On The Mat featuring the debut of no less than three newcomers to the promotion. One of them, James âMain Eventâ Morgan, interrupted them and said that he was not satisfied with his scheduled opponent Ron Hutchison. He said that he would not work against a âlowly rankedâ opponent and not in the opening bout on the program. He said that if he wrestles on television it will only be in the main event. Dallas agreed with him and apparently so did IWA Commissioner David Marquez who sent word that Morgan will be in the main event on the show against âworthy competitionâ. Morgan seemed pleased and told the announcers to expect the âperformance of a lifetimeâ from the âMain Eventâ in the main event. 1) Jeff Cobb defeated Dick Justice: The highly-anticipated debut of âMr. Athleticâ Jeff Cobb, a native of Honolulu, HI, saw him take on âSupercopâ Dick Justice. âThe Machineâ Brian Cage, joined by his manager Percy Pringle III, showed up at ringside distracting Cobb during the introductions. Justice jumped Cobb at the bell but it backfired. Cobb quickly caught him with the Roller Coaster, a rolling German Suplex, scoring the pin in less than thirty seconds. Cage smirked and walked off with Pringle saying âI know that dude from somewhere.â 2) Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy defeated Cheeseburger & Chavo Pequeno: A competitive tag team bout saw Cheeseburger & Chavo Pequeno take on Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy, the latter of whom was making his IWA debut. Taylor was in great spirits as he reunited with the often-sleepy Cassidy, the two having been members of the âGentlemanâs Clubâ stable that they were a part of in Evolve. Cassidy looked good during his time in as he avoided falling asleep and nearly put Pequeno away with the Orange Squeeze. Pequeno would rally back late in the match and hit the Gory Special on Cassidy but Taylor made the save. With the time limit nearly running out an aggressive Taylor nailed Cheeseburger with a Somersault Suicide Dive and rolled him up back inside to score the pin. 3) Tyler Black & Drew Galloway defeated Big Sue Jackson & George Gatton: The crowd popped for the arrival of The Shield (Tyler Black & Drew Galloway) as they took on Big Sue Jackson & George Gatton. The announcers brought up the fact that Jon Moxley, the third member of The Shield, had a huge match with Randy âMacho Manâ Savage later on the card which fans could watch live by signing up for the IWA On Demand option on the web site. The Shield were dominant here although credit Jackson with giving them a fight. Gatton was less fortunate as Black and Galloway worked him over for a good stretch. The finish saw Galloway blast Big Sue with a forearm smash as Black came off the top rope with the Phoenix Splash on Gatton for the pin. 4) Sami Callihan defeated James Morgan: James âMain Eventâ Morgan got more than he bargained for as his new opponent was âThe Callihan Death Machineâ Sami Callihan. Morgan got on the mic protesting Callihan being named his opponent and demanded that Ron Hutchison come to the ring. IWA Commissioner David Marquez reminded Morgan that he wanted a main event match and ordered him to wrestle or have his contract terminated. Morgan thought about leaving but then ran back into the ring as the referee began issuing a ten count. Morgan was aggressive in the early going but Callihan fought right back and laid him out with an exploder suplex. After a double clothesline out of the corner it was Callihan who recovered first and he trapped Morgan in the Stretch Muffler. Morgan tried to escape but was forced to tap out giving Callihan a submission victory. Morgan went crazy post-match claiming that he never tapped out but only Larry Dallas would believe him. Callihan then led the crowd in a âYou Tapped Outâ chant as the broadcast ended. ********** 5) Tommaso Ciampa vs. Darby Allin was a Draw: Two more IWA newcomers opened the non-televised portion of the show as Tommaso Ciampa took on Darby Allin. Allin a native of Seattle, WA, has gained great notoriety for his daredevil style and that was on display here. He attacked Ciampa multiple times from the air hitting moves like the senton atomico and springboard headscissors. Ciampa struck back late hitting Project Ciampa but Allin got his foot over the bottom rope to break up the pin. With time running out it was Allin executing a crucifix for a near fall but then the bell sounded ending the match in a time limit draw. 6) Trent Barreta defeated Delirious by DQ: The popular Trent Barreta, who has been on a real roll of late, had a tough draw as he took on former IWA Heavyweight Champion Delirious who was accompanied by his manager Truth Martini. Unfortunately for Barreta he never got the chance for a fair victory as Delirious jumped him before the bell assaulting him with a series of chair shots. Martini directed the carnage as Delirious laid in more chair shots to the back. IWA officials had to run in as Martini called off Delirious. Barreta had to be helped to the back but fortunately he was not seriously injured. Martini grabbed the mic and said that was just a âsmall exampleâ of what Delirious and the House of Truth are capable of. 7) Rob Van Dam, Austin Aries & Rich Swann vs. Adam Pearce, Matt Cross & Eric Watts was a Draw: A big trios match saw Rob Van Dam, âA Doubleâ Austin Aries & Rich Swann join forces to do battle with âScrap Ironâ Adam Pearce, Matt Cross & Eric Watts. Ty Matthews, the manager of Watts, was at ringside for his team. He had to be pleased as Watts scored a big near fall on Aries with the Murder Bomb late in the match. Both sides had great stretches of offense and a lot of focus was on the intense rivalry between RVD and Pearce. RVD hit the Van Daminator on both Pearce and Watts during the match. Pearce came back and had Swann pinned after the Jumping Piledriver but RVD broke that up. Aries and Cross, who hit the spectacular Space Flying Tiger Drop at one point, also played key roles for their teams. There was no winner decided, however, as the match went the distance resulting in a time limit draw. 8) Kevin Steen defeated Willie Mack: âDa Mackâ Willie Mack, one of the most popular wrestlers in the IWA, took on âWrestlingâs Worst Nightmareâ Kevin Steen, perhaps the most hated wrestler in the IWA. Hard hitting would be the best way to describe this match as the Mack took the fight to Steen. He executed both MDX and the Chocolate Thunder Bomb early nearly putting Steen away. Steen came back using the sharpshooter to significant effect and took to the air hitting the high-angle senton bomb. He had the Mack in trouble but the popular star bounced back and hit a second Chocolate Thunder Bomb for a big near fall. Steen later hit the devastating power bomb onto the ring apron and that turned the tide. Mack was hurt and Steen soon after delivered F-Cinq, a firemanâs carry facebuster, to score the pin. 9) Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated Kings of Wrestling by DQ: A highly-anticipated tag team match saw Londrick (Paul London & Brian Kendrick) take on former IWA tag team champions the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli). The KOW showed why they are three-time IWA tag team champions as they dominated for a good stretch including hitting KRS Two on London for a big near fall. London made the hot tag shortly after and Kendrick exploded into action catching Hero with a tornado DDT and a shooting star press. Hero went for the Loaded Rolling Elbow Smash but Kendrick avoided it and went up top only to be thwarted as Castagnoli grabbed him from the ring apron. Hero picked Kendrick off with a bodyslam and tagged Castagnoli who hit a piledriver on him. Kendrick bailed to the outside where a four-way battle took place. Castagnoli wound up spearing Kendrick head first into the ring post which led to the referee calling for a disqualification. Londrick won it but were the worse for wear as Kendrick needed assistance back to the locker room. 10) Randy Savage defeated Jon Moxley by DQ: The next match was a highly-anticipated one as Randy âMacho Manâ Savage took on Shield member Jon Moxley. This rivalry has been brewing for a while as the two have had some pretty intense confrontations. The crowd was split in their support of the two popular stars who were primed and ready for battle. This match was about as intense as it gets with the two men trading holds and strikes throughout. Savage gained the upper hand late and hit the Flying Axe Handle for a two count. Sensing victory he went back up to the top rope and nailed Moxley with the Flying Elbow Smash but when the referee reached the two count the pin was interrupted by Tyler Black and Drew Galloway. The Shield members quickly went into attack mode on Savage as the referee called for the bell. Savage won it by disqualification but found himself at the mercy of Moxley, Black and Galloway until a surprise run-in occurred. reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle OâReilly), who were on stand-by, hit the ring to save Savage setting up a six-way brawl. The result is that Savage will be teaming up with reDRagon against The Shield when the IWA returns to Manhattan, NY (Card #1089). 11) IWA J-Crown title: Will Ospreay defeated Ricochet to win the title: The IWA J-Crown title was on the line in a battle of aerial artists as Ricochet defended the belt against the âAerial Assassinâ Will Ospreay. This was another match where the crowd was split in their support due to the popularity of both wrestlers. Ospreay was on fire early including countering a suplex and striking with a handspring rebound enzuigiri. He then hit a standing shooting star press for a two count. Ricochet battled back and went for the 630 Senton but he missed the mark and Ospreay cradled him for a big near fall. The danger of that finisher nearly cost Ricochet big time. The champion battled back again hitting an over the ring post dive followed by a double rotation Moonsault for a near fall. The crowd was going wild by this point as the two men were laying it all on the line. The finish came when Ricochet missed another 630 Senton and Ospreay came back executing Jump Tuck Pray, a double rotation Moonsault, to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as Ospreay became the new IWA J-Crown champion in spectacular fashion. Ricochet showed great class post-match by shaking hands with Ospreay and presenting him with the title belt. â 12) IWA Heavyweight title: Jay Lethal© defeated Johnny Gargano to retain the title: The main event saw IWA Survival of the Fittest winner Johnny Gargano challenge Jay Lethal for the IWA Heavyweight title. Lethal, who was accompanied by his manager SoCal Val, looked confident entering the ring even though Gargano won the Survival of the Fittest in a clean sweep. It was perhaps a cover for his real feelings about facing a very determined challenger. Gargano looked great throughout the early going as he twice trapped Lethal in the Gargano Escape for submission chances. Lethal got a rope break both times with the second one coming with an assist from SoCal Val. She would play a big part later in the match. Lethal mounted an offensive after that including executing both the Lethal Injection and the Koji Clutch but Gargano avoided defeat. The battle took a bad turn for the challenger late as Lethal tossed him out of the ring. SoCal Val, out of view of the referee, kicked Gargano in the back of the knee. She then provided a distraction as Lethal jumped out and jammed a chair into Garganoâs leg several times. Lethal then tossed Gargano back in and trapped him in the Figure Four Leglock which led to him getting a submission victory. The crowd jeered the victory for Lethal who survived a tough version four title defense tying him with Michael Elgin for the record.

Solid mix of action. Enjoyed the visual of Lethal going good after the leg with a chair the getting good the submission.

As usual, IWA delivers in a big way... From that brief encounter between Cobb and Cage that I hope leads to something monstrously memorable... To Gargano falling just short in his bid to become the IWA Heavyweight champion thanks to some highly tactical (and somewhat underhanded) moves by Lethal...
Totally stoked to see Callihan emerge triumphant over Morgan in the TV main event... Can't wait to see what's next for the New Horror...
The setup for the six-man tag bout between Savage & reDRagon versus the Shield was brilliant... And Truth Martini seemed to make some heavy implications after Delirious assaulted Barreta... Is the House of Truth on the verge of something sinister?
Huge congratulations to Ospreay on claiming the J-Crown... Watching him face off with Ricochet is a spectacle like nothing else... It would be awesome to see a rematch between the two highest flyers in the game...
Awesome stuff!
