Fun show but especially the last two matches...love the crazy teams and anyone beating Dutch in a Coal Miner's Glove match is impressive.

The fans asked for it but could not have been happy about Dutch Savage losing his first Coal Miner's Glove match. Sounds like it was good despite the outcome.
I've been waiting for the undefeated teams in the KRU cup to face off and Baba & The Destroyer continued their winning ways. I felt they were the team to beat from the start and they are showing it.
I was not expecting Bob Armstrong to acquire the services of Ox and Link. Too bad they couldn't get the job done. But it was worth it to hear Jimmy Hart gloat!
Buddy Rose and the SSA have crippled up both of the Taylors now. I like it.
Great card!

Although most fans seemed to be cheering the efforts of Dutch Savage, I thought it was very cool that The Sheik held onto the LOW International title by handing Savage his first loss ever in a Coal Miner's Glove contest... Also pleased that Power Surge won their KRU Tag League matchup and very nice work by Giant Baba & The Destroyer to remain undefeated in this exciting competition...
The Mountie (with some help from Playboy Buddy Rose) taught that young upstart, Chaz Taylor, some manners... Maybe those Fighting Taylors will think twice before they choose to tangle with SSA, Inc again...
Great to see the King of Men returning to the squared circle... Unfortunate that Blassie and his talented teammates were unable to secure a victory over the unherhanded trio of John Tolos, Roddy Piper and the Ace Cowboy... No doubt Blassie will lobby for a one-on-one rematch with his rival, the Golden Greek...
Huge triumph for the Hart family as well... And it's back to the drawing board for Bullet Bob Armstrong if he plans to gain a measure of revenge against the crew that injured him not long ago...
Some truly awesome action from the west coast... Great work!

Andre never did win any of my B&W legends 64 tournaments so he can be beat. For whatever reason Andre never lost for me until these last two matches with AJ Styles. He never had a snake eyes or roll of his pin or lower so he really had an incredible run in my fed. There were DQ losses, as well as tag losses, but he was never directly pinned or submitted in a match. The closest to beating him were Mil Mascaras, Frank Gotch and Johnny Valentine in my recollection. Bruiser Brody had a good performance against him at WrestleCade 11 but was not as close as those three to beating him. It will be interesting to see if Andre can put those Styles losses behind him and go on another dominant run. Hey Crue - Very interesting question (Where does Andre go from here?) Heenan should count his blessings that Andre hasn't taken his loses to the Phenomenal One out on him! You know in light of how dominant Andre has been in this incredible fed - A.J. Styles is definitely the man! He wants the world and he wants it...NOW! Bravo dude.

Just a quick update: I have my next show from PCW rolled out I just have to finish writing it up. I hope to have it posted later today or tomorrow. As noted in other posts my dice rolling time has been limited so I mainly post my shows on the weekends now. Just wanted to let you guys know that I haven't abandoned my fed, just had to slow it down a little. I hear ya cruefan68! I'm in the same boat - I have long commuting time where I can post - but really cant roll out the matches until the week nights / weekends if Im lucky. I'm hooked Crue - this fed of yours is by all means worth the wait!!

1125 was great cruefan68!! The Real World Tag League never dissapoints and absolutely loved the Baba & Destroyer victory - that sounded like one serious match to behold. If there was ever a Patron Saint Of Pain contest - my vote would be The Sheik. May his reign of terror never end - although Dutch Savage and his specialty match sound pretty damn cool to me. Hopefully The Taylors and The Armstrongs can make the future more interesting. Gotta think The Taylors are as Nickelback says - scratching their names in the sides of bullets. Always looking forward to more my friend - also very much looking forward to the next Lucha Underground. Also - enjoyed Playboy Buddy Rose with not one but two sets of brass knuckles - a two fisted cheater - gotta love him.

Great card, as is to be expected.
LOW never disappoints, Crue.
Baba and Destroyer seem invincible. When they fall (and eventually they will. nothing good lasts forever), it will probably be a shocker of a match!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was shocked when Dutch Savage lost his specialty match but give The Sheik credit for getting the job done. Next up is more wild and wacky action from 8MW...
80's Mania Wrestling - Welcome To The Jungle - Golden Plaza (Card #1126)
* A dejected Honest Al was sitting on the stairs leading to the entrance of Golden Plaza. Apart from the stars of The Dukes of Hazzard all his recent promised celebrity guests had stood him up but this one may have been the worst. Al went on local radio hyping up the big 8MW card at Golden Plaza, promising a huge rock and roll band would appear. After all it was Al that was behind getting Motley Crue, among other bands, to appear previously. This time he had promised to bring in Guns N’ Roses, one of the biggest rock bands of all time, but at the last minute his world was shattered. Al was notified that day that the band was not aware of any booking at Golden Plaza. That left him on the hook to face what would turn into an angry crowd of rock and wrestling fans who had also been informed of the news in a bulletin by Rex Spectrum that interrupted television video feeds that morning.
Suddenly thundering sounds emerged from around the corner and Al perked up:
“Welcome to the jungle we've got fun and games We got everything you want, honey we know the names We are the people that can find whatever you may need If you got the money honey we got your disease In the jungle, welcome to the jungle”
Al jumped to his feet waiting to greet the members of Guns N’ Roses only to be met by the Neon Express (Chet Skye & Jesse Wild) who were bopping up and down to the sounds emanating from their boom box. The popular tag team, obviously having not heard the news due to all night partying, thanked Al for bringing the band to 8MW and strutted off to prepare for their big singles matches to take place later that night. Al put his head in his hands and slowly made his way into the building knowing that an angry crowd would be waiting to greet him…
Quick Results:
1) Warhawk, Dangerzone, Rad Racer & Bug Buster defeated The Piranha, Johnny Kobra, Tennis Pro & Pelvis Pressly by DQ
2) Dark Invader defeated Chet Skye (Pinfall – The Corruptor, a power bomb)
* Dark Invader was met by a dejected Honest Al at the entrance ramp, Al’s first appearance in front of the crowd. Invader demanded to know why he has not had an opportunity at the 8MW World Heavyweight title as the crowd rained down the boos on Al. For once it wasn’t Invader getting jeered and that irony did not escape him. Invader laughed menacingly and said that Al has his own problems and walked off. The crowd continued jeering Al who simply shrugged and returned to the back.
3) Little Shop of Horrors (Keith Blood & Slashmaster, with Gothica) defeated The Adventurers (Arizona Chance & Red Pirate Rogers) (Blood over Rogers by submission – Nightbreed, a modified Sleeper Hold)
4) Pierre the Enormous defeated Jesse Wild (Pinfall – Ginormous Drop)
5) Mighty Leo & Ace Arcadium defeated Metalheads (Cesar Sleaze & Dizzy Lixx) (Arcadium pinned Lixx – Cheat Code, a top rope powerslam)
6) Dude Brohan defeated Hammerhead (Pinfall – Big Bro Leg Drop)
7) 8MW World tag team titles: Master Minds© (Cobalt Commander & Skullgore, with The Thinker) defeated Bladeblasters (Lazer & Buzzsaw) by DQ to retain the titles
* The robotic Rex Spectrum, who has made a career out of ragging on Honest Al, called him into his interview area. Al had no words except to say that this time he had gone too far and made a promise that he couldn’t keep. Spectrum laughed but then told Al not to worry and that everything was going to be fine. Al asked what he meant and Spectrum replied saying that he has connections. Meanwhile out in the arena the crowd buzzed as technicians quickly began setting up instruments on the stage. Al was still in a daze when Spectrum told him to just listen:
The crowd roared as the members of Guns N’ Roses, led by Axl Rose and Slash, hit the stage opening a blistering five song set with Welcome To The Jungle. That was followed up by Sweet Child O’ Mine, Rocket Queen, Patience and a spectacular finish with an extended version of Paradise City. Al ran out onto the stage like a deranged fan during the set and had to be restrained by roadies. He was quickly escorted down to the front row where he was suddenly surrounded by a sea of now adoring fans. Women kissed Al on the cheek and guys gave him high fives as they enjoyed the concert. As Paradise City was ending, Al spotted a beautiful woman near the side of the stage and rushed over greeting another celebrity guest – Tanya Roberts of the 80’s cult film Sheena. She was dressed in a leather two-piece outfit and it was driving Al crazy. He went in for smooch but Roberts quickly grabbed him in a hammerlock, perhaps remembering her policewoman technique from Charlie’s Angels. With the driving sounds of Paradise City coming to an end Al was quickly handcuffed by arena security and escorted to the pokey. Al missed the main event and a chance to meet Guns N’ Roses backstage but while sitting behind bars he realized that his longtime nemesis, Rex Spectrum, had come through for him in his time of need.
8) 8MW World Heavyweight title: Jet Set Strutter© (with Big Boss Jr.) defeated Star Boy to retain the title (Submission – Six-Figure Leglock)
Match Highlights: The main event saw the popular Star Boy challenging Jet Set Strutter for the 8MW World Heavyweight title. Strutter, accompanied by his manager Big Boss Jr., also had an escort of several beautiful women as he made his way to the ring. Star Boy, on the other hand, descended from the roof of the arena in a UFO which landed at ringside. The elaborate sports entertainment style ring entrances were the windown dressing for what turned into a monumental battle. Star Boy took a great beating much of the way but then had Strutter pinned with a cradle hold after a missed deathjump. Big Boss Jr., however, distracted the referee preventing a pin. Star Boy followed up with a strong attack and looked to have the pin with a Flying Cross Chop but Strutter got his foot over the bottom rope. Strutter mounted a counter attack after that and applied the Six-Figure Leglock for a submission victory retaining the belt in his version six defense.
The champion barely had time to celebrate his win when Dark Invader entered demanding a title shot. Strutter begged off and even hid behind Boss Jr. until acting 8MW Commissioner Mr. Fantasy appeared on the video wall. Mr. Fantasy said that he was impressed by Dark Invader beating Chet Skye in dominant fashion and that the time had come for his championship opportunity. Strutter appealed to the commissioner to reconsider but it was to no avail and he will have to defend the belt against Dark Invader ar the Empire Gardens (Card #1146).
The popular Bladeblasters (Lazer & Buzzsaw) brought forth a strong challenge for the 8MW World tag team titles but the Master Minds (Cobalt Commander & Skullgore) remain champions. That is because the unhinged Buzzsaw lost his cool late in the bout decking both Cobalt and Skullgore with chair shots. That came after Buzzsaw had survived the Cobalt Clutch leading to The Thinker sliding the chair into the ring in what turned out to be a brilliant move. The Master Minds won it on a disqualification in their version two defense of the titles…Dude Brohan and Hammerhead had an epic one-on-one battle. Brohan survived both the Russian Sickle and Soviet Sledge before hitting a corner clothesline followed by the Big Bro Leg Drop for the pin...Mighty Leo & Ace Acradium joined forces and earned a hard-fought win over the Metalheads (Cesar Sleaze & Dizzy Lixx) in a bout that could have gone either way. Leo survived Skid Row late and that let to Arcadium winning it when he hit the Cheat Code on Lixx…and, the atomicos opener was a surprise show stealer with all eight men putting on great performances. The good guys won it by disqualification when The Piranha used his feared Outlaw Choke on Bug Buster.
Honest Al Update: For those worrying, Honest Al was released from his jail cell the next morning and when he returned to 8MW offices awaiting him were autographed pictures from Guns N’ Roses and Tanya Roberts. The latter was even imprinted with a lipstick kiss and an apology for things getting out of hand during the concert. Al clutched the picture of Ms. Roberts to his chest and remarked that the ladies love them some Honest Al. A lot of eyes rolled in that room as everyone was reminded that Honest Al is truly one of a kind.
8MW Top 10 Rankings:
1) Dark Invader 2) Star Boy 3) Mighty Leo 4) Lazer 5) Dude Brohan 6) Ace Arcadium 7) Pierre the Enormous 8) Warhawk 9) Bug Buster 10) The Piranha
* current champions not included in rankings

For starters, it was great to see Al get bailed out during the 11th hour by his professional (but, obviously not bitter) rival... Hats off to Max on that one - Very classy...
Thoroughly enjoyed the in-ring action... Totally stoked that the Masterminds held onto the tag belts... Maybe this will convince Lazer and Buzzsaw to move into singles competition for a change of pace... Also pleased that my favorite team, Little Shop of Horrors, were able to score a big win...
Strutter retains his place at the top thanks to a few shenanigans... Big Boss Jr better sit down and start working on some new strategies though... Cuz those tired, old underhanded stunts ain't gonna work against Dark Invader... This should be a title match to remember...
Just like Fast Times at Ridgemont High, my friend... 8MW is the place to party... Rock on!
