Hey cruefan68! This recent installment of Golden Age Wrestling rocked! Frank Gotch and George Hackenschmidt with victories but that title match was awesome - really enjoyed that one! And if I really liked that one Pariah, you my friend must have loved it. Rocca pulled out all the stops and hit Styles with everything he had forcing Styles well beyond his endurance. OH to the SNAP! Great seeing Johnny Valentine back in the fray - he and Muldoon sound like a very interesting and tough team. Touchdown my friend!!

Thanks for the comments Troy, Pariah, Aceldamas, Bri and AJ. Pariah you are correct in noting that my world title defense record is 12 held jointly by Mil Mascaras and Nick Bockwinkel. AJ has a long way to go but he is on fire right now. Rocca gave Styles fits in that match, though, and it really was a great bout. I was looking for the right spot to bring back Johnny Valentine and judging by the reaction here it seems to have been a good decision. Coming next will be action from SHIMMER which I hope to have posted this weekend.

7) SHIMMER Tag Team Titles: Team PAWG (Lufisto & Jordynne Grace) defeated Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews) to win the titles (Lufisto pinned Matthews – Weapon of Ass Destruction)
8) SHIMMER Title – Triple Threat Match: “Sweet” Saraya Knight© defeated “The Mountain” Vanessa Kraven and “Havok Death Machine” Jessicka Havok to retain the title (Knight over Havok by submission – Knightmare)
Match Highlights: On a night featuring two huge championship matches it was a special stipulation match that made the headlines. The popular Trish Stratus was forced to leave SHIMMER after coming out on the losing end of a trios match where she teamed with Allison Danger & Davina Rose against “Blonde, Red & Bad Ass” – Barbi Hayden, Taeler Hendrix & Kelly Klein. Stratus had been seeking a handicap match against the three, with the stipulation that she would leave SHIMMER if she lost, but that was turned down by promoter Dave Prazak. Instead it was turned into a trios match with a loser of the fall leaves SHIMMER stipulation with Danger and Rose agreeing to team with Stratus. With manager Mademoiselle Rachelle in their corner, B-R-B were looking to take out their rival and did so after a torrid battle. The powerful Klein was the one to put the match away when she trapped Stratus in a Fisherman’s Suplex to score the pin. The crowd jeered the decision as Rachelle and her team rejoiced in their victory. They also poked fun at Stratus from ringside as she said an emotional goodbye to the fans at The Eagles Club. Things only get better for B-R-B when later it was announced that Hayden would be challenging Sara Del Ray for the Heart of SHIMMER title at Volume 46.
Team PAWG (Lufisto & Jordynne Grace) became the new SHIMMER tag team champions by defeating the Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews) in a heck of a match. The Ninjas, who have been gaining in popularity recently, were looking for a successful version one title defense of their record fifth reign as champions but it was not to be. Late in the bout it was Matthews taking a beating and she unfortunately was unable to make a key tag. After surviving some powerful offense by the challengers, Matthews was left in a vulnerable spot as Team PAWG delivered the devastating Weapons of Ass Destruction. Lufisto made the cover as Grace fended off a save attempt by Perez and three seconds later it was all over. The former champions tried to be gracious in defeat but Team PAWG simply grabbed the title belts and walked off ignoring an attempted handshake.
“Sweet” Saraya Knight retained the SHIMMER title in a brutal Triple Threat Match against former champion Jessicka Havok and Vanessa Kraven in the main event. It was a brawl from start to finish with all three women fighting in the ring and around ringside. With single elimination rules, it made for some hectic near fall situations for all three women. Havok came close to becoming a two-time champion but Knight somehow avoided defeat. With Kraven knocked down late it was Knight trapping Havok in the Knightmare, a single-leg Boston Crab hold, in center ring. Havok struggled to escape but Knight wrenched back on the hold and got the submission win to retain the title. It was a successful version six defense of the title for Knight which ties the record for title defenses with Jaguar Yokota who held the belt when it was previously known as the LOW Women’s title. Kraven was visibly upset post-match feeling that once again Havok cost her the championship and the now former allies got into a shoving match that turned into a brawl. Knight looked on smiling as the two tore up ringside and each other resulting in SHIMMER officials having to put a stop to it. After the show, it was announced that Kraven will face Havok in a feature match at Volume 46.
The challenge match pitting “The Punisher” Madison Eagles against the undefeated “Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler was every bit as intense as expected. Eagles survived a punishing ankle lock and a single leg slam late before stunning Baszler with a spider German Suplex. A brainbuster followed before Eagles caught Baszler with Hell Bound to score the pin. The brilliant win by Eagles drew cheers from the crowd and a waiting ringside interview with Amber Gertner but it never happened. Instead the frustrated Baszler jumped Eagles from behind tossing her arm first into the ring post. A slick wrenching Arm Bar followed and Eagles was writhing in pain with Baszler refusing to release it. Nicole Savoy, who was on stand-by, ran out with a chair forcing Baszler to release the hold. Baszler then stared down Savoy from the aisle as Eagles was attended to by paramedics. Savoy subsequently challenged Baszler to a match which will take place at Volume 46.
Injury Report: * Madison Eagles suffered a hyperextended elbow injury after being assaulted by Shayna Baszler during a post-match interview. She is expected to be out of action for several weeks because of the attack.
SHIMMER Top 10 Rankings:
1) Barbi Hayden 2) Jessicka Havok 3) MsChif 4) Madison Eagles 5) Taeler Hendrix 6) Shayna Baszler 7) Kelly Klein 8) Candice LeRae 9) Vanessa Kraven 10) Nicole Savoy
* current champions not included in rankings

Tough to see two of my favorite women battling (Yim and Lovelace) but a fun show overall and big win by Klein over Stratus.

Card 1128 Definitely did not disappoint cruefan68! Tough to see Trish Stratus leave Shimmer, that was a heavy match - loser of the fall leaves. That's deep. Loved the Triple Threat title match - congrats to Saraya Knight on defending the title she definitely showed the division how it's done. Also enjoyed the feuds percolating and you have some very intetesting rematches booked on the next card as a result. I'm going to have to invest in a Shimmer set soon. That most recent one looked pretty interesting. Right on Crue - This is The Babe Ruth of Legends Feds, (and all feds in general) there is no weak division here my man!

Totally stoked that Sweet Saraya managed to fend off two challengers in that successful title defense... Here's hoping she can break the record with her next one... And as an added bonus, we witness the unavoidable blow up between Kraven and Havok... The face off should be explosive...
Big win for Eagles to snap Baszler's undefeated streak... Unfortunate that she sustained such a serious injury in the post-match assault... Cool that Savoy is stepping in to avenge the Punisher against the Queen of Spades...
Kinda weird that Trish Stratus is leaving Shimmer as it sometimes feels like she just arrived... Interested to see where she winds up...
Another great edition of Shimmer action... Awesome work!

Great night of SHIMMER action, cruefan68! Stunned to see Trish forced to leave but it came at the hands of Kelly Klein who is no slouch... so really there is no shame in losing. "Sweet" Saraya continues to dominate! Loving it!

Thanks for the comments Troy, Bri, Pariah and AJ. The SHIMMER action is always pretty intense and while it wasn't Trish Stratus I wanted out you have to honor those darn dice so it is goodbye to her. She will be replaced on the roster by Shazza McKenzie. Not sure where Trish will go from here but I must say that her run in SHIMMER as far as wins and losses was pretty disappointing. Barbi Hayden, on the other hand, has a spectacular record so it will be interesting to see how she fares in the title match with Sara Del Ray. Kelly Klein got the win for her team but her record is not title worthy yet so that was why I chose Hayden to get the title shot in case anyone was wondering.
I was pumped when Madison Eagles got the win as I was expecting it to go the other way. Shayna Baszler had been unstoppable up to that point but even in defeat she stays strong. I am looking forward to Baszler taking on Nicole Savoy not to mention the return of Eagles. My next show will be from the IWA featuring a Texas Tornado match with DDP & Randy Savage vs. Tyler Black & Drew Galloway which I hope to roll out soon. Sadly I have been very busy due to work so dice rolling time has had to be sacrificed but my fed will continue even if it moves a little slower at times.
