(Note: This tag team tournament was set up to honor legendary Toronto promoter Jack Tunney, Sr. and was inspired by the Jim Crockett, Sr. tournament that the NWA used to run. An interesting tournament final with both teams being heels and the non-clean count out result. Those darn dice! Bockwinkel & Rogers, already two-time world tag team champs, added another feather in their cap with this tournament win.)

LOW World Heavyweight title: Bobo Brazil defeated Johnny Valentine (pinfall - Coco Butt) to win the title - Brazil injured post-match with a Brainbuster on the floor with his resulting injuries forcing LOW Commissioner Massif to declare the world title vacant pending a decision match between the two top contenders while also barring Valentine from competing in the decision match.
(Note: This was a very controversial main event with Valentine losing the title but injuring the new champion. Massif refused to suspend Valentine for his actions but instead barred him from competing in the decision match to decide the new champion. Instead it was Mil Mascaras and Buddy Rogers that got the nod two shows later at MSG.)
