(Note: A historic night at Cobo Hall for LOW topped by The Sheik (a bootleg card at this time) beating rival Killer Kowalski in a brutal Dog Collar match. There were two title changes underneath as the Midnight Express, with an assist from Jim Cornette, upset the Road Warriors in a rematch for the tag titles and Giant Baba ended the strong run of Gorgeous George by beating him for the International title. Also, Brutus Beefcake & Buff Bagwell made their LOW debut in a losing effort.)

Valentine gets screwed by Massif, I hope he'll get his hands on Brazil again and a shot at the World Title... That was definitely an interesting decision as I recall no suspension was rolled so Massif made that call outside of the dice result. This was the most controversial footnote in the history of the LOW World Heavyweight title. |

Brazil punished Valentine but took the loss when a Coco Butt caused Valentine to fall through the door and out of the ring for the win. Valentine used this win as a reason to avoid a rematch with Brazil leaving the Benton Harbor, MI, native extremely frustrated afterward. High-Flying GWF fan made wrestler Halcon Oro made a successful LOW debut on this show.)
