Monday Night Mayhem #12
02.22.2010 from Riverfront Coliseum, Cincinnati, Ohio
- Commissioner Watts opens the show -
The show starts with highlights from this past saturday's special primte time show, Saturday Night Slams! We saw highlights of the awesome Texas Death Match between the Road Warriors and the Valentines; the Steel Cage Match between Iron Shiek and Jimmy Snuka, and Snuka's death defying leap from the top of the cage; Nigel McGuiness beating One Man Gang in a Falls Count Anywhere Match; Frank Gotch retaining the North American Title over Maurice Tillet; Buddy Rogers beating The Destroyer in a number one contenders match; Hart Foundation retaining the World Tag Team Titles over Buddy Rose and Adrian Street, and the subsequent attack by Street on Rose, spraying perfume in Rose's eyes; Nick Bockwinkel retaining the World Title over Bobo Brazil, and then the controversy that followed, when Buddy Rogers won the World Title from Bockwinkel!
We cut to the ringside area, where the entire PWS Roster is in the ring, or standing outside the ring. Commissioner Bill Watts then comes out to the top of the ramp, with microphone in hand...
Commissioner Watts-"As many of you may know, we have had an exodus of wrestlers to that new fed. Among those guys who signed with that other place, was our former World Champ, Nick Bockwinkel. Some of you have expressed displeasure with what happened in the main event this past saturday, which featured Nick Bockwinkel against Buddy Rogers for the World Title. Some have even left because of what happened. But let me just say this...I was hired in here as Commissioner, because the owners of the PWS knew they could count on me to do what was best for business, and what was best for business was to not take the chance of the PWS World Champ leaving for another organization. Whether you like it or not, I did what I had to do. Now we have a champion in Buddy Rogers, who has committed to the PWS for the long term, and whether you like him or not, Buddy Rogers has proven himself to worthy of the PWS World Title. I told you from day one that I would be a fair commissioner, but I would be a stern commissioner, and I would do what I have to, and that's what I did saturday night. If anyone has a problem with that, then you can pack up, and leave...."
The wrestlers all look at each other, but no one is buding...except for North American Frank Gotch. Gotch exits the ring, and heads towards Watts, and hands him the North American Title...
Frank Gotch-"I understand what you did, but I don't agree with it. We should be able to trust you, just like you should be able to trust us. And I don't feel I can trust you. I don't to get screwed over one day, because maybe I rubbed you the wrong way. I'm sorry, but I am vacating the North American Title, and leaving the PWS..."
Gotch walks off, as the fans chant "Please come back."
Commissioner Watts-"Anyone else?"
No one moves an inch...
Commissioner Watts-"Good. Now we can move on. We may have had some wrestlers leave, but I went out, and brought some of the best talent around, and the PWS will continue to grow, and be the strongest fed around! Two of those wrestlers will debut in our first match. Now let's get back to the business of wrestling, and I'll go determine what to do about the North American Title..."
Everyone disperses, and we get set for our first match...

It was a quick match. Credible didn't take long in hitting THAT'S INCREDIBLE, but he couldn't get the pin. When the ref wasn't looking, Credible blasted Ware with the SINGAPORE CANE, and took the tainted victory.
