LWF PRIME TIME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (ABC Family) TUESDAY, APRIL 13, 2010 O2 ARENA, LONDON, ENGLAND
***RESULTS***
DARK MATCH GOLDBERG (bootleg) beat The ROCK (bootleg) with the Jackhammer finisher.
Tonight, Ric Flair meets Antonio Inoki, with the winner getting a title shot against Prime Time Champion Lou Thesz at the April 25 To The Extreme Pay-Per-View event. Also, Rob Van Dam, who will face Hulk Hogan for the LWF World Heavyweight Championship on April 25, defends his newly won World Television Title against ... Johnny Valiant. In another title match tonight, Londrick puts their Prime Time Tag Team belts on the line against Cousin Luke & Les Thatcher. And, Freddie Blassie tangles with Mad Dog Vachon, with Danny Hodge as the special referee.
DANNY HODGE beat JIM JAMISON (Memphis bootleg) with the Oklahoma Side Roll finisher.
DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE beat JOHNNY RODZ by countout. Rodz had beaten Page last week by countout.
TERRY GORDY beat BRYAN DANIELSON with the Oriental Spike finisher.
LWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP -- 10-MINUTE TIME LIMIT Champion ROB VAN DAM beat JOHNNY VALIANT with a Cross-Body Block in the second minute to retain the belt.
LARRY HENNIG (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat IRA REESE (Memphis bootleg) with The Axe finisher in Hennig's LWF debut. Heenan introduced Hennig as his "bodyguard."
LWF PRIME TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP COUSIN LUKE & LES THATCHER beat Champions LONDRICK (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) (w/ Jim Cornette) when Thatcher beat Kendrick with a High Sunset Flip to win the belts. It appeared that Cornette was fighting the temptation to physically interfere with his tennis racket on a couple of occasions. When the match was over, Kendrick & London shook hands with Luke & Thatcher, but Cornette just walked to the back without shaking hands with anyone.
SPECIAL REFEREE DANNY HODGE MAD DOG VACHON (w/ Nikita Breznikov) beat FREDDIE BLASSIE (bootleg) with an Airplane Spin. Hodge and Vachon shoved each other a few times during the match; otherwise, Hodge called it down the middle, giving Vachon the 1-2-3 count while looking like he'd rather be anywere else. After Hodge raised Vachon's hand, Breznikov pulled Vachon away while Hodge stared him down.
LWF PRIME TIME MAIN EVENT -- WINNER GETS A SHOT AT THE PRIME TIME CHAMPIONSHIP RIC FLAIR (bootleg) beat ANTONIO INOKI with the Figure Four Leglock finisher to get the shot at Lou Thesz.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM LWF PROMOTER ROB MOORE
Due to travel difficulties caused by the Icelandic volcano while the LWF was on tour in Europe, the cards for this week's World Class Championship Wrestling and Prime Time Championship Wrestling will be largely swapped. The Prime Time crew has already returned to the United States, but the World Class crew is in Ireland, awaiting clearance to depart for America, which may happen sometime tomorrow morning. Thus, tonight at LWF WCCW on ABC-TV, the matches scheduled for tomorrow night's LWF PTCW program on ABC Family will be held, with one exception. LWF World Television Champion Rob Van Dam is in Ireland with the World Class crew. After consultation with the LWF Board of Directors, WC GM Bill Watts (by phone) and PT GM Jerry Jarrett, there will be no Television Title match on the Monday night show, and Van Dam will not be stripped of the belt for not defending it as scheduled. However, plans are in the works for a suitable replacement match, and we believe it will be well worth it for LWF fans to stick around for the complete show Monday night. Thank you for your concern and for your continued support of the LWF!

LWF WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (ABC-TV) MONDAY, APRIL 19, 2010 IZOD CENTER, EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY
Due to transportation problems caused by the volcano in Iceland, the World Class crew is forced to stay in Ireland until tomorrow morning. The Prime Time crew was able to get flights out of Europe and back to America, so tonight's card will be made up of Prime Time wrestlers, including the scheduled rematch between Cousin Luke & Les Thatcher and Londrick for the Prime Time Tag Team belts. Since World Television Champion Rob Van Dam is with the World Class crew, there will be no TV Title match tonight, and Van Dam will not be penalized for not defending his title. PT GM Jerry Jarrett promised fans something extra tonight, an unscheduled bout that will be the Main Event of the evening. The World Class wrestlers, provided they are back in the States in time, will wrestle tomorrow night on Prime Time Championship Wrestling.
***RESULTS***
DARK MATCH GOLDBERG (bootleg) beat The ROCK (bootleg) with the Jackhammer finisher.
Ring Announcer Howard Finkel introduced the returning Sting for his match, and his music played, but he was nowhere to be found. After a few moments, Sting's music cut off, replaced by a more ominous sounding theme. Finally, a spotlight focused on someone in the rafters, someone in stark black and white. It was Sting! He came down on a wire from the ceiling to the ring as announcers Mike Tenay and Larry Matysik tried to make sense of what they were seeing, since this wasn't the happy-go-lucky surfer Sting everybody knew.
STING (bootleg) beat IRA REESE (Memphis bootleg) with the Scorpion Death Drop finisher.
LARRY HENNIG (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat The PINK PANTHER (Memphis bootleg) with The Axe finisher.
At the interview stage, Gene Okerlund interviewed Jim Cornette and his tag team, Londrick (Brian Kendrick & Paul London). Cornette said, "Listen, 'Mean Gene,' on top of all the other things going on in my life, including my anger management classes, my desire to have certain festering boils in my life permanently lanced and whatnot, I have spent the better part of the last week in Hell. Everybody knows I hate to fly. Well, for the sake of these two guys, I gutted it up, took a couple of tranquilizers and got on an airplane to go to Europe with them. Then, while we're over there, Mount Vesuvius, Mount Bjork or whatever it's called decided to blow its top and spew volcanic ash all over that particular part of the world. Now, what wasn't so bad was that the LWF had to cancel some flights and travel by bus to get to the arenas in some of the countries we visited. Hey, I've got no problem with that. I can sleep on a bus a hell of a lot better than I can on a plane. But, when it came time to come back home, our flight plan looked like it was drawn up by Stevie Wonder. As soon as our plane touched down, just hours ago, I got off that deathtrap with wings and French kissed the tarmac, that's how happy I was to be alive. And, I'm never getting on another airplane as long as I live. But, Gene, I'm still not completely over it, and now I've got to lead Brian and Paul into a match tonight against that hillbilly Luke and Les Thatcher to get our Prime Time Tag Team Titles back. I'm a nervous wreck, I don't mind tellin' you. So, guys (to Kendrick and London), you just get in the ring and follow the plan, and if you see me disappear from ringside, don't worry, I've just crawled under the ring to puke. You can handle it. Got that?" Kendrick and London said yes, and that was the end of the interview.
DANNY HODGE beat ROBERT REED (Memphis bootleg) with the Oklahoma Side Roll finisher. Mad Dog Vachon and his manager, Nikita Breznikov, came halfway down the aisle to watch, and Hodge stared them down until the foreign pair left.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE beat JOHNNY RODZ after whipping Rodz into a wall in a match that started with Page attacking Rodz before the bell and quickly tossing him out of the ring to the floor moments before scoring the victory.
TERRY GORDY beat BRYAN DANIELSON with the Oriental Spike finisher. After the match, Rick Rude came out and helped Gordy double-team Danielson, holding him down while Gordy dropped a succession of knees to Danielson's skull. George Hackenschmidt ran out, but the damage was done. Danielson had to be stretchered out.
LWF PRIME TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP -- WINNERS CHALLENGE THE ROAD WARRIORS FOR THE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES ON SUNDAY LONDRICK (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) (w/ Jim Cornette) beat Champions COUSIN LUKE & LES THATCHER when London beat Luke with the 450 Splash finisher to win the belts. Moments after Londrick regained the belts, "Iron Man" started to play, and the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering walked halfway down the aisle, sarcastically applauding the new champions. Cornette turned white, bailed out of the ring, got behind the announcers' desk and heaved all over Mike Tenay's shoes. Londrick tended to him as the L.O.D. laughed and returned to the dressing room.
GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT beat RICK RUDE (w/ Bobby Heenan and bodyguard Larry Hennig) with a Single Leg Pickup and Slam. Hennig started to interfere, but Hackenschmidt kicked him out of the ring before finishing off Rude.
LWF WORLD CLASS MAIN EVENT LWF World Tag Team Champions The ROAD WARRIORS (Animal & Hawk) (w/ Paul Ellering) & RIC FLAIR (bootleg) beat ANTONIO INOKI, BRUNO SAMMARTINO (bootleg) & Prime Time Champion LOU THESZ (bootleg) when Flair beat Sammartino with the Figure Four Leglock finisher. Inoki and Thesz battled with the Legion of Doom as Flair was putting his patented leglock on the former World and Television Champion, and Bruno's teammates couldn't get back in the ring in time to help their partner.

DARK MATCH The ROCK (bootleg) beat BRUISER BRODY with The People's Elbow finisher.
With the World Class Championship Wrestling crew still in Ireland due to the volcano in Iceland, the Prime Time crew is pulling double duty this week, having mostly wrestled last night. Tonight, Prime Time GM Jerry Jarrett decided to start the show with a 13-man over-the-top-rope Battle Royal, with the order of elimination determining six matches, and the winner getting a shot at Prime Time Champion Lou Thesz in tonight's Main Event. At last report, the WCCW crew may be able to finally return to the States on Wednesday.
THIRTEEN-MAN OVER-THE-TOP-ROPE BATTLE ROYAL TERRY GORDY eliminated MAD DOG VACHON to win the Battle Royal and earn the shot at Thesz. Order of elimination: 1) Sting (by Hackenschmidt); 2) Rick Rude (by Hennig, accidentally); 3) Bruno Sammartino (by Page); 4) Diamond Dallas Page (by Hennig, accidentally); 5) Antonio Inoki (by Hennig); 6) Danny Hodge (by Vachon); 7) George Hackenschmidt (by Gordy); 8) Les Thatcher (by Gordy); 9) Larry Hennig (by Vachon); 10) Freddie Blassie (by Goldberg); 11) Goldberg (by Vachon); 12) Mad Dog Vachon (by Gordy).
RICK RUDE (w/ Bobby Heenan & bodyguard Larry Hennig) beat STING (bootleg) with the Rude Awakening finisher.
DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE beat BRUNO SAMMARTINO (bootleg) by disqualification when Page got tangled up in the ropes, and Sammartino would not stop pummeling him.

GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT beat LES THATCHER with the Russian Bear Hug finisher.
LARRY HENNIG (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat FREDDIE BLASSIE (bootleg) with The Axe finisher after Rick Rude ran in and hit the Rude Awakening on Blassie.
MAD DOG VACHON (w/ Nikita Breznikov) beat GOLDBERG (bootleg) with the Piledriver finisher. Tonight was Goldberg's LWF TV debut.
LWF PRIME TIME MAIN EVENT -- LWF PRIME TIME CHAMPIONSHIP Champion LOU THESZ (bootleg) beat TERRY GORDY with the Thesz Press finisher to retain the belt. Ric Flair, who will challenge Thesz for the belt this Sunday night on Pay-Per-View, sat at ringside with Mike Tenay and Larry Matysik during the match. After the match, he and Thesz had a staredown.

Rikidozan was clearly injured in the attack; it's not known whether he will make TV tomorrow night.
PRIME TIME CHAMPIONSHIP RIC FLAIR (bootleg) beat Champion LOU THESZ (bootleg) with a Sunset Flip to win the belt.
WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP -- FOUR CORNERS MATCH SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM (bootleg) beat KING KONG BUNDY (w/ Bobby Heenan), SHAWN MICHAELS (bootleg) and BIG JOHN STUDD (Masked Superstar II card) (w/ Bobby Heenan) by beating Bundy when he ran into the corner turnbuckle to win the vacant belt. Because the World Class crew was stuck in Europe last Monday night because of the volcano in Iceland and, thus, unable to have the semifinals for the World Class belt, it was decided to have a Four Corners Match tonight for the title. Heenan's men laid out Michaels at the beginning of the match, but Graham overcame the odds to get the victory and the title.

***RESULTS***
DARK MATCH BRUISER BRODY beat The ROCK (bootleg) with the Jumping Knee Drop finisher.
LWF WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING Tonight, World Television Champion Rob Van Dam, just 24 hours removed from his bloody loss to LWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan, will defend his belt, and the name drawn for his opponent is that of ... Cousin Luke.
BILLY "RED" LYONS beat KEN RAPER (Memphis bootleg) with an Atomic Drop.
After the match, Bill Apter entered the ring and made a presentation of a plaque to Lyons, recognizing his charity work in his native Canada. Nikita Breznikov and Nikolai Volkoff came out, and Breznikov said that, while Lyons is running around helping other people, Volkoff is training for upcoming matches. "And that, Mr. Red Lyons, is why you will never be half the wrestler that Nikolai Volkoff is!" Lyons got nose to nose with Breznikov, and Volkoff snatched the plaque out of Lyons' hand and smashed it over his head, breaking it in two. Lyons lay unconscious on the mat, blood pouring from a cut on his forehead, as Volkoff threw the pieces of the plaque onto Lyons and he and Breznikov left.
After the commercial break, announcers Gordon Solie and Jim Ross said Lyons was being tended to by medical personnel in the back.
JIMMY SNUKA beat MICHAEL HAYES (bootleg) (w/ April Hunter) with the Superfly Leap finisher.
NIKOLAI VOLKOFF (w/ Nikita Breznikov) beat NIGEL McGUINNESS with the Backbreaker Drop finisher.
As Volkoff and Breznikov celebrated, Billy Red Lyons, his head wrapped in a bandage, ran out and hit a succession of dropkicks on Volkoff, knocking him from the ring and leaving Breznikov by himself. Just as Lyons was about to thrash Breznikov, Volkoff pulled his manager from the ring and practically carried him to the back as fans cheered wildly for Lyons.
At the interview stage, Bill Apter congratulated the new World Class Champion, Superstar Billy Graham. Graham acknowledged that it was a tough match (the Fatal Four-Way last night with King Kong Bundy, Shawn Michaels and Big John Studd), but "right here's the proof (holding up the belt) that I beat 'em all, daddy!" Bobby Heenan came out and offered to sign Graham to a management deal. The champion said, "Bobby, that's like closing the barn door after the horse got out. You weren't asking to manage me before I was champion. Now, it looks to me like you want a ride on the gravy train after it left the station. Looks like you need me a lot more than I need you, and I DON'T need you. So, thanks but no thanks." Heenan started talking about how much more money he could make Graham, but the Superstar said this belt meant a guaranteed future shot at World Champion Hulk Hogan, "and that alone is worth all the money I need. I get the shot, not those two overgrown wannabes of yours." That brought on an attack by King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd, who worked Graham over until Michaels ran out and evened the sides, and Heenan called his men to the back. Michaels offered to team with Graham against Bundy and Studd, and Graham accepted the match for TONIGHT!
World Class Tag Team Co-Champion GIANT BABA beat HARTFORD LOVE (w/ Reginald Love) with the Neckbreaker Drop finisher.
As the Loves backed away, Baba, with the help of translator Masanori Horie, offered to put the tag team belts up against the Loves again. He said, "I cannot guarantee that my partner (the injured Rikidozan) will be there, but I will fight both of you if I have to." The Loves accepted the match on the condition that it take place next week, and Baba accepted.
STEVE AUSTIN (bootleg) beat AMISH ROADKILL with the Stone Cold Stunner finisher.
ED "STRANGLER" LEWIS (w/ Captain Lou Albano) beat BUDDY ROBERTS (bootleg) with the Strangler's Headlock finisher.
LWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP, 10-MINUTE TIME LIMIT Champion ROB VAN DAM beat COUSIN LUKE with the Five Star Frog Splash in the first minute to retain the belt.
LWF WORLD CLASS MAIN EVENT World Class Champion SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM (bootleg) & SHAWN MICHAELS (bootleg) beat KING KONG BUNDY & BIG JOHN STUDD (Masked Superstar II card) (w/ Bobby Heenan) by disqualification when Bundy and Studd double-teamed Graham and knocked the referee down. Studd had Graham up in the Backbreaker finisher when Michaels entered the ring with a steel chair and used it on both opponents, who ran to the back with Heenan. Michaels, still with chair in hand, challenged the Heenan Family to come back, while Graham was feeling the effects of the Backbreaker.
