GREG VALENTINE (w/ April Hunter) beat SHAWN MICHAELS (bootleg) with a Piledriver. Valentine was about to use the Piledriver on Michaels again when Stone Cold Steve Austin ran into the ring. Valentine bailed out. As he and Hunter watched, Austin checked on Michaels, helped him to his feet ... and kicked him and gave him the Stunner! Austin then shot both middle fingers at Valentine before enjoying a midring beer bash.
WORLD CLASS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, INSIDE A STEEL CAGE -- LOSING TEAM LEAVES THE LWF FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR Champions GIANT BABA & RIKIDOZAN beat The LOVE BROTHERS (Hartford & Reginald Love) (w/ Larry Sharpe) when Baba beat Hartford with the Neckbreaker Drop finisher to retain the belts. After the match, Baba & Rikidozan left the cage, and Sharpe entered the cage and started screaming at the Loves. When Sharpe tore up their love beads, the brothers became irate and pummelled the "Pretty Boy" from one side of the cage to another. The Love Brothers left the LWF to a chorus of cheers as their theme, "All You Need Is Love" played one last time on the PA system.
NON-TITLE MATCH LWF World Cruiserweight Champion NIGEL McGUINNESS (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat RED BASTIEN with the Jawbreaker Lariat finisher.
LWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP, 10-MINUTE TIME LIMIT Champion ANTONIO INOKI beat GEORGE SOUTH with the Enzuigiri finisher in the first minute to retain the belt.
WEAPONS LEGAL MATCH FRANK GOTCH beat ROB VAN DAM with the Gotch Toehold finisher. After the match, Superstar Billy Graham and manager Captain Lou Albano entered the ring. Gotch stepped aside to let Graham take a shot at Van Dam, but, instead, Graham snatched Gotch up in the Superstar Bearhug and shook him around like a rag doll. Van Dam slipped out of the ring and limped to the back as officials charged the ring to make Graham drop Gotch.
After the commercial break, Bill Apter asked Graham why he attacked Gotch. Graham replied that he'd heard it all about how technical wrestling will beat sheer power anytime, and he's out to prove otherwise. He said Gotch represents the best in technical wrestling and was therefore a target.
LWF WORLD CLASS MAIN EVENT -- WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP Champion The ROCK (bootleg) beat KING KONG BUNDY (w/ Bobby Heenan) with a Small Package to retain the belt.
(Taping of a second World Class Championship Wrestling show took place immediately after the live show. Results will appear here next Monday night, August 2.)

LWF PRIME TIME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
JACK BRISCO (bootleg) beat PAT HUTCHINSON (Memphis bootleg) with an Airplane Spin.
Gene Okerlund interviewed the reunited Valiant Brothers. Jimmy acknowledged the fans and started to dance, but Johnny cut him off, saying, "Remember the deal, Jimmy, Last week, when I beat you, you agreed to reform our team. But, you ALSO agreed to stop that stupid dancing and stop paying attention to these idiot fans." Jimmy hung his head and nodded. Johnny continued, "Our mother herself said that, right or wrong, we're both her sons, and we've both got a responsibility to do the Valiant name proud. Jimmy, you don't want to disappoint our mother, do you?" Jimmy shook his head. Johnny said, "You know what we have to do. Do it for Mother!"
VERNE GAGNE(bootleg) beat KEN RAPER (Memphis bootleg) with the Gagne Sleeper finisher.
TONY GAREA (bootleg) beat JOHNNY RODZ with a Sunset Flip.
LWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP, 10-MINUTE TIME LIMIT Champion ANTONIO INOKI beat RIC FLAIR (bootleg) with a Bow and Arrow in the sixth minute to retain the belt.
LWF PRIME TIME MAIN EVENT -- PRIME TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, ONE-HOUR IRON TEAM MATCH (whichever team gets the most falls wins), LOSING TEAM GETS NO MORE TITLE MATCHES AS LONG AS THE WINNING TEAM ARE CHAMPIONS LONDRICK (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) (w/ Jim Cornette) beat Champions DANNY HODGE & LES THATCHER two falls to one to win the belts. The match was a technical marvel as, for the most part, neither team could gain a clear advantage. London took the first fall with the 450 Splash finisher on Hodge in the 18th minute. Thatcher beat London with the Stump Puller finisher in the 25th minute. London beat Hodge with the Assisted Shooting Star finisher in the 33rd minute. The remainder of the match saw Hodge & Thatcher come close to tying it up, and they seemed to be on the verge when the time limit ran out. After the bell, the two teams, after some hesitation, shook hands. As Hodge & Thatcher left and Londrick & Cornette celebrated, the Valiant Brothers came to the ring. Cornette told Jimmy & Jerry that it was nice of them to come out and congratulate the new champions. But, instead of congratulating them, the Valiants attacked Kendrick & London. Cornette jumped out of the ring to the floor, where he was attacked from behind by Bobby Heenan! Heenan threw Cornette into the ring, where the Valiants hit him with a double team attack. Hodge & Thatcher ran back to the ring, and Heenan and the Valiants jumped out, leaving the new champions and Cornette laid out in the ring.

LWF WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING MONDAY, AUGUST 2, 2010 taped Monday, July 26 at the AT&T CENTER, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS
***RESULTS***
No Dark Match, since this show was taped immediately following the conclusion of last week's show.
RICK MARTEL (bootleg) beat ROBERT REED (Memphis bootleg) with the Sunset Flip finisher.
Steve Austin's Stunner on Shawn Michaels from last week was shown on the LegendsVision screen, and Michaels came out and called Austin out. Michaels wanted to know what gave Austin the right to embarrass him in his hometown of San Antonio. Austin said, "Well, you were there, and Greg Valentine was all the way up the aisle, and I needed to stun somebody, and, well, you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time." Michaels then fired in a punch on Austin, who punched back. Security came out to separate them, but LWF World Class GM Bill Watts made an executive decision to let the two have a match "RIGHT NOW!"
STEVE AUSTIN (bootleg) beat SHAWN MICHAELS (bootleg) with the Stone Cold Stunner finisher.
KING KONG BUNDY (w/Bobby Heenan) beat COUSIN LUKE with the Avalanche finisher and a five-count.
LWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP, 10-MINUTE TIME LIMIT Champion ANTONIO INOKI beat MIKE JONES (Virgil card) with the Enzugiri finisher in the first minute to retain the belt.
BUDDY ROBERTS (bootleg) beat TED DIBIASE (Black Glove card) with a Falling Punch. Dibiase was understandably upset as he stormed to the back. Cameras caught up with him as he entered a dressing room and ordered everybody out ... except Mike Jones. Dibiase then slammed the door on the cameraman.
JIMMY SNUKA beat BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ Bobby Heenan) by disqualification when King Kong Bundy interfered.
GREG VALENTINE (w/ April Hunter) beat RED BASTIEN when Bastien ran into the corner turnbuckles.
LWF WORLD CLASS MAIN EVENT -- TRIPLE THREAT MATCH, WINNER GETS A WORLD CLASS TITLE SHOT NEXT WEEK FRANK GOTCH beat SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM (bootleg) (w/ Captain Lou Albano) and ROB VAN DAM when Gotch beat Graham with a Rolling Kneebar. World Class Champion The Rock, who is set to face World Champion Hulk Hogan at the next PPV, Summertime Bruise on August 15, watched the match from ringside. After the match, Rock went to apparently congratulate Gotch, but, instead, gave him the Rock Bottom to end the taping.

The VALIANT BROTHERS (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant) (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat AMISH ROADKILL & DANNY DORING by disqualification when Londrick (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) and manager Jim Cornette attacked the Valiants and Heenan. Roadkill & Doring tried to inject themselves into the battle, but they were quickly dealt with by both warring teams.
VERNE GAGNE (bootleg) beat S.D. JONES with a Flying Head Scissors.
STING (Crow bootleg) beat BRUISER BRODY (w/ Abdullah Farouk) with the Scorpion Death Lock finisher. After the match, Sting started to put Farouk in the hold, but Brody saved his manager with a steel chair across Sting's back. Brody then hit Sting again and again until LWF Prime Time GM Jerry Jarrett called a squadron of Laredo's finest in to haul Brody out. Sting needed help to leave the ring.
LWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP, 10-MINUTE TIME LIMIT Champion ANTONIO INOKI beat BUDDY ROBERTS (bootleg) with the Octopus Hold finisher in the fifth minute to retain the belt. After Inoki left, suddenly, Mike Jones appeared and decked Roberts with a set of brass knucks. Jones then produced what appeared to be a $100 bill and stuffed it into Roberts' mouth. Jones was then heard to say, "Mr. Dibiase will see you on Monday."
JACK BRISCO (bootleg) beat KEN RAPER (Memphis bootleg) with the Figure Four Leglock finisher.
GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) beat TONY GAREA (bootleg) with a Small Package with the tights.
RIC FLAIR (bootleg) beat BRUNO SAMMARTINO (bootleg) with a Knee Clip.
LWF PRIME TIME MAIN EVENT -- PRIME TIME CHAMPIONSHIP REMATCH MIL MASCARAS beat Champion HACKENSCHMIDT by disqualification when Hackenschmidt hit Mascaras with the title belt; therefore, Hackenschmidt retains the belt. LWF WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
RICK MARTEL (bootleg) beat JIM JAMISON (Memphis bootleg) with a Flying Headscissors.

STEVE AUSTIN (bootleg) beat SHAWN MICHAELS (bootleg) with the Stone Cold Stunner. After last week's loss to Austin, Michaels said that, if Austin beat him again, he would leave the LWF. As Austin had his postmatch celebration, Michaels slowly walked the aisle to the back, occasionally turning and glancing at the ring he was leaving for the last time. Austin took the mic and said, "Shawn, it's like I said before, you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Greg Valentine, don't think I've forgotten about you. We've got a Falls Count Anywhere match this Sunday night (at the Summertime Bruise PPV). This Sunday night, Valentine, all those days and nights I spent in the hospital, all the therapy I had to go through on my neck, you're gonna get it all back, and you're gonna get it all back with a major ass-kicking. And that's the bottom line, 'cause 'Stone Cold' said so!"
KING KONG BUNDY (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat JIMMY SNUKA by disqualification. Earlier in the night, Snuka said he was going to have a mystery partner for a tag team match this Sunday night against Bundy and Big John Studd. Studd interfered in this match behind the referee's back, and that brought out Snuka's mystery partner ... Andre the Giant! The ref saw Andre headbutt Bundy and called for the bell. Heenan hid behind his two behemoths as fans cheered the duo of Andre and Snuka.
LWF WORLD CLASS MAIN EVENT -- WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP Champion The ROCK (bootleg) beat FRANK GOTCH with the Rock Bottom finisher. Gotch won the title shot last week in a Triple Threat match against Superstar Billy Graham and Rob Van Dam. Graham ran in and attacked Gotch. While the referee tried to get Graham and manager Captain Lou Albano away from the ring, World Champion Hulk Hogan, Rock's opponent this Sunday, entered the ring, and Gotch held Rock up for a clothesline. However, Rock ducked, and Hogan clotheslined Gotch. Rock then hit the Rock Bottom on Hogan, but, before Rock could deliver the People's Elbow, Sir Oliver Humperdink pulled Hogan out of the ring. Gotch very woozily got to his feet and fell victim to a Rock Bottom, and Rock made the pin to successfully retain his belt. Rock then eyed Hogan in the aisle and gestured to "bring it on" as TV time expired.

VALIANT BROTHERS (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant) (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat DANNY HODGE & LES THATCHER when Johnny beat Thatcher with the Top Rope Elbow finisher. Prime Time Tag Team Champions Londrick (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) and manager Jim Cornette charged the ring, and the Valiants and Heenan bailed. GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) beat STING (Crow card) (bootleg) with the Spinning Toe Hold finisher. This came after Bruiser Brody and manager Abdullah Farouk wheeled out a casket, and George clipped Sting's knee while he was distracted. After the bell, Brody wanted to go after Sting, but Farouk told him to "save it for Sunday," as a Casket Match is scheduled between Brody and Sting.
NON-TITLE MATCH Prime Time Champion HACKENSCHMIDT and BRUNO SAMMARTINO (bootleg) went to a no-contest. Hackenschmidt attacked Sammartino from behnd as he was making his way to the ring, and the champion hit Bruno with everything that wasn't nailed down before the match could even begin. Tenay and Matysik speculated that there was no personal issue between the two men, but Hackenschmidt wanted to "make an example" of Sammartino to Mil Mascaras, who challenges for the title this Sunday night in a Mexican Death Match (Last Man Standing). EMT's tended to Sammartino as Hackenschmidt gloated in the aisle.

After the match, Snuka and Van Dam had left with Baba and Rikidozan celebrating with ringside fans when, suddenly, Terry Gordy and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams ran to the ring and blindsided the champions. Gordy Power Bombed Baba in the ring while, on the floor, Williams gave Rikidozan a devastating-looking Backdrop Driver, seemingly dropping the co-champion on his head. Referees came out, followed by Snuka and Van Dam, as Gordy and Williams left ringside. Rikidozan was not moving at all, while Baba tried in vain to get up under his own power. EMT's brought in a gurney with a neck brace for Rikidozan as TV time expired.

LWF WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH PENNY BANNER beat APRIL HUNTER (w/ Greg Valentine) by disqualification when the referee caught Valentine grabbing Banner's leg by the ropes. Banner will wrestle Trudi DeNucci for the title Sunday on PPV.
Bill Apter interviewed the Miracle Violence Combination, Terry Gordy & Steve Williams. After video was shown of how the two destroyed World Class Tag Team Champions Giant Baba & Rikidozan last week, in particular Rikidozan, whom Williams gave a Backdrop Driver on the concrete floor, Apter said that Rikidozan was badly injured and went back home to Japan, and Baba left with him out of loyalty. Therefore, LWF-WC GM Bill Watts ordered a match tonight between the MVC and Jimmy Snuka & Rob Van Dam, with the winners facing the Road Warriors for the LWF World Tag Team Championship this Sunday night on PPV. Gordy told Apter about how, though he and Williams only started teaming a short time ago, they had whipped every team in Japan and were now ready to go after LWF gold. As Gordy was talking, Buddy Roberts started towards the ring for his scheduled match and stopped at the interview stage to greet former partner Gordy. Roberts told the two that, even though he can't legally team with Gordy due to the stipulations of a match earlier this year breaking up the Freebirds for one year, he wanted to offer his managerial services to his old friend and Dr. Death. Williams turned him down, saying that the team already had a manager, who would be showing up shortly. Roberts asked Gordy to vouch for his experience, but Gordy said that he was sticking with his partner and the new manager. Roberts started to raise his voice, and Williams decked him with a right hand. Doc then started to waistlock Roberts for the Backdrop Driver, but Gordy stopped him. Gordy stepped in between the two ... and then kicked Buddy in the stomach, bent him over, and Power Bombed him onto the stage! As Roberts lay in an unmoving heap, Gordy yelled at him "We told you, 'Jack,' we got a manager, and I don't need you! The Freebirds are dead!" EMT's came out to tend to Roberts as Gordon Solie and Jim Ross speculated, correctly, that Roberts' scheduled match would be cancelled.
DANNY DORING (w/ Amish Roadkill) beat KING KONG BUNDY (w/ Bobby Heenan) with the Danaconda after Doring and Roadkill double-team suplexed Bundy while the referee was trying to get Heenan off the ring apron and back down to the floor. Solie and Ross termed this an upset.
WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH The MIRACLE VIOLENCE COMBINATION (Terry Gordy & Steve Williams) beat JIMMY SNUKA & ROB VAN DAM when Gordy beat Van Dam with the Piledriver finisher. Bill Alfonso, who had, in the past, subtly helped Snuka and Van Dam with fast counts and favorable calls, was assigned as the referee for this match. The MVC started quickly on their opponents, with Williams dropping Snuka with the Backdrop Driver and Gordy pummeling Van Dam. When Gordy made the cover for the pin, Alfonso counted fast. After declaring Gordy and Williams the winners, Alfonso called for the mic. He then said, "Bill Watts ... I QUIT!" He then tore off his striped referee shirt and led the MVC to the back.
LWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP, 10-MINUTE TIME LIMIT Champion HACKENSCHMIDT (w/ Zodiac [Bob Orton Sr. card]) beat GEORGE SOUTH with the Russian Bear Hug finisher in the seventh minute to retain the belt.
Backstage, Bill Apter caught up to Bill Alfonso and the Miracle Violence Combination. Alfonso explained that he had, admittedly, tried to help Snuka and Van Dam against the World Class Tag Champions, but they couldn't get the job done. He said that when "Superfly" and "Mr. Monday Night" decided to forego any more "help" and play it straight with the Japanese, he decided that it was time to put in a call to Japan and bring in "the biggest, baddest pair of gaijins those Tokyo crowds have ever seen!" Now, he said, with both Snuka and Van Dam and the Japanese team out of the way, it's time to bring on the Road Warriors.
GREG VALENTINE (w/ April Hunter) beat COUSIN LUKE with a Sunset Flip.
LWF World Cruiserweight Champion RED BASTIEN & RICK MARTEL (bootleg) and NIGEL McGUINNESS & BIG JOHN STUDD (Masked Superstar II card) went to a double disqualification for the second week in a row.
FRANK GOTCH beat JERRY BRISCO (bootleg) with the Gotch Toehold finisher.
LWF WORLD CLASS MAIN EVENT STEVE AUSTIN (bootleg) beat SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM (bootleg) (w/ Captain Lou Albano) with a Falling Elbow Drop after two Stone Cold Stunner finishers.

Inoki won the first fall with a Cobra Twist and the second fall with the Enzuigiri finisher. After winning the match, Inoki helped Thesz up, and the two shook hands. Thesz then raised Inoki's hand in victory ... and then gave him the Greco-Roman Backdrop! With Inoki down, Thesz started to make a move towards the Japanese star but seemed to think better of it and simply left the ring, with Mike Tenay and Larry Matysik wondering what was going through Thesz's mind.
