Sorry if this topic has already been discussed. I'm still uncertain that I will purchase Legends Online and it really hinges on one thing.
Will we be able to imput wrestlers that are not signed up and are likely not to ever be?
Even if we had to pay the equvilent of the ingame cards for a Create a Wrestler 'card stock' I would probably opt for that than miss out on the options of having all the wrestlers we have aquired.
Also I'd like to see one background art work of a ring with an Old 80's type of WWF logo for the LWF.

As far as I have heard, there will definately be CAC's for LOW Online. I have no "official" knowledge beyond what others do, but it has been talked about the whole time.
What I am thinking is that, even though, some people don't like bootlegs, if there are some guys that will be argreed upon as "agreed apon" bootlegs. We will see, but the CAC's should not be an issue.

CAC slots will be interchangeable between both COTGonline and LEGENDSonline. There will be "Legends style" artwork uploaded into the CAC system at LEGENDSonline launch time so people who own or purchase CAC slots can begin creating their own Legends.

Great news, Osk! If we have legends artwork that we would like to donate, how do we go about that?

Thanks for the answers. I'm waiting for my laptop to arrive before I get the whole package which should be any day now.
I'm still not clear on one thing, how does the card stock work?
What I can gather is that I can add stats, but are you saying that I can only choose art that has been donated?
Will ther be art for all the wrestlers who aren't online?
Thanks.

The problem with using donated artwork for wrestlers not signed to the game would be that it would be using that wrestlers likeness in a for-profit product for which they did not consent. It's one thing to use drawings of fictional wrestlers for the Champions of the Galaxy side of things, but using a drawing of a real wrestler just would not work. In short, It would be illegal to use someone's image if they didn't sign to be part of the game.
Create a wrestler allows you to input any name and stats you wish to the cardback, but you have to use pre-existing artwork for the front. There is a vast library of full color art to use, mostly Champions Of the Galaxy themed characters (but many that would work for legends), and a current selection of about a dozen "legends" templates to use. You can also "clone" any card you currently own in online form and change stats as you wish or use the card front for whatever character you want (you could make a Col. Mustafa card and use the Iron Sheik card front, for instance). Right now I've got pretty good versions of Lex Luger and BamBam Bigelow using the CAC feature, and I'll be working on Paul Orndorff and Tony Atlas pretty soon. Even without their photos being available I really like the results.

I totally realize that we can't use drawings for guys not signed, but as we know, certain bootleg sets have characters that "look like" certain people that might be useful in the art section. It was just an idea.
Also, I would wonder how many people would rather have more artwork available, even if it is not in color, compared tp having 3 to 9 versions of the same character.

So it sounds like you can imput the stats of any wrestlers but you can't upload any images to match them. I'm talking about the current LOW wrestlers that haven't signed of course.
This will probably effect the decision I make about purchasing Online or not. Thanks to all those who helped clear this matter up.

I would never use the CACs if I couldn't upload a pic. Hopefully this is something that is changed down the line.

I doubt this will ever be changed. Too much risk of an unlicensed pic being used and FG getting sued over it.
