I hope it's not Scott Lost. I like him. Yeah I know because I saw your thread about Arrogance (Lost and Chris Bosh). I'm hoping it's somebody like Super Dragon because he's been pretty much done for awhile anyway, yet he hasn't officially announced his retirement and is still listed on the PWG roster. So giving him an official farewell match at PWG's 7th anniversary show would be OK with me, especially if it means a more active PWG wrestler such as Lost isn't the one retiring instead. However, if it indeed turns out to be a more active PWG wrestler, then my guess is it would unfortunatly be either Lost or Joey Ryan with Lost being more likely the one of those two leaving IMO.

I hope it's not Scott Lost. I like him. The more I think about it, I really don't think it's going to be someone active like Lost or Joey Ryan. Instead I really think it's going to be Human Tornado getting a proper farewell/send off match for his retirement. But we'll know for sure on Monday.

I'd guess Super Dragon doing a final goodbye.
Didn't Human Tornado end his retirement or is he still retired?
isn't Bryan Danielson on the card? Maybe he's doing another farewell to PWG before hopefully returning to WWE soon.

Maybe he's doing another farewell to PWG before hopefully returning to WWE soon. I think Super Dragon is a real possibility too. Human Tornado officially announced his retirement in the ring (although I don't think it made the DVD) at PWG's As the Worm Turns show that me and Cman attended last February. But since then Human Tornado made a surprise appearance by wrestling at the 2 ROH shows that I attended when you and me were in Phoenix for Wrestlemania 26 weekend and there has been alot of people wanting him to do one last PWG match. Bryan Danielson is indeed wrestling this show too. But, even though I completely do agree with you that this may indeed be Danielson's last ever PWG show before returning to the WWE, I really don't think it's Danielson in this case. Silverback posted "On Friday, July 30, 2010, the career of a long-time Pro Wrestling Guerrilla competitor will come to an end." To me that sounds like it's someone's entire wrestling career is ending and not just their PWG career.

I hope it's not Scott Lost. I like him. I have bad news Switchfoot, it IS Scott Lost (I'm not happy about this news either). I let out more than an expletive when I read that it was indeed Lost who was retiring. He was one of my favorite PWG guys, sucks to see him go. I honestly think they should have tried to get Chris Bosh to come out of retirement for one match so they could be sent off together, cheesy as that sounds.
I wonder if Chester Brodwell will be at the show?

I wonder if Chester Brodwell will be at the show? I'm wondering if Bosh might perhaps show up for Lost's retirement. And I will be completely shocked if Joey Ryan doesn't show as well even though he is supposedly "out of town" (yeah, right ) that day. Lost and Scorpio Sky have had some wars in the past for PWG (as part of my PWG Sells Out Volume 1 DVD set, I have the match where Arrogance defeated the Aerial Xpress in their Titles vs Masks match at PWG's 2nd anniversary show and the blood was literally just gushing out of the back of Scorpio Sky's mask as he lay on his back on the canvas before having to unmask). So a returning Scorpio Sky as Losts's final opponent makes sense from that perspective. With Lost leaving, only Joey Ryan is left of the founding 6 for PWG (although Excalibur is still there too but only as the commissioner and the main commentator and Super Dragon is still listed on the roster too- but he hasn't wrestled in quite awhile and is reportedly pretty out of shape.)

This is what Silverback posted on PWG's website tonight:
July 01, 2010 - We here at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla would like to thank each of our fans that helped make Seven, our seventh anniversary event taking place on Friday, July 30, 2010, the fastest selling live event in company history. Front Row tickets have already sold out, and General Admission seats are going quickly as well!
If you are planning on attending Seven, we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible! This is one show you do not want to miss!
Wow!
To put this in perspective, tickets for upcoming PWG shows typically go on sale 1 month in advance (just like in this case) but you can often still buy front row seats the week of the show. At last year's anniversary show, it was standing room only- and you could still buy front row seats almost up to the start of the show. But for this show, front row PWG seats sold out in less than 72 hours! I'm glad I got my front row seats on Monday night as soon as they went on sale.
the PWG return of Bryan Danielson!
the final wrestling match of Scott Lost!
Chris Hero finally getting his rematch against PWG Champion Davey Richards!
the Young Bucks vs the Cutlers in the first-ever tag team guerrilla warfare match!
PWG World Tag Team Champions El Generico and Paul London defending their championship against the returning Motor City Machine Guns!
the American Legion Post in Reseda is IMO is a great venue for an Indy fed like PWG. Unlike some buildings where I've seen Indy shows, the acoustics at the American Legion Post are awesome and it's conducive for a great (although completely drunken due to the cheap pitchers of beer they sell at the bar) atmosphere for PWG shows. But I'm wondering if the American Legion Post might be too small for this 7th anniversary show and perhaps there won't be any tickets left for fans to purchase by the day of the show which would be unusual for PWG.
PWG's Seven is just 4 weeks from today! I can't wait!

Switchfoot, Do you have the DVD for Kurt Russellreunion (the show used to be called Kurt Rusellmania, but apparently the WWE got pissed)? I remember that you're a big fan of the Great Muta and you also like Scott Lost too. If you don't have it, at Kurt Russellmania Scott Lost (in a tag match with Joey Ryan) actually wrestles the Great Muta and Kai with Muta even shooting his green mist into Lost's eyes at one point in the match. Since you like both Muta and Lost, I just thought you might like to see that match if you haven't already.
