I was playing Legends yesterday and Jimmy Valiant was out with an injury, so Johnny Valiant had to face off against Bobo Brazil in a singles bout.
I tried the "Havoc" rule, treating the (tag) like a (c) rule (Johnny Valiant's choke with tag rope (tag) to be exact). I liked it...just moved him up to Level 2 Offense. He still lost the bout (which was expected), but it's a great idea. Helps on the continuous re-rolling if that tag is rolled.

Agreed, I have been using it in both my Legends and GWF feds, and I like it...it finally does balance some of the tag guys when they are flying solo.

If you use that rule, do you always move down a level on offence? What's the alternative if you choose not to?

The alternative is continuous rerolling on the same offensive level...which increases the odds that a tag specialist wrestling singles will hit his singles finisher...which is kinda wonky.

Ah, sounds good to me. I'll have to give that a try.

I've used it on a few occasions today and it's working good. I'll definitely be sticking to this rule. Makes the game move better

Interesting idea, although I can't think of too many instances, where your would want to level up on purpose.

It's not intended to be a choice, TM...its meant to be a tag wrestler looking for his double-team spot, not having his partner, and losing momentum as he thinks of something else to do.

It works really well. I have used it the whole time I have been playing, not knowing I read the rule wrong and I was supposed to roll on the same offensive level according to the actual rules. I have never had a problem with the tag team specialists becoming overpowered. It really tones the Road Warriors down in single competition I would imagine. Plus guys like Johnny Valiant who have a tag finisher and a regular finisher they would get to reroll the tag finisher on Level 3 under current rules. So instead of a 1/6 chance of hitting his finisher, he would have a 1/5 chance. 20 percent and 16 isnt a lot, but I think it would be enough to make a difference. The Valiants have always struggled in my fed, so not sure if I played by the actual rules if they would get that much better......
