KILLER BEES def. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK & DELIRIOUS
Week two of the MWE kicked off with a really good tag match. Last wee we saw that somehow Ultramantis had hynotized Delirious into working for him. That didn't work out too well here as when Delirious was on the apron he didn't do anything, leaving Ultramantis to fend for himself. Which he did, withstanding a huge beating. Blair and Brunzell won the match, but Crossbones ran out to help the Neo-Solar Temple with a beatdown.
CHUCK TAYLOR def. IRON MIKE DIBIASE
Another solid matchup with a lot of misses and reversals. Taylor connected on a dive then the Awful Waffle twice for the pin.
BACKSEAT BOYZ def. TEAM FIST
More top notch action as the Boyz were on top of their game. Acid kicked out of the Yoshi-Tonic and the Wings of Icarus. The Boyz got things going after a trip to the floor and the T-Gimmick ended the match. Chuck Taylor came in to help his Team FIST partners afterwards.
LES THATCHER def. J.D. MICHAELS
Thatcher didn't take long to win this one with the Stump Puller.
FLYING RED HEADS & BRAD ARMSTRONG def. GORGEOUS GEORGE, ADRIAN STREET & ROB JAMES
The Redheads were attacked by Rob James after winning their match last week. They enlisted the aid of Brad Armstrong but didn't really need him. Bastien put James down with the atomic drop.
OPHIDIAN def. KOKO B. WARE
A long match that Koko really controlled most of the way. Ophidian took a lot of punishment and came back to win with the Cobra Death Grip.
AMASIS def. JIGSAW
Jigsaw beat Ophidian last week then was jumped by Amasis. The match was over before anyone even knew it with Amasis using the Egyptian Conniption.
ANTONINO ROCCA, ILIO DIPAOLO & PEPPER GOMEZ def. KONNAN, IRON SHEIK, BUDDY ROSE
Konnan was isolated and triple teamed. Rocca ended the match with a top rope splash.
All Matches dos de tres caídas
SEMIFINALS
MWE TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
THE COLONY def. NAPTOWN DRAGONS, 2-1
An awesome first fall as the Dragons were able to pound on all three of the Ants. The Colony somehow grabbed the first fall after a brawl following a pin save. Fire Ant pinned Scotty Vortekz. The Dragons evened the match after a fight on the outside and the Double Dragon finisher. More great action before the end of the match with the Ants go Marchin on Younger. All six were in the ring when the Ants got the last three count to reach the final.
TIGER MASK, JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER & MIKE QUACKENBUSH def. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, 2-0
Jim Cornette ended up not being much of a factor in this one. Stan Lane took most of the damage and the first fall came with Liger using a top rope hurracanrana. The Tiger Suplex on Lane brought his teammates in. The ref was distracted and Lane rolled up for the pin.
