It was a random draw so that's how it came out. I usually leave things the way they are when I do it randomly. Also considering only the winner of each block advances but I can decide that later.

I still think going random is part of a gut feeling of sorts, I would stick with the groups it will be interesting to see how it all turns out...

Since the top two from each block go to the finals, I'd say it's fine the way it is.

Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (Mexican Wrestling Enterprise)
Lucha Lords #4 Acapulco, Guerrero Mexico Jan. 25, 2119
MIDNIGHT EXPRESS def. THE COLONY
It was the Colony who knocked Jim Cornette's men out of the Trios tournament in the semifinals. Lane and Condrey had little trouble in
winning this matchup. A superkick by Lane and then a piledriver by Condrey finished off Fire Ant.
B. BRIAN BLAIR def. CROSSBONES
Crossbones stuck his nose in the Killer Bees' business a couple weeks ago. B. Brian Blair took care of things, although the match was a nice
and long one. Blair finally won with a Boston Crab.
KONNAN & IRON SHEIK def. PEPPER GOMEZ & ILIO DIPAOLO
Things were going good for Gomez and DiPaolo. Konnan held on and made the tag. The Iron Sheik won this one with the Camel Clutch on DiPaolo.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. BUDDY ROSE
Another long, hard fought match with Rocca controlling most of the action. Rose kept battling but Rocca won with a victory roll.
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block B
The round robin tournament is underway. Two points are awarded for wins by pinfall or submission. One point for a win by D.Q. or C.O.
AMASIS def. BRIAN KENDRICK
The first match in the round robin tournament was an excellent one. Two very evenly matched cruiserweights went all out and back and forth.
Both were in trouble and came back to nearly win. Amasis used Egyptian Conniption to beat the former U.S. tag team champion.
KOKO B. WARE def. RICKY LANDELL
This one had a good fast pace and didn't go long. Koko B. Ware caught a crossbody for the three count.
PAUL LONDON def. DELIRIOUS
Another match that looked good on paper but ended in a hurry. Delirious never got on track and London won with an Oklahoma Sideroll.
MIKE QUACKENBUSH def. ADRIAN STREET
Adrian Street took over with help from Miss Linda at ringside. Quackenbush came back and won with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.
Standings 1. Amasis 2 pts. Koko B. Ware 2 pts. Paul London 2 pts. Mike Quackenbush 2 pts. 2. Brian Kendrick 0 pts. Ricky Landell 0 pts. Delirious 0 pts. Adrian Street 0 pts.
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block C
BOBBY EATON def. DANNY DORING
It was all Beautiful Bobby in this one. Doring mustered no defense at all and Eaton steamrolled to the win with the Alabama Jam.
BILLY RED LYONS def. J.D. MICHAELS
A great matchup between two former World Jr. heavyweight champions. Michaels tried to come off the top rope too soon in the match. From there Lyons dominated with multiple finishers until winning with the figure four.
GRAN AKUMA def. CHRIS CANDIDO
An awesome contest that could have gone either way. Sunny intereferred on behalf of the Suicide Blond and the match kept going in and out of the ring. The referee went down in the corner but the match continued with no disqualifications. Gran Akuma came out on top with the Yoshi Tonic.
BRYAN DANIELSON def. TRENT ACID
Problems between these two started last week on ECW Hardcore TV when after a tag match between the Backseat Boyz and Danielson and Steve Corino, the American Dragon put the Cattle Mutilation on Acid once again. The Dragon destroyed Acid in this match and was all business as he crushed Acid, winning with the Cattle Mutilation. He put the move on again after the match.
Standings 1. Bobby Eaton 2 pts. Billy Red Lyons 2 pts. Gran Akuma 2 pts. Bryan Danielson 2 pts. Danny Doring 0 J.D. Michaels 0 Chris Candido 0 Trent Acid 0
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block D
ULTRAMANTIS BLACK def. JIMMY JACOBS
Right at the start UltraMantis hit his finisher. Jacobs is as tough as they come and the match went back and forth. Jacobs was unable to use his patented spike and the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex put him down for the three count.
CHUCK TAYLOR def. BRAD ARMSTRONG
Chuck Taylor easily disposed of Brad Armstrong, the man who got a World Jr. heavyweight title match last week. Armstrong kicked out of the Awful Waffle three times in a row before being pinned following a moonsault.
JUSHIN LIGER def. MIKE DIBIASE
An unbelievable match as Iron Mike DiBiase very much should have won this match. He owned Liger at every turn but could not get the three count. Liger showed how tough he is by continually coming back and pulled out the win with a top rope huracanrana.
TIGER MASK def. JIGSAW
The final match of the day saw Jigsaw hang right with Tiger Mask. These two were a blur of motion and neither could get the other down for very long. Once Tiger Mask got the Tiger Suplex it was all over.
Standings 1. UltraMantis Black 2 pts. Chuck Taylor 2 pts. Jushin Liger 2 pts. Tiger Mask 2 pts. 2. Jimmy Jacobs 0 Brad Armstrong 0 Mike DiBiase 0 Jigsaw 0

Adrian Street slowed down Delirious and gave him a second straight loss to start the tournament. The Dafadil and then the Crucifix beat Delirious.

Dark Matches
THE COLONY def. S.D. JONES, JOHNNY RODZ & VIRGIL
Fan favorites the Colony took on the new team of Jones, Rodz and Virgil. They turned a nice all around match that the Ants won after a triple dropkick on Virgil.
NAPTOWN DRAGONS def. HEARTBREAK EXPRESS
This one was over in no time at all. A drop toe hold/double stomp combo move and then a swinging DDT by Dustin Lee pinned Sean Davis right after the bell rang. The Dragons laughed as they headed to the back while the Express screamed and hollered in the ring.
STAN LANE def. DANNY HODGE
A huge upset win for Stan Lane in a non-title match with the World Jr. heavyweight champion. Lane had Hodge's number in this one as everything he did worked and Hodge couldn't sustain his own offensive attack. Hodge was tough to finish off though but the Midnight Lariat, enzugiri and the superkick from Lane finally took its toll (Hodge 5 coins). Jim Cornette celebrated with his man as they headed to the back.
Lucha Lords #5 Oaxaca, Mexico Feb. 1, 2119
ILIO DIPAOLO def. BUDDY ROSE
A real good match between these two. DiPaolo scores a win over the Foreign Legion after hitting a knee off the second rope and then the airplane spin.
PEPPER GOMEZ def. IRON SHEIK
A very hard fought, back and forth match. The Iron Sheik is coming off a great performance at the Royal Rumble. These two went right at each other and Gomez won with a Mexican cradle. Konnan and Buddy Rose raced in for a triple beat down.
KONNAN def. ANTONINO ROCCA
Rocca picked up a win over Konnan two days ago in Puerto Rico. This time Konnan was dominant. After a six-way brawl this one got underway. The Tequila Sunrise twice gave Konnan the win. Another attack after the match took place by the Foreign Legion.
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block A
ICARUS def. DRAKE YOUNGER
This one was completely Icarus on offense. He was non-stop hitting a crossbody, then coming off the top before pinning Younger with the Pedigree.
RED BASTIEN def. JIM BRUNZELL
An amazing match that was truly epic. All in the ring wrestling between two great competitors. A ridiculous amount of nearfalls as neither man wanted to let another match go by in the tournament. Brunzell finally went down after a dropkick (Brunzell 6 coins, Bastien 4 coins).
SABU def. GORGEOUS GEORGE by C.O.
A brief stint on offense for George was followed by Sabu exploding. The Arabian facebuster and a springboard moonsault to the floor left George down and counted out of the ring.
OPHIDIAN def. LES THATCHER
A very long, evenly fought match. Neither could hold the momentum for very long and each man took some punishment on the outside but were not counted out. Ophidian grabbed the win with the Cobra Death Grip over the new ECW Television champion.
Standings 1. Gorgeous George 4 pts. Ophidian 4 Les Thatcher 4 Red Bastien 4 2. Sabu 3 3. Icarus 2 Jim Brunzell 2 4. Drake Younger 0
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament

Just a supermatchup here as Quackenbush receives his first loss of the tournament. Both men exchanged spectacular dives to the outside. Kendrick put Quack away with the Sliced Bread (Quackenbush 5 coins).
RICKY LANDELL def. PAUL LONDON
Landell looked damn good here as he destroyed London. Multiple finishers and a near countout. Two more Fisherman Buster's put London away (London 4 coins).
DELIRIOUS def. AMASIS
Another awesome bout that went back and forth over and over. Delirious began to take charge but Amasis is showing he's tough to finish off. It was the Chemical Imbalance that did just that (Amasis 5 coins).
ADRIAN STREET def. KOKO B. WARE
A very intense, fast paced matchup that had the fans all over the case of Street. Adrian made it worse for everyone by taking over the match. Koko kept fighting but went down after the Crucifix (Koko 3 coins).
Standings 1. Mike Quackenbush 4 pts. Adrian Street 4 Koko B. Ware 4 Ricky Landell 4 2. Amasis 2 Brian Kendrick 2 Delirious 2 Paul London 2
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block C
BRYAN DANIELSON def. DANNY DORING
The Dastardly One almost came away with his first tournament win. Doring put everything together and went for three straight covers, including using the Danaconda. Danielson survived and used his suplex arsenal for the win.
TRENT ACID def. BILLY RED LYONS
Acid takes his first tournament win over a former World Jr. heavyweight champion. Acid had it all going his way, came off the top, then a Yakuza Kick and the Acid Bomb for the three count.
CHRIS CANDIDO def. J.D. MICHAELS
J.D. looked on the verge of a big win but couldn't put Candido away. Sunny didn't have to lend a hand and Michaels has been without the services of April Hunter ever since the IWWF opened up. Candido won a good match with the Blond Bomb.
GRAN AKUMA def. BOBBY EATON
Beautiful Bobby seemed ready to remain unbeaten so far in the tournament. He was helped out by Jim Cornette at ringside. Akuma kept fighting back and finally referee Bryce Remsburg sent Cornette to the back. Akuma used the Yoshi Tonic to score a big win.
Standings 1. Gran Akuma 6 pts. 2. Bobby Eaton 4 Chris Candido 4 Bryan Danielson 4 3. Billy Red Lyons 2 J.D. Michaels 2 Trent Acid 2 4. Danny Doring 0
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block D
JIGSAW def. MIKE DIBIASE
A close match but Jigsaw put together more offense. He landed a missile dropkick for his first win in the tournament.
JUSHIN LIGER def. JIMMY JACOBS by C.O.
Jacobs very nearly won this match right after the bell rang. He hit the End Time but Liger kicked out. The masked Legend took over with a tombstone piledriver and then a springboard moonsault to the floor where Jacobs was counted out of the ring.
ULTRAMANTIS BLACK def. BRAD ARMSTRONG by C.O.
This one didn't go very long as Brad Armstrong was counted out of the ring. UltraMantis used his Praying Mantis Bomb on Armstrong after the match.
TIGER MASK def. CHUCK TAYLOR
Tiger Mask moved into first place with his pinfall win. Taylor did very little to slow the superstar down. Two Tiger Suplexes ended the match.
Standings 1. Tiger Mask 6 pts. 2. Jushin Liger 5 3. Chuck Taylor 4 4. UltraMantis Black 3 5. Brad Armstrong 2 Jigsaw 2 6. Jimmy Jacobs 0 Mike DiBiase 0

Dark Match
NAPTOWN DRAGONS def. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS
Condrey and Lane did a number on Dustin Lee, and Jim Cornette got his shots in as well. Lee somehow held on made the tag. Vortekz fought the good fight for his team by himself. They hit the Double Dragon and grabbed a huge win.
Lucha Lords #6 Puerto Escondido, Mexico Feb. 8, 2119
KONNAN & BUDDY ROSE def. ILIO DIPAOLO & PEPPER GOMEZ
A great tag team battle as the Foreign Legion is taking on anybody in both Mexico and Puerto Rico. These four have gone round and round and can't get enough of each otgher. Konnan took a beatdown but Buddy Rose kept the match alive. The Playboy ended this one with the Boston Crab on DiPaolo.
ANTONINO ROCCA def. DANNY HODGE
An awesome wrestling clinic between these two. Rocca, the new WWC Universal champion, and Hodge, the NWA World Jr. heavyweight champion went back and forth. The momentum went back and forth, but it was Rocca coming back to win with the Argentinian Backbreaker.
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block A
DRAKE YOUNGER def. OPHIDIAN
The first win of the tournament for Drake Younger. Ophidian had things going good at first. Younger took over with the light tube and then the Drakes Landing for the pin.
JIM BRUNZELL def. ICARUS
Another long, hard, evenly fought match. It took Brunzell hitting his big dropkick three times before getting the pin on Icarus.
SABU def. RED BASTIEN
Sabu made short work of Bastien. The former ECW TV champion landed an unearthly move to the outside, then hit Bastien off the top rope for the three count. Sabu wasn't done, nailing the Triple Jump Moonsault after the match.
LES THATCHER def. GORGEOUS GEORGE
Thatcher's ECW TV title was not on the line in this one. George was caught off-guard with a quick rollup by Thatcher for the pinfall.
Standings 1. Les Thatcher 8 pts. 2. Gorgeous George 6 3. Red Bastien 6 4. Jim Brunzell 6 5. Sabu 5 6. Ophidian 4 7. Icarus 2 8. Drake Younger 2
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block B
RICKY LANDELL def. AMASIS
A really good, evenly fought contest. Both men made use of the top rope and moves to the outside. Amasis missed a high-risk move, then Landell attacked. Amasis kicked out after a couple finishers but another Fisherman Buster put him away.
DELIRIOUS def. BRIAN KENDRICK
Delirious ran right over Kendrick to a fast win. A dive to the floor, his finisher and then 20 clotheslines ended the match.
ADRIAN STREET def. PAUL LONDON
Another quick on as Street made a reversal and caught London with the Crucifix.
MIKE QUACKENBUSH def. KOKO B. WARE
A big match at the top of the standings. This one was fast paced and pretty even until a palm strike put Koko down for the three count.
Standings 1. Mike Quackenbush 8 pts. 2. Adrian Street 8 3. Koko B. Ware 6 4. Ricky Landell 6 5. Delirious 4 6. Brian Kendrick 4 7. Amasis 2 Paul London 2
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block C
BILLY RED LYONS def. DANNY DORING
Doring jump started the match, but his attack didn't last long. Lyons took over and laid it on Doring. He finished him off with the Sleeper.
J.D. MICHAELS def. TRENT ACID
An Acid Bomb early didn't end things. These two exchanged big moves on the floor and off the top. Michaels hit his top rope elbow for the pin, then went up and did it again after the match.
BOBBY EATON def. CHRIS CANDIDO
This was an awesome encounter with a lot of action coming from Jim Cornette and Tammy Sytch. Candido used the Blond Bomb but Cornette interferred. Eaton landed the Alabama Jam but Sytch distracted the referee. She and Cornette argued as Eaton dropped the leg off the top again for the pin.
GRAN AKUMA def. BRYAN DANIELSON
Somehow Akuma just keeps on winning, remaining undefeated. Another excellent match with Danielson dishing out all kinds of punishment. An incredible move to the outside by Akuma led to the Yoshi Tonic and the win.

BRAD ARMSTRONG def. JIMMY JACOBS
Jacobs hit a springboard dropkick but then didn't follow up. Armstrong powerslammed Jacobs and the match was over just like that.
MIKE DIBIASE def. CHUCK TAYLOR
A great fight as DiBiase picks up his first win of the tournament. They went all out but the sleeper put away Taylor.
JIGSAW def. JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER
A major, gigantic upset. Liger dominated the action and was totally killing Jigsaw. They hit the ropes and somehow Jigsaw wrapped up Liger for a three count.
TIGER MASK def. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK
Tiger Mask made sure to win after the loss for Liger. Tiger Mask destroyed UMB and won with the Tiger Suplex.
Standings 1. Tiger Mask 9 pts. 2. Jushin Liger 7 3. Chuck Taylor 6 4. UltraMantis Black 5 5. Jigsaw 4 Brad Armstrong 4 6. Mike DiBiase 2 7. Jimmy Jacobs 0

Wow, a lot of action in the light heavyweight title tournament on this show. Sorry to see Ultramantis lose to Tiger Mask as a win there would have made Block D real interesting. Jigsaw over Liger is a big upset as you stated but maybe it could springboard Jigsaw into bigger things in your fed. One of the great things about this game is the possible upsets that can occur and take things in a different direction from time to time.
Gran Akuma over Danielson is a shocker but Akuma has a solid card. He's been doing really well in my fed too. Can't wait to see how this tournament wraps up and see who takes the gold. Also, the Rocca vs. Hodge match sounded like it was a great one.

NOTE: for the first time I'm dropping in a few bootlegs I made. If I'd thought about it before I would have put those cruiserweights into the tournament. I have a few more that will see time in Mexico, Puerto Rico and maybe even ECW.
Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (Mexican Wrestling Enterprise)
Dark Matches
BLACK TIGER def. MR. JL
New cruiserweights are making their way to Mexico. These two masked Luchadors got the crowd going with great high-flying action. Black Tiger quickly had a pin attempt after a missile dropkick. Mr. JL did not make things easy for Black Tiger, getting a two-count with a Victory Roll. JL kicked out of the Tombstone piledriver, and the two kept going back and forth. Black Tiger eventually won with another Tombstone after hitting some spectacular dives to the floor.
DEVON STORM def. THE COBRA
Another unbelievable, amazing high-flying match. These nearly died after all the moves to the concrete floor. Storm dominated the match, but the Cobra still had his chances at winning. The Cobra missed his top rope head butt, and was kicked off the top rope and almost counted out of the ring. Storm hit the Moonsault to grab a huge win in the debut for both men.
SOLDIER ANT def. CROSSBONES
A great matchup here as Crossbones' size and power advantage let him dominate for a time. Soldier Ant showed the toughness of an army man, taking the Freakin Sweet Driver four times and not getting pinned. Crossbones was just as tough but went down for the three after a falling headbutt.
Lucha Lords #7 Morelia, Mexico Feb. 15, 2119
FIRE ANT def. DENNIS CONDREY
The Colony embarrassed Jim Cornette's men one more time. Fire Ant had it all going his way, winning with the Beach Break
STAN LANE def. B. BRIAN BLAIR
The Bee was kicking Lane's butt all around the ring. On the outside Blair was caught but Cornette and Lane, and sent into the ringpost. Lane then nailed the superkick and it was all over for Blair.
KONNAN & BUDDY ROSE def. ANTONIO INOKI & RIKIDOZAN
The fans welcomed the World tag team champions to Mexico. They gave Rose and Konnan a massive beating, but somehow they kept the match going with interference and pin saves. Rose knocked Inoki off the top rope allowing Konnan to plant him with a power bomb and score the huge upset win, which left the champs and the crowd stunned (Konnan 4 coins, Rose 3 coins).
MWE Light-heavyweight Title Tournament
Block A
GORGEOUS GEORGE def. DRAKE YOUNGER
Younger finally got his first win of the tournament last week, but couldn't build on that success. It wasn't for lack of trying though as he hit Drake's Landing twice on George, and the match seemed suited to Younger with a lot of activity on the outside. George slammed him off the top rope though and a quick roll up resulted in a three count.
RED BASTIEN def. ICARUS
A crazy wild out of control match. Both men nearly killed themselves on moves to put the other one down. Bastien missed and was sent to the floor but beat the count. Icarus was nailed coming off the top rope and he was nearly counted out. Bastien hit an atomic drop for the win (Icarus 4 coins).
SABU def. OPHIDIAN
Yet one more great match. Both men pulling out all the stops for a win. Ophidian enjoyed a lot of success and had his finisher on Sabu. Both hit and missed big moves from the top. Sabu went to the chair and crushing dives outside. Then the Triple Jump Moonsault was the end for Ophidian.
LES THATCHER def. JIM BRUNZELL
Les Thatcher, the ECW TV champion, took the fight to Jumping Jim Brunzell. He was all over the ring with great dropkicks and repeated rollups and sunset flips. Then it took the Stump Puller twice to finally finish off Brunzell (Brunzell 4 coins).
Standings 1. Les Thatcher 10 pts. 2. Gorgeous George 8 3. Red Bastien 8 4. Sabu 7 5. Jim Brunzell 6 6. Ophidian 4 7. Icarus 2 8. Drake Younger 2
Next week will see the final round of the round robin portion of the tournament.
In Block A, Les Thatcher is in first place and faces Red Bastien. A win by Red and a loss by Gorgeous George to Ophidian would put Bastien into the championship tournament. Thatcher can lose the match and still advance out of pool play. If George and Bastien each win, then Thatcher and George will move on as George defeated Red earlier in the tournament. If Red and George both lose, then Thatcher and George will be the representatives out of Block A.
Block B
PAUL LONDON def. AMASIS
A completely amazing match as Paul London was a house of fire with virtually non-stop offense. However, Amasis seemed unbeateable as no matter what London did Amasis kicked out and found a bit of his own offense.
