Another video full of tye-dye and psychedelic images with "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith playing aired. This time the text read: "What You See is What You Get... And What You Don't See is Better Yet." Again the letters evaporated into the numbers 2.27.11. Who is this mysterious legend set to debut at NEW FRONTIERS?...
The team of Bobo Brazil & D'lo Brown defeated the team of "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff & The Masked Superstar when Greg "the Hammer" Valentine attacked Orndorff costing his team the match. With the win Bobo Brazil & D'lo Brown qualify for the 6-Team New Frontiers Match...

London, Kendrick, Windham & Rotundo took advantage of their opponents inability to work as a team to gain the last two spots in the match at NEW FRONTIERS...
World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Bockwinkel called "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka out. Snuka with the World Championship belt around his waist and accompanied by "Sir" Oliver Humperdink made his way to the ring. Humperdink announced Snuka as the first recruit into The Humperdink Army. Bockwinkel told Snuka that he would give him his rematch on two conditions. "Number 1. You give me my championship belt back right now. The other condition, when I beat you at NEW FRONTIERS and make no mistake about it Snuka, I will beat you, you cannot challenge for any RING OF GLORY championship for a year." After a brief conference with his new manager, Snuka agreed to the condition. Just as Snuka was handing the championship belt back to Bockwinkel, the 2nd recruit of Humperdink's Army made his appearance. The Mountie snuck up behind Bockwinkel and zapped him with his cattle prod. The Mountie said into the camera, "The Humperdink Army always gets their man." Snuka then dropped the championship belt on the fallen Bockwinkel. And just as Snuka was about to climb the turnbuckle, the United States Heavyweight Champion, Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy stormed into the ring and made the save running off Humperdink, Snuka and his NEW FRONTIERS opponent, The Mountie...
In a New Frontiers qualifying match, "The Legendary" Johnny Valentine defeated Yukon Eric following an Atomic Skullcrusher...
The RING OF GLORY Chairman of the Championship Trust, Dick Hutton announced that the last two participants in the 10-Man New Frontiers Steel Cage Match would be suprise entrants...
Before Honor Guard went off the air, Hulk Hogan, with a document in his hands made his way to the ring. He said that he hadn't been able to sleep since BATTLEBOWL because of what happened between him and his best friend, Andre the Giant. Hogan promised to make it right. So he called the "Eighth Wonder of the World" down to the ring. After a few moments, Andre answered the call and made his way to the ring. Hogan: "I want to make it right, brother. I have in my hand a contract to face The Road Warriors for the World Tag Team Championship at NEW FRONTIERS. All I need is your signature and we'll make history brother."Andre took the contract and looked at Hogan. The crowd was on their feet anticipating what would happen next. Andre looked around at the capacity crowd and smiled. Hogan handed him a pen and Andre roughly turned Hogan around, fearing the worse, Hogan kept his eyes on Andre and watched as he put the contract across Hogan's shoulders and signed it. The crowd went wild as Hogan and Andre shook hands. Hogan raised both of their hands in victory as Honor Guard went off the air.
That's it for "The RING OF GLORY Honor Guard Re-Wind" for February 15th. I'll be back in a couple of days with the results of the February 22nd episode of RING OF GLORY Powerhouse.
Until then...

In the opening match, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff defeated "The Golden Greek" Jim Londos to qualify for the Glory X Match at WRESTLERAGE V...
After the break "The Untouchable" Roderick Strong came to the ring and started bragging about how at NEW FRONTIERS he "was able to do what no one else could and that was to defeat 'Superstar' Billy Graham in the New Frontiers Match." Strong had some words for the newest RING OF GLORY Legend. "'Superstar' no one is impressed." Upon hearing this "Superstar" Billy Graham made his Honor Guard debut to a roaring crowd. Graham told Strong that he reminds him of himself. "But as you know," Graham said. "There's only one, 'Superstar' and jack that ain't you. You are looking at the reflection of perfection. Often imitated. Never duplicated. And brother, you ain't got what it takes to hang with the 'Superstar'." With that Strong challenged him to a match later in the night. A challenge that the "Superstar" accepted with an open hand slap to the young upstart's face...
In a 2 -out of-3 Falls Match for the World Class Heritage Championship, Ed "Strangler" Lewis defeated "Macho Man" Randy Savage in two straight falls to retain the title...
In a match for the United States Tag Team Championship, The Hart Foundation defeated the team of Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo by disqualification when the Harts were attacked by The Midnight Express. Before it was all said and done the U.S. Tag Team Champions, Windham & Rotundo exchanged blows with The Midnight Express. As a result the manager of the Midnights, Jim Cornette, challenged Windham & Rotundo to defend their U.S. Tag Team titles in two weeks on the next episode of RING OF GLORY Honor Guard. A challenge the defending champions happily accepted...
"Superstar" Billy Graham defeated "The Untouchable" Roderick Strong by pinfall following an Earth-shattering Superstar Spinebuster...
1/2 of the new World Tag Team Champions, Hulk Hogan threw a big celebration party for him and his partner, Andre the Giant. Andre walked out of the party when Hogan said, "I've known ever since I beat you at WrestleMania III, brother, that we had a higher calling; a destiny. A destiny to be the Tag Team Champions of the World." Hogan was clearly upset that his World Tag Team Championship partner walked away. So much so that he left the party to go talk to him...
In the main event the unlikely team of the World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Bockwinkel and the #1 Contender (thanks to his victory at NEW FRONTIERS) "The Legendary" Johnny Valentine defeated the Sir Oliver Humperdink led team of "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka & The Mountie. After the match, Valentine was able to take the World Championship belt from Snuka who looked to be trying to steal it again. After he ran off Snuka, Valentine stood in the middle of the ring holding the championship belt. Bockwinkel climbed into the ring and was clearly confused by why Valentine was holding his belt. Valentine just stood in the ring and stared at the big gold belt in his hands. Finally, Bockwinkel, deciding he had enough, grabbed a mic and demanded that Valentine "give (him) my championship belt." Valentine stared at it a few moments longer before handing the belt to Bockwinkel. Valentine left the ring without saying a word. As Honor Guard was going off the air Bockwinkel stood in the ring cradling his belt. As if feeling for the first time in a long time that the World Heavyweight Championship might be slipping from his grasp.
That's it for the "RING OF GLORY Honor Guard Re-Wind." for March 1st. I'll be back in a few days with the results from the March 8th episode of RING OF GLORY Powerhouse.
Until then...

RING OF GLORY Re-Branding
Greetings promoters,
I am a very fickle promoter. The last few weeks I have been kicking around the idea of rolling an LOW/COTG Fusion Fed. My problem was I couldn't come up with a name that satisfied me. So, with hta in mind this past weekend I decided that I would re-brand RING OF GLORY. In the reverse of WWE's re-branding deemphasizing the sport we all love. With that in mind I want to emphasize the sport by renaming RING OF GLORY The World Wrestling Alliance (WWA) the champions will remain the same. However, the title names wil change to reflect the re-branding. So, what does thay hold for RING OF GLORY? (a name I love) Well, I've decided that my new Fusion Fed will be called RING OF GLORY. I feel that this is an appropriate name. And I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens when "THE ICON" FRANK GOTCH (a beast in my feds) goes one-one-one with ENDGAME! Should be exciting. My first WWA posting will be on the March pay-per-view, SABOTAGE. Hopefully that will be up in a couple days.
Until then...
Keep it Rollin' Promoters, -Tony WWA RING OF GLORY
