Switchblade got a back injury and called it quits after a year of wrestling hurt.

Blazing Skull has a mechanic on his card where if a certain number is rolled, he ends his opponent's career with his finisher (I can't remember the name of the finisher though). I believe this card was in one of the Bash sets. That Blazing Skull card was part of the Birthday Bash set. It was a mechanic labeled Explosion 12 attached to a down-3 on his L3D in which if you rolled that down-3 then you rolled two dice. If the result of that dice roll was 12 that meant fire came out of Blazing Skull's head and you rolled two more dice and if the result of that second roll was 11-12 then Blazing Skull's opponent was permanently injured and unable to wrestle ever again.

Did anyone ever use this mechanic? Did anyone ever have a major GWF star put out by this?

The chances of it happening were minscule (rolling a 12, then an 11-12, less than a 1% chance I think)
However I think some promoters may have put guys out on purpose.

It's a 3% chance of rolling a 12 Then about an 8% chance from there of rolling 11 or 12.
So roughly about 25 times out of 1,000 you'd get an injury.

I believe the percentage is 4.8% of rolling a 12. It is a 1 in 21 probability. The percentage of rolling an 11-12 is 9.5%. A 2 in 21 probability.

Not to sounds like a teacher, but I can abide incorrect statistics The chances of rolling a 12 are 1 in 36(there are 36 possible rolls with 2 six sided dice, and only 1, 6 and 6, yield a 12) which is 2.8% The chances of rolling an 11 or 12 are 3 in 36, which is 8.33333%. To figure out the probability of both happening, you multiply those together, which comes out to .2%... or about 2 in 1000 (3 in 1296 to be exact)
