Are there any GWF wrestlers who were forced into early retirement due to a career ending injury?
I assume that medical technology in the GWF universe is advanced to the point where any injury could be healed. So I was wondering if any wrestler suffered an injury so severe that even the medical technology of the future could not heal them.
I have only played up to the debut of Chaos then jumped to the New Beginning set, so I do not have all the handbooks. Any help would be appreciated.

Crossfire, and theoretically Dreadnaught, died in the ring. Career ending enough?

Off the top of my head, I can only think of Sectarian for sure. I think Vertigo had it happen as well, but I may be wrong.

Didn't Chopper Mattocks also suffer a career-ending injury?

No, he continued on with Hammer in the Stormtroopers. Vertigos career was cut short. Probably there should be a few career ending injuries. Tom hasn't explored that much. Imagine a top guy who suddenly has to retire, like HBK in 1998.

No, he continued on with Hammer in the Stormtroopers. Where, in the CPC, he suffered a career-ending injury.

Yeah, Chopper Mattock/Powerhouse pulled a Buff Bagwell out of the turnbuckle, but not with the same outcome as with Buff.
I see what you mean about medical technology being theoretically advanced that far in the future, which is why I try not to rely on it too often, but part of me kinda sorta hopes doctors can't ever come so close to playing God that they can do virtually anything.

Darn it Jim, I'm a doctor not a miracle worker! (Sorry couldn't help myself. )

Blazing Skull has a mechanic on his card where if a certain number is rolled, he ends his opponent's career with his finisher (I can't remember the name of the finisher though). I believe this card was in one of the Bash sets.

Jammer had a career ending injury in 2084, albeit it had haunted him awhile before that.
