Mad Jester becoming Defender of the Realm was pretty weird. At least there was some attempted damage control on that down the line.

This got me thinking...maybe we should run a contest on either the discussion board or through the Promoter, for rewriting the ending to the Alpha Stone story.

Man, I think I'm the only one who was a Khety fan--I think he came out at a time when I was way into Egyptian history and mythology. I remember being disappointed that his card stunk so badly.
"DragonMaster murdered me in a past life" was a rather flimsy excuse for a feud, admittedly.
When I had time to run a GWFZ fed I had trouble getting anything done with Hegemony--so I made him "self-aware" (for the comic geeks out there, think She-Hulk). When he lost, he blamed it on bad die rolls, and made cryptic comments during interviews about his "stats" and trash-talked about his opponent's finisher ratings, to the total confusion of the interviewers and viewing audience. Cute idea but it didn't really work, either.

I am the only one who liked Sectarian? I thought he had a decent card!
Anyway in my fed ... I had Star Warrior knock his father off the ropes and medics said he died only for a couple months later Omega returned and turned heel on Star Warrior. He joined forces with Thantos, Chaos though came in shortly afterward and Star Warrior joined with Thantos.
Meteor Shower and the original Pollux are definetly canidates here, pin using ropes only lol!

Huge mythology buff (Neil Gaman's American Gods is one of my all time favorite books) and I also loved the idea. But the character was a little lame and the feud idea was so forced...mainly because of the Team Feud thing. That sounds awesome actually. Breaking the 4th wall type character? Verrry cool. Woulda been fun to read results.

That's a great idea Tournament Master about re-writing the Alpha Stone ending. I was at work and was daydreaming about how maybe certain storylines and characters could be changed now that GWF is Online. At first I thought 'why not?' The only problem could be the knock on effect, which would mean that 1 change in one set could mean having to adjust all future sets. Back to official entries, I have to say Sectarian too. I wonder how many people used him seriously in their feds?
