Of course, dice can do some crazy things... Statistically, are these guys (on average) closer to Steve Corino or SD Jones? (Not that I'm sure there's a difference, as Corino has lost to Jones every time I've had that match, I think...but again, dice do crazy things). The top guys will be around Corino... guys like Castgnoli and Delirious maybe a bit higher. Most will be between Corino and SD Jones really. They were made to play with the Legends and the Legends team looked them over for that very reason. I think (hope) people will be pleased with the outcome

This all sounds good to me. I look forward to evaluating/critiquing you work, Knapik. I am sure you did great though.

Hmmm... I always though Corino was way underpowered in the game. This gives me a bit of pause, but I have faith in you guys.

Knapik may agree, but I think Indy stars get a bad rap. We make the assumption they aren't as good as the Race or Bocks, but the wrestling business is totally different now. (well, Race and Bock could be bad examples, how about Snuka/Iron Sheik/Brazil, guys like that)
But since there is only one fed now, it's just hard to judge how "good" "indy" talent is. Just because they aren't in the "E", doesn't mean they aren't a good wrestler.

The WWE makes it very hard for a regional promotion to get national attention, but that doesn't mean the talent isn't there. Unfortunately, people don't take the time to look for the 'good' wrestling. I'm a big WWE fan, but for those of you who are missing out on The Briscoes, Bryan Danielson, Castagnoli, Hero, etc... get with the program I hope people like the set even if they're unfamiliar with the current wrestling scene.

I will agree with this as well but we do have to remember that the LOW game has to reflect each wrestler not only how "good" they are but also by their impact on the business or their perceived greatness. Now I would agree that the Briscoes are one of the top tag teams in the business today but not everyone knows who they are. Chances are they will remain somewhat under the radar for their entire careers which will always put them behind a team that is getting national exposure for wrestling for WWE even if they are only there for a limited amount of time.

Well I don't know if I can agree with that 100%, especially given the landscape of today's wrestling world. How many people know who Hiroshi Tanahashi is?

I know who he is I never really agreed with the whole "impact on the business" thing. Take someone like DDP. Multi-time World and US Champion. One of WCW's only home brewed break out stars. Had a level of crossover with the mainstream (granted during one of wrestlings biggest hot periods). Had wins over Hogan, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, and others. How does his card stack up? I would argue that he's a bit weak, he's had a hard time digging himself out of the bottom card for me. But then I've had him get the occasional upset, recently he pinned Race. All depends on how you look at it, I just don't think Bockwinkel or Race should automatically be better than multiple time world champions from other eras just because of the era they wrestled in.

I've recently attended a few "Indy" events & while it may not be as "flashy" as what we see on TV every week, you can't beat sitting a mere few feet from the action and watching these guys pay their dues in the hopes of one day being on TV. Appearing in the new set will be a very big deal to these guys & they deserve our attention. I'm lucky enough to have not 1, but 2 promotions fairly local to me, so I get to check out at least 1 show every couple of months. In fact, Victory Pro Wrestling holds their shows at the VFW hall 5 minutes from my house. I will be going to see an FTW show this Saturday night that Sabu, Jake Roberts & Homicide will be appearing at & will be sitting in the front row, for eighteen bucks. I know eighteen bucks would barely cover parking for a WWE event. I urge everyone to check out an Indy show & then tell me you wouldn't buy the upcoming set or use these guys in your feds.
