I love watching matches on YouTube that I'm going to play in my fed, helps build up tension. I can watch YouTube on my TV (just got it set up that way) and it's great. I watched a lot of RVD vs. Jerry Lynn tonight. I also like watching promos because they help me imagine them in my head for upcoming events.
Played one match for far on my Super Bowl card (it's such a huge event I want to savor it slowly) and Nigel McGuinness picked up a big win over Sabu!

Reminds me of the days when I would wait for a magazine release so I can read full results from the different territories. In this case, anxiously awaiting the results from the first DMP Supercard.

Card 100 - Super Bowl of Wrestling
Andre the Giant defeated Ivan Koloff in a Russian Chain Match following the BIG SPLASH! This was one of the biggest matches in DMP history as Ivan Koloff was the first man to defeat Andre and to make matters worse he brutally injured Andre in a Chain Match forcing the 8th wonder of the world to take months off to heal. Andre mainly controlled this match but Ivan made it close. The fans went wild when Andre won! (4.5 star match)
The Road Warriors beat the Sheepherders in a match were Paul Ellering was handcuffed to Sir Oliver Humperdink. This was a hard-fought contest with Animal finally finishing off Luke. The Sheepherders made a solid run at the tag belts.
Johnny Valentine beat Lou Thesz for the second straight time, this time in a Ladder Match where Valentine grabbed the NWA World Belt suspended from a wire. Thesz remains the NWA Champion as the title was never on the line, but Valentine doesn't care and is keeping the belt. Thesz entered DMP as a temporary replacement for Andre the Giant and now that Andre has returned it's likely that Thesz will be leaving although some are wondering if he'll ask Valentine for another rematch.
Mike DiBiase thrilled the crowd by beating his son Ted DiBiase with the TOP ROPE KNEE DROP in a Loser Leaves Town Match! With Ted gone and what happened to the Iron Sheik (see below) it looks like the Million Dollar Corporation has suddenly imploded. (5.0 star match)
The Sheik beat the Iron Sheik with a FIREBALL in an incredible match that featured everything including interference (to no avail) by Nikolai Volkoff. The Iron Sheik was taken away on a stretcher, the second man (Gorgeous George being the other) injured in recent weeks in the Sheik's reign of terror! The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff had been #1 contenders for the tag belts but now this is up in the air, especially with their team leader Ted DiBiase forced to leave DMP.

Rob Van Dam beat Jerry Lynn in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to get revenge for losing on the last card.
Don Muraco and Mister Fuji won over Jimmy Snuka and Brutus Beefcake when Muraco finished Brutus with the HAWAIIAN HAMMER.
Frank Gotch won by DQ over Harley Race when Race decked Gotch with brass knuckles. This feud is still hot!
Cowboy Dick Hutton scored an upset by beating the popular Bobo Brazil with help from Johnny Valentine.
Hillbilly Jim and Little Beaver beat One Man Gang and Sky Low Low when Little Beaver pinned Sky Low Low after BOOMERANG. The fans loved it but One Man Gang spoiled the party by tossing Jim out of the ring after the match and then delivering a big splash to Beaver! The popular midget star had to be removed on a stretcher.
Val Venis and Nora Greenwald beat Rick Rude and Sherri Martel when Nora pinned Sherri. Rude and Sherri were winning most of the match but Captain Lou Albano's team made a comeback to win!
Nigel McGuinness used LONDON DUNGEON to beat Sabu.
THIS CARD SURPASSED MY HIGH HOPES AND EXPECTATIONS AND IS ONE OF THE GREATEST CARDS IN THE HISTORY OF MY FED...IF NOT THE BEST EVER!

Super Bowl fall-out, TV tapings:
Rumor has it Lou Thesz will quietly leave DMP without demanding his belt be returned. He doesn't want to draw any further attention to his two losses to Valentine and can have another belt made when he returns to his NWA stomping grounds.
Bob Finnigan asked Ivan Koloff about the future of the Million Dollar Corporation and Koloff said he doesn't care. "Harley Race asked me to join the Gang of Four and I'm going to do it." After Race and Valentine, the remaining member of the Gang of Four is Masked Superstar II as the original Masked Superstar is apparently taking some time off.
After a match at a TV taping Diamond Dallas Page told ring announcer Chuck Allen that he's ticked that Paul Ellering gives "everybody in the Legion of Doom a big push except me, the biggest star and biggest draw of the group." Asked if he was pleased with the huge victory by his teammate Mike DiBiase over Ted DiBiase, Page shrugged his shoulders and muttered, "Whatever....there may be an opportunity there." When asked to elaborate he simply performed his DIAMOND CUTTER gesture, this time to a smattering of boos from the fans, and departed.
Hillbilly Jim told an interviewer that he's going to make One Man Gang pay for injuring his "little buddy," Little Beaver.
Johnny Valentine is currently the #1 contender for the Heavyweight Belt and says he wants to "add a second major belt to my collection," referring once again to the NWA Belt he stole from Lou Thesz. When told DMP World Champion Jimmy Snuka replied simply, "Bring it on, brotha."
