Finally back in action!
Card 101 from Grand Olympic Auditorium:
Andre the Giant beat Ivan Koloff in a thrilling Last Man Standing Match. Koloff stayed down for the ten count after Andre's sit down splash!
Frank Gotch won over Harley Race in a Texas Death Match when Gotch smashed Race on the knees with a crowbar then finished him with the GOTCH TOEHOLD. Gotch is becoming a controversial face and the enforcer for the Legends team.
RVD beat Jerry Lynn in an exciting Table Match.
The Sheepherders beat the returning Orton Boys but Sir Oliver pretended to congratulate them after the victory and then smashed them from behind with his cane! Then the Ortons attacked Butch and Luke and beat them senseless then branded them! The fans booed as Sir Oliver departed with the Ortons.
One Man Gang won by count out over Hillbilly Jim due to distractions by Sky Low Low.
Don Muraco and Mr. Fuji won easily over S. D. Jones and Cousin Luke.
Mike DiBiase defeated Mr. X to the delight of the fans following his big victory over Ted DiBiase at the Super Bowl of Wrestling.

TV TAPINGS:
Johnny Valentine is incensed that DMP does not recognize the NWA Belt he feels he won. Valentine is the #1 contender for the World Title held by Snuka.
During an interview with Chuck Allen, Jimmy Snuka interrupted and said he was tired of hearing Valentine "crying about the NWA Belt" and challenged him to put the NWA Belt on the line in their title bout making it a belt vs. belt match. Valentine agreed, upping the ante in their upcoming title bout. The top brass of the DMP followed by releasing an official statement reminding fans that Snuka and Valentine can say and do whatever they want but DMP does NOT recognize the NWA Belt nor Valentine as the NWA Champion.
Sir Oliver did an interview with Lord Layton to the loud boos from fans in attendance. He introduced his new team which he calls "Sir Oliver's Outlaw Ranch." The three team members appeared with him: Bob Orton Sr, Bob Orton Jr. and Cowboy Dick Hutton. Sir Oliver vowed to win the tag belts from the Road Warriors and to continue "branding" opponents in the process.
Meanwhile Diamond Dallas Page is promising a major announcement on the next big card (102) coming to Cobo Hall.

Grant: I really enjoy imagining the TV tapings which take place in the cramped places they used to do those TV shows in the old days.
Ken: Thanks and I love the Sly Drury banner. It's now my screen saver.

Grant: I really enjoy imagining the TV tapings which take place in the cramped places they used to do those TV shows in the old days. That's how mine is. Though I imagine they have a ring in the studio just in case things get too heated.
