My "TV tapings" are one hour shows broadcast once a week. They feature matches and interviews. The matches are squash matches pitting Rick Rude against Joe Schlabotnik and guys like that (including of course Mister X). The interviews take place before and after the matches and sometimes unexpected run-ins and stuff take place to set up the next major show.
This all takes place in my head before I fall asleep at night. Last night I fell asleep during an interview featuring Bobo Brazil and Andre the Giant who are teaming up on my next card. I think I had trouble understanding Andre and my mind turned off.

TV TAPINGS:
At a recent TV taping in Detroit Sir Oliver's new team made an impact. He was interviewed by Mike Finnigan and released a video of his new team, Outlaw Ranch, on location at a huge ranch in Texas that Sir Oliver says cost him over a million dollars. The footage shows the Ortons and Dick Hutton doing things like lifting weights outdoors in the spacious yard, bull riding, doing push-ups in a barn, and heating their branding irons. Sir Oliver is predicting that his team will take over DMP beginning with the Orton Boys taking the tag belts from the Road Warriors.
Later on the show Paul Ellering was interviewed by Chuck Allen. He said the Road Warriors are not afraid of Outlaw Ranch and told the Orton Boys to "Bring it on!" Suddenly DDP appeared and yet again voiced his disappointment that Ellering hasn't given him a bigger push saying "I'm the biggest shiniest star on the team." He criticized Ellering for pushing a "has-been" like Mike DiBiase which caused the fans in attendance to boo him. DDP yelled at the fans, insulting their intelligence. Ellering told DDP that he's getting "too full of himself" and if he doesn't like it to leave the team adding, "Mike DiBiase got his spoiled son kicked out of DMP and destroyed the Million Dollar Corporation and what have you done?" DDP said he might just do something "that'll make the Million Dollar Corporation look like it was a tiny mom and pop store" and stomped off.

Good story Tom, anxious to see DDP's big news. Laughing at the Outlaw Ranch concept as all I am thinking of is those goofy Memphis videos from the early 80s!

My four main alternating arenas are Cobo Hall, Cleveland Arena, Akron Armory, and Grand Olympic Auditorium with a few random appearances at other places. But I like Detroit's Cobo Hall the best, the home of the best wrestling when I was growing up.

Card 102 from Cobo Hall:
Jimmy Snuka won by DQ over Johnny Valentine in a controversial decision. Snuka grabbed Valentine's NWA Belt but Valentine took it away and smashed Snuka on the head with it! Valentine was disqualified. He proceeded to knock out the referee and continued brawling with Snuka until they were broken up by ring attendants.
Andre the Giant and Bobo Brazil defeated Ivan Koloff and Masked Superstar II when Bobo Brazil pinned Masked Superstar II after a COCO BUTT.
Harley Race beat Frank Gotch in a Lumberjack Match with the help of Masked Superstar II.
Rob Van Dam used the FOUR STAR FROG SPLASH to beat Sabu in an exciting Singapore Cane Match.
Hillbilly Jim won over One Man Gang in an Over-the-Top-Rope Match. Little Beaver got a measure of revenge by performing some leg drops on OMG outside the ring after he was tossed out!
Rick Rude won by DQ over Val Venis when Nora interfered after the RUDE AWAKENING. Sheri Martel decked Nora and then Rude spanked her then posed standing over her.
Diamond Dallas Page made his second surprise announcement of the evening by bringing in Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig as his tag partner. They defeated S.D. Jones and Koko B. Ware when Hennig pinned Jones.
Diamond Dallas Page announced that the mystery opponent for Mr. X would be Larry "the Axe" Hennig. Hennig used THE AXE for the victory.

TV TAPINGS:
Diamond Dallas Page came out for an interview with Chuck Allen along with Curt Hennig and Larry Hennig. He announced he was forming a team called the Diamond Exchange and his goal was to win the tag belts. He was interrupted by Sir Oliver Humperdink who told him he'd have to go through the Orton Boys first because that was their goal too.
Page said his tag-team with Curt Hennig is called Perfect Diamonds.
Johnny Valentine is incensed that he was disqualified against Jimmy Snuka when he claims Snuka grabbed the NWA Belt first and tried to hit him with it. He says in self-defense he grabbed the belt from Snuka and used it first.
Captain Lou Albano was interviewed by Lord Layton and said it's too bad, the decision stands. He's not going to grant another title shot to Valentine unless the commissioner makes him.
