I know this was covered elsewhere and I don't know if it has been answered (so as I tell my kids why ask again) BUT will the strength level of the CHIKARA set but on the same level as previous LOtF sets or will it be based on their CHIKARA success?? Thanx if this has already been answered.

I think the obvious question that everybody will be wanting to know is "Will they be 100% compatible with the cards that we already have or will they be more of a standalone set?" I hope they fit right in with the massive amount of cards we already have. I'd bet they will be 100% compatible with all the cards that we already have in the LOW/LOTF universe. As long as they fit right in with existing LOW/LOTF cards, I'm in. Fans can expect the cards to fit in with the existing LOW/LOTF cards. Honestly, the deal is they'll be both. Quack gave us a hierarchy list from 1-24. Some guys are close together (like the top 3 for example) while clearly being stronger than some of the bottom, while others are totally unique and like no one else (Archibald Peck is a good example). There's a clear pecking order, but don't expect the set to look much like the LOTF stuff you've seen before. There's a card with a +4 finisher, a guy with - 5 agility and so on...We've made sure this set works perfectly whether you want to play it as a stand alone, or miz 'em up with the rest of your LOW/LOTF guys. There's even been talk of an optional conversion chart of sorts for when CHIKARA talent (LOTF talent too) travel outside of the fed. This would be added to an updated LOW rules book sooner than later. You have my word, regardless of which side of this fence you are on, you'll be happy!

Thanx for the info. Either way June isn't so far away. Dude, I got the color proofs today from the printer. Wait until you guys see some of the amazing new colors we're using. They're so killer! Frightmare in orange! Pinkie Sanchez - in pink! I've already said too much. They're really incredible. Soooo pumped up for the release!

The degree of direct involvement from the subject talent is what really makes this set standout for me personally. When not only the wrestlers on the roster are providing direct feedback on their card design, but Mike Quackenbush (the trainer and founder of CHIKARA) is investing his time to give expert input on how he grades the very talent he's booking, its a very unique element to capture in game form. When it all comes together, I'm sure the finished product will be one for the ages. Major props to everyone involved in making this set a reality!

I like the idea of a conversion chart; I just wish we could get it with the set itself. I also wonder if it's possible to use it in reverse, to convert LOTF wrestlers to LOW status.

Why would a conversion chart be needed? They're all using the same rules after all. a conversion chart is apparently needed because the Chikara set is reportedly a stand alone set in which the Chikara wrestlers have enhanced stats that are otherwise not compatible when measured against the other real life wrestlers in the standard LOTF sets I personally think it makes alot of sense for Filsinger Games in making this a stand alone set (and the Chikara cards look absolutely incredible and I really admire the hard work Rob has devoted to this project!) But I would really like a good conversion chart as soon as possible so I can add these new and/or updated wrestlers to my LOTF fed Vegas Wrestling Guerrrila (VWG.)
