We're all by now sort of used to the tragic news of a wrestler passing before their time as it seems to happen so often these days...
But this one really bums me out big time. Savage was always a favorite of mine. His look, his voice, his style, his managers, his feuds, his gimmicks - just always seemed to work.
One of the greatest of all time for sure.
RIP Randy from Florida.

I am still in just shock.... I was 12 when I jumped off the furnace onto my best friend with a flying elbow drop. That was the day we learn about the pain of pro wrestling, and that the Macho Man was what he claimed to me.

He was my favorite wrestler when I was younger. He will be missed.

I echo a lot of the comments. He truly was one of my all time favs. Condolences to his family.

Very sad news. Good to hear it was a heart attack instead of the usual drug/murder/steroid. But still a loss is a loss and this is a big loss. RIP Macho man we all loved you. I hate to be the one to say it but we really need an official LOW cord to honor this wrestling ICON.

RIP Randy Savage, a True Legend of Wrestling...
Looking back, Macho Man will always be one of two key WWF Superstars and the other is Hulk Hogan...

Just read about it this minute on Yahoo and am numb. I second the motion for an official card.

The guy I work with thought that Randy was going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year because he was doing ads for the All-Star video game and WWE had released his figure. When it didn't happen, I told him maybe next year. It would be great if it could happen. It would be greater if he and Miss Elizabeth could go in together like the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering, but I don't see that happening.
Anyway, tonight, at that big wrestling arena in the sky, Miss Elizabeth will be leading Macho man to the ring for his first match. It came too soon.
RIP Macho Man

I had the privilege of seeing Randy Savage at the Mid-South Coliseum during some of his epic feuds with Jerry Lawler, Austin Idol and Bill Dundee in the early '80s. He was a true great.
RIP
