I just went to Frightmare's Facebook site, since he's one of my two favorites in Chikara. How does a guy who doesn't talk get over 1600 friends?

With cards in hand. How will they fare against the other LOTF guys? Are they a little overpowered or about right?

With cards in hand. How will they fare against the other LOTF guys? Well, with the cards from the new CHIKARA set, I am currently doing my Kings of Trios tournament which for me is a 3 day tournament and has 24 trios teams-8 teams composed of the new 24 CHIKARA cards and the other 16 teams from a combination of LOW and other LOTF cards. Day One pitted the 16 outside trios teams against each other and Day Two had 8 matches with each match pitting a CHIKARA team (who had received a home field advantage First Round bye from Day One) against one of the surviving 8 outside trios teams who won on Day One. the CHIKARA trios teams won 4 of those matches and the outside trios teams won the other 4 matches: filsingergames.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fed2&action=display&thread=6642&page=1

Love the King of Trios so far Mr. Vegas. Out of curiosity, are you using the Lucha Out of the Ring and Pin ave charts that came with the Chikara game when doing these trios matches?

Oh, so there are some charts to make the set different? Are they vastly different than what was on Bryce's referee card?

Oh, so there are some charts to make the set different? Are they vastly different than what was on Bryce's referee card? Yes, very different. There are Lucha Out of the Ring and Pinsave charts. The options change depending on how many participants are in the match. I think it gives it a more realistic style for a lucha tag...especially the out of the ring chart. The Bryce Rules are modified slightly and are in the handbook.

Do those charts come with the set if you only order the cards?

Do those charts come with the set if you only order the cards? yeah, they are in the back of the book. I made a copy of mine and put them in a plastic sleeve.

Nice.
I'm having a battle with my checkbook as to whether I am going to order this set or not. I love Chikara, and of course, Filsinger. But money is a bit tight and it looks like over half the cards are redos. Not that I'm totally against redos, but it's something to think about. Still, the non redos are characters I really want. These Lucha tables are a a check in the for column.
Also, I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't really care for the color art.
