I'd like to hear something from anyone who has the set as to their thoughts on all the stats. Do you see any of the card being statted differently if they were released with a LOTF set? I know the cards are said to be compatible with all other LOW/LOTF cards, but to me this is a Chikara set and the stats were done as to that wrestler's spot on the roster, so I would think some of these guys would be slightly better or slightly worse stat wise if not in a Chikara set. I'd think the Colt Cabana card would be a good example of this. He's not in Chikara very much but I'd say is a pretty good name on the indy scene.

I love the Dark Menace manager card... I may bring in Lord Nexus, Bloodline, and one other guy with colored art as the COTG Trios team or something.

Just got my set in the mail today and it is OUTSTANDING!!! The card art is amazing, and the quality of the cards themselves are great. The cards are very sturdy and will hold up much better than some of the LoW cards. I have yet to play a game yet, so I'll give my thoughts on that later, but as for right now I am extremely pleased with this purchase.
My only gripe is with the Limited Edition Delirious. The card is exactly the same as the BDK card just with green accents instead of white. Now, I will obviously use the green card when Delirious breaks out of the spell of "The Eye of Tyr" and Ares, just wished some of the moves on the back would have been different.
Filsinger Games has outdone themselves again (as they do with every release) and I can't wait to get my CHIKARA fed rolling. I hope the turnaround on the next set isn't too far away, because I can already feel the flow of the 3.0... BOOYAH!

Delirious' move's haven't change since he joined the BDK! He just acts a little less hyper while he's under the control of Ares, so the movesets should be the same!

Mine arrived today as well. Thumbs up to everyone at FG and CHIKARA for making this set a reality. I won't be rolling my first show for few days but I will definitely try out the cards. The artwork is amazing and the handbook is great, especially the special charts. Well worth the wait

That's true, I dunno, I guess I expected a little more of a difference in the two cards. Gripe was a wrong choice of words, but I'm very ecstatic with the whole set! Great Job FG!

I'd think the Colt Cabana card would be a good example of this. He's not in Chikara very much but I'd say is a pretty good name on the indy scene. The cards are definitely compatible with all the other LOW/LOTF cards, but you are correct, this is a Chikara set and the stats definitely reflect the wrestler's spot on the roster, which is what makes the entire set unique. For example, Mike Quackenbush's Chikara card is an absolute beast compared to his "regular" LOTF card, and without spoiling it for those who haven't received their sets, there's a card for he-who-shall-not-be-named with a -5 agility rating! If this was say, a Ring Of Honor set (hint, hint , I'm quite sure Eddie Edwards would have a card with championship-caliber stats, unlike his "regular" LOTF card, which doesn't reflect his current status as a recent TV/World champion in ROH. It all depends on how you, the promoter, choose to use the cards, which is what makes this such a great game. Personally, I do plan to "mix" some of the Chikara cards for those wrestlers without "regular" cards (Hallowicked, Gargano, etc.) into my existing UltraMega fed, but I'm going to continue to use the "regular" cards for the wrestlers that have already been established in UltraMega, like Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Taylor. Of course, I will run a seperate Chikara fed, using only the Chikara set, save for the Bryce Remsburg LOTF card. Again, it's entirely up to you how to use the cards. I will say this however, to be a fan of Legends Of Wrestling OR Legends Of The Future and not purchase this set would be a sin! The cards look outstanding! The artwork is top notch on all of the cards, they literally look ready to jump right out at you! The new charts promise to add yet another dimension to an already excellent game, as well! Well worth the wait & the price, and a partnership with Chikara opens up a whole world of possibilities, like, dare I say, a Ring Of Honor set? If this set is an indicator of the future of Filsinger Games, the future's looking mighty, mighty bright!
