I play out my matches using the cards, then input the results online. It makes it far easier to keep track of records and to format the shows to share them on message boards using the online stat tracker stuff, but using the "real" cards for gameplay is a more enjoyable and engaging experience for me compared to staring at a screen and clicking a mouse.

I don't want to add any more workload to anyone, but I still would like a dedicated iOS app. Seems like it would be easier to create a separate user interface thats works with the touch features than try and make something that "might kind of" work with everything. Now having said that, I know NOTHING about programming and BDS might have a magic rabbit in his hat that he's going to pull out that will blow us away. No pressure, BDS, no pressure

IF I could play on my iPhone, I would probably be more interested in Online. I own several online sets (2119-2123) but I almost never play online. We need a COTG iOS app. Or a platform-agnostic web interface that would allow you to do everything, no matter if you were on a smartphone or a desktop. Just sayin'. This would make me very happy.

No pressure, BDS, no pressure The degree of difficulty involved in writing a dedicated app as opposed to a platform independent web app is markedly higher, to say nothing of the time investment required. Trust me - you'll be happy with the end result. I'm writing it to make ME happy, so it's gotta be good!

It's a great option to have Cardstock & Online, for me though I love Cardstock and it's the best way to play for me...

I tend to play more matches and cards when I use Online, and I love the portability of Online, but I really like to collect the cards just to have them. And as Avarice pointed out, if you ever meet up with other promoters and want to play the game, cards are the way to go. The color cards are fantastic and will always continue to order them.

Although I have both...I will have to say that I like playing the cardstock a lot better! I still layout my cards on the floor in front on the television and lay on my stomach to play like I did close to 23 years ago...
However, to keep paperwork done- i use the online stat tracker to keep track of my house shows, Xplosions, and my PaPer Views...plus, the ranking system is kinda kewl to see where everyone stands.
Occasionally when I have down time at class, I will boot up cotgonline and play a few random matches...but hardly ever use the game table besides that.
