The inaugural broadcast of POWER SHIFT witnessed a pyrotechnics display like no other! The FTR's newest show promised the opening of the FTR Tag Championship Tournament and many fans have expressed that the championships were a long time coming. Will be interesting to see what other changes the new Commissioner has in store.

FTR Tag Team Championship Tournament Match:
Mayham & Chameleon made quick work of Abandonment Issues, after Mayham used a Baby Back Rib Breaker on Swerve
MATCH NOTES: Mayham & Chameleon manhandled the Abandonment Issues duo and would move on to the second round after a baby back Rib Breaker on Swerve that garnered the three count. (* 1/2)

Stallion[DEBUT] easily put away Plethador via. LUCKY HORSESHOE
MATCH NOTES: The Pegasus native debut was a successful one as he thrilled ringside fans with his high impact moves and put the amphibian down with a series of LUCKY HORSESHOE finishers for the duke. (** 1/2)

Sonny Rocket stunned Quest with a ROCKET LAUNCHER
MATCH NOTES: The arena's lights faded and two spotlights shined in the center of the entrance ramp. "Turn Up The Trouble" blasted through the sound system and a frail looking individual with a blonde mullet emerged from the locker room area.

He stood in the center of the spotlighted area and held his hand up in the air toward the ceiling. Unexpectedly, an old school microphone spiraled down toward him until he grasped the device in his hands. He took an deep breath and held the microphone to his mouth.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to reveal to you the man that will single handedly change FTR as you know it! He weighs in at 197 pounds and hails from the star system of Orion....Miiiiiiiiiisssssssttttteeeerrrrrrr Roooccckkkkeeettt...Rocket!!!"

As Sonny (and his manager, Johnny) made his way to ringside, the fans really let him know what they thought about him and the Orion native needed security to get him to the ring.

The match was shocking as Johnny seems to have added a level of confidence to Sonny that was definitely apparent in this contest. Sonny controlled the bout in it's entirety and put away Quest easily with a ROCKET LAUNCHER. (** 1/2)

FTR Tag Team Championship Tournament Match

From the Depths lost to The Natives, after Ragnar Blackheart was disqualified against Krud

MATCH NOTES: The action was back and forth for several minutes with both teams not being able to gain the upper-hand. Ragnar Blackheart became frustrated and would toss Krud into the steel steps on the arena floor. Ragnar followed up with a Brymstone Suplex on said stairs! The referee called for the bell and would award the Natives the victory as a result of a disqualification. (3/4 *)

FTR Championship Title Match
Honey won against Crossbones with I DON'T CARE submission.
MATCH NOTES: A tense match! Honey started with a flurry of moves but Crossbones was able to turn the tide. The Brymstonian used Guns Blazing and two BLACK SAILS but the aniwoman was able to kick out of the pin attempt. Suddenly, several fans jumped over the rails and climbed into the ring! The referee attempted to clear the squared circle but wasn't having much success. Meanwhile, Pardon slide out from underneath the ring and enters the squared circle...he uses a FUTURE ENDEAVORS maneuver on Crossbones, and slithers out of the ringside area.

The fans were finally brought down by security and the referee manages to turn his attention back to the match. Honey regains her senses and locked on I DON'T CARE on the unconscious Brymstonian. The now former champion was unresponsive and the referee called for the bell! the FTR has a new champion!!! (*** 1/2)
