03.19.2125 - Iron Hand is here-Iron Hand came to the ring, flanked by four of what appeared to be a robotic versions of GWF Security. He stepped over the top rope, straightened his coat and adjusted his tie before addressing the audience.
IRON HAND: "Sly Drury was a sufficient leader of my Martial Law team, but as a commissioner I find him sorely lacking. In my absence, for which I left him in charge, the GWF has descended into madness! The commissioner himself even stooped as low as to perpetrate an underhanded post-match attack on Hector The Holy Brown Bear. This is why I say 'no more'! I am once again placing myself in charge of the GWF and all will answer to me until I deem things set right once again, at which point I will gladly name my replacement and retire to my other ventures."
"And with that said, I would like to get on to business as usual and introduce the NEW GWF champion, PAGANAX. Endgame was for the most part a worthy employee during my previous tenure, a very law-abiding and orderly man. Paganax I hope you will follow in the same way."
Paganax stomps to the ring wearing the GWF title belt, his Rogue's Gallery following behind.PAGANAX: "I will humor you because it's what Sly Drury has asked me to do until this matter can be settled, but I answer not to you nor anyone else! I am a leader and a conqueror. A fact Endgame learned at Superclash. What is the end goal for most wrestlers in the GWF, this championship belt, is merely the first step for Paganax! My destiny is something much bigger than any of you can imagine."
IRON HAND: "Be that as it may, it is my duty to make the title matches in the GWF. Had it not been for the attack ordered by Aethran Overmaster on Endgame that resulted in his injury going into Superclash, he would indeed have been in line for a title match. However, in light of those events, I have decided that your first title defense.......will be announced on the next show. I bid you all good night."
The bizarre iron man/machine/robot made his stately exit and took his robot guard with him as Paganax stomped around the ring with his team of wild thugs. Nosfera tossed over a ringside table for effect, Bishop sent fire streaming into the air, and Coven Black just hung out in the ring casting leering looks at the women in the crowd. Finally they apparently decided they'd made enough of a spectacle and Paganax led them away.Phantasy vs.
StrafePhantasy defeated Strafe with a Diva Press Slam
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: Strafe dominated the match until she missed an attempted top rope bodypress. Phantasy roared back and unleashed several big moves for near falls before sealing the win with a Diva Slam.
As Phantasy made her way back down the aisle after the match, from out of the shadows, COVEN BLACK suddenly appeared. He smiled at her, showing just a hint of fang, before producing a card (about the size of an average business card) from inside of his jacket. He whispered something in Phantasy's ear (as he had done previously to She Devil after a match several weeks ago) and handed her the card. If you were the omniscient storyteller you'd be able to read what was written. However, as the reader you'll just have to take my word for it that there was indeed a very interesting symbol on one side and an even more interesting invitation on the other.
Phantasy stared at the note as Coven stared at her. She tucked the card into the front of her top and walked away with a hint of a mischievous grin on her face. Coven sunk back into the shadows from whence he came and the show continued as scheduled.- Sly Drury tries to get to the bottom of things-Sly Drury was seen in his office, sitting behind his desk with Patch standing on the opposite side. They were watching a monitor of the action in the ring. Patch looked puzzled as he witnessed Coven Black and his interactions with Phantasy in the arena.
PATCH: "What's that all about?"
SLY: "Who knows? I hired Coven Black, but I haven't got a clue what goes on in that guy's head. It seems like I don't know ANYTHING that's happening around here anymore! Hold on, I've got Spartacus Hand on the line right now."
Greetings were exchanged and Sly listened closely as Spartacus spoke.SLY: "I know what you're telling me, but I know what I'm seeing. I activated him one last time to fight Swarm like we agreed, then he went rogue. He disappeared from the back and the next time I saw him he was pulling me and Patch off of Hector and talking like he was in charge!(Pause while Spartacus speaks) Okay, so the thing is only supposed to respond to MY brainwaves, so no one should be able to activate it but me. Could someone have built another one? Maybe it's not really him. (Pause again) No,no,no, I don't think anyone else could recreate anything as sophisticated as yours. Of course not, I'm just trying to make sense of this! (another pause as Spartacus speaks) IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? No, it can't be....."
Sly spotted something on the far side of the room. He looked straight into the camera.SLY: "Crap, he's put the spy cameras everywhere in the building like I did when I was....him...or Iron Hand....or whatever! PATCH, take care of that! This is private!"
Patch walked over to the camera and grabbed it. Static. Picture lost. End of transmission.Retribution vs.
NosferaRetribution defeated Nosfera with a Retribution High Hammerlock
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: Retribution seemed to have it won with GROUNDING THE DEMON when Omen got involved. Retribution chased him out of the ring, but Nosfera recovered and followed him to attack on the floor. Nosfera got the best of the exchange, but Retribution came right back when the action returned to the ring and locked in the High Hammerlock for the win.
Plethador vs.
ParalyzeParalyze defeated Plethador with a PERMANENTLY PARALYZED
Match Rating: 0.10
Match Notes: Paralyze hit the ring running and went to the Decapitator right away. He tossed Plethador out of the ring, then brought him back in the hard way, pulling him in over the top rope and hitting a Death Valley Driver. From there it was the most feared finisher in the GWF, PERMANENTLY PARALYZED for the decisive win.
After the decision Paralyze grabbed his Rylock Rod from ringside and stood in the middle of the ring to make a challenge.PARALYZE: "Anivar, you may think you won at Superclash, but all you and your groupies managed to do was make me angry! See this Rylock Rod in my hand? I am it's master, and soon I will be your master as well! I challenge you to meet me in a match where my weapon of choice is legal, a Rylock Rod match, and let me put an end to your miserable career!"
As soon as Paralyze was safely in the back where he could do no public damage, Sultana led Thantos to the ring. Thantos took the mic before the match and spoke.THANTOS: "I guess my 'son' is off getting ready to play with his brother on Cetus, so I'm just going to have to beat on Sly's pretty much worthless new flunky instead. Hey Iron Hand, if you're looking for someone to take the title off of Paganax right away, sign me up so I can do something else Encubus has never managed to do; win the GWF championship."
Thantos vs.
SymbiosisThantos defeated Symbiosis with a LEGEND LARIAT
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: Thantos looked impressive, picking up the win with little trouble. Symbiosis has a few flurries of offense, but never anything that put Thantos in danger of losing. The end came when Thantos used a Skullsmasher to set up the LEGEND LARIAT and the pin.
Tauran vs.
Coven BlackTauran defeated Coven Black with a VICTORY STAR DROP
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Coven Black knows how to cause controversy and get people talking outside of the ring, but he has yet to show that he knows how to win a match inside the ring. Tauran countered everything Coven tried and won with his crowd pleasing finisher, the VICTORY STAR DROP.
- Interplanetary title prematch -Tricks was in his dressing room. The mood was suitably eerie and dark. Music playing in the background; it kind of sounded like a funeral dirge with calliope music underneath. Oracle was doing his gypsy routine, gazing into a crystal ball at a round purple cloth-draped table.TRICKS: "Things are looking up around here! Excitement! Confusion! FUN! Hit me with some of that good old time religion, Oracle."
ORACLE(gazing into the ball):
Nomad espionage
entering stony terrain
Penelope worldling and the wayward gypsiologist
set forth to rediscover a new land.
TRICKS: "Beautiful. Just beautiful."
Meanwhile, Swarm called for his adversary in the ring.SWARM: "I've been attacked by a robot commissioner, I've had my son nearly blinded by a maniac, and I've had my team torn apart by some supposed 'elder beings' and their game of human chess. I think it's time for me to get a little satisfaction, so Tricks get out here so I can wipe that demented grin off your face."

GWF Interplanetary ChampionshipTricks defeated Swarm with a COULROPHOBIA
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: Swarm looked to finish it early with the WASP TRAP, but Tricks got to the ropes. Tricks came back later and used COULROPHOBIA but Swarm managed to break the pin by getting his foot under the bottom rope. Swarm battled back and locked in WASP TRAP again, but Oracle got involved. Swarm cut him off and sent him flying out of the ring, then tossed Tricks out after him. The referee tried to prevent Swarm from giving chase, giving Tricks time to recover. As Swarm tried to pull Tricks back into the ring, Tricks used the trick flower one more time and got the win.
Tricks won the GWF Interplanetary ChampionshipAs the referee awarded Tricks the Interplanetary title Swarm recovered and attacked him from behind. Oracle tried to help but Mantis, face partially bandaged, came out to help his father. They got rid of Oracle and began thrashing Tricks, hammering him with punches and kicks.
Suddenly PANTHER WARRIOR ran out and broke it up. Swarm and Mantis were furious as Warrior allowed Tricks the chance to escape. Warrior explained to them that he needed Tricks in one piece to give his team a chance to win the Infinity Challenge. Mantis called him a traitor and again questioned his true allegiance. Swarm reluctantly agreed with his son and told Warrior that as long as the Challenge is going on that he could stay out of both of their lives. Swarm and Mantis left and Warrior stood lonely and dejected in the center of the ring. Which is a situation The Betrayer took full advantage of, as they were scheduled to face each other next. The little freak had been waiting underneath the ring all night waiting for his chance to attack and he took it, jumping Panther from behind to get a quick start to the match.- Infinity Challenge -Panther Warrior vs.
The BetrayerPanther Warrior defeated The Betrayer with a JUNGLE NIGHTS
Match Rating: 2.00
Match Notes: Panther Warrior quickly shook off the sneak attack and countered with his high-flying offense. Betrayer didn't mount much offense in return, but Panther's spectacular arsenal of moves still made it an exciting match as at one point he leaped to the top turnbuckle, walked the ropes, and delivered a flying body splash to Betrayer on the arena floor. After that it was all over, as JUNGLE NIGHTS sealed the deal and made it official.

Ultimate FightersThraxx defeated Shoot with a Throat Slam
Match Rating: 3.00
Match Notes: There was lots of back-and-forth action and plenty of opportunity for all three teams to score the win. The inexperience in the wrestling ring of the Ultimate Fighters was evidenced when in the ring with the veteran duo and former tag champs Thraxx and Zygon. That experience and teamwork was what made the difference in the end as Zygon took down Tristan and tagged in Thraxx to put away Shoot with a mighty throat slam as Zygon ran over to the corner and made sure no one would get involved to break the pin.
After the bout Nitro came out to congratulate his partners and handed a mic to Zygon so he could address the crowd.ZYGON: "We hate MMA almost as much as we hate the Gladiators and tonight we proved that the cage fighters need to learn to wrestle before they jump into the big leagues. You almost forgot about us, didn't you? That is a fatal mistake to make! Gladiators, we're next and we can't wait for a chance to humble the newest additions to your ranks just like we did the last ones! And then the tag team championship FINALLY comes back to us!"
NITRO: "And you couldn't have done it without the advice of the most electrifying wrestler in the GWF!"
Zygon and Thraxx glared at Nitro and he backed up a little before continuing.NITRO: "What I mean to say, is that you're looking at the next GWF tag team champions and as a trio we are ENERGY INCARNATE, future Infinity Challenge MVPs!"
