GWF War Games 2125
07.11.2125 from
- Golden Apple Challenge -
Phantasy vs. Shann-Ra vs. She Devil
She Devil defeated Shann-Ra with a top rope bodypress
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Great action in this triple threat match. Each lady had her highlight moments and chances to win, but She Devil overcame the odds and picked up the victory.
- Coven chooses -
After the hard-fought victory by She Devil Coven Black and Mother Superior entered the ring. Coven held the golden apple and announced that he had selected the winner-----and it is NOT She Devil. Mother Superior attacked her and tossed her out of the ring. Then Coven turned to Mother Superior and said it had been fun helping her destroy the competition in the women division but she was also NOT his mistress. The mysterious MISTRESS OF DARKNESS made her debut and beat Mother Superior senseless.
The women, with Coven's spell seemingly broken, began to finally act as if they realized what had been happening all of these weeks. She Devil was angry, Phantasy speechless, and Shann-Ra seemed particularly humiliated as she sullenly walked away with her head hung low. Ensor came out to console her, but she ignored him and kept walking. Coven told Ensor that, since he was already at ringside, he should step in and become the first body to pave his road to domination.
Ensor vs. Coven Black
Coven Black defeated Ensor with a DIAMOND EYES
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: Fast action in a somewhat short match. Ensor looked good, but made one mistake and Coven was all over him en route to the convincing pinfall win.
- Interplanetary Title Match -
Panther Warrior vs. Tricks
for the GWF Interplanetary Championship
Panther Warrior defeated Tricks with a disqualification due to Oracle interference
Match Rating: 2.00
Match Notes: Warrior was poised to win the belt when Oracle jumped into the ring and hit him in the back with the crystal ball as he went for the pin. Tricks got up, said "I'll bet you didn't see that one coming", grabbed the belt, and left.
- Mutually Assured Destruction Match -
Retribution vs. Nosfera
Retribution defeated Nosfera with the taking of the victory
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Sheer brutality from bell to bell. The object of the match was to first put the opponent through a table and then climb the ladder to grab the brass ring and claim victory. Retribution set up a table in the corner and speared Nosfera through said table. Nosfera fought back and put Retribution on a table on the floor. He then did a running dive over the ropes and sent Retribution crashing through the table. After that the ladder came into play and was used by both men to bloody the opponent. Finally, Nosfera climbed up, but Retribution knocked him off of the ladder and sent him crashing to the floor. Retribution grabbed the prize and claimed the win.
- GWF Championship Match -
Endgame vs. Paganax
for the Galaxian Championship
Endgame defeated Paganax with an ULTIMA LEAP
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: Paganax brutalized the challenger for several minutes and nearly got a quick win with PAGAN VOID. Endgame kicked out, but got more abuse for the effort. A second PAGAN VOID looked to have it won for the champion, but Endgame somehow powered out. Paganax grabbed him off the mat for a choke slam and tossed him into the turnbuckle. He then whipped him into the opposite corner and followed, but Endgame moved and used a roll-up for a two-count. Endgame hopped to his feet, leaped to the top rope, and used ULTIMA LEAP to get the miracle win and regain the title.
Endgame won the Galaxian Championship
- Overmaster's fifth man -
Overmaster led his men to the cage and said he was not a man to be trifled with. He said Iron Hand was a worthy adversary, but his tactical move of signing Pendragon has been countered with the greatest free agent in the galaxy, AVARICE.
- WAR GAMES -
Iron Hand, Clinch, Havoc, Pendragon, and Shoot vs. Turmoil, Rush, Paralyze, Aethran Overmaster, and Avarice
Iron Hand defeated Aethran Overmaster with an I RUN THIS FED
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Shoot and Rush were selected to enter first. Overmaster's team won the advantage and sent in Turmoil.Things were looking bad for Shoot when the period ended and Iron Hand sent Clinch in to even the sides. Next up was Paralyze, then Pendgragon, followed by Avarice. Iron Hand himself rushed the cage next to help his team, followed by Overmaster, and finally it was Havoc's turn to get involved.
After lots of action, the combatants were pretty much spent and it was down to Iron Hand and Overmaster when MONOLITH made his dramatic return by stomping to cageside. As everyone watched on, Monolith ripped open the cage and jumped inside. Overmaster charged but was floored with the Crashing Stampede. Iron Hand then used I RUN THIS FED to secure the victory.
Following the bout Iron Hand took the mic and spoke. He looked down at Overmaster, then at Monolith (who had walked about halfway back down the aisle), and said revenge is not a valid motive but punishment is. That said, Iron Hand exited a GWF ring for the last time and Monolith returned to hit a stunning shooting star press on the fallen Gladiator leader to end the show.
Overall Card Rating: 3.17
And it all leads into.......... GWF 2126 (which can't be added here because of some unfortunate account deletion circumstances)!
