GWF Classics #34: Mayday 05.10.2077 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Galactic Wars II is in the books and it was a night of brutal and amazing action.
First off, let's discuss what happened to Harley Marlboro. At the close of his POW Rules match with Morpheus, Cosmos made his return and he and Morpheus destroyed Harley. We've found out that Harley will be gone for 16 weeks! That's 4 months of action that Marlboro will miss due to the TRIP TO HADES through a table and chair assisted leg drop across the chest.
As punishment, the board has decided to hand out a 12 week suspension and an undisclosed (but presumable sky-high) fine to Morpheus! Morpheus is taking it in stride, but says he feels no remorse for what he did and he simply sees his suspension as one of Omega's continued ways of one-upping him and keeping him away from Cosmos upon his return from injury.
What will happen when the man from Aldeberran makes his return? And what about Harley? We'll just have to wait and see...
Also, Omega successfully defended the Galaxian title with two straight falls against KO Keller. As a result of Torin Caelum's win over Santon the Loner in their brutal chain match, those two will square off once again for the belt! They put on the match of the year in 2076 for the strap and Caelum was the first champ in GWF history! His resilience in the chain match was unbelievable as he bled for nearly the entirety of the bout! Will this be Caelum's night, or is Omega beginning the journey for another record setting title run?
We'll also see two non-title matches and a new wrestler debuts! Welcome to Mayday!
The Crosscurrents vs. The Windriders Rama defeated Vortex with a DEIMOS DRIVER at 14:45 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: These four young hi flying athletes have been carrying on a great series of matches and when their last encounter ended in a DQ at the end of a 2/3 Falls match.
The action got off to a hot start with multiple reversals as Rama tried to cinch in a chicken wing on Vortex. They see-sawed for quite a while and it continued in this fashion even after tags were made.
All four were on point in this match and it was a great showcase for their talents and another notch in the belt of the greatest tag team division in the galaxy.
Both teams worked the double team, but the Wind Riders always seemed to just come out on top in the exchanges.
Rama covered Thetis after a shooting star press and things quickly broke down as Vortex attempted the save. We had shades of the double dq from a few months back, but the ref restored order and the action continued as the Wind Riders tried to seal the deal.
Rama hit a tope suicida to the outside and then they followed it up the DEIMOS DRIVER, but Vortex made the save. Tano continued to press the advantage, but a desperation tag brought Vortex in and things changed a bit!
Tano came back with a huge lariat tho and tagged Rama in. Rama took it Vortex and scored with some big moves before tagging in Tano... Rama put Vortex on his shoulders and Tano came off the top with a hurracanrana!!! Vortex was on dream street! Rama is tagged back in for the DEIMOS DRIVER! Tano cuts off Thetis! Cover! 1...2...3!
What a win for the Wind Riders! They came up short at Galactic Wars, but they stand tall now!
After the bell Rama grabbed a mic...
RAMA: You know, we been going on and on like this for a while. And it's clear we've got something here... We came up short when we stepped in the ring with Paladin Power at Galactic Wars, but tonite we get the win... There is no doubt in my mind that the four of us bring out the best in each other. We give these fans a show and are without a doubt one of the reasons they put their money down to see us... Now the way I figure it, the only way we're gonna get better is to keep competing at our highest level and we can do that with you... And then, maybe then, we'll be able to be tag team champions one day... So with all that being said, what do you say when we hit TItan next month we start a series of matches leading to Galaxies Collide and then at Galaxies Collide we give these fans something they've never seen before! We blow it off in a way that leaves one of these two teams as the uncrowned tag team champions! What do you say?! Are you up for it?!?
Thetis and Vortex grab their opponents outstretched hands and there's a tense moment as they pull Rama and Tano closer... They're trash talking, but it looks like we've got a deal! What a series it will be! - Non-Title Match - Cordsar vs. El Virtuoso El Virtuoso defeated Cordsar with a Tope de Cristo at 1:32 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Cordsar has been crowing for months about wanting the UWA Jr title and even had a shot that ended in DQ. He's getting this Non-Title match tonite with another title shot still down the line.
Of course, after this match, the board may have to reconsider!
Virtuoso came out on fire and after taking a shoulder tackle off the ropes, he ducked a double arm clothesline and never looked back.
He pulled out his highest impact maneuvers and when Cordsar rolled out, he hit him with a death defying corkscrew that had both men out of it.
The champ was able to get to his feet, roll the challenger in and follow up a slingshot plancha with a Tope de Cristo for a solid 1, 2, 3!
Cordsar was in bad shape and even the champ was hurting after their collision outside.
The champ in a display of sportsmanship went to check on his opponent only to be blasted with a low blow!
Cordsar then left shouting that he was still going to win the belt!
- Debut Match - Silvar vs. Mimic Silvar defeated Mimic with a DQ at 6:52 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Hailing from Aruigae and at a hulking 6'2" 253 pounds, Silvar is set to make his GWF debut against the silent Mimic!
They got off to a hot start trading holds and it was clear early on that it would be a battle of strength vs. agility.
Mimic eventually exploded with a spinning heel kick and came close to putting the newcomer away with his finishing hold!
Silvar impressively battled back and the action spilled outside. Mimic came over the top with a plancha, but Silvar evaded it and took over on offense.
He had a hard time capitalizing on the mistake tho and Mimic came back due to his speed advantage.
Mimic couldn't put him away though and as his frustrations mounted the action spilled outside again and Mimic spat a black mist at Silvar!
The ref calls for a DQ! Welcome to the GWF! But that was uncalled for. What is Mimic thin- Aw who are we kidding, he's been an odd duck since day one.
- Non-Title Match - Paladin Power vs. Defiance This match ended in a draw (TIME LIMIT DRAW) at 30:00 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: These four men have met plenty of times over the years, even before the GWF began during their POW years.
Paladin Power were usually the fan favorites in those encounters and picked up most of the wins and their feud in the GWF has not exactly been conclusive and when Jammer went down with his injury it stalled their rivalry after a Paladin Power win.
Defiance's issues with the Mensans are far from over, but tonite this old rivalry gets rekindled!
This was an incredible bout that saw all four men go back and forth in and out of the ring.
Flare and Jammer started things off and neither man was able to get the advantage for long. Both teams ended up using the double team and their were near falls on both sides.
Eventually things broke down and got heated when Flare and Moonstrike targeted Jammer's reconstructed knee. Blood tried to interfere and risked a DQ to do so, but the ref was having none of it.
Jammer was eventually busted open on the outside but stayed in the bout mounting a short comeback and tagging his partner in.
Blood took it to both of the Titans and scored a few nearfalls including one on Moonstrike after a sick brainbuster.
Blood was fired up and took the action to the outside after Moonstrike made a tag to Flare.
Blood put Flare through a table with a suplex and Moonstrike came to his partner's aid! Here comes the bloody Jammer!
The bell is ringing! What's going on? Do we have a countout? A DQ?
No! The ref has announced the time limit has expired! All four men trading blows after the bell! What a match?!
Santon the Loner vs. Screw Screw defeated Santon the Loner with a FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 2:07 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: This was a wild brawl. As if you would expect anything else. Screw almost immediately took things outside, but Santon smashed him into the announce table.
Back inside he hit a skullcrusher, but Screw came back big and got a FREAKISH FACE SLAM out of nowhere for the quick win!
He avenges a loss dealt to him in equally quick fashion from last December at Year's End.
These two have been trading wins and losses for the better part of the past few years and always been in the thick of the title hunt.
Screw wasn't done after the bell rang and tossed a chair at Santon who was able to clear the ring before the monster went on too big of a rampage.
- 2/3 Falls - Omega vs. Torin Caelum for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Torin Caelum with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 10:11 Omega defeated Torin Caelum with an Indian Death Lock at 12:27 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: These two are no strangers and it was Omega that ended Caelum's run as the first GWF champion. Caelum has attempted to take the strap back a few times, but the champ has stayed strong. Omega recaptured the title from Keller after what could be described as a hiccup in his earlier reign.
They've had classics before and this one had all the earmarks from the get go.
It went back and forth and both scored nearfalls.
The action was too fast and too close to call until Omega was sent into the turnbuckle and Caelum went charging with a splash, but Omega moved and Caelum caught the post!
He was busted open and Omega capitalized with a TOMAHAWK THRUST! Caelum got the shoulder up!!!!
Omega was shocked and so were the fans, but the crimson masked Caelum couldn't withstand a second TOMAHAWK THRUST and Omega takes the first fall a little after 10 minutes.
Caelum tried to mount a comeback, but the champ was just too much and after securely locking in the Indian Death Lock the bloodied and battered Caelum had no choice but to tap out.
Omega retains the title. The second reign has begun with convincing wins over Keller and Caelum. The only question is... Who's next?
With Morpheus suspended, Harley Marlboro out, and no clear cut contenders who will step up to challenge Omega?
We'll find out next week... And Cosmos returns!

GWF Classics #35: Clash On Titan 06.07.2077 from TItan Sportatorium Titan, Saturn
- Non-Wrestling Segment - The biggest news going into tonite's show on Titan is the return of Cosmos! He'll be tagging up with Omega to face Ricken Prince and Screw. A light alliance has been formed seemingly between Screw, Prince, and the injured Harley Marlboro. But with Morpheus suspended and he and Omega now locked in a battle for Cosmos' loyalty what will come from tonite's main event?
Cosmos has not been able to be reached for comment and Omega has kept things short and simple.
OMEGA: We... and yes I mean Morpheus and I, have brought talent like Cosmos to the GWF to uphold a tradition. And I'll do whatever it takes to keep the fighting spirit alive. Fair play and sportsmanship can prevail. And Cosmos will see that. I know it in my heart.
The night is packed with action beyond that intense contest. The Wind Riders and the CrossCurrents will face off in their series leading to Galaxies Collide.
Commander Sam and Mangus will do battle in the squared circle taking their feud to new heights, that we can be sure of.
Blood and Solar Flare will seek to gain an edge in their respective tag teams' feud over the GWF Tag straps.
And Blood's partner, Jammer, will face off with Trotarus seeking revenge for a nearly career threatening injury dealt over a year ago to his knee.
But first up, Silvar wrestles his second GWF bout against Mimic!
Silvar vs. Mimic Mimic defeated Silvar with a MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER at 3:36 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Silvar debuted on the last card and picked up a win by DQ when Mimic spat a black mist into his face outside the ring!
The rematch was made and you can bet the rookie is looking for a measure of revenge.
He looked good from the start and punished Mimic with his strength, but the mime from hell came back and used his speed to get a big advantage.
A trio of elbow drops led to a flying head scissors and Silvar rolled out. Whether it was for a breather or to goad his opponent into meeting him outside one can't be sure, but Mimic stayed inside and Silvar was forced to meet the refs count.
Mimic applied his finisher, but Silvar made the ropes.
He looked dizzy, tho, and Mimic applied it again and this time Silvar was put to sleep.
The Crosscurrents vs. The Windriders Tano defeated Vortex with a DEIMOS DRIVER at 9:50 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: These four men have provided considerable entertainment for GWF fans over the past couple of years and tonite was no change.
This was a much faster paced affair which is saying something. They went nearly 10 minutes but the action never let up and there were plenty of tags and great action.
After a series of nearfalls, Rama made the tag to Tano and they hit the DEIMOS DRIVER on Vortex! Rama prevented Thetis from making the save and the fan favorite Windriders got the win!
These two teams will meet on every card leading up to Galaxies Collide. Who will walk away with the most wins?
Solar Flare vs. Blood Blood defeated Solar Flare with a DQ at 0:37 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: Tensions are running high after the 30 minute classic that ended in a draw between these two teams on the last card. They're no strangers, but now that Paladin Power are the tag team champions they seem to want to hold on to the titles at all costs.
We got off to a hot start as Flare reversed a whip into the turnbuckle, but Blood moved when Flare came charging in and he went up, over, and out to the arena floor!
Blood followed, but the brawl the erupted got out of hand and Flare was DQ'd after bringing a table into play.
Jammer and Moonstrike got involved and all four men had to be separated. Will Defiance get a title shot now?
Jammer vs. Trotarus Jammer defeated Trotarus with a BAD NIGHT at 3:39 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Jammer returns to singles action for the first time since his injury! Trotarus was the man that almost snapped his knee after a concentrated attack by Cordsar. When the Mensans and Defiance met at Galactic Wars upon Jammer's in ring return the match ended in a DQ, but Jammer and Blood got the upper hand after the bell in addition to a sullied victory.
They've since set their sights on the tag titles held by long time rivals Paladin Power, but in the meantime, Jammer challenged Trotarus to a singles match.
They started off back and forth and methodical. Jammer got the upper hand, tho and even went up top launching himself off with a flying clothesline that brought the big man down!
Jammer looked great and eventually put him away by being merciless with the cobra clutch he calls BAD NIGHT.
It was a solid win that certainly went towards avenging his injury.
Afterwards Jammer grabbed a mic.
JAMMER: It is so good to be back in a GWF ring and here on Titan, no less! Now I know Solar Flare and Moonstrike are the hometown heroes here, but I want to lay out an official challenge for the tag team titles! I know I've been on the shelf for a year, but I think it's safe to say that I'm back, which means Defiance is back! And I don't think there should be any doubt that we're more than worthy challengers to your new reign!
Commander Sam vs. Mangus Mangus defeated Commander Sam with THE ANNIHILATOR at 1:52 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The bad blood was palpable as these two warriors took to the ring and they both went full bore from the get go.
Mangus seemed to have the upper hand and hit some hi-impact moves, but Sam came back!
The action quickly spilled outside and Mangus reached under the ring and attacked Sam with a turnbuckle wrench!
The ref missed it!!!
He rolled Sam in and hit THE ANNIHILATOR for the 1, 2, 3!
Omega and Cosmos vs. Ricken Prince and Screw Screw defeated Cosmos with a double team piledriver at 13:12 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Cosmos makes his in ring return partnering with Omega to take on Ricken Prince and Screw!
There's bad blood stemming from Cosmos' injury and then the brutal beating Cosmos and Morpheus put on Harley Marlboro in revenge for said injury.
It's no small secret that Ricken Prince has plenty of money and there's more than a little speculation that he's been bank rolling multiple wrestlers lately, Marlboro, Mimic, and, yes, once again, Screw.
These four got it on in raucous fashion with Cosmos and Screw starting things off in a back and forth manner.
Cosmos was able to wow the fans, but Screw used his power to cut any offensive spurts short.
Eventually Prince came in and again they battle back and forth before Cosmos nearly scored a pinfall, but Screw broke it up. Omega was tagged in and the champ brought it big time!
Omega nearly scored a win with the COSMIC WAR DANCE, but Screw again made the save.
Cosmos came back in and a double team neckbreaker nearly put Prince away again, but Prince rallied back and Screw came in and dominated the youngster.
Cosmos rallied back, ducked a lariat and slapped on a sleeper! Screw however backs into the corner with power! Cosmos gets to his feet reeling and is met with a middle rope clothesline!
Omega is in to break up the pinfall, but the ref cuts him off... Prince is in! Double team piledriver! Cosmos' injured neck!
Screw with the cover!
1, 2, 3!
Omega is in and trying to tell the ref what happened, but it falls on deaf ears as Screw and Prince stand victorious in the entry way. Omega tries to help Cosmos to his feet, but the youngster, clutching his neck, shrugs the champ off and skulks out of the ring...

GWF Classics #36: Fight Night on Neptune 07.09.2077 from Galatea Gymnasium, Galatea, Neptune
- Non-Wrestling Segment - We are emanating from Galatea, Neptune tonite and it has been announced that the GWF Title is on the line!
Omega will defend against perennial top contender, Screw!
Screw delivered a beating to Omega's (or Morpheus') protege, Cosmos in tag action on the last card furthering a growing rift between Omega and Cosmos.
The youngster will be in action tonite taking on rival, Mimic.
Meanwhile, the feud between Commander Sam and Mangus takes an interesting turn as Sam's old partner, K.O. Keller tags with Sam against Mangus and everybody's favorite high roller, Ricken Prince. Prince has his own history with Sam and Keller and this will be an interesting match up to say the least.
Also of note, Torin Caelum returns to action after a few weeks off with an interesting challenge to the UWA Jr Heavyweight champ, El Virtuoso in a non-title match. (Caelum does not meet the weight qualifications anyway, but Virtuoso has agreed to step into the ring with one of the best wrestlers in the galaxy!)
Of course, we open our action packed evening with tag team action as the CrossCurrents and Wind Riders continue their rivalry and series. The Wind Riders currently have the edge after their victory on the last card!
The Crosscurrents vs. The Windriders Vortex defeated Tano with a WATERY GRAVE behind the ref's back at 3:01 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: These four men are learning one another's rhythms in the ring very well.
Rama and Tano are coming off a series of victories over the CrossCurrents, but Thetis and Vortex are never to be taken lightly.
Tano started off with Vortex and it became clear that this one was a sprint not a marathon.
Rama and Tano hit the DEIMOS DRIVER early, but Vortex was able to kick out.
Rama and Tano kept on the pressure tho and it looked like it was only a matter of time.
Tano came off the top, but Vortex rolled through! 1... 2.. NO! Rama breaks it up.
As the ref is escorting Rama to the apron, Thetis jumps in... WATERY GRAVE!
Vortex makes the cover!
1, 2, 3!
How quickly things can change! Tano is out of it as Rama complains to the ref.
There's a lot of jawing in the ring and we know this rivalry isn't even close to being over as they will continue to do battle into Galaxies Collide!
Moonstrike vs. Blood Moonstrike defeated Blood with a DQ at 7:22 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: We know it's only a matter of time before Defiance and Paladin Power face off for Paladin Power's GWF Tag Team Titles, but in the meantime, their war has broiled over into singles action.
This was a great old fashioned brawl that see sawed all the way. In and out of the ring.
One great spot saw multiple reversals lead to Blood attempting a lariat only to be met with a skull shattering superkick!
At one point Moonstrike hit the PALADIN DROP only for Jammer to become involved!
Blood capitalized and soon applied SCAR TISSUE, but Solar Flare got in on the action!
We had a four way brawl and the ref tried to maintain some order, but when it spilled outside, Blood waffled Moonstrike with a chair and drew the DQ.
These four could hardly be contained and Omega even made his way out with a mic.
OMEGA: OK! I think we get it. You four want to tear into one another. Fine by me! I am officially scheduling a match for the titles at Galaxies Collide between the four of you! In the meantime, we're gonna have a few more matches. One at each of the next three cards. Whichever team comes out on top, chooses the stipulation for the title match!
Oh, and since you can't seem to keep things civil... All three matches will be Titan Death Matches!
- Non-Title Match - Torin Caelum vs. El Virtuoso Torin Caelum defeated El Virtuoso with a CAELUM'S GRIP at 15:36 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Two of the finest athletes in the galaxy lock up in this one. The current UWA Jr Heavyweight champ, El Virtuoso, taking on the very first Galaxian Champ, the legendary Torin Caelum.
They put on a fantastic nearly not perfect compact 15 minute match that went pack and forth with multiple nearfalls and each man showed off their respective styles at the expense of the other.
Highly competitive contest that see sawed back and forth the whole way.
Virtuoso leveled Caelum late in the match with a plancha to the outside, but it took a lot out of the Jr Heavyweight champ as well. The costs of a hi risk style.
The finish was hot as both men were taken down with double lariats!
Caelum slowly got his feet first and made his way to the top of the turnbuckle! Virtuoso is up! He meets Caelum up top.
They exchange blows... Virtuoso falls to the mat! Caelum comes off with a diving knee drop!
CAELUM'S GRIP!!!
El Virtuoso taps out.
What a match! The fans are on their feet for both men.
Caelum and Virtuoso shake hands as we have experienced everything that the the GWF aspires to be in one match.
Commander Sam & K.O. Keller vs. and Ricken Prince, Mangus Mangus defeated Commander Sam with an illegal choke at 2:07 Match Rating: 1.25 Match Notes: Sam and Mangus are already at each others throats going into this tag team contest. We know that they will likely have a match at Galaxies Collide as they continue battling from pillar to post taking out the aggressions of a war long thought over.
Keller and Sam are no strangers to tagging with one another, tho it has been a little while since they've stepped into the ring together.
Prince and Mangus have never tagged with one another and Prince has been mired in a lot controversy over the past year regarding the way he's been using his money to influence other wrestlers. Is Mangus another of his hired guns? Will the bad blood existing between Prince and his opponents create a new rivalry here?
Sam and Mangus start off and it's hot! Sam pummels Mangus with stiff shots and takes him out of the ring early.
Mangus takes a full count before sliding back in.
Sam continues with some stiff shots, but makes a mistake when he goes up top. Mangus tosses him to the mat and applies a choke hold! The ref checks the hold, but Mangus is able to modify it just in time... The ref steps back and Mangus puts the illegal choke back in!
Sam is out! The ref checks the hold, but it's too late, Sam is out and the match is over!
The fans are booing as Keller tries to explain what happened... The ref stands by his decision, tho as Prince and Mangus make their way to the back through a HOT crowd.
Sam is up, but groggy.
SAM: MANGUS! These people won't stand for this... And I won't stand for this! You want to resort to all your dirty tactics... Well, I've been to war, son, and you've been to war... You think I can't get dirty? Think again! And watch your back! Cause I'm comin!
Cosmos vs. Mimic Mimic defeated Cosmos with a count out at 13:09 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Prior to the match Cosmos grabbed a mic.
COSMOS: Last month I came back to the ring and tagged with Omega, but ended up getting spiked with a piledriver from Screw and Ricken Prince... Lost the match and left the arena. A lot of folks think I was slighting my mentor by refusing to stick around in the ring or talk it out... Respect and Honor... Two words that get thrown around a lot in this business. Something I'm learning a lot about. I got put out with a career threatening neck injury. And I came back at Galactic Wars and helped my other mentor, Morpheus, put Harley Marlboro, one of the men responsible for my injury... We put him on the shelf! Something I got a lot of flack for... Respect and Honor... It all boils down to this: respect is earned. Respect is given to those deserving. And BOTH Morpheus and Omega have earned my respect. Honor... Honor is something maintained. Kept, fought for. I don't know if it's something I have yet. There is no doubt that Omega has enough for the whole GWF... Morpheus, maybe not. But there is no honor among men like Harley Marlboro and Ricken Prince and I have no respect for them! And when Morpheus makes his way back here, I'll shake his hand! And I'll shake Omega's hand! And I am making it my mission to watch them shake hands right here in the very center of the ring!
Mimic made his way out as these two will continue their rivalry. Mimic has also apparently been on Prince's bankroll so there's plenty of bad blood between these two.
Cosmos came out swinging and nearly put Mimic away early, but Mimic kicked out of THE MASTERDROP!
Mimic would then battle back and apply the MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER!
Cosmos rallied, tho and they see sawed in and out of the ring. There were some moments of furious brawling on the outside and the ring steps, and guardrail came into play.
They left nothing back and it was anybody's match.
Cosmos withstood another MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER, but when the match went outside, Mimic slingshotted himself over the top and crushed Cosmos into the guardrail!
Mimic barely made the count himself, but Cosmos failed to re-enter the ring at all and was counted out!
Omega made his way out to check on Cosmos. The youngster seemed to be ok and he didn't seem to want Omega's help, either...
- 2/3 Falls - Omega vs. Screw for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Screw with a flying cross body from the top at :54 Omega defeated Screw with a count out at 16:09 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Omega came out swinging and after a couple of back and forth moves he came off the ropes with a huge knee to Screw's skull!
He hopped up to and hit a flying cross body to score a shockingly quick pinfall!
Screw was hot and the next 15 minutes were spent see sawing between the two competitors and the challenger would score a couple nearfalls, tho Omega even kicked out of a FREAKISH FACE SLAM.
Screw, however, also survived a COSMIC WAR DANCE.
Omega ended up building a head of steam tho and a Cetus Suplex scored a nearfall.
Another after a backroll press! Screw, frustrated and beaten, rolled outside. but Omega wasn't going to let him go. He came off the top turnbuckle with an awe-inspiring Tomahawk Chop from the top!
Screw was out and as Omega rolled in and took in the cheers of the crowd, the ref administered the count!
Omega retains the strap!
Overall Card Rating: 2.88

- Non-Wrestling Segment - We are rounding the solar system as we head into Galaxies Collide! Only two more cards after this one before the fall supercard makes it's debut!
-Tonite Cosmos will team with Omega to take on Ricken Prince and Mimic in the main event! Will mentor/protege team prevail or will the simmering tensions go to the next level? And as we get closer to the return of Harley Marlboro how will Cosmos handle Morpheus' imminent return on the next card?
-The battle over the tag straps between Paladin Power and Defiance continues to grow and there has yet to be any clear advantage. It's been one of the hottest feuds going and there's no question these four men will stop at nothing. Defiance, to win the belts, and Paladin Power to defend them!
-The Crosscurrents and WindRiders continue their rivalry with another match as we head to the supercard. They've given fans some fast paced hi flying action, whether in sprints or marathons and fans can't wait for more!
-Also, KO Keller answers the challenge of Mangus after Mangus has continued to run roughshod over Commander Sam. Sam on the other hand has promised to take things to a new level in his war with Mangus!
Venomous and El Demonico vs. Chucho Morales and El Virtuoso El Virtuoso defeated El Demonico with an ESPECIAL VIRTUOSO at 3:36 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: These four men are no strangers and it's no secret that Demonico wants Virtuoso's UWA Jr Heavyweight Title! Virtuoso has held that title for over a year, defending it throughout the galaxy in multiple promotions, including the GWF.
Demonico and Venomous brutalize Chucho early, but a shoulder tackle off the ropes saved the match as Morales made a tag to Virtuoso! A slingshot plancha led to the ESPECIAL VIRTUOSO and Demonico quickly tapped!
Cordsar came out!
CORDSAR: Virtuoso! I know I can beat you! I know I should be the UWA Junior Heavyweight champion! You're too afraid to face me again, because you know I'll make you tap! I am the submission master of the GWF! I put Jammer on the shelf for over a year! I'll tear your knee apart and take that belt!
[It was later announced that Cordsar would face El Virtuoso in a Submission Match at Galaxies Collide!]
Silvar vs. Santon the Loner Santon the Loner defeated Silvar with a SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 1:30 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Santon always seems to be hovering near the top of the rankings, but he's so far been unsuccessful in challenging for the title. Silvar is a rookie with not much to show so far, tho he has engaged in some great action with Mimic.
This was decidedly one sided while Santon proved why he's a top contender by destroying Silvar. The rookie tried to gain some momentum with a cross body, but Santon hit 3 running clotheslines in a row followed by the SPIKE PILEDRIVER for a convincing win.
The Crosscurrents vs. The Windriders Vortex defeated Rama with a WATERY GRAVE at 2:35 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: This series of matches is at 2-1 in the Windriders favor, tho the CrossCurrents scored the last victory.
Rama and Thetis chain wrestled at the start, then Thetis worked the chinlock. Rama was able to reverse to an abdominal stretch and it looked like we were in for another classic between these two, but then Thetis hit a lariat from no where and went for a cover! Rama gets the shoulder up.
Tag to Vortex... WATERY GRAVE!
Tano is in, but Vortex knocks him to the outside. Another WATERY GRAVE!
The cover! 1, 2, 3!
It's 2-2 in the series!
- -POW Rules- - Moonstrike vs. Blood Blood defeated Moonstrike with a pinning combo at 20:30 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Excellent hate filled match that saw lots of reversals.
They mostly kept it in the ring where Blood used his technical wrestling prowess to ground the agile Moonstrike.
He scored a couple of nearfalls and even put Moonstrike through a table at the ringside.
Moonstrike came back in a big way, tho and it looked like he was going to score a pin fall, but Blood reversed it with his own pinning combo to score the win!
Flare and Jammer are out! Jammer is put into the guardrail! PALADIN DROP on Blood! PALADIN MISSILE! Table in the ring! PALADIN DROP through the table! Jammer is in, but the damage is done! Blood has to be stretchered out!
[Later we get word that Blood will be out for about 6 weeks following a minor surgery! This war has reached critical mass! Jammer will face both Flare and Moonstrike in the next couple cards. If he scores a win, Defiance will choose the stip for their title match at Galaxies Collide!]
Mangus vs. K.O. Keller K.O. Keller defeated Mangus with THE TEN COUNT at 12:00 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Mangus has been terrorizing Commander Sam and Sam hasn't been able to score a win over the Cygnusian yet, but their war brought a few other folks into the fray recently including Sam's sometimes partner, KO Keller.
They had a hall of a match that went back and forth. Each man also controlled long stretches of the bout, too. Keller took a beating and Mangus busted Keller open on the outside! He went on to score a couple nearfalls, but the former champ came back and eventually scored the win when he followed a Keller's flying knee with THE TEN COUNT!
As Mangus was heading to the back, Commander Sam waylaid him with a chair! Just one shot. But it was enough! Mangus was down and Sam stood over him as the fans cheered!
Cosmos and Omega vs. Ricken Prince and Mimic Cosmos defeated Mimic with THE MASTERDROP at 1:12 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: Cosmos came out of the gate swinging and angry! He destroyed Mimic with some knees in the corner and then hit THE MASTERDROP! Prince attempted to interfere, but Omega got in the ring and held him off as Cosmos takes the quick win!
Omega turns to Cosmos and extends his hand. Cosmos looks at it for a moment. The fans are urging him to shake Omega's hand...
Morpheus' music hits! The fans are divided as the man from Aldeberran makes his way from the stands to the ring!
He's got a mic:
MORPHEUS: I know what you're thinking, chief. You're thinking I've still got a little time left on my suspension. Well, I was thinking that suspension only keeps me from competing. Didn't say anything about me buying a ticket and hopping in the ring for a little chat.
Cosmos stands between them. Morpheus focuses on the youngster.
MORPHEUS: Cosmos, you've had a lot to say recently. Your little diatribe on respect and honor hit home with me. I agreed with a lot of it and I couldn't help but think how confusing things must be for you right now. On one side, you've got the honorable respected GWF Champion, Omega [fans pop] and on the other you've got a guy that is probably lacking a bit in those categories... But love me or hate me, everyone in this building, including you, Omega, should respect me! I've given my life's blood to build this company into what it is today. When we were partners we were the most dominant tag team in the galaxy! I destroyed Harley Marlboro and all these fans know I deserve as much as anyone to wear that belt around my waist. But I'm not out here to whine about title shots or even talk about legacy... No, I'm here to talk about respect and honor...
Cosmos, you said you wanted us to all shake hands. To kiss and make up. You wanted to see that the foundation this company was built on can withstand the difference in ideology Omega and I share. To perhaps put to rest some of the confusion you feel over which route to take... I'm not here to make your mind up for you. That's something you'll have to do on your own one day. But as far as respect and honor goes...
Morpheus drops the mic and extends his hand!
Omega eyes him up. Cosmos is looking to both men. Omega goes to shake Morpheus' hand, but he pulls it away!
MORPHEUS: I told you a year ago, Omega. I told you I would never shake your hand! I'm not going to tag with you. I'm not going to give in. And here's your latest lesson, kid... You can have it all. You can have the strap, the fans' love, a family back home, but if a better man won't give you what you crave most from him, no matter how many times you beat him, no matter how many times you suspend him, no matter how much your protege looks up to him, it will eat you up inside!
COSMOS: You're saying you'll never shake his hand? Ever?
Morpheus nods...
COSMOS: What if he gives you another title shot? Will you shake on that?
The fans pop, but know that the stipulation to their ladder match last year was that Morpheus would never again challenge Omega for the title. Of course that was in Omega's first reign...
Morpheus is thinking...
OMEGA: Cosmos... I appreciate what you're trying to do, but it's not your job to make title matches.
COSMOS: I know it's not my job, but are you saying you won't give it to him? Why?
MORPHEUS: He's afraid boy. He's always been afraid. He knows deep down that regardless of what's come in the past that I am the better man. Hell, it's why he suspended me. It's why he sends me out looking for new talent. He's afraid. Isn't that right, Omega? You're yellow!
Omega looks angry as Morpheus laughs. Cosmos is trying to hold it together...
COSMOS: Come on, Omega. Give him the shot. But win or lose, you shake his hand Morpheus. I want your word!
MORPHEUS: Kid, if he gives me the shot... Win or lose... I'll shake his damn hand...
Morpheus extends his hand to Cosmos. Cosmos shakes it.
COSMOS: Omega?
Omega stares at both of them... And then walks away, stunning the crowd!?!
What does this mean?!?
Overall Card Rating: 1.68

GWF Classics #38: Ganymede Gauntlet 09.11.2077 from Ganymede Stadium, Jupiter
- Non-Wrestling Segment - -Omega is in the middle of the ring!
OMEGA: There are probably a lot of questions... Last time you saw me, I was walking that aisle to the back... I had a lot in my head, a lot in my heart, a lot in my soul... For the past year or so, Morpheus and I have been at each others throats... While also trying to bring up the new talent here in the GWF. Including Cosmos. There have been a lot of words tossed around in that time... Fear, respect, honor... And if there's one thing I have learned... one thing I know for sure... I always suspected, but now I have proof... Morpheus! You don't know what honor is! Morpheus! You don't know what respect is! And Morpheus, you do not know what FEAR IS!
I have tried! And tried to keep my wits about me... But there's been a lot put in front of me. Cosmos, Morpheus, the GWF Title! Trying to maintain some sense of order in this fed... And last month, I just didn't know what to do... what to say... I watched Cosmos get put through a table with the MARLBORO RUSH... I saw Morpheus and Cosmos take Marlboro out... And now everyone is coming back...
And I am left with nothing but challenges... Cosmos I want to answer your challenge first.
Cosmos makes his way to the ring.
OMEGA: You didn't just challenge me when you wanted Morpheus and I to shake hands. Or when you wanted me to put the title on the line against him. You challenge me by being the single best young talent I have ever seen... Ever! Your aptitude could take you further than I or Morpheus have ever gone. And I want to make sure you get there. I want to make sure you go just as far as I know you can. And I want you to do it the right way. I want you to know what respect means, to know what honor means, and I want you to eradicate fear! So I challenge you! I challenge you to be all you can be and learn all that you can. Not just from me, but Morpheus too. There is no doubt he has a lot to teach, but just know some lessons come with a price. Some lessons are hard... some are easy... You have the power to choose. The ball is in your court.
Morpheus' music hits and he makes his way to the ring.
MORPHEUS: Omega... isn't it just like you to talk a big game. Make these bold statements... And then, in the end, you hide. You hide behind this battle for Cosmos' soul! Well, from where I stand, the kid looks just fine. He's making his choices. He's paying his dues. And he's giving as good as he gets.
You're just hiding from me! Like always! Because even though you've beaten me, you're still afraid. You doubt whether you can do it again. Because you know that the greatest tag team of all time took two people! It took you... Yeah, the GWF champ... But it also took ME! The baddest man in the galaxy-
Harley Marlboro's music hits!!!! The man that Morpheus and Cosmos put on the shelf in retaliation for Cosmos' beating and subsequent injury!
HARLEY: Well, well, well... Lookie what we have here. All this commotion over such a simple issue, really. Because it all boils down to fifteen pounds of gold. What you've got around your waist Omega. It's the only damned thing that matters. I've been all around the galaxy. I've put a lot of folks down, but I came here with one goal and one goal only. I just got a little side tracked. Cosmos... I'll give you a freebie! I'm proud of ya kid... Seriously, you're no kid. You took some initiative and you got yourself a little payback. Good on ya... Morpheus... You, on the other hand... Well, you and I have some unfinished business. I think I owe you a receipt. And it will be paid. It will be paid... Omega... My only quarrel with you is over that belt. It's the richest prize there is and I've come to collect.
OMEGA: Enough talk! I'm going to make this very very simple. Morpheus, you and Harley will meet at Collision Course! The winner gets the title shot at Galaxies Collide! In the meantime, Cosmos, tonite, I'll wrestle Morpheus in a non-title match! And win or lose! I'll shake his hand!
HARLEY: I'm good with that... But just one last thing...
The vid screen comes to life and video of GWF #30: Rematch's opening moments come on the screen.
[The fans pop for Morpheus?!? He walks straight past Marlboro and into the ring. He paces in front of the new champ and Omega.
MORPHEUS: Omega... You had a hell of a run. And if you want your rematch, you can have your rematch. I'm not here to whine. I'm not here to stamp my feet. I'm not here to attack. I'm here... I'm here... to shake your hand....
The fans can't believe it and Omega looks wary. But Morpheus extends his hand...
A few tense moments pass...
Omega shakes his hand!
The fans pop big! It's a short handshake and there's no hug, but still!]
HARLEY: Seems to me you two already shook hands last year. Have fun with that... Damn, it's good to be back!
Morpheus does not look happy in the ring, Cosmos looks surprisingly content, and Omega looks s though he has the weight of the galaxy on his shoulders!
-We've got a great card for you tonite starting with tag team action! There's also a big 6-man later and Commander Sam and Mangus write another chapter in their feud.
-Also, Cosmos will see action against Ricken Prince! A victory would be big as Prince is one of the men responsible for Cosmos' injury.
The Windriders vs. The Crosscurrents Thetis defeated Tano with a Tidal Wave Tackle at 23:41 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: More excellent tag team action from these four men! The Windriders really brought the fight to Thetis and Vortex early on.
There was great offensive tag work from Rama and Tano and both men took chances with huge dives to the outside that paid off!
The fans were really into this bout and seemed to be behind both teams, but the longer it went, the more the Windriders had the backing.
The last half was back and forth all the way. All four men had taken punishment and were using a combination of rest holds and flurries of action to try to put the opponents away.
The DEIMOS DRIVER couldn't put either Vortex or Thetis away, but the finish saw Vortex counter an arm drag and hit a huge clothesline in the corner...
Tidal Wave Tackle! Cover! Rama can't make the save... 1... 2... 3! CorssCurrents take the win... Wait, what's this?
Rama knocks Thetis off the apron! He blindsides Thetis... DEIMOS DRIVER! Come on guys! This was supposed to be about sportsmanship and competitive spirit! Another DEIMOS DRIVER! Officials are out!
The Windriders head to the back as they've left Vortex in a heap in the middle of the ring...
We're two cards away from Galaxies Collide! Will The CrossCurrents be able to make the match on the next card? We know that tempers flare and both Rama and Tano have those tempers, but this was uncalled for after such a great bout.
Chucho Morales, El Virtuoso, and Torin Caelum vs. The Mensans and Venomous Torin Caelum defeated Cordsar with an abdominal stretch at 28:48 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Torin Caelum has joined up with Chucho Morales and El Virtuoso to take on the team of the Mensans and Venomous. He didn't take too kindly to Cordsar's remarks about being the best submission wrestler in the GWF...
This was an excellent six man tag match. All six men had their moments and Cordsar saw ring time with both VIrtuoso and Caelum to the crowd's delight... However, it wasn't one sided, the Mensan gave as good as he got.
The match had been an excellent athletic contest for the first 20 minutes, lots of great wrestling and strikes mixed with some hi flying and brawling, but Trotarus, steamed at how easily Torin Caelum had handled him earlier, took the action outside. Cordsar distracted the ref as Trotarus smashed Caelum with a chair! Caelum was busted open!
Trotarus then slammed him on the concrete and nearly scored a win by countout, but Caelum made his way back in.
Cordsar was tagged in and he began targeting Caelum's knee! It was reminiscent of the night Cordsar and Trotarus put Jammer out of wrestling for over a year!
Caelum nearly tapped to a figure four, but Torin Caelum fought back and made a tag to El Virtuoso!
Virtuoso took it to Cordsar big time and nearly scored a victory with VIRTUOSO ESPECIAL!
Caelum was tagged back in and he took the fight back to Cordsar!
He cinched in an abdominal stretch and nearly tore Cordsar in half! Morales and Virtuoso blocked Venomous and Trotarus as Caelum got the tap out!
- POW Rules - Solar Flare vs. Jammer Jammer defeated Solar Flare with a BAD NIGHT at 27:57 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: We have just had a string of great matches and this one was no exception!
This was a hate-filled back and forth brawl. In and out of the ring.
Solar Flare scored the first big hit when he drove Jammer through a table with a leg drop!
Jammer would come back tho and scored with a suplex through another ringside table!
Both men were busted open by the 20 minute mark and it looked like Jammer was ready to finish the match shortly after the table spot, but Moonstrike is out! He broke up the pin and he and Solar Flare took it to him!
The ref can't call for the DQ but he does get Moonstrike out of the ring while Flare tries to take Jammer's head off with a few spinning elbow smashes.
Jammer somehow rallied back and they continued the match in a hot fashion. It could've gone either way, but the finish came shortly after a Jammer scored a nearfall with a piledriver.
The action spilled out and it was a wild brawl! Blood made his way out and took out Moonstrike with a chair! He's not even cleared to wrestle yet!
Flare is rolled back in... BAD NIGHT by Jammer!
Flare taps! A bloody Flare taps out as and equally bloodied Jammer raises his hand in victory! Defiance chooses the stipulation for the title match at Galaxies Collide!
And on the next card Jammer gets Moonstrike in a match!
Cosmos vs. Ricken Prince Cosmos defeated Ricken Prince with THE MASTERDROP at 3:30 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: This one was hot! Cosmos tried to wrestle Prince to begin with, but it became clear that Prince wanted a dirty brawl and Cosmos decided to oblige him!
It was a see-saw battle and the finish came quickly after spilling outside. Prince whipped Cosmos to the guardrail, but Cosmos moved out the way as Prince charged in!
Prince hit the guardrail hard and Cosmos then slammed Prince into the announce table repeatedly!
He got away with it and then hit a suplerplex in the ring!
He goes up... THE MASTERDROP!
1, 2, 3! Cosmos scores a solid win in this brawl!
Commander Sam vs. Mangus Mangus defeated Commander Sam with a DQ at 6:32 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Another explosive brawl from these two!
It was back in forth in the ring and when it did roll out it played a big part in the course of the bout.
Mangus smashed Sam into the ring post and then hit THE ANNIHILATOR! But Sam kicked out!
Mangus was attempting a hi risk move from the top when Sam recovered and tossed him to the mat!
He ended up hitting SAM'S ATOMIC DROP, but Mangus kicked out!!
Sam went up top, but Mangus met him! They struggled and exchanged blows... Superplex!
Sam is hurting and Mangus gets to his feet first.
The action spilled outside again and Mangus is on top, but Sam slams Mangus on a table! The ref warns him, but Sam hits a piledriver!
Much to the fans dismay the ref calls for the bell and DQs Sam!
The fans were hot for this one. This feud hasn't provided us with a lot of five star matches, but the action and brawling has been intense from the get go!
- Non-Title Match - Omega vs. Morpheus Omega defeated Morpheus with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 2:25 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Cosmos made his way to the ringside area and took a seat near the time keeper. It appears he'll be watching his mentors go at it.
Morpheus makes his way down for his in ring return to a 50/50 reaction. He certainly looks all business after challenging Omega earlier only to be embarrassed by Harley Marlboro in his surprise appearance at the top of the show.
The GWF Champ, Omega makes his way out to a raucous pop from the crowd.
This non-title mach is all about respect... and honor.
The match started off as they traded holds. We had the beginnings of a mat classic here, but Omega shocked Morpheus and the crowd with a TOMAHAWK THRUST out of no where!
1, 2, 3!
Omega wins!
Morpheus gets up to his feet clearing the cobwebs...
Omega stands in the center of the ring raising the title.
Cosmos makes his way in and nods to Omega. Omega nods to him as Morpheus stands before them.
The crowd begins to chant "shake his hand" as Cosmos urges them on.
Morpheus asks for a mic.
MORPHEUS: That... That was unexpected, old friend... I'm not happy. Not by a longshot. And if Harley got one thing right earlier, it's that it's all about what you've got on your shoulder right now... I want it. I want it more than anything. And I will have it. Sooner or later. In the meantime, I guess Mr. Marlboro was right, we've already done this once before... Now, Cosmos, you want respect and honor... Here it is...
Morpheus and Omega shake hands! Cosmos nods his approval and eventually puts his hands on top of the Founding Fathers'. The grabs their wrists and raises their arms as the fans applaud...
Here comes Harley!
HARLEY: Well, ain't this nice... I'm glad you all got what you wanted. Because now the mood is about to change. Hands shook, deals sealed, next week Morpheus, I'm going to give you the receipt for what you did to me and walk my way to Galaxies Collide where, you, Omega, will taste defeat and that GWF title will be mine!
Overall Card Rating: 3.17

There will be more action to be announced!
-Tonite we see the return of Harley Marlboro as he takes on Morpheus to determine who will face Omega at Galaxies Collide! It's been announced as a 2/3 Falls Count Anywhere match!
-Cosmos and Omega will team up to take on the team of Rock Solid! Ricken Prince continues to be suspected of bankrolling some of the GWF stars. Allowing Screw, Mimic, and perhaps others skirt the rules. They've certainly not official branded themselves a stable, but one has to wonder if it's only a matter of time... What would Omega think?
-It's been confirmed that both Vortex and Blood will make full recoveries in time for Galaxies Collide!
Trotarus vs. Torin Caelum Torin Caelum defeated Trotarus with a dropkick at 8:30 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: So after the big six man tag Caelum wanted to get a singles match with the man that split him open and assisted Cordsar in targeting his knee. Luckily the first ever GWF champ came back and scored the win in that match over Cordsar.
Both men came to the ring alone.
They started out wrestling. Trotarus worked an armbar on Caelum, but Caelum would hit a bulldog out of the blue.
They see sawed and then Caelum began targeting the shoulder. Softening him up for CAELUM'S GRIP.
He also used a Boston crab to wear him down...
When he did apply CAELUM'S GRIP, Cordsar ran in and while the ref was checking on Trotarus he clipped his knee!
Trotarus went after him and even applied the MENSAN LOCK! El Virtuoso is in!!!
He pulls the ref out and tells him about Cordsar's interference. Cordsar pleads his case and the ref decides to let both men stay at ringside!
Caelum, meanwhile hits a shoulder breaker and goes to work on Trotarus!
He works the Boston crab trying to submit him! Cordsar attempts to interfere, but Virtuoso pulls him off the apron and they exchange blows as Caelum catches the wobbly Trotarus with a big dropkick!
1... 2... 3! Caelum picks up the win! Virtuoso is in and shakes his hand. Cordsar is checking on Trotarus... The big man is up and all four square off, talking trash, as the officials get between them...
[It's later announced that these four will meet in tag team action on the card following Galaxies Collide. And that both Caelum and Trotarus will be their respective partners official seconds for their title match at the super card!
Silvar vs. Mimic Mimic defeated Silvar with a MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER at 8:18 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: These two put on a nice compact match. It was mostly Mimic on offense as he bounced around the ring and wore down Silvar, but the big man had his moments.
He'd work a hold and then have a small flurry before Mimic would make the comeback. The beginning of the end was the first application of the MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER.
Silvar never fully recovered and Mimic continued to wear him down until a final finisher put him away.
- Commander Sam - Commander Sam is in the middle of the ring to the fans cheers. He has a mic.
SAM: Mangus! We've been warring all over the galaxy on this tour. for months now we've had singles matches, tag matches, and one thing always seems to be the hallmark... We do battle with no regard for the rules! We haven't had a clear decisive fight yet because all these rules!
Well, we've fired shots, blood has been drawn, but now we find ourselves in the coming to the end of our first chapter... And the announcement about the tag match got me thinking... There's only way to do it. We're not just opponents here, we are warring gladiators! We need to be surrounded by the steel too, but there's something else we need... Because this won't be any regular cage... We're going to lace it with barbed wire!
One man will walk out of that cage... The other will be stretchered out... And the winner closes chapter one victorious...
Mangus is out and storms the ring... Officials are in to try to keep them apart.
MANGUS: I accept your challenge! And when I decimate you in the cage... I will take your flag prisoner! And the entire galaxy shall know just how weak your race is and who the true victors of our war were!
Sam throws down the mic and goes after him! There's a sea of men trying to keep them apart, but both men get a few licks in before finally going their separate ways...
A BARBED WIRE CAGE MATCH!!! A first in GWF History... This could be hard to watch...
- POW Rules - Moonstrike vs. Jammer Moonstrike defeated Jammer with a PALADIN DROP at 4:10 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: This was a fast paced firecracker match. Jammer came out of the gates with a decapitating lariat and went to work on him!
Moonstrike came back and hit a pair of superkicks that had a powerful effect on Jammer.
At one point Moonstrike hit a corkscrew tope to the outside that had both men reeling, but the Titan was up and tossed Jammer back in.
Their tag team partners mostly kept out of the way...
Soon after the tope, Moonstrike hit a missile dropkick followed by a PALADIN DROP to score the win!
Tensions have been high in this one, but cooler heads prevail this time around.
Blood asks for a mic.
BLOOD: Boys... In just a few weeks, we're going to step into the ring and go for broke. You're putting the belts on the line and we are going tear the house down! And just so you can feel prepared... We're going to do it in Cage match! Escape to win! Elimination rules! First team out take the gold home!
Santon the Loner vs. K.O. Keller K.O. Keller defeated Santon the Loner with THE TEN COUNT at 17:39 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This was one hell of a brawl. In the classic sense. The ref had to warn both men multiple times, but the rules were pushed to their limits out of the ring as both men punished the other.
They went back and forth again and again and it really could've gone either way. The finish didn't come after a SPIKE PILEDRIVER and they continued to brawl.
The closing moments saw Santon getting tossed from the top, Keller going up, only for Santon to toss him and then hit a flying lariat.
It looked to be over, but the Santon took Keller outside and it backfired on him in a big way!
Keller smashed Santon into the guardrail head first and whipped him into the steel steps.
Back in Santon got THE TEN COUNT and Keller got the 3 count.
Hell of a brawl!
Cosmos and Omega vs. Ricken Prince and Screw Omega defeated Screw with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 29:00 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Omega and Cosmos have certainly had a tension filled few months and this bout would go a long way towards seeing if any progress has been made. Cosmos has struggled with the notion that his mentors have been battling not only over the title, but in their respective thoughts on Cosmos' training.
Screw and Ricken Prince have official formed a tag team, Rock Solid. We questioned earlier whether or not Prince would make his bankrolling known, perhaps this is the first step... Who's next to join this Prince's stable... or should we say Court?
Omega and Screw began the match and this was a truly unique bout from start to finish. It was also a damn near masterpiece!
Omega went for broke early, but Screw made a tag and Prince immediately had the champ reeling with a nearfall after a Samoan drop!
BOW TO THE PRINCE! The ref didn't see it! Cosmos is hot! Cover! In comes Cosmos, in comes Screw! All four men in the ring!
The ref is trying to separate them... Finally order is restored...
Prince turns around right into a TOMAHAWK THRUST!!!! Cover! 1... 2... NO! Prince kicks out! The crowd is shocked, but Omega is certainly still hurting from that low blow.
Cosmos is tagged in and he goes back and forth with both men until Screw hits a gorilla press followed by a FREAKISH FACE SLAM! Omega is in! Prince is in! Again all four going at it! The ref gives them some lee way and then gets order restored.
The fans are hot for this one! Great action.
Cosmos comes back with a Cosmic Skull Crusher and makes the tag. Omega comes in and begins to slow the pace as he intelligently works a few holds, nearly scoring a tap out on more than one occasion, but Screw stays in it.
They battle back and forth and all four men see action. It told a great story as Cosmos definitely brought it tonite. Showing heart, resiliency, and intensity in spades. Ricken Prince also seemed to step it up. Perhaps embarrassed by his loss to Cosmos recently, even taking it to the champ.
The finish came in a flourish of great action! Cosmos took it to Screw and hit his patented knees in the corner! Screw was reeling! Tag to Omega... Cosmos holds him... TOMAHAWK THRUST!
Cosmos turns to block Prince, but Prince is already coming, clothesline to Cosmos, but Omega hits another TOMAHAWK THRUST on Prince! Prince goes down!

He and Morpheus squared off and went hold for hold mixing it up with strikes, chain wrestling, and eventually exchanging holds.
The first fall came out of no where, but it was devastating. They exchanged strikes, Morpheus rolls through a uppercut, Harley catches the kick, spins Morpheus around into a piledriver!

I've looked over your fed over time and it's really fun reading about the early classics and your presentation is solid work. I like the victory by Mimic over Silvar, but the loss by Rock Solid was a bummer...

GWF Classics #40: Galaxies Collide 11.14.2077 from Niagra Tower of Lights, New York, USA, Earth
Mimic vs. El Demonico El Demonico defeated Mimic with a DEMONICO BOMB at 3:07 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Demonico tore Mimic apart! It was a savage lucha display.
At one point Demonico followed a spinning missile dropkick with a sprinboarg moonsault to the outside!
Mimic was nearly counted out, but he made his way back to the ring.
They brawled some more with Demonico dishing out the punishment. After whipping Mimic into the steps he hit the DEMONICO BOMB back inside to score the win.
It's only a matter of time before the demon challenges Virtuoso for the Jr title again. Can he unseat the king?
- 2/3 Falls No DQ #1 Contender Match - The Windriders vs. The Crosscurrents Vortex defeated Rama with a Spinning Vortex at 6:45 Rama defeated Vortex with a frog splash at 19:02 This match ended in a draw (TIME LIMIT DRAW) This match ended in a draw (TIME LIMIT DRAW) at 30:00 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This was an epic tag team contest in what has grown into one of the most intense rivalries in the GWF.
These two teams have met in tag action multiple times heading into Galaxies Collide and their last match ended in controversy when the Windriders lost their cool and attacked Vortex after the bell! Vortex was injured in the process after two DEIMOS DRIVERS, but he's back in fighting shape tonite!
It was fast and furious from the get go as they traded blows.
The first fall came in fast and furious style, too, with Vortex hitting the Spinning Vortex on Rama for the first fall.
The next 12 minutes were action packed and it continued to go back and forth in and out of the ring.
Both teams took advantage of the no DQ stipulation as tables and chairs were brought into play.
At one point Rama hit a brutal twisting dive to the outside. Both men were nearly counted out, but Rama kept up the pressure and moments later scored a pinfall after a frog splash!
The bout continued with tons of tag action and brawling with all four men in the ring at some times! There were nearfalls time and again and it looked as tho it would go either way.
The time limit came closer and closer until finally Thetis hit a plancha to the outside on Rama. Vortex and Tano went to check on their partners and began to brawl as the bell began to ring!
There are no DQs, could it have been a countout? No the time limit has expired!
What a match! The rivalry continues... Who will be the number one contender? Will they meet again, do we have two top contenders? - 2/3 Falls - El Virtuoso vs. Cordsar for the UWA Junior Heavyweight Championship Cordsar defeated El Virtuoso with a running lariat at 11:40 El Virtuoso defeated Cordsar with a Countout at 2:57 El Virtuoso defeated Cordsar with a Tornillo armbar at 21:27 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This matchup comes after Cordsar's repeated berating of the champ. He's stirred up a hornet's nest between that and labeling himself the submission master of the GWF which drew the ire of Torin Caelum, among others.
Caelum is the champ's official second tonite to offset the tag team partner of the challenge, Trotarus.
They went full speed in the opening moments. Trading holds and strikes. Virtuoso slapped in an octopus hold and nearly got the submission. It spilled out and the champ went flying! He hit a springboard moonsault DDT on the outside to the astonishment of the audience! What a move!!!
Cordsar looks out! The ref counts to ten and Trotarus can only help his partner up and into the ring for the second fall.
Cordsar somehow rallied back and they see sawed in the second fall. It looked like Virtuoso would score a submission for the second fall, but Trotarus hopped on the apron. Caelum pulled him down, tho and the ref had to separate them!
Cordsar used the distraction to his advantage and was able to mount a comeback. He dropkicked the knee and then hit a running lariat to the back of Virtuoso's head! What a combo! 1, 2, 3! They're even at one fall a piece.
The final fall saw them go hold for hold and it was anyone's match. Trotarus attempted to interfere again, but Caelum countered the distraction and Virtuoso scored a quick pin from the blue after a Tornillo armbar!
Great defense from the champ, but the fighting continues after the bell and we'll have a tag team match with these four on our next card!
K.O. Keller vs. Santon the Loner Santon the Loner defeated K.O. Keller with an atomic skullcrusher at 13:48 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: What a great brawl! These met recently in singles action and Keller came out on top with THE TEN COUNT, but Santon challenged him to a rematch and two of the toughest men in the GWF are set to go at it here at the Niagara Tower of Lights!
We got a great old-fashioned brawl that went back and forth with multiple nearfalls.
Keller nearly scored an early win after a KO Flurry and then a stomp to the chest, but Santon got the shoulder up.
The action would spill outside frequently and they put each other into guardrails and ring steps in equal measure.
Keller came back after not one, but two SPIKE PILEDRIVERs and Santon was at a loss for what to do next.
They brawled outside and Keller was split open!
Somehow he came back and it looked like he might have the match, but after a KO heart punch, Santon rolled out to collect himself. He then reversed a piledriver attempt into the guardrail and Keller took a nasty bump!
Back inside, Santon hit back to back atomic skullcrushers and covered the bloody Keller for the win.
Santon's not done! He grabs a chair and lays it in the middle of the ring... SPIKE PILEDRIVER on the chair!!!
And another!!! Keller is hurt! Officials are getting Santon out of the ring as Keller is stretchered to the back.
[Keller will be out about 4 weeks, he'll miss at least the following card, but should be back by the Deimos Perennial in January. Santon was fined an undisclosed amount of credits, but may now have a claim to a title shot after defeating the former champ!]
Morpheus and Cosmos vs. Rock Solid Screw defeated Morpheus with a Countout at 29:12 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Great back and forth affair here. Lots of nearfalls and big moves mixed with some brawling on the outside.
It got out of hand more than once and these four clearly have no love for one another. Morpheus and Cosmos worked well as a team, but so did Rock Solid.
Both Cosmos and Morpheus took the ROYAL DECREE, but wouldn't stay down. In fact Morpheus even delivered TRIP TO HADES to Screw, but the big man got the shoulder up.
The finishing moments were hot and Morpheus and Screw fought tooth and nail. The finish came when Screw crushed Morpheus with a leg drop across the guardrail! Morpheus could've broken ribs!
Cosmos couldn't help him up and as he was counted out, Prince and Screw blindsided Cosmos and then took the beaten Morpheus inside!
Mimic runs in with a pair of chairs and then sets a table up at ringside!
They lay a brutal beatdown on him and Prince hits ROYAL DECREE on a pair of chairs! Then Screw picks him up and hits a FREAKISH FACE SLAM off the apron through a table!
Omega was out and Prince and Screw hit the hills! Officials and medics flooded the ringside area. Morpheus was stretchered out and Omega and Cosmos looked on in concern.
[Morpheus will miss 8-16 weeks! Somehow there was no suspension, but a hefty fine was levied... I'm sure Prince paid it in full...]
- Elimination Escape Cage Match - Defiance vs. Paladin Power for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Jammer defeated Moonstrike with a double team brainbuster at 15:12 Moonstrike defeated Blood with a missile dropkick at 30:33 Solar Flare defeated Blood with a top rope leaping DDT at 39:22 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: What a match!
These four have been at each others throats for years! It's a feud born in POW and re-ignited here in the GWF.
And not the GWF Galaxian Tag Team Titles are on the line!
Blood returns from injury in this bout. They've had plenty of great matches already, beatdowns, and injuries. Tonite is a blowoff years in the making!
This one almost can't be described. It was an intense war that saw multiple escape attempts and plenty of double teaming and use of the cage. Solar Flare was busted open first after tasting the steel, Moonstrike followed soon after.
Jammer made the first escape as he applied BAD NIGHT to Moonstrike and then Blood bashed Flare before assisting Jammer with a double team slingshot into the steel!
Blood was soon busted open, tho as Paladin Power made a comeback. He withstood inhuman amounts of punishment and lost volumes of blood, wearing the proverbial crimson mask.
All three men were a mess, tho, and every time Blood made a comeback the fans got behind him. It wouldn't last, tho, as Moonstrike apitalized after a missile dropkick to escape. It's Flare and Blood now!
They went back and forth and the big moment of the match came when Blood attempted an escape. Moonstrike hopped up and tried to prevent the escape! Jammer grabbed him, but Flare had recovered a suplexed Blood off the cage! Flare attempted the escape, but Jammer was in position and pushed him off the cage wall!
Moonstrike and Jammer are fighting outside! As Blood and Flare lie in the middle of the ring.
Blood somehow get to his feet and the two men slug it out. Bloody and exhausted. Flare ducks a lariat and Blood goes into the steel.
Flare pummels him! Fallaway slam! Flare goes up... Blood rises... Leaping DDT from the top rope!
Blood is out! Flare climbs the cage... Moonstrike keeps Jammer at bay and Paladin Power retain in the damnedest cage match I've ever seen!
Blood has to practically dragged out by Jammer. What a war!
- Barbed Wire Cage Match - Commander Sam vs. Mangus Commander Sam defeated Mangus with a SAM'S ATOMIC DROP at 4:57 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: This was sure to be brutal and we got a taste of that in the opening moments.
Sam came out swinging and they struggled, but Mangus came out on top and made Sam taste the barbed wire when he reversed a whip!
Sam was cut and blood soon covered his face and left arm.
Mangus, smelling blood, went after him and punished him with all his big moves.
However Sam hit a lariat from no where and then slingshot Mangus into the cage!!
Mangus was bleeding as Sam hit SAM'S ATOMIC DROP that sent Mangus flying into the cage wall!
Cover! 1, 2, 3! Commander Sam wins!
Sam stands bloody, but triumphant as he takes the "first chapter" of this feud to a close.
- 2/3 Falls - Harley Marlboro vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Harley Marlboro with a scorpion death lock at 22:15 Harley Marlboro defeated Omega with a MARLBORO RUSH at 8:07 Omega defeated Harley Marlboro with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 24:39 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Omega... He is the GWF Galaxian Champion. Many consider him the greatest wrestler in the galaxy and say he will take his place among names like Gotch, Thesz, Flair, Misawa, Michaels, and Danielson as the representitive best of his generation.
Harley Marlboro... The free agent. The journeyman grappler with multiple titles and victories to his name. Could he derail the legacy of the champ? Will tonite see the beginning of a new legacy as Marlboro unseats the champion to become the best in the galaxy?
After the streamers were cleared from the ring and announcements were made, we were ready to get it on in the main event at the Niagara Tower of Lights for the first ever Galaxies Collide!
They wrestled a smart and slow paced first few minutes with lots of wear down holds and submissions. Marlboro hit the first big strike with Maffei Runway and followed with a nearfall...
They would battle back and forth and Marlboro would stun Omega with another Maffei Runway! 1... 2... NO!
MARLBORO RUSH! 1, 2, 3! Harley Marlboro scores the first fall! We're not even ten minutes in. This is a big advantage for the challenger.
They would see saw early in the second fall, but Omega mounted a big comeback and continued with a strong mat game almost scoring a tap out at one point, but Harley proved just how tough he was.
He was busted open after a COSMIC WAR DANCE, but still he got the shoulder up!
The battled back and forth as Omega continued to bring the fight to Harley and after multiple stretches, Harley was in a bad way, but he would not tap or stay down to the mat!
The action spilled outside and as they brawled, Omega was busted open after going face first into the post!
Back inside Marlboro dished out some big moves, but Omega wouldn't stay down! The bloody champ came back from a Marloboro Plunge and then applied a scorpion death lock to finally secure a submission on the weakened Marlboro!
As the third fall came to it dramatic conclusion some wondered if Harley hadn't made an error in not tapping earlier. Giving up the fall in order to stay fresher for the final deciding fall. Regardless of any nay sayers, one thing is certain: Harley Marlboro is one of the toughest men around.
The final fall came moments later after Omega dropped him with a Cetus Suplex and then called for the COSMIC WAR DANCE!
1... 2... 3! Omega does it again!
The bloody champ celebrates in the ring as Cosmos, Commander Sam, and Torin Caelum come out to shake his hand.
Marlboro eventually does the same thing and thanks Omega for the opportunity. He also tells him he'll be fighting for another shot and he knows their paths will cross again.
Morpheus is noticeably absent after his injury earlier at the hands of Ricken Prince, Screw, and Mimic...
What a night of action! We'll be back in just a couple of weeks with our newly titled GWF Main Event! As we begin the road to the first ever Deimos Perennial in January of 2078!
