This will be the thread to record my newly started GWF Classics fed. I'm hoping to run it up to my already existing fed and dove-tail records. Super-stoked about running this one. Results may come a little slower than my 2124 fed. I'm running with the idea that this could be considered a DVD box set. Videos of the first cards in GWF history with occasional "extras" like interviews and retrospective commentary. Also each card will have a sub-title, until we get to the era when more super-cards are taking place, then I'll probably go to a show title like "GWF Main Event" or something. Roster-wise, I'll be using EC, Classics, and eventually some L-FSCE guys. I'll probably go fairly by-the-book, but of course one of the great things about these years is that there is some more latitude. What follows is my "map" for the years leading up 2087: 2074-4 cards (1/month beginning 9/9/74) -GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Championship created 10/14/74 (Every 60 days, but usually 30) -GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championship created 11/18/74 (Every 60 days, but usually 30) 2075-12 cards (1/month) 2076-13 cards (1/month, first annual Galactic Wars in April) 2077-14 cards (1/month, Galactic Wars in April and Galaxies Collide in November) 2078-2086-16 cards (1/month, Galactic Wars in April, Galaxies Collide in December, Deimos Pernnial in January, and Star Bash in August) -First Annual Filsinger Cup Tournament 08/79 -First Annual Fighting Spirit Tag Tournament 10/84 2087-21 cards (Galactic Wars in late March followed by 2 cards/month, Star Bash in August, and Galaxies Collide in December) I may toss in an extra card here and there, but that's my plan for now. Basically a monthly card or two plus super-cards. Here's the line-up for the inaugural card: GWF Classics #1: Birth of A Federation 09.09.2074 from Deimos, Mars
Torpor vs. Commander Sam
The Mensans vs. Defiance
Ricken Prince vs. Santon the Loner
The Crosscurrents vs. Paladin Power
K.O. Keller vs. Torin Caelum
- 2/3 Falls - The Guardians vs. Dorado Sundown

GWF Classics #1: Birth of A Federation 09.09.2074 from Deimos, Mars
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the premiere event of the Galaxian Wrestling Federation! We have six exhibition matches to introduce you to some of the men that have agreed to compete for the organization many are anticipating to bring respectability and honor back to the storied sport of professional wrestling.
Omega and Morpheus have guaranteed a night of classic action and a very special announcement about the scheduling and future of the newborn federation.
We don't want to waste any time, though, so lets get to the ring.
Torpor vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Torpor with a cobra clutch at 7:14 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first, weighing in at 261 pounds, standing 5'10 1/2", and hailing from Cygnus... (This last bit gets a lot of heat from a mostly Pro-Earth crowd!) Torpor!
And his opponent, at 6' 2&1/2", 259 pounds, coming to you from the Earth, (this gets a huge cheer and a small Earth chant from the enthusiastic crowd) by way of the USA, Commander Sam!
Both men do nothing to disguise the enmity between them. The referee gives intructions and checks them. The bell rings and they go straight for each other. Torpor gouges the eyes! The fans are HOT!
The first engagement between two competitors in the GWF and it starts with an eye gouge. Considering the bad blood that still remains between the two races, it can't be a complete surprise, but still...
Torpor punished Sam with a series of running jackhammers! Sam was reeling and the fans were worried. Torpor sent him into the ropes for an arm drag, but Sam countered with a clothesline for a big pop!
He couldn't capitalize right away, though. Torpor was able to make it to his feet. Sam, still hurting, hit a forearm smash that almost took Torpor's head off!
Somehow, the Cygnusian was able to battle back. They exchanged holds as the pace slowed a bit. Still, the crowd was into this match-up.
The finish came after Torpor had capitalized on a rookie mistake. However, Sam seemed to be fired up because of his mis-step! He no-sold an arm-drag! He hit him with Sam's Atomic Drop! STAR SPANGLED BANNER! 1,2, NO! Torpor kicks out!
Sam, frustrated, locks in a brutal cobra clutch right there on the ground and Torpor resists, but has no choice other than tapping. Commander Sam gets the first win GWF history! And the crowd eats it up!
COMMANDER SAM: (winded) I just want to say... I'm proud... Proud to be an American, proud - - To be a Terran... And I'm damned proud to be a part of the GWF! Thank you so much!
The fans cheer for Sam as he makes his way to the back.
The Mensans vs. Defiance Trotarus defeated Blood with a MENSAN LOCK at 4:39 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: The following tag team bout is scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit! Making their way to the ring, from Mensa, with a combined weight of 481 pounds, Trotarus and Cordsar, the Mensans!
The audience are fairly indifferent to the Mensans, though there are a smattering of applause.
And their opponents, two men who are no strangers to the squared circle, you've seen them in main events throughout the galaxy, the GWF proudly brings to you, from Albiero, at a combined weight of 493 pounds, the team of Blood and Jammer, Defiance!
Defiance get a round of cheers and a small POW chant breaks out. Cordsar seems more than a little peeved by their longer ring introduction. Still, they're a pair of great stars and certainly bring some credibility and visibility to the newborn GWF.
Blood and Trotarus start the bout off. The big Mensan dominated Blood much to Blood's and the fans' mutual surprise.
He worked some holds here and there, but mainly used power moves to put the hurt on Blood. A double arm clothesline led to a near fall.
Blood made a short comeback, but didn't go for a tag and it may have cost him.
Trotarus made come back himself and again a wear-down hold followed by some strikes and power moves led to the MENSAN LOCK! Blood tries to hang on, but he taps out!
The fans are floored by this and not quite sure how to react. Blood looks pissed, but hurt and Trotarus is proud, but not overly so. Cordsar on the other hand is acting like he just won the main event!
Jammer seems to reassure his partner as they head to the back and Cordsar is finally persuaded by his partner to descend the turnbuckle.
Ricken Prince vs. Santon the Loner Santon the Loner defeated Ricken Prince with a SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 6:22 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The next match is a one-on-one contest, one fall to a finish, with a 20 minute time limit.
Coming to you from parts unknown standing 6' 1 1/2” tall at 250 pounds, Santon!
And his opponent also hailing from parts unknown weighing it at 284 pounds and standing 6'6”, Ricken Prince!
Prince gets some recognition for his POW days from the crowd, but it's not quite anything to write home about. Santon got even less, but he did create a bit of a murmur, seems people are interested to know where he comes from, at the very least.
The bell rings and this one gets under way! They square off and then lock up. A suplex from Santon starts the action! The action continued in Santon's favor for a while, but eventually Prince made a comeback.
Santon once again took the upper hand, though and even tossed Prince outside! Santon attempted an axe-handle from the apron, but Prince threw a chair in the way! The ref misses it and we have our first instance of an illegal object getting used!
Prince rolled him in and dropped a crushing knee! Prince played to the crowd and they booed him! Santon got up from the knee, though! Prince send him into the turnbuckle and charged, but the masked man moved! Prince crashes to the mat! Atomic knee drop. Santon picks him up. SPIKE PILEDRIVER! On the big man! The crowd loves it!
1,2,3! Santon picks up the win and has made quite the impression on an initially neutral crowd! He goes to the back with little fanfare, though as Ricken Prince slowly gets to his feet still dazed after the punishing move.
Before the next bout the ring announcer has a special set of introductions.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to introduce to you two men who truly need little to no introduction at all, the founding fathers of the Galaxian Wresting Federation, Morpheus of Aldebaran and Omega of Cetus!
The crowd gives a wonderful ovation for the two men responsible for the evening's proceedings and the main event later in the evening.
MORPHEUS: Don't worry, we're not here to talk your ear off.
OMEGA: But we do have a few announcements that we felt you should hear directly from us. Part of our vision for the GWF is to bring you the very best talent in the universe. We want you fans to have the chance to see the best matches anywhere.
MORPHEUS: That's why it's been my job to try and assemble the greatest wrestling talents in anywhere, anytime. That's why you're seeing names you've seen before.
OMEGA: We recognize the importance of having established stars competing in our rings. We want the best of the best. And we're working towards providing the entire wrestling universe with the measuring stick for professional wrestling!
MORPHEUS: So I find the talent and Omega puts 'em In matches... It's that simple.
OMEGA: And the reason we're here right now is to tell you about a very special signing.
MORPHEUS: There's one man I've wanted to sign since we got the creds to fund the GWF. A man I knew would bring something very different to the GWF. A man you all know from wars in arenas all over. And you will see him in action at the very next card in one month's time... And that man... Is SCREW!
(The crowd can't believe it! There's been rumors that Screw was retired! This is a huge signing for the infant promotion! POW chants are heard again.)
OMEGA: That's right fans! And as the man making the matches... Well, every promotion needs a champion... And the GWF will be no different. In fact, it's my personal passion to make the GWF the most prestigious promotion in all of wrestling! So at our next card, we will hold a 16 man single-elimination tournament in one night to determine the very first GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Champion! And Screw, himself, will be taking part in this tournament.
MORPHEUS: As well as the two of us!
OMEGA: That's right... And let me say, Morpheus, it would be a pleasure to meet you in the finals.
MORPHEUS: As long as I'm there... Well, that's really all that matters.
(Omega looks somewhat disapprovingly on his partner, in business and in the ring. Just as the two are about to leave the ring, though, a disturbance comes from the crowd! It's their opponents for tonite, Dorado Sundown! Bullwhip has a mic.)
BULLWHIP: All we gotta say to you two is this: enjoy the power while you got it... Enjoy the control while you can! 'Cause we... Blacklash and myself... Dorado Sundown! We are taking OVER!
(There's a stare down, the Guardians in the ring, Dorado Sundown at ring side as we cut to an ad for the next monthly GWF show: Crowning a Champion on 10/14/74!)
The Crosscurrents vs. Paladin Power Solar Flare defeated Vortex with a fallaway slam at 14:42 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: The fans are electric with the news as we go to the next match!
This bout is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit.
Coming to you first from the water world of Thalassis at a combined weight of 446 pounds Thetis, Vortex, the Crosscurrents!
The audience gives them a good reaction as they bring a lot of energy to their entrance and slap hands with fans at ring-side.
Their opponents, hailing from Titan, Saturn at a combined weight of 472 pounds the combination of Moonstrike and Solar Flare, Paladin Power!
Paladin Power gets a nice reaction too with a smattering of POW chants.
Moonstrike and Vortex start the action off. Vortex attempted to grab the upper-hand, but Moonstrike caught him with a belly-to-back suplex that gave him control. He wowed the crowd with some signature moves including the Titan Drop!
Vortex was in trouble already and kept trying to make a tag. A superkick had him floored, but finally in position to make a tag and Thetis came in.
They jockeyed for position and Moonstrike got the duke again. He performed so well and the audience was into him the whole time! He even hit a running spear that knocked Thetis out of his boots!
Still, he wasn't impervious and at one point he mounted the top turnbuckle, the crowd was jazzed, it was something they hadn't seen all night! But Thetis met him and suplexed him off the turnbuckle!
He used this chance to go up top himself and met the rising Moonstrike with a diving shoulder block!
There's a tag to Vortex! They shoot Moonstrike into the ropes and hit him with double, running shoulder charges! They call that move WATERY GRAVE and Vortex makes a cover!
He barely gets a two count, though, and Moonstrike is proving it'll take a lot more than that.
Vortex tries to take some more out of him and even goes up top! But Moonstrike has him and slams him off the top to the mat!
PALADIN DROP! Thetis tries to make a save, but Solar Flare stops him! 1,2... SO CLOSE! But Vortex gets the shoulder up! Moonstrike is in disbelief and tags in Solar Flare.
They hit Vortex with a double clothesline and then Solar Flare goes up top for the big headbutt he calls PALADIN MISSILE! Vortex moves though! Solar Flare is hurting!
Vortex makes the tag! WATERY GRAVE again! Vortex keeps Moonstrike from coming in, but Solar Flare is too fresh and gets the shoulder up!
In fact, the Titan battles back! Thetis is able to make a tag, but it doesn't stop Solar Flare from trading holds and staying in the match, in fact Vortex started to look out-classed as Solar Flare kept coming back and having the advantage far more often.
The finish saw Solar Flare hit a succession of hi-impact moves and finally kept Vortex down with a ring-shaking fallaway slam!
Moonstrike came in and quickly raised his partner's hand as the two Titans celebrated and the fans gave all four men a round of applause. The four would shake hands before leaving the ring and that got one of the nicest reactions of the whole night so far.
K.O. Keller vs. Torin Caelum K.O. Keller defeated Torin Caelum with a DQ at 15:46 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: The following contest is a one fall match with a scheduled 30 minute time limit.
First, hailing from parts unknown, a true veteran of the sport, standing 5'11” at 228 pounds, K.O. Keller!
(Keller gets a respectful reaction from the crowd and takes to the ring warming up in the corner.)
And his opponent, one of the great grapplers of the game, at 5'11”, 249, the Sagitta Strangler, Torin Caelum!
(Caelum gets a nice reaction from the crowd and the audience showers him with streamers.)
The ref gives instructions and the bell signals the start of action.
They started with a deliberate pace and Caelum worked the left arm and shoulder over, but Keller came back in a big way! He even hit a KO heart punch!
Still, Caelum came back. He blocked a back suplex attempt and sent Keller into the turnbuckle. He hit with a forearm smash and then locked in the Torin Death Lock! Keller made the ropes, but was stinging from the hold.
The pace is slower than some of the previous bouts, but the audience is on the edge of their seat for it.
Keller was able to turn things around in a big way with a stun gun off the ropes! Keller's flying knee would get a 2 count. In a show of disrespect, Keller stomped on Caelum's chest and then threw him out of the ring!
Caelum got back in on his own, but Keller caught him with THE TEN COUNT! It's the first true explosion of the bout and the audience is floored with Caelum! 1,2, NO! That was the closest count I've ever seen!
Caelum has been busted open over the right eye and a frustrated KO Keller throws him out of the ring again! Caelum makes the count and Keller stays on him!
He pounds the cut above the eye and it's free-flowing. The ref checks on Caelum and Keller drops a falling fist! Caelum rolls outside and it looks like the ref may be thinking about calling this one!
Keller pursues Caelum against the ref's wishes! He goes to whip him into the ring-post! Caelum reverses and sends him in! The ref warns him, but Caelum wraps Keller's left arm around the post and then smashes it across the metal!
The ref and the fans are shocked, but the official does the right thing and calls for a DQ...
Against Torin Caelum!?! Keller had been asking for it, disrespecting Caelum and the official, but it's a shock coming from the Sagitta Strangler!
Keller is holding his arm as the crimson-masked Caelum seems disappointed with himself and the outcome of the match. Could this be the beginning of something?
- 2/3 Falls - The Guardians vs. Dorado Sundown Bullwhip defeated Omega with a TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH at 6:34 Omega defeated Bullwhip with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 14:42 Omega defeated Blacklash with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 50:49 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Ladies and gentlemen it's time for the main event! This is a tag team competition scheduled for the best two out of three falls with a 60 minute time limit!
Introducing first, coming straight to you from Dorado at combined weight of 532 pounds, the team of Blacklash and Bullwhip, Dorado Sundown!
(The fans give these two a ton of heat, especially after their words for the Guardians earlier.)
And their opponents, from Aldebaran and Cetus respectively, at a combined weight of 532 pounds Morpheus and Omega, the Guardians!
(Before the ring announcer can get through the intro the audience gives their loudest ovation of the night and they make their way out ready for action!)
The ref checks in and gives the four men instructions. Blacklash and Omega start the action off.
Omega hit a Cetus Suplex right off the bat to wow the crowd and take Blacklash to the mat! A flying legdrop followed and Omega made a cover! It was too early and Blacklash kicked out, still Omega sent a BIG message in the opening moments!
TOMAHAWK THRUST! A cover! Here comes Bullwhip! Here comes Morpheus! All four men are fighting and it's broken down within minutes! The ref restores order, though and there's no DQ. As the ref escorts Morpheus to the ring apron, Bullwhip and Blacklash double-team Omega! The crowd is hot! The ref sees nothing!
Blacklash makes a tag! RUSTLER'S STAMPEDE!
Omega kicks out, though! Bullwhip hits TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH!
Omega kicks out again! Another TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH! And AGAIN Omega kicks out, but he's in trouble!
Bullwhip hits Omega with some more power moves and then a third TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH!
Morpheus breaks up the count, but one begins to think that the merciful thing would've been to stay out.
A fourth TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH resulted in a pin-fall and the crowd was shocked into silence as Omega was delivered a devastating pin-fall to give Dorado Sundown the advantage!
The second fall began with Bullwhip pressing the advantage. Omega was taking more and more punishment. He got sent into the turnbuckle and Bullwhip came charging. He got him with an elbow and it was enough to hit a backbreaker, stumble to his corner and make the hot tag!
The crowd popped as Morpheus took to the ring. He peppered Bullwhip with forearms and then hit Natural Disaster! He tossed him out of the ring and then suplexed him on the concrete! The crowd loved it!
It took Bullwhip a while to get back to his feet and Morpheus went to grab him, but Bullwhip caught him with a low-blow and the ref missed it!
TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH on Morpheus! 1,2, NO! He gets the shoulder up.
There's more brawling on the outside. Morpheus comes up busted open after hitting the ring-post head first! Dorado Sundown uses solid tag work to get Morpheus worn down even more.
They hit RUSTLER'S STAMPEDE and still he gets the shoulder up!
Bullwhip hits another TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH and fans are shocked at the amount of punishment that Dorado Sundown are dishing out! They're equally shocked that Omega and Morpheus just keep taking it!
A bloody and battered Morpheus finally, somehow makes a comeback and a vicious knee gives him the opening to make a hot tag himself!
Omega comes in and cleans house! The audience goes crazy as he pummels Bullwhip and get a near fall after coming off the top with a picture perfect cross body!
He starts up the COSMIC WAR DANCE and puts Bullwhip down HARD! Cover! 1,2,3!!!! We're tied up 1 apiece as Omega avenges the first fall.
A tombstone out of no where is able to get Bullwhip a chance to make the tag and Blacklash. Bullwhip holds Omega while Blacklash delivers an elbow shot.
Blacklash throws Omega out and thinks he's got the edge, but Omega proves him wrong! He comes back and whips him into the ring steps! He rolls Blacklash in... TOMAHAWK THRUST!
Bullwhip breaks it up, though, and the crowd is hot!
Omega punishes Blacklash some more, but he's able to make a desperation tag down the road and Bullwhip and Omega go at it.
Omega gets the worst of their exchanges, but is able to make the tag and Morpheus comes in and they battle it out.
At one point Bullwhip is sent into the turnbuckle, Morpheus charges in and Bullwhip pulls the ref in front of him!
The ref moves in time, though and lets it slide, possibly because Morpheus hits Bullwhip with a huge lariat! Satanic Skull Smashers, cobra grips, and forearm shots followed as Morpheus tried to tear Bullwhip apart.
His face was a crimson mask and yet he kept dishing out the punishment!
The match would go outside again and they would battle back and forth. Back in the ring a double clothesline had both men flat on their backs!
Morpheus was up first and hit TRIP TO HADES! The crowd goes nuts, but Bullwhip gets a shoulder up! Morpheus is stunned and there's no doubt that this match has taken it's toll!
A Satanic Skull Smasher sends Bullwhip outside and in the ensuing brawl he gets the upper hand!
TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH! This has gotta be it! NO! Morpheus gets a shoulder up and Bullwhip cannot believe it! The fans are going ape as Omega calls for a tag!
More brawling leads to another TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH! And AGAIN Morpheus will not stay down!!!!
Unbelievable! They promised classic action and this is it! Tag is made! Double clothesline!
SUNDOWN by Blacklash! 1,2, NO! Oh my God! How is Morpheus still standing?
Blacklash is PISSED! He beats a nearly out on his feet Morpheus who is already a bloody mess from pillar to post!
Somehow, Morpheus comes back! He makes a tag and the crowd goes NUTS as Omega steps in!
They battled back and forth, each man hitting big moves! Omega ended up getting the edge and even brawled outside the ring with him and Blacklash was busted open after being torpedoed into the barricade at ring-side.
Omega brought him in and hit one of his cross body's from the top! 1,2, shoulder up by Blacklash, though.
The action spills out AGAIN! They're brawling against the ref's wishes and we only have minutes left! Omega wins the brawl and brings it back before the ref calls for the bell! It looks like we could have a time limit draw...
COSMIC WAR DANCE!
1,2,3!!!!
The crowd is ecstatic! This was exhausting! Wow! Welcome to the GWF!
Bullwhip is in the ring! He clocks Omega with a cow-bell!! He clocks Morpheus on the apron! He grabs Blacklash and they beat a retreat before the Guardians can get back to their feet! The fans are stunned, but Omega helps his bloody partner up and the crowd gives them a standing ovation as the very first GWF card comes to a close.

After the inaugural GWF card, the buzz was on and professional wrestling was back! Omega and Morpheus had succeeded on reviving a past-time.
Stories spinning out of the first event included the fans taking to Commander Sam so readily, Blood's surprising loss for his team, the Torin Caelum/K.O. Keller DQ, and the way Dorado Sundown behaved before and after the main event.
Omega has guaranteed Dorado Sundown will not be shown any levity, but, in the interest of promoting wrestling over rivalries right now, the focus will be on the championship tournaments set for the next two cards!
Bullwhip and Blacklash have responded by saying that of course the Guardians would want to focus on business. But that it wouldn't be long until business was theirs.
Torin Caelum issued a formal apology for letting his temper flare and saying his focus is purely on the GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Championship tournament.
Speaking of which, here are the first-round matchups for the card:
GWF Classics #2: Crowning a Champion 10.14.2074 from Deimos, Mars

Some great stuff. I like how you support your undercard. The interplay between Omega and Morpheus in the role of co-statesmen was a nice touch. At this point, they're in this new venture 'together' and share a common purpose. It will be interesting to see how their relationship evolves over time as individual aspirations and competitive ambitions take over. The Guardians vs. Dorado Sundown tag battle had all the makings of a big time event. Your write up was very effective in bringing the action to life.
The Crowning A Champion card looks stacked. If I was a betting man, I'd wager an Omega/Torin/Morpheus/Blacklash four way parlay...and take the money line on Screw!

Thanks a lot for the comments!
LWPD, I'm really excited about all the opportunities for the Classics. Especially with the L-FSCE guys. I already have plans for quite a few of them to really make that under-card strong. And one or two to step into the main event, as well.
In fact I'm already wondering if I won't maybe add a show or two here and there with the possibility of having more talent at my finger-tips.
Love the picks, the results shocked me, we'll have to see what y'all think.

GWF Classics #2: Crowning a Champion 10.14.2074 from Deimos, Mars
- Round 1 - Omega vs. Torpor Omega defeated Torpor with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 15:15 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This is a first round contest scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Entering first, from Cygnus, standing 5'10” at 261 pounds, Torpor!
And his opponent standing 6'1” tall and weighing in at 245 pounds, Omega of Cetus!
The crowd goes wild for Omega and he takes the ring to streamers and cheers. The referee goes over instructions and we're given a close-up shot of the new Galaxian belt in a glass case at ringside. Omega extends his hand to Torpor. Torpor hesitates, but touches hands quickly and the ref call for the bell.
We were treated to an incredible if somewhat one-sided contest! Omega was very methodical in the early goings and really took his time wearing Torpor down. There were no early near-falls and Torpor barely got any offense in.
After the half way point, though, Torpor had some flurries here and there and even put Omega down, but couldn't muster a pin fall attempt. Omega came storming back and hit two COSMIC WAR DANCES in a row, but it wasn't enough! Some more high-impact offense, a TOMAHAWK THRUST, and a third COSMIC WAR DANCE later the man from Cetus had put him away for the 1,2,3.
Some may be a little surprised at the length of this one and the trouble Omega had putting Torpor away, the rest of the night could be interesting.
