GWF News 2-15-75
-Santon the Loner will return on the next card after a brutal attack by Screw following his DQ victory over Ricken Prince. Omega and Morpheus delayed making a call on the post-match action until hearing from Santon. While the rumor mill seems to be indicating that both Prince and Screw were fined for their actions (and further, that Prince payed both of the fines!), it seems that Santon has requested and been given a match at Dorado Showdown against Screw in a "POW" rules match! It's a first for the fledgling federation and something that neither of the founding fathers take lightly, but they agree that with Santon requesting it and Screw readily accepting, that it may be time for the GWF to throw out the rule-book on this rivalry!
-Speaking of the rule-book being thrown out, Commander Sam and KO Keller weren't happy with Paladin Power's actions during their tag team match on the last card. They'll be taking on Solar Flare and Moonstrike, respectively, in singles competition as a result. Sam, especially would like to even the score with a victory over Solar Flare. He's made it clear, though, that he intends on doing it in the ring and by the book.
-In a post-match press conference, Torin Caelum indicated that he would, indeed, seek his rematch against the new champion, Omega, but that he was going to take some time to return to Sagitta for the month and train. Even though he feels he was at his best tonite, he knows he'll need to be better to face the onslaught of the one and only Omega.
-Omega, in his own post-match press conference, welcomed the rematch and felt that they could have an even better bout with Caelum in the challenger's shoes. However, he readily admitted to feeling the pressure of being a double champion after Dorado Sundown's interruption of his post-match celeration. He and Morpheus have already signed on the dotted line to defend the tag team titles in a two out of three falls match at the next card, appropriately titled: Dorado Showdown.

GWF Classics #6: Dorado Showdown 02.24.2075 from Deimos, Mars
The Crosscurrents vs. The Mensans Thetis defeated Trotarus with a double face first suplex at 15:50 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Hoping to build on their momentum from the last card, the Crosscurrents were looking for a win against the Mensans.
The action started off fast and furious between Vortex and Trotarus. The went back and forth for a while, but Vortex built a head of steam and some solid tag work set the stage for a series of nearfalls on the big Mensan! They hit their finisher, WATERY GRAVE multiple times, but Cordsar was able to break up the cover.
Eventually, Trotarus tagged out and Cordsar was able to work over Vortex's knees something awful. He came close to submitting him with a figure four, but the Thalassian wouldn't tap.
Trotarus came back in and continued to work over Vortex, but he came back and some more solid tag work led to a huge double team suplex that pancaked the big man face first and Thetis made the cover for a big win!
Cordsar berated his partner afterwards for the loss and Trotarus, a bit worse for wear, just took it.
Meanwhile, the Crosscurrents celebrated the convincing win in the ring. Damned good tag team action to start the card!
K.O. Keller vs. Moonstrike K.O. Keller defeated Moonstrike with THE TEN COUNT at 8:38 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This one was hot from the start and both men were ready to brawl!
They went back and forth with Keller having the early advantage and scoring a near fall, but Moonstrike came back strong and they brawled in and out of the ring.
Moonstrike even tossed Keller out and taunted him to step back in his ring! Keller came roaring back to life, though and hit Moonstrike with a KO flurry out of no where! He followed it up with THE TEN COUNT and got a hard-fought win.
Afterwards, Keller stood tall and even talked a little trash to Moonstrike. The Titan rolled out of the ring as Keller stood tall.
Blood vs. Torpor Blood defeated Torpor with a SCAR TISSUE at 0:57 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Blood was fired up from the minute he hit the entrance ramp. He needed a win and given his opponent it could happen.
Torpor was taunted by some of the fans and took the ring ready to bring it, but Blood had none of it.
After a brief exchange, Torpor reversed an Irish whip into the turnbuckle and charged Blood in the corner. Blood raised his boots, though, and Torpor went down hard!
Blood locked in SCAR TISSUE for an easy victory!
Jammer vs. Ricken Prince Jammer defeated Ricken Prince with a DQ at 9:10 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Prince was showered with boos on his way to the ring. He's earned a reputation in the infant GWF for being a rule-breaker and strung together a series of losses via DQ.
Jammer's reaction was somewhat tepid as he and Blood have yet to really catch fire other than Blood's initial good showing in the Galaxian Title tournament.
Upon the bell these two jockeyed for position. Jammer had the early upper hand and worked over Prince with his brawling style.
Prince came back, though and they battled back and forth for a while. Prince even hit the ROYAL DECREE, but Jammer was able to kick out. Prince followed it up with a devastating running knee drop, but then the action spilled outside.
Prince tossed Jammer out, but the former POW standout came back and they began a heated brawl outside!
They went back and forth until it looked as though Jammer had the upper hand, but Prince grabbed a chair and waffled Jammer with it!!
The ref called for the immediate DQ! Prince was poised to continue his attack, but Blood made the save armed with a chair of his own!
Commander Sam vs. Solar Flare Commander Sam defeated Solar Flare with a STAR SPANGLED BANNER at 7:51 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This one was a hotly contested bout from beginning to end! Commander Sam got quite the reaction from the fans on his way out. Flare's reaction was decidedly mixed, buth e didn't seem to mind at all.
Sam tried to take control early, but Flare was able to fight back and then they see-sawed the rest of the match.
Lots of brawling. Lots of heated exchanges. It was just a damned good match.
The finish saw Flare come off the top rope, but Sam met him with a dropkick! He then mounted the turnbuckle himself and hit a cross body on Flare for a near fall!
The fans were behind Sam as he signaled for the end and scored a big win with the STAR SPANGLED BANNER!
He exacted the revenge he was looking for after being bloodied at the hands of Paladin Power on the last card.
After the match he offered his hand to the beaten Flare. Solar Flare hesitated and scowled at Sam. He slapped his hand away!! But then he hoisted Sam's arm in the air by the wrist to the cheers of the fan. An interesting and tense exchange that certainly had everyone's attention.
- "POW" Rules - Santon the Loner vs. Screw Screw defeated Santon the Loner with a FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 7:30 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: This grudge match was nearly unsanctioned, but Omega and Morpheus agreed to Santon's request and decided to sanction the bout under "POW" Rules. Or, rather, no rules.
The fans were on the edge their collective seats for this no disqualification bout and it didn't disappoint. There were heated exchanges early as both men worked for the upper hand. Santon punished the big man and was poised to exact a measure of revenge for planting him with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM on the concrete, giving him a concussion.
Screw rallied back, though and at one point the referee was even knocked out as these two tore into one another!
Another ref was soon out as the two men continued battling back and forth.
The action eventually spilled outside and both men took full advantage. Santon slammed Screw into the barricade face first and choked him with an electrical cord. The ref could only watch as he attempted to brutalize Screw further.
Screw, however, was not to be denied and he came back in a big way and put Santon through the announcers table with his finisher!
He rolled a hurting Santon back in and hit another FREAKISH FACE SLAM for good measure and got the win!
After the match Screw grabbed a chain from under the ring and was poised to smash Santon with it when officials and the referee rolled Santon out of harms way.
Screw stood in the ring swinging the chain over his head!
- 2/3 Falls - The Guardians vs. Dorado Sundown for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Bullwhip defeated Omega with a DQ at 14:38 Morpheus defeated Blacklash with a TRIP TO HADES at 26:12 Morpheus defeated Bullwhip with a DQ at 30:40 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: It was time for the main event! The challengers, Dorado Sundown, Blacklash and Bullwhip, made their way out in their normal raucous fashion to a chorus of boos. They stormed the ring and were ready for the champs!
The Guardians came out to a huge pop! They hold all the gold. Not only are they tag team champions, but Omega is, of course, Galaxian champ as well!
You could cut the tension with a knife as Morpheus and Bullwhip started the action off. They went back and forth, feeling one another out trying to get the upper hand.
It was back and forth tag action at it's best! Both teams utilized great teamwork and multiple tags to press short-lived advantages as neither team could keep the upper hand very long.
Eventually, Dorado Sundown began to isolate and work over Morpheus. Bullwhip even tossed him out of the ring and hit a piledriver on the outside! Morpheus was busted wide open, but somehow made it back in before the ten count!
He was able to make a hot tag to Omega and the champ came in and cleaned house! He was fired up at the rule-breakers and decided to fight fire with fire. The ref however refused to give any lee-way and after Omega ignored his warnings and continued to smash Bullwhip into the ring post the ref called for a DQ!!! The fans were hot and so were the competitors as we barrelled into the second fall.
Omega took on both men for the majority of the fall and was handling things pretty well. A tag to Morpheus led to an awesome double team powerslam that saw Omega Irish whip Blacklash into the waiting Morpheus!
The bloodied Morpheus then hit two finishers in a row to put Blacklash away 1, 2, 3 while Omega held Bullwhip off.
The action continued in a furious manner and Blacklash was split open after some stiff shots from Morpheus. Sensing he was in trouble, though, he was able to tag in his Bullwhip.
The action went back and forth between Morpheus and Bullwhip until it spilled outside...
There it devolved into a brutal brawl. Blacklash tossed Bullwhip the cowbell and he smashed Morpheus with it before Omega could interrupt it! The ref called for the bell as all four men continued brawling!
Officials and wrestlers poured out of the back to try and seperate the four men as the fans were on their feet watching the spectacle before them!
The champs retain their titles, but this war is far from over!
Overall Card Rating: 2.91

GWF News 3-16-75
-The biggest story coming off of Dorado Showdown is, of course, the Tag Team Title match between The Guardians and Dorado Sundown. These four men had a heated title bout that saw two of it's three falls end in disqualifications! There's nothing but bad blood between these two teams and the brawl that continued after the DQ finish to their bout has set the stage for a return match! Blacklash and Bullwhip are requesting the bout take place in a two out of three falls Cosmic Cage match! More on this later...
-The young Commander Sam had a big night, defeating Solar Flare for a great win. This promising rookie from Earth is on his way to making his mark in the GWF! Some are even wondering if he might be able to make a run at a title shot before the year is over. He'll need a few more victories under his belt before that becomes a reality, but people are already talking. He's a superstar in the making.
-The Crosscurrents have established themselves as next in line for a tag title shot after two straight, strong wins against Defiance and the Mensans respectively. Of course, before that can happen The Guardians have to settle things with DS.
-Speaking of the Mensans, apparently Cordsar has been doing a lot of complaining in the locker room about wanting better matches and feeling like the Mensans deserve more of a spot-light. It's a dubious claim, obviously, but it's drawn some heat from none other than Blood. He told the young Mensan that you have to earn your spot in the ring and so far he hasn't been able to do that. The youngster responded in kind, telling Blood he should take a look in the mirror if he's looking for a failure in the ring! Blood told him to sign the dotted line anytime and they can have a match. It was at this point Cordsar balked at a singles match, but the Mensans and Defiance will meet in tag team action on the next card!
-Ricken Prince has been taunting Santon and flaunting his rule-breaking ways. After Santon's loss to Screw, it's become a point of pride for the Loner to gain some more momentum and as such a match between Prince and Santon has been signed... POW Rules! Omega was hesitant to grant it, but the fans seemed to enjoy the wild brawl on the last card, and even the founding father got a little hot under the collar during his tag team title bout. Will we see more of this style of action in the future or will these matches evaporate once the scores begin to be settled?
-It has been announced that Torin Caelum will have his rematch against Omega for the Galaxian title at the next card! It will be a two out of three falls classic, to be sure. In the meantime, Omega has promised an answer to Dorado Sundown's challenge on the next card as well. Morpheus, on the other hand, has taken a match with Blacklash on the next card that it sure to be a barn-burner!

GWF Classics #7: Bad Blood Rising 03.24.2075 from Deimos, Mars
Defiance vs. The Mensans Blood defeated Cordsar with a SCAR TISSUE at 4:21 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The Mensans made their way out to a good deal of jeers from the crowd, but again, Crodsar played it off as though he were their hometown hero.
Defiance got a good, if slightly mixed reaction. Blood would start things for his team and he invited Cordsar to join him.
Cordsar, though, didn't seem to want to start this one off, so Trotarus met Blood in the center of the ring and the bell got things under way.
They jockeyed for position, but Blood was able to take control and dictate the pace. It didn't last long, though and Trotarus was able to come back in a big way. He made the tag Cordsar after pummelling Blood for a bit.
It could've been elementary from their, but Blood exploded with a double clothesline on the pair and then started to punish the young Mensan. He kept shouting about respect and eventually applied SCAR TISSUE! Jammer cut off the ring and as Blood kept yelling "Respect!" again and again, Cordsar had no choice but to tap out!
Afterwards, Blood rubbed his hands together and strutted from the ring like he just took out the garbage. Cordsar held his face in his hands as his partner helped him to the back.
Screw vs. K.O. Keller K.O. Keller defeated Screw with a DQ at 4:49 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: This was an interesting match on paper. In spite of a couple losses to former champion, Torin Caelum, K.O. Keller is definitely one of the most dangerous men in the GWF... Then again, so is Screw!
Keller got a decent reaction from the crowd, but Screw... Well, the fans don't know what to make of him just yet.
This one was hotly contested from the minute the bell sounded. Screw seemed to have control, but Keller came back with a heart punch and near fall!
Screw would rally back, though and dished out some punishment to Keller. It see-sawed a bit more until Keller hit another hear punch out of the blue and Screw took to the outside!
Keller made the mistake of pursuing him, but Screw also made a mistake. He took a liberty too many and the referee called for the DQ after Screw smashes Keller with the ring bell!
Screw stood supreme over a laid out Keller. He backed off and made his way to the back as officials helped a dazed Keller to his feet.
Paladin Power vs. The Crosscurrents Vortex defeated Moonstrike with a WATERY GRAVE at 3:51 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The Crosscurrents have built some great momentum coming into this one and are hoping to seal the deal for a title shot with a win of Paladin Power. The fans gave them a nice pop and Paladin Power followed to a bit of a mixed reaction.
Vortex and Moonstrike started things off. Moonstrike took it to him and had him on the ropes in the early going, but a reversal of fortune gave Vortex a near fall and a finisher!
Solar Flare broke up the pin, but Thetis was all over Moonstrike and made a lightning tag for another WATERY GRAVE! Thetis cut the ring off on Flare and Vortex made a cover on Moonstrike for a huge 1, 2, 3!!!
The Crosscurrents celebrated the big win in the ring as the crowd cheered them on. Flare helped his partner up and Moonstrike looked out of it!
- "POW" Rules - Ricken Prince vs. Santon the Loner Ricken Prince defeated Santon the Loner with a BOW TO THE PRINCE at 1:39 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Ricken Prince got a lot of heat from the fans and he soaked it in. Almost as if he enjoyed it! He tried to get the front row to bow to him, but when they wouldn't he laughed in their faces and showed off his jewelry.
Santon got an interesting reaction from the crowd. There were actually quite a few cheers. In spite of his loss to Screw on the previous card, he'd brought an exciting new edge to the GWF.
They got things started and Santon was all over Prince! He had the immediate upper hand and after a hige lariat, Prince rolled out clutching his neck.
The ref went to check on him, but Santon shoved him out of the way only to be met with a chair shot! Prince was playing possum!
Prince then slammed Santon threw a table! The audience was stunned! Prince then, in a dispicable action, used his BOW TO THE PRINCE finisher in a bout that was already "over" to secure a win.
Santon was hurting and Prince was laughing sadistically on his way to the back. Something tells me this one isn't over yet.
Morpheus vs. Blacklash Blacklash defeated Morpheus with a SUNDOWN at 8:17 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Blacklash made his way out in rough and rowdy fashion to considerable heat from the audience!
Morpheus, one half of the tag team champions, drew quite a pop from the fans and had his sights on Blacklash with laser precision.
These two erupted upon the bell and fought back and forth until Blacklash settled into a punishing rhythm. He took it Morpheus and scored a near fall after a Dorado Power Drop, but Morpheus wasn't any where close to finished.
He turned things around and began to give as good as he got. Blacklash was reeling and Morpheus slowed the pace a bit.
Blacklash would make a comeback, though and he eventually tossed Morpheus out of the ring! They brawled at ringside, but Blacklash tossed him into the guardrail and then smashed him head first into the ring steps! The ref allowed it and Blacklash brought it back in, hit SUNDOWN for the 1, 2, 3!
Bullwhip made his way out and it looked as though Dorado Sundown was about to viciously beat Morpheus with a bullwhip, but Omega was out in a flash and he and Morpheus were able to run them off... For now.
Morpheus grabbed a mic. He was hot!
MORPHEUS: Blacklash... You got lucky tonite! You two want a war? You want a war? Inside a cage for these belts! Well, you've pushed and you've pushed! You've got a war!
The fans went crazy, but Omega looked a bit tentative and seemed to say "We should've talked..." to his partner.
Still, it looks as though the first Cosmic Cage match in GWF history has been agreed upon! And it's for the tag team titles!
- 2/3 Falls - Torin Caelum vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Torin Caelum with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 18:47 Torin Caelum defeated Omega with a running bulldog at 10:02 Omega defeated Torin Caelum with an Indian Death Lock at 30:05 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: There was an added layer of tension in the air after the confrontation between Dorado Sundown and the Guardians. Omega was already in the ring and the challenger, Torin Caelum, made his way out to a nice reaction from the crowd.
This one had the potential to be a classic and it did not disappoint.
They went back and forth early on. Each man trying to find a weakness in the other. It was a very methodical pace that built to a HOT exchange! Caelum came out on top and began to work over the champ leading to a variety of submission holds including CAELUM'S GRIP! Not once, but twice!
Omega fended him off, though, and made a comeback! He ended up hitting the COSMIC WAR DANCE but to no avail! He followed it up shortly after with a TOMAHAWK THRUST, but again, Caelum kicked out!
It went back and forth until Caelum hit a running bulldog out of no where for the first fall!
Omega was shocked, but the second fall got off to a hot start and again they went move for move with one another. Omega had the upper hand soon enough though and was able to even up the falls with a TOMAHAWK THRUST!
The final fall was crazy! Both men went to the top multiple times and the action even spilled outside a few times. One spot saw Omega whip Caelum into the corner and charge in, but Caelum moved and Omega went flying head first into the post! He was split wide open and Caelum moved in for the kill! The Sagitta Strangler tried stretching the champ into submission, but Omega would not relent.
Somehow the champion fought back and began to pick apart the challenger! Omega flat out out-wrestled Torin Caelum and moved an abdominal stretch into an Indian Death Lock! Caelum was in the middle of the ring and in excruciating pain. He had no choice but to tap out to the champion!
Omega retains the title and makes a successful defense!
After the match Dorado Sundown ran out and a bandaged Morpheus followed to help his bloody partner, but Blacklash and Bullwhip were too much ended up laying the champions out! They stood with their arms raised over the fallen Guardians as the fans roared at them with boos! Is this a portent of things to come?
Overall Card Rating: 2.42

GWF News 4-15-75
- It's true! The GWF Tag Team Champions, Omega & Morpheus, have officially accepted the challenge of Dorado Sundown. Not only will it be for the GWF Tag Team titles, but ALSO, it will be contested in a Cosmic Cage! Pinfall and submission only! Two out of three falls! This match is huge and the fans are clamoring for it.
- In response to the lack of a clear-cut #1 contender for Omega's Galaxian title, Omega and Morpheus have organized a one night #1 contender's tournament! The participants have been announced as follows: K.O. Keller, Commander Sam, Screw, Santon the Loner, Trotarus, Blood, Moonstrike, and Ricken Prince. The winner will receive a title shot on the following card!
- Screw has been warned about his actions over the past few cards. He already received a fine for his attack on Santon and now his DQ against K.O. Keller. Is this proof that the big man cannot adhere to the GWF's rules? Should he exhibit any of that behavior in the #1 Contender tournament will he face a more severe punishment?
- Rumors are beginning to fly that wrestlers from other organizations may soon be brought in to compete in the GWF! It's no secret that most of the talent currently in the GWF have wrestled in other territories. Is this a step towards expansion? Unification? Both? We'll keep an eye on this story and have more as it develops!
- The Crosscurrents are officially next in line at a tag team title shot. The big question is will they face the current champs, the Guardians, or Dorado Sundown? That question will be answered at Steel Warfare!

GWF Classics #8: Steel Warfare 04.21.2075 from Deimos, Mars
- #1 Contender Tournament - 1st Round - K.O. Keller vs. Trotarus K.O. Keller defeated Trotarus with THE TEN COUNT at 3:02 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: It was announced that these first round bouts would be contested under a 20 minute time limit.
They locked it up and Keller took total control with a series of well placed blows. He whipped the big Mensan into the corner and charged. Now, whether Trotarus grabbed the ref or he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, it was hard to tell, but Keller accidentally clobbered him with a running forearm.
The two continued to fight and Trotarus tried to use the temporary distraction to his advantage, but Keller his a series of vicious blows and had the Mensan on dream street by the time a new ref arrived on the scene.
He downed the big man with a flurry and then as Trotarus was getting to his feet, Keller clocked him with THE TEN COUNT for the 1, 2, 3!
Keller moves on while Trotarus goes to the locker room to shake off the cobwebs.
- #1 Contender Tournament - 1st Round - Commander Sam vs. Ricken Prince Commander Sam defeated Ricken Prince with a DQ at 1:28 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: Commander Sam made his way out to a great reaction from the crowd. This youngster is gaining quite the following already and has picked up some strong wins recently.
Ricken Prince was, as usual, greeted to a chorus of boos and told the fans at ringside they should bow to the Prince!
They locked it up and immediately, Sam took the advantage with an impressive monkey flip. He followed it up an equally impressive Sam's Atomic Drop which saw Prince head for the hills!
Sam, in a rookie mistake, followed him out, but it turned out to be to his advantage in a way. Prince, rulebreaker that he is, took a clipboard from the time-keepers table and smashed Sam in the face with it! The ref called for the bell and Sam moves on via DQ!
Prince didn't look to concerned and luckily Sam didn't look to affected by the blow. It's been an inauspicious beginning to the tournament so far...
- #1 Contender Tournament - 1st Round - Blood vs. Moonstrike Blood defeated Moonstrike with a SCAR TISSUE at 7:46 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This was a great battle that saw both men go hi-impact hoping to make a staement and secure an early victory to move on to the next round.
Blood controlled the early going and nearly upset Moonstrike after a brainbuster! It was too early, though and Moonstrike battled back.
At one point the Titan mounted the turnbuckle, but Blood hit the ropes and Moonstrike tumbled all the way to the outside! The ref was able to keep Blood in the ring as he checked on Moonstrike. The Titan was able to continue and rolled back in.
Blood continued his assault, but Moonstrike kept coming back for offensive flurries of his own. He scored a nearfall after a superkick, but it was not to be his night.
Blood dropped him with a flying tackle from the top rope, then a dropkick to the knee, and finally SCAR TISSUE.
Moonstrike had no choice but to tap out and Blood advances. Good match!
- #1 Contender Tournament - 1st Round - Screw vs. Santon the Loner Screw defeated Santon the Loner with a FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 9:08 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: These two are no strangers and Santon certainly wouldn't have minded getting a piece of Screw!
The big man controlled most of this one and used his power to take it to the Loner. The match actually began methodically with Screw working over Santon's arm and "wrestling" the match. They went back and forth a bit, but Screw too the advantage and pressed it.
At one point Santon tried was going for a slam, but Screw blocked it and press slammed Santon with force right in the middle of the ring! This typified the match. Anytime Santon got something going, Screw came back with a big move to dominate him.
The finish was hot! Santon was going for a slam, but Screw fought him off, ran to the corner and springboarded off with a middle rope clothesline! It was an impressive move that the crowd couldn't help but appreciate. He followed it with a big FREAKISH FACE SLAM and got a convincing 1, 2, 3!
- #1 Contender Tournament - Semi-Final - K.O. Keller vs. Blood K.O. Keller defeated Blood with a roll-up at 9:27 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: These two brought it and went back and forth the whole match. Keller used his boxing skills while Blood worked over Keller's knees and head trying to get him ready for SCAR TISSUE.
He even applied the hold at one point, but Keller was able to fight out of it. The action spilled out of the ring and they brawled at ringside! It was an intense match that see-sawed back and forth. Keller kept coming back and hammering Blood with strikes, but Blood wouldn't stay down.
Blood came back towards the end of a pair of dropkicks to Keller's alreayd weakened knees. He seemed to have control of the match, but as he charged to pound Keller with a tackle in the corner, Keller moved out of the way and Blood hit HARD! Keller capitalized and rolled him up for a 3-count! Keller will move on to the finals. He's no stranger to this position, having taken on former champ Torin Caelum in the finals for the first Galaxian championship.
- #1 Contender Tournament - Semi-Final - Commander Sam vs. Screw Screw defeated Commander Sam with a running power slam at 10:24 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: What a match! Screw tried to dominate the youngster, but Sam kept coming back again and again. He gave Screw a run for his money.
He even hit his Atomic Drop at one point and looked to press his advantage. He'd have flurries of offense, but Screw kept coming back and brutalizing him with power moves.
Eventually, Sam threw Screw into the corner and cahrged. The big man raised a big boot and Sam was reeling! He hit the FREAKISH FACE SLAM, but Sam kicked out!!! Screw was fired up and hit a giant swing followed by a running power slam to finally put the youngster away for the 1, 2, 3.
