GWF Classics #19: Battle for Supremacy 04.06.2076 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - The show opens with a recap of the last card's main event. It was a crazy finish to the Dorado Sundown/Guardians bout that was supposed to be the final match in the feud, but it devolved quickly into an out of control brawl that the referee couldn't control and the officials had no choice but to rule it a no contest!
The Guardians, Omega and Morpheus, announced that they would put it all on the line one last time against Dorado Sundown in a no disqualification, falls count anywhere in the building, 2 out of 3 falls contest at the first ever Galactic Wars!
It was a huge announcement that had every fan on their feet and the implications could shake the GWF to it's core!
Commander Sam was also spotlighted in a video package. Sporting a 5 o'clock shadow and looking a little more bulked up and powerful, he vowed to have learned from his encounters with Omega and Santon the Loner. He threw out a challenge to the latter saying that he was in for a whole new challenge when he steps into the squared circle with the Real American Hero! After their last encounter ended in a scary moment for Sam, there's no doubt he's looking for a measure of revenge, but does he have the savvy to go with the emotion this time around?
Has Sam turned a corner? His hardcore battles over the past 18 months have earned him the respect of the fans and many fellow competitors, but Omega noted a few months ago that he was just short of capitalizing on all his potential. Is his time now? At Galactic Wars we'll find out!
Blood is now officially a singles competitor as his partner Jammer will be out indefinitely from a career threatening knee injury!
The championship committee has been looking at challengers for Omega who is on a 15 month, 5 defense reign. Top contenders include the ever present Torin Caelum, Santon the Loner, and tonite's challenger, Screw! Will any of these men be able to unseat the champ?
Let's get to the action!
Cosmos vs. Torpor Torpor defeated Cosmos with a CYGNUS AIR RAID at 14:20 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Cosmos won his debut match against the also debuting Mimic in great fashion. Torpor has easily been the most lackluster star of the infant GWF. For Cosmos this could be another stepping stone towards greatness, for Torpor it could be a chance to pick up some steam heading into Galactic Wars. Who will triumph?
Cosmos came out of the gate looking to gain an early advantage but he may have been too overzealous. Torpor put him down hard early and then hit his finisher! Cosmos wasn't ready to stay down, tho.
It was clear Torpor was dictating the pace in the early moments and did everything he could to put the rookie away as soon as possible.
He wore him down and scored another CYGNUS AIR RAID, but Cosmos showed great resiliency and they battled back and forth for a bit.
One stunning spot saw both men hit flying forearms! They were both down and the ref admitted a 7 count before Cosmos rose to his feet and readied a running lariat that took Torpor's head off! Still Cosmos was hurting from the beating he took and wasn't quite able to capitalize.
He started picking Torpor apart and hit a variety of hi impact moves to wear him down. He hit a lightning enzugiri and followed it up with a missile dropkick form the top!
THE MASTERDROP! 1...2... NO! Torpor is putting on the best match of his career! Cosmos can't believe it and the rookie is fired up!
Torpor is able to regain control after hitting a heavy knee lift off the ropes. He blasts Cosmos with a flying clothesline off the top, but he goes to the well once too often and Cosmos superplexes him from the top turnbuckle.
Cosmos had control of the match. Torpor was in the corner and cosmos came charging in for a shining wizard, the move that put Mimic away, but Torpor moves! Cosmos is hurting. DDT!
Cosmos rolls out. Torpor goes high risk! Axe handle from the top to the outside! The fans pop big and Cosmos hits the steel head first!!! He's been busted open!
Torpor rolls the rookie in, CYGNUS AIR RAID! 1...2...3! What a great little match. Torpor puts the rookie away. How will he bounce back from defeat? Will Torpor be able to capitalize on this win and build some more victories in 2076?
- The Windriders Debut Match - The Windriders vs. The Crosscurrents Thetis defeated Tano with a WATERY GRAVE at 11:01 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: The Windriders make their debut against the CrossCurrents in a bout that was sure to be hi impact and fast paced.
It was a back and forth affair from the beginning with lots of high energy from all four men. Thetis and Rama started it off and their opening exchange was indicative of the match that followed.
Thetis hit a karate kick and followed it with an attempt at a high cross body, but Rama moved out of the way and leapt up with with backward elbow off the turnbuckle!
He showed off his athleticism and agility with shooting star presses and the Windriders exhibited some great tag work, but the CrossCurrents rallied.
The match's pace never really dwindled and both teams utilized solid tag work on the offense and defense to keep it an even battle.
At one point Rama scored a nearfall after a leaping DDT and then rolled Vortex out of the ring. He went high risk with a suicide dive, but crashed and burned in spectacular fashion!
Vortex couldn't keep the advantage, tho and Rama rallied! He made a hot tag and Tano went for a quick pin after a somersault splash, but Thetis ran in, the ref cut off Rama and Thetis was not only able to break up the pin, but nail Tano with a DDT! He draped Vortex over him! 1...2... NO!
Tag from Vortex! WATERY GRAVE!!! 1,2,3!
The debuting Windriders fall to the CrossCurrents! How will they bounce back at Galactic Wars when they face off with the Mensans? Will the CrossCurrents try to use the momentum from this match to climb to the top of the tag ranks again?
Blood vs. Trotarus Trotarus defeated Blood with a giant swing at 19:28 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Blood certainly has a bone to pick with Trotarus after the big man put his partner, Jammer, on the shelf indefinitely. Trotarus definitely didn't do it maliciously, but the Mensan isn't one to back down from a challenge and this match was sure to be heated.
They started off back and forth with some chain wrestling, but the action quickly spilled outside and the brawl began!
Neither man gave or asked for any quarter and it was a brutal affair. They brawled out of the ring more than in it and risked DQs multiple times. Blood kept coming up with the advantage and out brawled the big man. The crowd was way into this one and it was definitely old school brawling at it's finest. They definitely bent the rules, but neither man broke them.
Both men attempted their finishers, but it wasn't enough to put the other away. After nearly 20 minutes of action Blood had control and whipped Trotarus into the turnbuckle, but the big man moved and Blood went head first into the steel post! He fell out to the floor and Trotarus pursued him. Blood was split from ear to ear and the crowd watched as the crimson flowed freely from the cut!
Trotarus then posted the crimson masked Blood again! He rolled a limp Blood in and hit a giant swing for an easy 1,2,3.
Trotarus stood supreme and his partner ran out to congratulate him as he laughed at the bloody Blood and raised Trotarus' hand.
Moonstrike vs. Morpheus Moonstrike defeated Morpheus with a DQ at 9:23 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: These two are no strangers. They've competed with their respective partners in tag bouts and have had singles bouts as well. The last one ended in a no contest when Dorado Sundown intervened and this rematch was scheduled.
This was a great back and forth affair and both men threw some bombs in the early going. A pair of Titan Drops led to a nearfall for Moonstrike, but the tag champ wasn't out of it yet. He rallied back strong, but a charge into the turnbuckle cost him and he flew over the top and out of the ring to the floor!
It wasn't enough to keep him down, tho and Morpheus came back to hit Natural Disaster at one point.
The action continued in a back and forth style until Morpheus seemed to have control after a huge lariat. He hit a flying clothesline from the top, but the action spilled outside. Moonstrike smashed Morpheus into the ring post!
They brawled at ringside and Morpheus snapped and waffled Moonstrike with a chair! It should be noted the titan had the ring bell in his hands, but Morpheus got there first. However, the ref DQ'd Morpheus and Moonstrike gets a somewhat controversial win.
Torin Caelum vs. Santon the Loner Santon the Loner defeated Torin Caelum with a SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 13:27 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: This bout would definitely have title shot implications. The inaugural GWF champ, Torin Caelum has easily been one of the most consistent competitors in the fed, second only to the current champ, Omega. Santon had a good showing in a recent challenge to the title. Both men certainly want another shot and this match could give them the claim to the position.
It was back and forth from the get go and they wrestled on the mat early on before things got started. Caelum hit a big shoulder breaker early and Santon rolled out. He took the advantage after brawling with Caelum and rolled him and strung together some high impact offense to score a pair of nearfalls! One after an atomic knee drop, the other after a SPIKE PILEDRIVER.
The fighting spirit of Caelum kept him alive, tho. He came back in a big way and stretched Santon with all his big moves and then hit another big shoulder breaker. Was he softening him up for his finisher?
Santon rallied back, but it was short-lived and Caelum hit a beautiful moonsault. He couldn't capitalize, however and missed another attempt later on.
Santon capitalized on this rare error from Caelum and punished him with every big move in his arsenal. He never looked back and got a huge win after a second SPIKE PILEDRIVER!
Caelum looked frustrated, but he offered his hand to Santon and the masked man decided to accept it in a great display of sportsmanship. Will Santon get to challenge the champ again? And who will that champ be? Screw gets his second title shot tonite! In face, he gets it right now!
- 2/3 Falls - Screw vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Screw defeated Omega with a FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 18:31 Omega defeated Screw with a DQ at 20:40 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Screw is making his second challenge for the GWF title against Omega. He earned this shot in a brutal last man standing bout against KO Keller. The championship committee decided that that match was enough to get him to the dance once again.
Omega made his way out to a huge pop from the crowd and the fan-favorite was ready to defend against the freak!
In their last match, Omega was able to win in two straight falls! Would tonite be a different story, tho? Omega has reigned supreme for 15 months now with 5 successful title defenses. He's also the current and two time co-holder of the tag team titles with Morpheus.
This one got off to a hot start with Omega going after Screw, but Screw came right back and went for an early pin after a stiff lariat.
It was too early, tho and the champ would rally back after taking a lot of punishment. He applied the Indian Death Lock in dramatic fashion after catching Screw off the ropes.
The champ picked apart the challenger for a while and scored a nearfall after a flying leg drop.
COSMIC WAR DANCE! 1...2... NO! Screw gets the shoulder up!
Omega pressed his advantage and controlled a good portion of the bout.
Screw came back in a big way after a huge lariat. He used his size and power to lay some big bombs, but the champ wouldn't stay down.
Omega came back, but the action spilled outside and the big man, a vet of many hardcore wars in POW, took the advantage and started to punish the champ again!
Dual lariats saw both men go down hard, but Screw was up first! A nearfall after a giant swing.
Screw followed it up with a running powerslam and the champ was in jeopardy!
FREAKISH FACE SLAM! 1...2...3! Screw gets the precious first fall!
Omega bounces back immediately, tho, and hits a Cetus Suplex to begin the second fall. He's going for the pin like rabid dog to even the playing field. Screw gets the shoulder up.
Backroll press. 1...2... NO! COSMIC WAR DANCE! 1...2... NO! Screw gets the shoulder up!
The action spills outside...
Here comes Ricken Prince! Screw sees him. He's got his scepter raised...
He blasts Omega with it! The ref sees and calls for the bell!
Screw runs after his former partner! He just possible cost him the title! The ref calls for the DQ and this one will end under very controversial circumstances, but Omega will keep the title... He's down on the outside...
HERE COMES DORADO SUNDOWN! They're not even supposed to be in the building! They'll face the Guardians at Galactic Wars in one last battle.
They're going after the champ! Here comes Morpheus! But Blacklash and Bullwhip have a big advantage and they lay out the champs as the fans pelt the outlaws with garbage! What is going on?!?! Will the score finally be settled at Galactic Wars?

Great read as always, Sam. Screw was robbed of the title! Darn that Ricken Prince, I hope Screw gets another opportunity down the road but is seems he will have to dispatch the Prince while Omega focuses on the Dorado Sundown.

It's known that Dorado Sundown have already signed a contract with the Alpha Centauri Wrestling Association so this bout will indeed be the final meeting between these four men. Blacklash and Bullwhip have vowed to take the GWF Tag Team titles with them forever tarnishing the history of this young fed, Omega and Morpheus have promised the fans they will not let that happen. This is the biggest match in GWF history! Who will prevail?
The Windriders vs. The Mensans Trotarus defeated Rama with a MENSAN LOCK at 6:22 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The Windriders suffered a loss in their debut match against the CrossCurrents, but after a backstage confrontation a couple of cards ago, they sparked something of a feud with the Mensans and this match was scheduled before that debut.
Rama and Trotarus started things off and the big man used his power and size to control the early going. The Mensans cut the ring off and isolated the rookie. Cordsar even got a few good hits in.
The Windriders just couldn't get any offense started and Cordsar made a tag to Trotarus that resulted in a lariat/leg sweep combo that had Rama hurting.
Trotarus locked in the MENSAN LOCK and Cordsar cut off Tano! Rama had no choice but to tap out.
The Mensans score a convincing win and Trotarus continues to impress. The Windriders, however, may have to regroup or their rookie year could be a very lackluster affair.
Cosmos vs. Torpor Cosmos defeated Torpor with a knees to gut in corner at 6:42 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Cosmos requested this rematch after coming up short on the last card. Torpor was hoping to sustain some momentum after the win.
Things started off back and forth, but Cosmos kept getting the edge. He worked over the neck and body trying to wear the Cygnusian down.
Torpor was able to make some comebacks, though and at one point a Torpor Throng sent Cosmos out of the ring. Torpor tried a flying elbow drop, but Cosmos moved out of the way and went back to work on wearing Torpor down.
He hit a brutal reverse piledriver and then trapped Torpor in the corner and hit some vicious knees in the corner. Torpor looked like he was out and Cosmos made the cover for a strong win!
The rookie has split wins with the Cygnusian. Will we see the rubber match on the next card?
Blood vs. Torin Caelum Torin Caelum defeated Blood with a roll up at 8:45 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Both of these men were coming off stinging losses and needed the win here in order to reclaim a little ground in the singles rankings.
Caelum has been one of the standout competitors of the past 18 months, capturing the first GWF championship in the finals against KO Keller. Since then he's suffered only a few losses and continued to be one of the best pure wrestlers in the company.
Blood has a mixed record in singles and tag competition but is definitely a fierce competitor in his own right. He's had some big wins, but the loss of his partner, Jammer, to injury has definitely had an effect on him.
They mixed it up early trading blows, but Blood hit a dropkick to the knee that had Caelum reeling. Caelum, tho came back shortly and grabbed an impressive Boston crab by sliding under Blood coming off the ropes.
Caelum pressed his advantage and stretched the former POW standout and even scored a nearfall after a big dropkick.
Blood mounted a comeback and some offense, but Caelum wouldn't be held down! However, he missed a moonsault and Blood took advantage.
It wasn't enough, tho, as the wily Caelum moved out of the way when Blood charged the turnbuckle. Blood hit the steel and Caelum rolled him up for a quick pin.
- POW Rules - Ricken Prince vs. Screw Screw defeated Ricken Prince with a pildriver at 27:03 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This next bout had been brewing for quite a while. Once these two were tag team partners. In fact Ricken Prince paid all the fines that Screw racked up in the very early days of the promotion, but the partnership was still always tenuous at best.
They fought a war with KO Keller and Commander Sam, but things ended in a brutal cage match and Screw walked out on his partner in a rage. Things continued to be rocky and then, on the last card, Prince may very well have cost Screw the Galaxian title!
This match is a POW Rules bout! Anything goes!
To try and describe all of the hard-hitting action in this bout wouldn't do it justice. Both of these big powerhouses through nothing but bombs trying to score a win. It was back and forth for most of the beginning of the bout, but toward the midway point, Prince started to punish Screw in a way that we've never seen!
Prince busted Screw wide open on the outside and then hit BOW TO THE PRINCE! Screw got the shoulder up, tho!
ROYAL DECREE! 1...2... NO! Screw is hurting but he refuses to lie down!

Screw went berserk! Running power slam! Piledriver! A cover! 1...2...3!

Sporting a new look and a new confidence. But would it be enough to bring the fight to Santon the Loner.
The last time these two met Santon delivered multiple Spike Piledrivers to the Real American Hero. Sam had to be stretchered out and there was question as to the condition of his neck, but Sam was back in the gym the next day and has been training hard to prepare for this return bout.
Santon, meanwhile has remained near the top of the card, scoring a victory over Torin Caelum and having legitimate cause to challenge the champ, Omega, again.
Santon came out of the gate with a huge overhead slam and Sam rolled outside to regroup. He came back in and Santon sent him into the ropes, Santon's down for a back body drop, but Sam stops short and delivers a piledriver!
The fans go crazy as the RAH delivers a small measure of revenge!
Santon rolls out and Sam wisely stays in, but Santon drags him out and whips him into the guardrail. He rolls him in and hits a neckbreaker!
Santon would continue to target the neck of Sam, knowing it to be a weak point.
Santon maintained control of the bout for a while. He delivered some combo punches in the corner, but Sam was fired up and reversed him into the corner and hit a stiff left hook!
A pair of slingshot suplexes had Santon reeling. Sam then slowed the pace and controlled the mid point of the match showing an all new savvy over his rival.
They wrestled back and forth, but Santon would get the duke.

GWF Classics #21: Fallout 05.04.2076 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - The show kicks off with footage of the Guardians finally ridding the GWF of Dorado Sundown. As Blacklash and Bullwhip head for the hills, Omega and Morpheus stand triumphant with the tag team titles.
Morpheus raises his partner's hand and then levels him with a lariat! The lariat is shown from multiple angles and in slow motion.
"You've got what I want!" Morpheus says and throws down his tag team title...
Omega stands in the ring, the Galaxian title over his shoulder. His tag belt is conspicuously absent.
OMEGA: At GWF Galactic Wars we saw the end of a nearly two year long feud with Dorado Sundown. A chapter in GWF history was closed... And then my tag team partner and co-founder spit in the face of honor. He spit in the face of history. He spit in the face of the GWF fans! And he spit in the face of the GWF Champion!
You see Morpheus, I've never cared if you liked me. I've never cared if we always saw eye to eye. But we were partners out of respect. We were partners for the sake of a code of honor. And this belt (He hoists the Galaxian title high) was the symbol of that honor, respect, and integrity... So when you leveled me with that lariat... You didn't just assault me! You assaulted the GWF!
Here comes Morpheus dressed in a three piece suit with a smirk across his face.
MORPHEUS: Omega, you can stand there and talk about your prized keywords. The dirtsheets can continue to call this the House That Omega Built, but there is one indisputable fact. You have never given me a title shot. Hell, I've never had a title shot! You on the other hand have only defended the belt, what, 6 times in 15 months?
OMEGA: Morpheus, I can't say I'm shocked by all this, but you should know better! You should know a shot has to be earned! And that's something you've never done! And you know as well as everyone here that not only do I have 90 days to defend this belt, but that we... Yes, WE, have been busy defending the tag team titles! I am fighting champion and I will continue to be a fighting champion!
MORPHEUS: Well, then, let's fight!
Morpheus loosens his tie and takes off his jacket, but officials flood the ringside area.
OMEGA: You want a fight? You'll get your fight! And I will put this belt on the line! But we agreed on a system when we started this. Tonite, I'll face Screw in a rematch. And win or lose, you'll get a match with me, but you remember this, we're still tag team champions and we WILL defend those belts, too! We don't have to like it, but I will not allow you to piss all over what we've created!
Cosmos vs. Torpor Cosmos defeated Torpor with a brainbuster at 6:40 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: This match is the third in a series between these two. The first was a barnburner that saw Torpor squeak by with a victory and the second was a shorter affair with a fired up Cosmos getting a convincing win.
They jockeyed for position early, but the rookie got the advantage and even went for a quick pinfall after a devastating cosmic skull crusher! Torpor got the shoulder up, tho, and the action continued with Cosmos dominating the Cygnusian.
Torpor made a comeback, but it was all too shortlived. In fact as he came charging into the corner, Cosmos dropped down and Torpor went flying from the ring!
Cosmos was fired up and dropped him face first on a ringside chair! Torpor was bleeding and Cosmos rolled him in and hit a huge brainbuster for a convincing victory to take the series 2-1!
The rookie celebrated in the middle of the ring, but it would be fair to say that more than a few fans are wondering where his loyalties lie considering the fracture of his mentors, the Guardians...
- Non-Wrestling Segment - After the opening segment it was announced that Morpheus would indeed have to earn his title shot. A match was announced for tonite against Santon the Loner. The victor would get the next title shot.
Pre-empting his win, Morpheus announced he would take his shot on the next card, however, the championship committee came back with the announcement that should he not win, the Guardians would have to defend their tag team titles against the winner of tonite's Mensans/CrossCurrents bout on the next card instead!
- #1 Contender's Match - The Crosscurrents vs. The Mensans Trotarus defeated Thetis with a MENSAN LOCK at 25:30 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This match was announced as a #1 contender's bout and both teams were eager to prove their worth for a title shot.
Trotarus started things off against Thetis and Thetis brought it big time! A flying leg scissors had the big man reeling and he ducked out of the ring.
Thetis looked like he might have been measuring him for a dive, but Trotarus grabbed him by the leg and slammed his leg around the ring post!
Back inside a pair of lariats scored a nearfall for the Mensans.
The action was fast and furious with lots of tags on defense and offense from the CrossCurrents. They went back and forth for a while with each team controlling sections of the match.
They had a lightning pace that rarely slowed and the fans were into this tag bout big time!
Vortex scored some big moves against the big man including a top rope plunge and a Spinning Vortex.
He tried to work the man's legs and back and it seemed to be a sound strategy, but Trotarus eventually over powered him and regained control.
The CrossCurrents were not to be denied tho and some solid double team work gave them a big advantage!
Not to be outdone the Mensans attempted the double team, but Thetis ducked a double clothesline and brought both men down! WATERY GRAVE! 1...2... NO! Cordsar gets the shoulder up.
Vortex and Cordsar traded moves and went back and forth for a while. Eventually Cordsar made the tag out on defense and Trotarus came in and laid a beating down on Thetis!
He scored a nearfall after a flapjack and it was clear the Thetis was in trouble!
Vortex broke up a MENSAN LOCK, but Trotarus clotheslined him out of the ring and locked it back in! Thetis had no choice but to tap!
The Mensans have a title shot! What a great tag team contest!
Mimic vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Mimic with a SAM'S ATOMIC DROP at 20:18 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This was a solid encounter between two very different styles!
Sam tried to end it quick with is new finisher, but he just hadn't worn Mimic down enough. The next 18 minutes of action were too hot to call!
The went back and forth and utilized every move in their arsenals to try and put the other away.
Mimic was able to superplex Sam from the top when Sam went up for a deathjump, but couldn't capitalize. Even a MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER wasn't enough to put the RAH away!
Both men took a great deal of punishment and found it difficult to capitalize on their big moves. Sam even hit his own pair of superplexes, but they took as much out of him as they did Mimic!
Mimic roared back and ended up hitting a pair of fisherman suplexes, but again couldn't put Sam away.
Mimic was in control and nearly had him after a big spinwheel kick, but Sam ducked outside!
Mimic went over the top with a somersault plancha, but no one was home!
That was the opening Sam needed and he ended up using not one, but SAM'S ATOMIC DROPs to finally secure the win in a hard fought battle that won the fans' appreciation!
Blood vs. Ricken Prince Blood defeated Ricken Prince with a SCAR TISSUE at 2:39 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Ricken Prince suffered a crushing defeat in a brutal bout with Screw at Galactic Wars! He certainly had it coming after costing Screw a fall in his title bout with Omega when he smashed the champ with his scepter.
Blood has definitely been adrift since his partner, Jammer, fell to a bad knee.
This match could be a chance for either man to get something started.
They jockeyed for position early on and Prince got control. A huge Samoan Drop had Blood reeling, but Prince may have made a big mistake by tossing the former POW champ out of the ring!
They brawled all over the ring-side area and the ref threatened to DQ them both!
Blood got the advantage after whipping Prince into the steel ring steps! He rolled him in and hit a big brainbuster!
SCAR TISSUE!!! Prince had no choice but to tap and Blood gets a solid win.
- #1 Contender's Match - Morpheus vs. Santon the Loner Morpheus defeated Santon the Loner with a TRIP TO HADES at 13:37 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: It is shocking that Morpheus has yet to have a title shot, but shots are earned in the GWF and this is his chance going up against a hot Santon the Loner.
Santon could secure a second title shot against Omega with a victory here, but the man from Aldeberran might have quite a bit to say about that.
In the opening moments Morpheus worked some holds before scoring with a nice body drop.
Santon used his speed edge to bounce back, tho and whipped Morpheus into the ropes. Morpheus came off with a back elbow and then hit Natural Disaster!
He spent some time playing to the crowd and then was back on Santon.
Santon, tho was able to come back again and hit a stiff lariat! He scored a nearfall after an atomic knee drop and we have a match on our hands!
They brawled for a while in and out of the ring with Santon taking the constant advantage and scoring another near fall after a neckbreaker.
Santon even hit a slingshot plancha to Morpheus after tossing the tag champ out of the ring.
Santon punished Morpheus big time! He poured all of his hard-hitting offense onto him, but couldn't keep him down. Morpheus has a fire in his eyes, even with the beating he's taking.
Morpheus kept coming back to life, but Santon kept the boots on him! They went back and forth, and still Santon kept him down. At one point Morpheus rolled out of the ring. Santon started to come out, but Morpheus grabbed him by the leg and posted him!
Morpheus rolled in... TRIP TO HADES! 1...2... NO! Somehow Santon gets the shoulder up. Morpheus pours the steam on now! Satanic Skull Smasher! Huge lariat!
Morpheus is on fire! Then he hits not one, but two TRIPs TO HADES to get a solid 1...2...3!
MORPHEUS: Omega! Partner, I'm coming! You better be ready. And I hope you keep that belt tonite! I hope you win big! Because I want your best. I want all you've got. I want to leave no doubts that I am the better man! And it is my destiny to be the Galaxian champ! I will not be denied.
Paladin Power vs. The Windriders Tano defeated Moonstrike with a pinning combo at 11:29 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: The Windriders have had a bumpy debut year. They lost their first two matches to the CrossCurrents and the Mensans, respectively. This shot at redeeming themselves won't be an easy one.
Paladin Power are easily one of the premier tag teams in the GWF and have been closer than anyone else save the Guardians and Dorado Sundown to the tag straps. Would this match be another notch in their belt? And will they be able to challenge for titles soon?
Rama and Solar Flare started things off and jockeyed for position early. Flare shot Rama off into the ropes and the youngster came off with a spectacular flying head scissors! Quick tag... DEIMOS DRIVE!
Rama cuts off Moonstrike, but Tano makes a rookie mistake and fails to hook the leg. Flare kicks out after a long 2.
Tano worked Flare over for a while, but the Titan was able to make a desperation tag to Moonstrike. Still, Tano got control and and eventually made a tag and the Windriders hit stereo flying forearms!
Rama continued to dominate Moonstrike and hit a beautiful springboard elbow! He followed it up soon with a cross body from the top and scored a near fall!
The Windriders are definitely looking better than they have so far. Maybe they've finally got their bearings int he GWF and there was no better time to do it than against the Titans!
Another tag and the Windriders continue to use the double team effectively.
Moonstrike is in trouble and Tano uses a multitude of hi impact hi flying moves to keep him down. Tag and another DEIMOS DRIVER! Here comes Solar Flare! Rama and Tano take to the outside and pursue him, but its another rookie mistake as Flare takes Tano out of the equation and then Moonstrike flies over the top and takes out Rama!
He rolls him back, but he may have taken too much punishment to effectively dole out any of his own. He eventually makes a tag and he and Flare hit a double clothesline. Flare then dishes out big time punishment to Rama!
Rama is in trouble after a top rope leg drop and can't get to his corner to make a tag.
Flare then tosses him out and hits a picture perfect plancha!
He rolls him in and hits a Titan Drop!
Tag followed by a double team neckbreaker! Paladin Power has roared back to life and Rama is in BIG trouble. Moonstrike hits a moonsault. And another! Flying leg drop, but Moonstrike took too much out of himself and Rama finally makes a hot tag!
Tano is in! He goes back and forth with Moonstrike! The fans are hot for this athletic contest. Moonstrike shoots him into the ropes and goes for a sunset flip! Tano grabs the legs in a pinning combo! 1...2...3! What a win!
Paladin Power is shocked and the Windriders are riding high. This match took a lot out of all 4 men and they shake hands after as the audience applauds them.
I have a feeling this is a match we'll see again!
- 2/3 Falls - Omega vs. Screw for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Screw with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 18:31 Screw defeated Omega with a countout at 6:46 Omega defeated Screw with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 21:36 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This return match was granted based on the screwy finish to their last meeting. Omega has been going strong as the champ since January of 2075! That's 463 days!
Screw, on the other hand has been dismantling opponents and leaving bloody bodies on the mat in a wake of terror the likes of which could only come from the behemoth from POW.
Would tonite be the night that Omega is dethroned? Would Screw begin a reign of terror over the GWF? Or would Omega prevail and go on to face his tag team partner and co-founder, Morpheus, for the richest prize in the game?
Things started off fast and furious and Omega had the big man reeling, even slapping on an Indian Death Lock, but Screw took to the outside... Omega wasn't having any of it and pursued him! The went toe to toe on the outside as the ref warned them to get back in the ring. Omega is fired up! Has Morpheus' inevitable betrayal gotten under his skin?
Eventually Screw take the advantage and whips Omega into the steps!
Back inside Screw hits a beautiful flying clothesline and the champ is in trouble.
Screw scored a couple of nearfalls after a pair of middle rope clotheslines. He used power moves and clubbing blows to punish the champ.
They took to the outside again and Screw press slammed the champ on the guardrail! The monster rolled back in and to the crowd's shock, Omega could not answer the count!
Screw picks up the first fall after a countout! And Omega's been busted open!
Somehow, the champ makes a comeback in the second fall! The go back and forth and keep things in the ring and Omega settles into a good pace trying to wear the big man down with a variety of holds and nearly scores a submission with a scorpion death lock.
But not even a COSMIC WAR DANCE can keep Screw down!
Eventually, Omega would hit a Cetus Suplex and then finally a big TOMAHAWK THRUST to even the falls at one a piece!
Both men are feeling the effects of this one. There is no doubt...
Morpheus has made his way out to the ringside area with a chair! He sets it down at the entrance way and takes a seat to watch the final fall! Omega doesn't even pay him any attention, tho...
The final fall was a short back and forth affair with Omega taking the Duke and then hitting two back to back TOMAHAWK THRUSTs to seal the deal and get a convincing 1,2,3!
Omega's hand is raised and Morpheus is applauding from his seat... He hops up and into the ring and points at Omega and then the belt. Omega looks ready, but Morpheus just laughs and leaves the ring as the show comes to a close...

GWF Classics #22: Turning Point 06.08.2076 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Tonite is the night! Morpheus and Omega, the Guardians, the co-founders of the GWF, will explode in a one-on-one 2-out-of-3 falls contest for the richest prize in the game, the GWF Galaxian Championship!
Their relationship has always been a tenuous one at best, but the threat of Dorado Sundown kept them united for the better part of two years. However, once that threat was gone, not even the Galaxian Tag Team titles could keep the two men on even keel.
Morpheus leveled his partner with a lariat after they retained their titles in a final showdown with DS and then made the challenge!
The championship committee forced the co-founder into a #1 contender match against Santon first, tho. It was a match the man from Aldeberran won. And now he takes the fight to Omega to try and become the GWF champion in our main event.
It has also been announced that some new talent will be coming into the territory. Probably on a part-time basis to help strengthen the tag team division and there have even been rumors of another organization's Junior Heavyweight championship being defended on future GWF cards!
It's an exciting time in the GWF as we're half way through 2076! Will we see a new champion tonite? Will their be some new challengers for the tag titles soon? And will the junior heavyweights of the GWF be prepared for a new challenge?
Let's get to the ring...
Cosmos vs. Commander Sam Cosmos defeated Commander Sam with THE MASTERDROP at 6:44 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The rookie, Cosmos, has been impressive, suffering only one defeat since starting his career in the GWF. A loss he more than avenged.
Commander Sam has had his ups and downs lately. He debuted a new finisher and a new look recently, but he hasn't really been able to get much started.
They jockeyed for position early on, Cosmos' agility trumping Sam's, but Sam's power beating out Cosmos.
Sam got the first big advantage after a Commander Slam. The Real American Hero went up top and scored a near fall after a cross body! Something you don't see from Sam very often.
Cosmos wouldn't be put away yet, tho.
Sam hit a superplex that shook the ring and went up top again, but Cosmos stumbled to his feet and caught Sam with a superplex of his own!
Cosmos hit him with a flying clothesline and laid in with some hi impact offense. He worked Sam over with some of his big moves, but Sam came back.
He used his power to beat the rookie down and tossed him out of the ring. They went to brawl on the outside and Cosmos reversed an Irish whip into the guardrail! The ref warned them, but Cosmos posted Sam!
They finally brought it back in and Cosmos was in full control. He called for his finisher and scored a big win after the MASTERDROP!
Cosmos continues to impress while Sam slips again.
Sam walked to the back shaking his head while Cosmos celebrated in the ring.
Jammer, who has taken an interview position while he rehabs his knee comes to the ring with the aid of a cane and a mic in hand.
He asks Cosmos for a comment on the main event between his mentors.
COSMOS: You know, I don't have a lot to say about that, honestly. We're athletes and the spirit of competition runs deep in all of us. At the end of the day that title is the be all end all. Omega has it. Everybody wants it. Simple as that. I know I'll be watching tonite along with everyone else. As for any personal issues between the two... Well, like I said that belt means everything. We'll just have to wait and see.
Moonstrike vs. Tano Moonstrike defeated Tano with a PALADIN DROP at 2:07 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: Moonstrike was looking for a measure of revenge following the loss to the Windriders when Tano caught him off guard and got a pinfall.
Tano started off in control and tried to dictate the pace of the match, but after whipping him into the ropes a rookie mistake cost him big and Moonstrike was able to dispose of him fairly quickly after a PALADIN DROP!
Torin Caelum vs. Santon the Loner Torin Caelum defeated Santon the Loner with a pinning combo at 1:00 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: These two are no strangers and Caelum, a perennial top contender, needed this win to avenge a loss that took him out of the title hunt a few cards back.
Santon came bursting out of the gates trying to score a quick win and targeted Caelum's neck!
He hit a SPIKE PILEDRIVER, but Caelum kicked out. He followed it with a neckbreaker and then shot Caelum off into the ropes.
Santon was caught completely off guard and Caelum used an old school pinning combo that got a shockingly quick 1,2,3!
Ricken Prince vs. Mimic Mimic defeated Ricken Prince with a pinning combo at 0:27 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: This one was a shocker! Prince went for an early pin, but Mimic reversed it and got a quick 1,2,3!
Prince was irate and acted the sore loser after the match. He demanded a "redo", but the ref simply raised Mimic's hand and tried to ignore him.
Prince grabbed a mic.
PRINCE: Wait a minute, wait a minute... I know you don't talk much and that's just fine. I'm used to that after Mr Screw-loose... Which gives me a wonderful idea. What do you say to some cash?
Mimic stares at him blankly.
PRINCE: What I'm getting at here, is I'll give you your due, you beat me, but I see dollar signs with you, kid. If you get my back and tag up with me, you can have your share of some of those dollars. What do you say?
Mimic continues to stare at Prince and then leaves the ring... Ok...
Blood vs. Cordsar Cordsar defeated Blood with a MENSAN LOCK at 9:24 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Blood has wanted to get his hands on Cordsar for a while now. He lost a match to Trotarus, but Cordsar was the one that laughed at his partner's injury and promised to inflict the same to Blood given the chance.
Trotarus accompanied his partner, but Blood had to go it alone. Jammer is in the building, but perhaps wisely decided not to put himself in harm's way at this time.
Cordsar went for Blood right away, but Blood countered and hit some suplexes to control the early goings.
Cordsar tried to start some offense, but Blood was too much for him and hit a trifecta of swinging neckbreakers to the crowds delight.
Blood dominated Cordsar for a while and hit more hi impact moves leading to another swinging neckbreaker! He went for a pin, but Trotarus jumped up on the apron!
Cordsar grabbed the ref's leg and distracted him while Trotarus chokeslammed Blood!
Both men were down, but somehow Blood managed to get to his feet first! Still, he was not in good shape.
Cordsar came back and then showed his sadistic side by targeting Blood's knee! He laid some heavy kicks on it and applied the MENSAN LOCK!
Blood wouldn't tap, but he was limping heavily when he got up... Things didn't look good.
Eventually Cordsar was able to cinch in the MENSAN LOCK again and Blood, try tho he might, had to tap out or risk his partner's fate...
Cordsar jumped around the ring in victory. A victory he definitely owed in part to his partner. Something tells me this feud is just beginning and when Jammer returns things will definitely change...
- 2/3 Falls - Morpheus vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Morpheus defeated Omega with a TRIP TO HADES at 1:45 Morpheus defeated Omega with a DQ at 6:49 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: This was going to be an intense bout. There was no doubt about it.
Morpheus was mostly booed on his entrance, but he didn't seem to care. He looked ready for a fight!
Omega got a huge pop and came to the ring looking all business.
Omega sought to wear his partner down early on, but Morpheus came back in a big way hitting a huge lariat from no where!
Nearfall! TRIP TO HADES! 1...2...3!!! Morpheus gets a quick first fall and the champ is in trouble!
The second fall starts with Morpheus slowing the pace. He knows he got lucky with the first fall and is now trying to wear Omega down. He's taking his time. Dictating the pace. Morpheus, the ring general.
Omega comes back and they're chain wrestling. The crowd is on the edge of their seats wondering who will get the advantage.
Omega takes it and hits a belly to belly slam!
But Morpheus comes back big! Natural Disaster leads to TRIP TO HADES! Again! 1...2... NO! Omega kicks out!
The crowd goes nuts!
Morpheus with a Satanic Skull Smasher! But Omega is still in it and comes off the ropes with an awesome sunset flip! 1...2... NO!
Omega has control and he's on fire! Flying leg drop!
Morpheus wisely rolls out of the ring, but Omega pursues him!
They're fighting near the announce table, battling over a chair. Omega has it! The ref warns him, but Morpheus grabs one of his own! Behind the ref's back he starts to swing and Omega reflexively swings his and catches Morpheus in the arm!
The ref calls for the bell! It's a DQ! On Omega!!! The fans are livid! The ref never saw Morpheus swing his chair!
Morpheus takes the match! But the belt can't change hands on a DQ! Morpheus is almost as pissed as the fans!
What will happen? Will Morpheus get a rematch? What a crazy controversial finish!

GWF Classics #23: Broken Alliance 07.13.2076 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - We open, of course, with highlights of the championship match from last month's card. Morpheus took fall one after TRIP TO HADES and seemed to be building to another quick fall when Omega took over, but then the action spilled out and it ended in a DQ against Omega!
Morpheus' music hits and he comes out to a decidedly mixed reaction, tho it's clear that there's more hate for him in the building than not...
MORPHEUS: I want to keep this short and simple... Omega, I pinned you with a trip to Hades in under two minutes. I had the first fall over you. And then, well, let's face it tensions were running high, we both swung some chairs. I'll admit I was guilty, too. But life ain't fair and neither is this galaxy, so the ref saw you and that was that... But you got to keep your precious title. The richest prize in the game. Now you and I both know this is far from over, but tonite we've gotta lace up the boots and stand on the same side of the ring to defend the tag team titles. It's a crazy universe and you and me are tied together like the laces on those boots.
But when the dust settles and all is said and done whether we have those belts or not, you'll still have the one thing I want more than anything else. The Galaxian Championship. And I still deserve to wear it. And I will have my rematch! But seeing as how things got a little out of hand last time around I think we can both agree that we need to keep it in the ring. We need to finish it right here in this squared circle. And the only way I know how to do that is to put a 15 foot high cosmic cage around it! Ball's in your court, champ. I'll be waiting for your answer.
What a challenge? Morpheus spoke truth and even the fans against him have to want to see that match. Will Omega accept? It seems a forgone conclusion that he will but until we hear from the champ, who knows? Will they be able to maintain as a team and successfully defend their tag titles against the number one contenders tonite? Trotarus and Cordsar, the Mensans will definitely be bringing it and they are riding high from a series of strong wins. We'll find out the answers to all this and more in our main event of the evening, but first...
The Windriders vs. Paladin Power Moonstrike defeated Tano with a DQ at 7:33 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Stemming from The Windriders big win (and their first in the GWF) over Paladin Power we get this rematch.
Paladin Power have easily been one of the headliners of the tag division coming just short of being the tag champs.
The Windriders have been off to a rocky start, tho there is no denying the talent they have in the ring.
Rama and Moonstrike start the match off and an early misstep from Rama set the tone of the match. Moonstrike laid in hi-impact moves and was looking to make a statement.
The Titans used the double team a couple of times and wore down Rama as Tano could only watch from the apron.
At one point Moonstrike hit a suicide dive that put both their bodies through a car wreck.
Flare hit a pair of tombstone piledrivers and looked like it was all over, but Rama finally made a desperation tag to Tano!
Tano came in, but Flare made a quick tag and Moonstrike took the fight to the other Windrider! He is on fire tonite!
Nearfall after a flying leg scissors... Moonstrike points up top... Picture perfect moonsault! He hooks the leg! 1... 2...
Rama just pulled the ref out of the ring! The fans are hot! The ref is warning Tano. Tano is doing some trash talking and has the ref by the shirt!! He lets the ref go and he falls back into the apron!
The ref is hot and calls for the DQ!
Temper, temper, Tano...
Paladin Power don't seem satisfied with this win. Will we see another match with these four soon?
K.O. Keller vs. Blood Blood defeated K.O. Keller with a SCAR TISSUE at 3:25 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Keller has been laying low after a bloody and brutal feud with Screw & Ricken Prince came to a close. He's a former #1 contender and faced Torin Caelum in the finals to determine our first GWF champ nearly 2 years ago.
Blood has been adrift since his partner Jammer was put on the shelf due to a knee injury.
A win for either man would be a big step in the right direction.
They jockeyed for postion early on with neither man getting a real edge.
Eventually, Keller evaded a bulldog and hit Blood with a KO Flurry, but Blood would still come back.
However a heart punch from Keller sent Blood out of the ring and it looked like Keller was in full control...
But Blood caught a kick and spun Keller around into a game changing swinging neckbreaker! Nearfall!
SCAR TISSUE! SCAR TISSUE! Keller is in pain and Blood has got it locked in! Keller taps! Keller taps!
Blood scored a big victory in a match that changed on a dime.
Santon the Loner vs. Cosmos Santon the Loner defeated Cosmos with a SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 4:46 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The rookie, Cosmos, would be facing his biggest challenge yet against Santon, the Loner.
Santon has been a stiff competitor in the GWF from the very get go. He's got an impressive string of wins just coming up short in a couple of challenges at the champ, Omega.
They jockeyed for position early on before Cosmos got the duke off a reversal and then wisely tried to dictate the pace with some wear-down holds.
Santon was reeling and the action spilled out of the ring with Cosmos almost surprisingly pursuing him and equally surprisingly getting the better of Santon on the outside!
Back in, Cosmos continued to work on wearing him down, but he rose out of a chinlock, shot Cosmos into the ropes and put the rookie down with a big dropkick that caught him on the chin!
Cosmos is in trouble! Neckbreaker! Flying clothesline form the top! SPIKE PILEDRIVER! 1,2,3!
Santon gets the win out of nowhere and Cosmos is holding his neck as he gets to his feet with the aid of the ropes.
He looked good early, but maybe his tentativeness cost him in the end.
Commander Sam vs. Mimic Mimic defeated Commander Sam with a fisherman's suplex at 19:22 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Sam has had trouble over the past six months or so and this match would be a test over an opponent that nearly defeated him a couple of cards ago. He needs this win after a loss to the rookie, Cosmos.
Mimic's agility really gave him an edge at times, but Sam used his strength and size advantage to dominate most of the match!
The action was mostly Sam pounding on the newcomer, but Mimic just took it and responded with flurries of hi impact offense here and there.
At one point it looked like Sam had it all wrapped up. He hit a succession of big bombs and followed it up with a series of nearfalls, but shockingly, Mimic would not stay down!
A spinwheel kick out of nowhere nearly gave Mimic the victory, but the Real American Hero wouldn't stay down!
Sam came back and ended up hitting another slingshot suplex, but Mimic came back again in the corner, lifting a knee to the oncoming Sam.
He followed an elbow drop with a big time fisherman's suplex and got the 1,2,3!
Sam was in shock and dismayed at the outcome, but Mimic came to play and it was a great hard-fought win.
Torin Caelum vs. Screw Screw defeated Torin Caelum with a FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 17:34 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: This was a damned good match that showed both men at their best!
It could've gone either way.
Torin Caelum out-wrestled him in the beginning, but Screw would come back every now and again with some brute force.
Caelum, tho, ever the technician kepts dictating the pace and pulling off big moves and stringing together strong offense to keep the big man down.
At one point it looked like Caelum would score the win. He scored a series of nearfalls with a moonsault, shoulderbreaker, and even applied CAELUM'S GRIP! But Screw would not stay down!
He came back from near-defeat big time and scored a nearfall of his own after a big FREAKISH FACE SLAM!
Caelum would not stay down, tho!
The fans were on their feet and the two competitors gave them a hell of a show!
The finishing stretch saw Caelum score big with another moonsault, but Screw would not be denied!
He came back and hit a big press slam!
Caelum was in trouble and Screw hit his finisher again for a solid, hard fought pinfall!
- 2/3 Falls - The Mensans vs. The Guardians for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Omega defeated Trotarus with a lariat at 2:12 Morpheus defeated Trotarus with a TRIP TO HADES at 9:25 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The champs made separate ring entrances and Morpheus stood on the apron telling the champ to go ahead and start things off "see if you can get the job done."
Trotarus and Omega locked up and the early going was furious. Omega was whipped into the corner, but he moved and Trotarus tumbled outside!
They brawled around the ring with Morpheus applauding his partner's fire. Omega is definitely a more aggressive person in the past 6 months or so. It began with Dorado Sundown and has carried over now that his partner has challenged him.
Omega had control and rolled him in. He scored a nearfall after a backroll press. Morpheus shook his head. Judging his partner all the way.
Omega slowed the pace slight, but then hit a huge TOMAHAWK THRUST!
Cordsar breaks up the pin and while the ref escorts him out, Morpheus jumps in and hits TRIP TO HADES!!!
Omega is hot, but his partner just points and says "PIN HIM!"
Omega, not being a fool, does just that and gets the 1,2,3... First fall goes to the champs.
Morpheus and Cordsar start the second fall and it's almost all Morpheus.
A pair of Natural Disasters had the Mensan reeling. But Cordsar caught Morpheus off guard with a lariat of his own out of the corner!
He made a quick tag to Trotarus and they hit a devastating combo lariat/leg sweep! Morpheus was seeminly in trouble, but it didn't last. He came back and he came back huge!
He even dropped the elbow from the top and then hit TRIP TO HADES on the big man to seal the win!
The Guardians are still champs!
Morpheus has a mic...
MORPHEUS: So champ, what'll it be? You man enough to face me in the cage?
OMEGA: Your greed and corruption knows no bounds, does it? I knew it wouldn't be easy to trust you. I knew it wouldn't be easy to for this partnership. But we did it. We did it for the greater good. And now I stand here and know. I know that we have to stand on opposite sides. Yet here we are. Tag team champions. And I don't know what to do. I don't know if we should dissolve this team and give up these titles. I don't know if we should keep going until we lose them. I don't know a lot right now. But one thing I do know, Morpheus. One thing I know about you. You won't stop until you have the proof. The proof that I am the better man. That I am the GWF Champion! That I will beat you! And, yes, I will do it in a cage!
With that Morpheus goes for the lariat, but Omega ducks! Morpheus off the ropes and right into a TOMAHAWK THRUST! He is down and the fans go crazy! We've got a cage match main event in our future for all the marbles! Right now the champ stands tall. Will the picture be the same after these two meet in a cosmic cage?

GWF Classics #24: Cosmic Collision 08.17.2076 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Tonite is the night! Morpheus will challenge the GWF champion in a Cosmic Cage Match for the Galaxian Championship!
But that's not the only big news for the evening! When the GWF began in late 2074 no one could've anticipated the reaction through the stars to the return of professional wrestling! Over 50 organizations cropped up upon the initial announcement, some even opening their doors prior to the GWF's first card.
Over the past two years some of these companies have risen to the top along with the GWF, while others failed. Recognizing the nearly universal market for pro wrestling and wanting to stoke the flames of the competition in and out of the ring, the Universal Wrestling Alliance was born! Not seeking to govern or replace the prestige already grown by the booming GWF, the UWA only sought to instigate and promote talent exchanges between companies and perhaps allow for champions to fight in other territories.
The UWA has been a big hit and it is the GWF's pleasure to announce a working partnership with the UWA and it's territories!
Starting tonite we will see the UWA crown a new champion in the Jr Heavyweight division! In fact, that match starts now!
- -Special Attraction UWA Junior Heavyweight Championship Final- - El Demonico vs. El Virtuoso for the UWA Junior Heavyweight Championship El Virtuoso defeated El Demonico with an EL VIRTUOSO at 12:00 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: This special attraction match came right on the heels of the big announcement at the top of the show. These two Jr. Heavyweight talents have made it to the finals for the most prestigious lightweight title in existence.
El Virtuoso comes by way of the AGA (Achernarian Grappling Arts) and follows in the rich history of Earth's Lucha Libre style. He spent most of 2075 in training after suffering a defeat on Earth and returned a changed man. He's been a top star for other territories and the UWA recognized his talent and passion. They granted him a spot in the Jr. Heavyweight tournament. A tournament he has ridden all the way to the finals.
El Demonico is the man El Virtuoso must get past is he hopes to win the tournament and take the title. Coming by way of the Southern Style Road and a member of the House of Blood stable, Demonico may be the most well-rounded of the Jr Heavyweights to compete in the tournament and that skill has brought him to the dance.
This one would be for the history books!
They jockeyed for position as the bell rang and Virtuoso shot Demonico into the ropes! Huge double lariats! Both men are down and we're only seconds into the match! What a display of passion and brute force!
Virtuoso barely rises first and takes Demonico over with a deep arm drag and then another!
It's all Virtuoso in the early going, he even scores a nearfall after Demonico hits the turnbuckle.
Virtuoso also gets the first hi spot of the match with a huge plancha from the top rope to the outside! Demonico is hurting big.
However, the House of Blood member survives a Tornillo armbar and makes a comeback with an arm drag of his own.
He even scores a nearfall after a spinning missile dropkick!
Demonico Especial!!! Still not enough, tho. Demonico used some hi impact offense including a hurracanrana and a Tope Con Hilo, but it wasn't enough.
Virtuoso came back big after being shot into the ropes and hit a big flying knee to the face only to follow it with the Tope de Cristo!
Demonico was in big trouble! ESPECIAL VIRTUOSO! Demonico struggles, but he's taken too much punishment and taps out!
El Virtuoso gets the win in a great match!
This will definitely not be the last we see of these competitors in the GWF. Maybe one of the GWF's own light heavyweight competitors will make a challenge for the title belt in the future.
K.O. Keller vs. Blood K.O. Keller defeated Blood with THE TEN COUNT at 3:36 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: These two had a good match on the last card that resulted in Blood getting a win with his finisher. Keller wanted another shot and the battle of the tough guys was on.
This match was very different in pace and style from their last. It was clear that Keller was seeking to use his strikes, while Blood was content to utilize a variety of holds. It played out more like an MMA match more than the pro wrestling brawl that their last match was.
Blood held the advantage for a good portion of the bout, but Keller came back with a huge right cross and then followed it up with THE TEN COUNT for the 1, 2, 3 out of nowhere!
Blood was slow to get to his feet, but Keller offered his hand after the match... Blood hesitated, but eventually shook his hand. He didn't let go when Keller tried to, tho... It looked like he asked for another match! Keller took his time, but nodded before the tense handshake finally came to an end.
Screw vs. Santon the Loner Santon the Loner defeated Screw with a DQ at 12:40 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: These two are no strangers and both men have been top contenders to the title. However, they're probably more known for their rowdy ways in and out of the ring.
They battled back and forth early on with Santon getting the first big move of the match with an atomic knee drop that sent Screw rolling outside. Santon chose not to follow and Screw only got a short respite, but it must have been enough as he came back a few holds later and scored with a piledriver!
Screw went for broke and hit a huge flying clothesline from the top! He tried to capitalize, but Santon still had some fight left in him and forced Screw to slow his offense, tho he did score with a big time lariat at one point!
Santon came back and they continued to go hold for hold and move for move with neither man really having an edge.
Eventually, Screw scored big with a middle rope clothesline that sent Santon out of the ring around the 12 minute mark. He pursued Santon and ended up deciding to go the low road with a chair! The ref saw everything, tho, and DQ'd the big man on the spot!
Paladin Power vs. The Mensans Moonstrike defeated Trotarus with a PALADIN DROP at 4:49 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The Mensans came up short in their challenge to the tag titles against the Guardians and this match could be their shot at redemption and possibly another chance. Paladin Power, on the other hand, could get back into the title hunt with a win here, in fact it could lead to a shot of their own... If, of course, the champs don't finish their implosion with total disintegration and leave the titles vacant. It's a miracle they haven't already.
Solar Flare and Trotarus started the action off (in fact, I don't think Cordsar has ever started a match off for his team...).
Trotarus used his size and power to get the advantage and hit a big flap jack followed by a spinebuster! Flare mounted a comeback, and made a quick tag allowing them to hit a double team clothesline that took the big man off his feet!
Moonstrike worked him over, but Trotarus reversed and Irish whip into the corner and hit a running clothesline. He sought to follow it up with another lariat, but Moonstrike ducked and hit a superkick!
Trotarus was on dream street and Moonstrike hit the PALADIN DROP to secure the 1, 2, 3!
Paladin Power are easily back on the top of the tag ranks with that quick win!
Ricken Prince vs. Torin Caelum Torin Caelum defeated Ricken Prince with a CAELUM'S GRIP at 2:06 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Torin Caelum, the first GWF champ, has struggled recently. He's picked up some wins, but he's had some defeats. That's the name of the game in the stiff GWF competition.
Ricken Prince has laid low after suffering a brutal defeat against Screw in a POW rules match a few cards ago. This would be a chance for either man to start building some momentum.
Torin came out on fire and transitioned from a chicken wing into the Torin Death Lock. Prince was in pain and the move definitely wore him down.
Caelum then changed the pace on a dime and went hi impact! He hit not one, but two moonsaults and then stretched the Prince a little more before applying CAELUM'S GRIP to score a quick win!
Commander Sam vs. Mimic Mimic defeated Commander Sam with a MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER at 5:16 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: This would be the third meeting between these two in the past few months. Sam got the win in a stellar 20+ minute match the first time, but Mimic took the duke in their second bout. A match that also went nearly 20 minutes. One thing is for sure they put on a couple of great bouts.
They went back and forth early on with Mimic's agility taking the first advantage and Sam's power taking the later advantage. Even tho he's a newcomer, Mimic is evenly matched with the brawler.
Sam would go hi impact and a pair of double fists had the mime in trouble. Sam went up top and hit a top rope flying clothesline! The move seemed to take some out of Sam, too, tho...
Mimic came back, but Sam came back from that and applied a choke hold... Mimic was able to shoot Sam into the ropes, tho and hit a version of the STAR SPANGLED BANNER! He then applied the MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER and Sam couldn't hold on!
Mimic put the Real American Hero to sleep to score the win and take the series 2-1! This is a big win for the rookie! Again!
- -2/3 Falls Cosmic Cage Match- - Omega vs. Morpheus for the Galaxian Championship Morpheus defeated Omega with a pinning combo at 4:22 Omega defeated Morpheus with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 3:31 Omega defeated Morpheus with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 9:27 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: This was going to be a hot match no doubt about it! The tension between the co-founders and Guardians of the GWF has been growing for over a year at least.
Morpheus decided to light the fire of the feud when he turned on Omega after their historic win over Dorado Sundown.
Their first contest ended in a disqualification victory for Morpheus after tempers flared. Morpheus asked for the battle inside the steel and now things are about to explode inside the cosmic cage!
They went back and forth early on with Omega leading the way, but Morpheus used his power to put the champ down!
No sooner than that had happened, tho, and Omega hit a Cetus Suplex out of nowhere!
He built up a head of steam and hit a COSMIC WAR DANCE and followed it with a TOMAHAWK THRUST to score the first fall in a short amount of time!
Morpheus was hurting, but he was also pissed! Omega came back at him in the second fall, but Morpheus didn't look phased and he countered a sunset flip with his own pin combo and got the 1, 2, 3! Some could swear he was holding the tights, but it wouldn't matter, anything goes in the cage...
We're even at 1 fall a piece and we've barely cracked the 5 minute mark!
They went back and forth with Morpheus taking the power advantage and hitting a stiff lariat followed by Natural Disaster!
But the champ came back in the corner and lifted a knee! He stopped the onslaught of Morpheus in champion style and locked in an abdominal stretch to work over the challenger and then transitioned to an Indian Death Lock! Morpheus was in big trouble... COSMIC WAR DANCE!
1... 2... 3! Omega wins inside the cage!
Morpheus is up, though... He blindsides the champ from behind and begins pounding on him! He tosses him into all four sides of the cage and the champ is a bloody mess!
He drops a knee from the corner and then grabs the belt...
"It's mine! It's MINE! You got lucky, Omega!"
We fade to black as Morpheus stand above the bloody champion with the title belt held high...

Chucho Morales and El Virtuoso vs. El Demonico and Venomous Venomous defeated Chucho Morales with a WIDOW MAKER at 23:51 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This opening tag bout sees the GWF debuts of two new talents!
The UWA Jr. Heavyweight champion, El Virtuoso is partnered up with Chucho Morales to face the team of El Demonico and Venomous!
Morales comes to us by way of La Paz, Bolivia on Earth and has spent a considerable amount of his time and wealth training and promoting for wrestling. He's said to be a crafty technician in the ring with a magnetic and big personality outside. His teaming up with El Virtuoso could take him far and there's not doubt that these two could be a dangerous combo in the tag division of any weight class.
Coming from Scorpius and the Wrestling Stars of Spinne promotion is Venomous! A member of the royalty there this cunning, agile technician brings his considerable skills to the GWF to team with a like-minded individual in El Demonico. These two could also go far.
Of course, there's also the notion that either of these newcomers could be potential challengers for El Virtuoso's UWA Jr Heavyweight title!
Morales and Demonico got the action started off and it was fast a furious form the opening bell.
Demonico tried to follow an arm drag up with a leg drop, but nobody was home and Morales caught him with an exploder suplex!
A quick tag brought the champ in and the double team secured the advantage for Virtuoso.
The action was fantastic and went back and forth multiple times and both teams used excellent tag work to keep the momentum going in their respective directions when they could.
Venomous put his considerable talents on display against the champ and at one point speared him out of the ring with his Hunting Spider maneuver. He followed it up with a suicide dive that had both competitors hurting, but the mane from Scorpius was up first and made a wise tag to Demonico.
Demonico scored a few nearfalls, but the champ kept coming back! Chucho Morales was tagged in and took the fight to the assassin! The action spilled outside and we saw some brawling from the Earth native. He even hit the Silver Slice on the floor!
He made an error back in the ring, tho and Demonico took advantage.
It was still a back and forth affair and all four men had a chance to shine with plenty of excellent, top notch wrestling action including mat work, power moves, hi spots, and more!
Morales hit BOLIVIAN RHAPSODY on Demonico after being rescued from a DEMONICO BOMB by his partner, but Venomous made the save and the bout continued! There were easily around 9 pinfall or submission attempts made, but the match kept going! One wondered if the 30 minute time limit would expire!
The finish came after a hurting champ tagged in his partner and Morales took it to Venomous! A Silver Slice scored another nearfall! Chucho went up top, but the spider rushed him and suplexed him off in a big way! WIDOW MAKER!!!
Virtuoso can't make the save! 1...2...3!
What a match! the crowd was hot the whole way through and the final five minutes were amazing. The new talent from other territories continues to impress!
The Windriders vs. The Mensans Cordsar defeated Rama with a MENSAN LOCK at 4:54 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: On the heels of the last match, it's worth noting that three of the four competitors in this tag bout qualify for the Jr weight class, Cordsar, Rama, and Tano.
This is not the first meeting between these two teams. They met at Galactic Wars after words had been exchanged backstage on the Windriders' debut night.
Trotarus forced Rama to submit with the MENSAN LOCK and the newcomers have admittedly struggle to find solid ground, tho they did score an impressive win over Paladin Power a few cards back.
Rama and Trotarus started the match off and looking like he had a lot to prove, Rama brought it big time! He even scored an early nearfall after a leaping DDT!
The Windriders worked the double team, but Trotarus used his size and strength to take the advantage, but Tano made a defensive tag and Rama was back in. Again, tho, the big Mensan used his strength advantage to take control.
Cordsar came in on the offensive and Trotarus held Rama in a single leg crab while Cordsar hit a sliding dropkick to the knee! What a brutal move!
Cordsar was in full control and applied the MENSAN LOCK, but here comes a hot Tano! We've got a pier sixer in the ring! The ref threatens DQ and Tano leaves, perhaps showing a little growth after his temper flare cost them a match against Paladin Power...
Cordsar maintained control and used some strong offense that targeted the legs to keep Rama down. He locked in the MENSAN LOCK again and this time Tano couldn't make the save. A pained Rama had no choice but to tap!
Cordsar has a mic...
CORDSAR: These punks don't even deserve to be in a GWF ring! (boos) In fact, I saw four other punks that SHOULDN'T be in a GWF ring right before our match! (are you kidding me?) That's right, this so called UWA and their 'junior' heavyweights... What a joke? In fact, I'll lay out an open challenge right now! If any of those four punks think they can best me, bring it on. I'll take you out at the knees and make you tap! And sooner or later, cause it's only a matter of time before I am the UWA Jr Heavyweight champ!
Trotarus stands behind his partner as Cordsar strikes a pose. In aisle, Tano has a mic!
TANO: Cordsar! You can flap your jaw all you want, but these Deimos fans know! (big pop) And I know! You're nothing but a coward! I won't say you can't wrestle, but everyone knows you hide behind that big man in the ring with you! So what do you say you and I get in the ring one-on-one and see if you have what it takes to challenge for that jr title? If you have the guts, of course!
Well, there you have it, two GWF stars are officially throwing their hats in the ring to go after the UWA Jr Heavyweight strap. Of course, they have their own differences to settle first! We'll see that match on the very next card!
Torpor vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Torpor with a SAM'S ATOMIC DROP at 1:15 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Sam definitely needs a win against his old nemesis, Torpor. These two fought in the very first match in GWF history and Sam came away with a solid win and ingratiated himself to the fans that night.
He's been struggling for most of the year, even after adding some new moves and trying to focus less on the bloody brawls of his past and more on wrestling in the ring.
Torpor has never really been able to get anything started in the GWF and there have been a lot of rumors that his time may be coming to an end in the promotion...
The bell rang and Sam came out like a shot. There may have been some early jockeying, but ultimately, Sam made short work of his opponent and scored a convincing win after SAM'S ATOMIC DROP!
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Morpheus has come out to the ring and grabs a mic.
MORPHEUS: At Cosmic Collision I got into a cage with Omega and we went to war for the richest prize in the game. Things were fast and furious and we beat the tar out of each other for 10 minutes and when all was said and done my partner walked out with the title... To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement... But you see, as far as I'm concerned it doesn't end there!
Omega, we've got better matches in us and I know it. So, I'm asking you for one more shot! One more chance at the GWF Title. You can set the rules, any stipulation you want, but I'm calling you out again, and I'm doing it because I don't think you've got the guts to say yes! You may have beaten me, but I'm here! I admit it! And I'm asking for more! I will not stop, Omega! I will not stop until I get what I have been craving since we opened the doors to this place!
I am the best damn wrestler in the galaxy and I will do whatever it takes to prove that! You put me down, but I didn't stay down! And if you take a look at the vids from that match, you'll see me standing over you at the end of that match holding what I will take from you!
Just give me the match! Everyone wants to see it!
I'll see you later tonite, partner... I'll be waiting for an answer.
Ricken Prince vs. Cosmos Cosmos defeated Ricken Prince with a DQ at 7:10 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: This one got off to a hot start as Prince over powered the youngster and hit a Samoan drop off the ropes. The action spilled outside, but Cosmos was fired up and hit a Cosmic Skull Crusher on the outside!
He went back in and went up top, but Prince met him... Cosmos pushes him off and hits him with THE MASTERDROP! 1...2... NO! Prince barely got the shoulder up.
Prince would make a come back and they went back and forth for a little bit, but Prince kept coming up on top and then he pressed his advantage big time!
Cosmos had a never say die attitude, tho, and survived not one, not two, not three, but FOUR ROYAL DECREEs! It was an incredible display that had the fans securely in his corner.
Eventually the action spilled outside again and Prince took the low road, but the ref caught him in the act and DQd him for a chairshot to Comos' back!
Prince pushed the ref aside and went after him, but here comes Commander Sam!!! The crowd pops big as Sam goes after Prince... And here's Mimic!
Prince offered Mimic money a few cards ago and it looks like that alliance has been sealed, but Cosmos is up and hits a Cosmic Skull Crusher on the silent one!
Sam and Cosmos barely drive off the heels and it looks like we have a new alliance in the GWF!
- 2/3 Falls - Blood vs. K.O. Keller K.O. Keller defeated Blood with THE TEN COUNT at 0:42 K.O. Keller defeated Blood with a DQ at 12:54 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: There seems to be a tense respect between these two. They seem to have made it a matter of honor over fighting each other and giving no quarter. Blood won their match a couple of cards ago with his finishing hold, but Keller steam rolled past him with THE TEN COUNT on the previous card.
This 2 out of 3 falls match was requested as a rubber match, tho they've faced one another before this three match series, the stakes seem to be higher for both men at this time.
Typifying the no quarter given mentality, Keller came out at the bell and thumbed Blood in the eyes! KO Flurry! Nearfall... THE TEN COUNT!!!
1,2,3! Keller takes the first fall in record time!
Blood can't believe it and the fans are shocked as well.
After the second fall started it became clear that these two would gun one another with everything they had and Blood came back big with a dropkick to the knee and swinging neckbreaker.
Blood was in full control and hit him with his best offense and score a couple of nearfalls, but Keller came back on the outside in spite of the beating he suffered.
He hit another TEN COUNT, but Blood somehow got the shoulder up! In fact he came back a short time later and they went back and forth for a while. The action spilled outside again, but they kept it somewhat civil.
Blood seemed to be making a comeback when Keller hit him with a spinebuster from nowhere!
Blood rolled outside and Keller followed! A huge brawl erupted and both men took some liberties, but it wasn't until Blood smashed Keller with a chair that the bell rang... Your winner as a result of a disqualification, KO Keller!
Keller takes the second fall and therefore the match, but they're still brawling!
Officials get them separated and I have a feel we haven't seen the last of this one.
- POW Rules - Screw vs. Santon the Loner Screw defeated Santon the Loner with a middle rope clothesline at 8:19 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: These two rivals have made a habit of beating on one another in and out of the ring over the past two years and both men have been top contenders for the GWF title.
Screw probably came the closest to dethroning Omega, but interference from his former benefactor, Ricken Prince, cost him. Omega handled the big man in the rematch...
Santon has had some big wins over nearly everyone in the GWF except Omega. He's beaten Caelum and Screw, but fell to Morpheus in a #1 Contender's match recently. These two had a DQ finish on the last card prompting this POW rules bout something they've done before. Doubtful that this will be the last either.
They went back and forth in the opening moments with neither man getting a discernible edge until Santon hit him with a running clothesline. Screw rolled out, but Santon elected to stay in the ring and met Screw with an atomic skullcrusher!
He scored a nearfall after another running clothesline, but Screw got the shoulder up.
The action spilled out and Santon crushed Screw with a wicked chairshot after slinging him into the steel steps. He then hit a running leg drop off the apron after draping Screw on the guardrail and the big man was hurting!
Somehow, Screw came back on the inside and slowly worked Santon over. Santon tried to rekindle the fire, but Screw caught him with a spectacular middle rope clothesline and got a surprise early win!
These two have definitely had more spectacular matches, but this is another chapter in a war that doesn't look like it will end any time soon!
- 2/3 Falls - Paladin Power vs. The Guardians for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Morpheus defeated Moonstrike with a TRIP TO HADES at 4:30 Solar Flare defeated Morpheus with a PALADIN MISSILE at 8:43 Morpheus defeated Moonstrike with a TRIP TO HADES at 31:37 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: With all the tension between the tag team champs people are beginning to think it's only a matter of time before they can no longer hold the titles. Would this be Paladin Power's night? They've been one of the top teams in the GWF since it's inception, but the Guardians and Dorado Sundown were always just a bit better.
The champs enter separately and there was quite a bit of enthusiasm from the crowd for Paladin Power.
After a tense exchange in the corner, Omega started things off with Moonstrike.
They jockeyed for position and Omega went to work. He started laying in the hi impact offense, seeming to want to get this done as quickly as possible, he hit COSMIC WAR DANCE, but Moonstrike kicked out...
Morpheus with a blind tag to his partner's back! TRIP TO HADES! 1,2,3!
Morpheus scores the first fall and cackles at Omega in the corner!
Flare would come in and Morpheus looked like he wanted to go it all alone, ignoring any tag attempts from his partner. He and Flare went back and forth, but Morpheus eventually put him down hard with a NATURAL DISASTER. He spent some time trash talking his own partner and it may have cost him... Flare came out of the corner with a skull splitting lariat and followed it up with PALADIN MISSILE! 1,2,3!
Morpheus is pissed and Omega is just shaking his head in disgust in the corner!
Morpheus takes out his frustrations on Flare as best he can, but Moonstrike is tagged in and tries to work over the Guardian... Omega, stealing a page from his partner's book makes a blind tag of his own!
Omega and Moonstrike battle back and forth using every move in their arsenal. At on point the Titans used a succession of quick tags to work over the champ, but Omega came off the ropes with a double clothesline and the fans popped big!
He was too tired to capitalize, but Morpheus wouldn't extend his hand for a tag, not that it looked like Omega wanted it. The match continued in a fantastic see-saw battle that saw neither side give an inch. Moonstrike was hurting big time, but he still pulled off a spectacular tope suicida on Omega outside the ring!
Both men were down and nearly counted out, but they made it back in and Moonstrike wisely tagged in Flare.
Omega made a comeback, tho and finally Morpheus accepted the tag.
He and Flare went back and forth, but Morpheus used his power to put the Titan down. A defensive tag brought in Moonstrike, but he's taken so much punishment it's doubtful how effective he'll be against a relatively fresh Morpheus.
The finishing stretch saw Moonstrike whip Morpheus into the ropes, but he comes off with a flying shoulder tackle! Natural Disaster... TRIP TO HADES! 1,2,3!
The Guardians retain! Again! How long can they keep this up? The cracks have become fractures and neither man seems to want to be in this partnership, but they keep winning.
Omega has a mic.
OMEGA: Morpheus... I'll bet you're pretty pleased. You've got more ammunition now after a selfish, but competent display. We're still partners. We've still got these belts. Why can't you see we're better together than as enemies?
MORPHEUS: You see that's where you're wrong, Omega! These fans don't want to see us play nice! They want to see us tear into one another! They want blood and guts! They want us to despise one another. But you keep pandering to them and playing mister nice guy. We're not friends. Hell, we're barely partners. The only thing holdin us together are these belts. And the only reason I don't drop them right here and now and plant you with a Trip To Hades is because contrary to what you believe, I do have respect for this. I have respect for what happens in this ring. I even have respect for you... As long as you answer my challenge.
Omega is silent as the fans chant his name. It gets deathly quiet in the arena after a minute, tho.
OMEGA: After everything you still want this war. You still want this title. Morpheus, I have never backed down from anything in my life. And I will not start now. I will defend this title any time, any where, against any one. Including you. But since I get to name the stipulations, then let's do something never done before. Let's make this a best of the best situation. Let's make this, for the first time ever in the GWF, let's make this a ladder match for the GWF Championship!
The fans pop big and Morpheus smiles a sick smile nodding his head. Omega offers his hand, but Morpheus laughs.
MORPHEUS: Oh, you think I'm gonna shake your hand... You're dumber than you look, Omega! I'll gladly fight you in a ladder match! And I will climb it rung by damned rung and stand 15 feet above you with that belt in my hands! But I will never shake your hand!
Overall Card Rating: 2.73

GWF Classics #26: The Ladder Match 10.19.2076 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - This is going to be a huge card! We've got amazing matches scheduled with long-term grudges maybe coming to an end and developing feuds perhaps only heating up!
Tano and Cordsar will be in action to help determine some rankings for the UWA Jr Heavyweight title! This has been brewing for a while as their respective teams have met on a number of occasions and Cordsar has been talking a huge game lately!
Equally important to the Jr Heavyweight rankings is a match between Chucho Morales and Venomous. They met in tag action on the last card, what will happen in singles competition?
KO Keller and Blood will meet inside a cosmic cage! This feud has been brewing for a while and after their 2/3 Falls match ended in a DQ, this bout will go a long way to determining who the winner is.
Torin Caelum and Screw will meet in a match that will go a ways to determining a new #1 contender to the Galaxian belt.
The budding partnership between Commander Sam and Cosmos gets its first test in match that has them squaring off against Ricken Prince and Mimic, stemming from events on the last card.
(Morpheus' music hits) MORPHEUS: Omega... My friend... My partner... My enemy! Tonite is the night. We've been going round and round for a while now and you keep coming out on top. But tonite, the tune changes. Tonite, I get down to business and make my run at greatness...
Omega's music hits and he comes out to a great pop from the crowd.
OMEGA: Morpheus, we've heard this all before. You talking about getting what you deserve. Getting what's yours. Well, let me tell you something, this doesn't come because it's yours. This title isn't something you deserve. This title, is something you earn! Something you earn and you don't keep by being complacent. The only way you keep it is by adapting to whatever challenge comes your way. As far as I'm concerned this belt is something I have to win every night! I'm not just holding it. I'm keeping it! I set out to win it every time I step in the ring. This belt is it's own entity, it exists with or without me and no man... No being... Will ever win this title without EARNING IT!
MORPHEUS: Oh I'll earn it! I'll earn it Omega! I'll earn it tonite in this very ring when I climb that ladder and you lay broken on the mat! In fact I'm so sure... If I don't win tonite... I will never challenge you for the title again!
And, of course, in the main event that tag champions will face one another in a ladder match for the Galaxian Championship! That's right, it's Morpheus vs. Omega for what could be the last time!
Tano vs. Cordsar Cordsar defeated Tano with a MENSAN LOCK at 14:56 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This was an incredible match that told a fantastic story and only goes to solidify the growing Jr Heavyweight division in the GWF.
Stemming from events that have been brewing for quite a while, Tano and Cordsar are meeting in singles action and the bout has been sanctioned for consideration in the Jr Heavyweight division.
The hate came out early as Cordsar taunted Tano and promised to make him tap out.
Cordsar worked him over to begin with, but Tano came back and even hit a kick to the knee that had Cordsar on the mat! Tano taunted his opponent with a "how does it feel?".
He continued to put the pressure on, but Cordsar made a comeback and they exchanged hi-impact moves until Tano hit a big superplex and followed it up with a pair of flying dropkicks!
Cordsar rolled out and Tano hit a beautiful plancha to the Mensan.
Back inside Tano got a nearfall, but Cordsar battled back and when the action spilled outside, he resorted to the low road and snuck a shot with the time keepers clipboard!
Back inside he began shooting on the legs! A combination of figure fours, and dropkicks to the knee, quickly had Tano limping and eventually barely able to stand! But he wouldn't quit despite the MENSAN LOCK and pinfall attempts!
He showed great heart and even came back to hit some devastating moves and looked like he might have a shot at putting the match in his favor, but Cordsar dropkicked the knee while Tano was up top and the Wind Rider went down screaming in anguish.
Cordsar attacked like a rabid dog and tore apart Tano's knee before slapping on a MENSAN LOCK to secure the submission victory!
He kept the hold on after the bell and Rama hit the ring to run him off, but Trotarus evened the odds and as Rama was helping Tano to his feet Cordsar and Trotarus hit him with a double-team clothesline!
The WindRiders were down as the Mensans left the ringside area and Cordsar screamed about a title shot!
The Crosscurrents vs. Paladin Power Solar Flare defeated Vortex with a DQ at 17:54 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: This was an excellent math with tons of nearfalls and hard-hitting action.
The winner of this match could lay easy claim to a tag title shot down the road.
Moonstrike and Thetis started the action off and it was fast and furious from the get go. They chain wrestled at the top and then each had a few flurries of offense until Moonstrike too the upper hand and pressed his advantage with a suicide dive to the outside!
Thetis wouldn't be so easy to put away, tho and CrossCurrents took advantage of a mid match brawl after a pin attmept to lay a big hurt on Moonstrike and nearly take the match after a series of nailbiting nearfalls.
Moonstrike made the desperate tag to Solar Flare, tho and the complexion of the matched changes as Paladin Power was able to score some nearfalls and lay a hurt on their opponents.
It was back and forth down the home stretch and the action spilled out of the ring and as tensions mounted Flare and Vortex battled over a chair on the outside. Ignoring the ref, Flare took a chair shot and the ref called for the DQ!
All four men fought after the bell, but finally separated at the behest of officials.
This was a great match with a murky finish... Rematch?
Chucho Morales vs. Venomous Chucho Morales defeated Venomous with a Side Effect at 6:24 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Solid match. Solid storytelling. The Jr division could be one of the best things that's happened to the GWF. Tho not deep in size, it's clear that their talents more than make up for that.
These two met in tag action and put on a hell of a show with Venomous scoring a pinfall victory when he teamed with El Demonico over Morales, teaming with El Virtuoso, the UWA Jr Heavyweight Champion.
They went back and forth in a series of heated exchanges at the bell, but Morales eventually got control and he slowed the pace down a bit as they grappled in the ring.
Venomous had a few moments here and there, but Morales controlled the early going. He came back in a big way tho and scored a nearfall.
The action would spill outside and Morales proved a more than capable brawler by taking it to Venomous.
Back inside they struggled a little more, but Morales hit a Side Effect for the pinfall!
Venomous was acting very hurt after the bell and Morales went to check with the ref... Venomous mists both men! He grabs a chair and lays a few shots in before El Virtuoso can make the save!
Commander Sam and Cosmos vs. Ricken Prince and Mimic Mimic defeated Cosmos with a fisherman suplex at 7:26 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Stemming from recent events these four men have paired off into teams to settle some scores and have someone to watch their respective backs.
Even since Ricken Prince and Screw's relationship dissolved, he's been running a little scared from his opponents and resorting to all manner of underhanded tactics.
Mimic has apparently accepted a payoff and has been more than happy to keep Prince covered.
Meanwhile, Prince's most frequent target has been Commander Sam, luckily Sam has a found a partner in Cosmos.
These four were ready to go and Mimic and Cosmos started the action off.
It was all Cosmos in the opening moments, but Mimic battled back and applied the MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER! It was way too early, tho and Cosmos fought out of it on his own.
Then Mimic took it outside and got away with a chairshot as Prince distracted the ref!
Cosmos was in a bad way and Prince accpeted the tag and went to work! The ref took a bump and the sadistic Prince took the fight out of the ring and brutalized the rookie! Cosmos was a bloody mess and all four men were brawling outside while the ref was down! Mimic dropkicked a chair into the already bleeding Comos' face and Prince even waffled Sam with a shot! This led to a controversial finish!
Prince hit a piledriver on the floor and rolled Cosmos in. A tag to Mimic led to a fisherman suplex and a newly roused ref counted the 1, 2, 3!
Here comes Sam with a chair! The heels hit the road as Sam checks on his bloody and battered partner.
Torin Caelum vs. Screw Torin Caelum defeated Screw with a pinning combo at 20:25 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Another great match from these two. They've been telling a story since the early days of the promotion. And what began as a clash of styles resulting in blood and guts and technical wizadry has become a battle of respect.
This match was no different. Caelum used his technical wizadry to dominate the early going, but Screw roared back meeting Caelum with some explosive moves and holds of his own. In fact, he was wrestling. Not brawling!
They went back and forth for a while before the action spilled outside and they brawled around the ringside area. Screw, of course, got the duke after the brawl and rolled Caelum in. He kept the pressure on and Caelum could've been in big trouble, but he ducked a big lariat and mounted a comeback of his own.
Caelum cam back big and hit a moonsault and nearly made the bruiser tap with the Torin Death Lock, but Screw woudn't be put away yet.
He stretched him for a bit and then hit a big shoulderbreaker, targeting his favorite area. An area Screw was already favoring, but he still wouldn't fall to a CAELUM'S GRIP!
In fact Screw came back again after rolling out and despite ref's warnings power slammed Caelum on the floor! The match continued, tho. And Caelum was nearly counted out!
He was hurting and Screw seemed to have the match in hand, but Caelum ducked a lariat... Screw comes back! A couple of middle rope clotheslines...
He shoots Caelum into the ropes... Caelum catches him off guard with a pinning combo off the ropes!!! 1, 2, 3!!!
Caelum secures the win!
K.O. Keller vs. Blood Blood defeated K.O. Keller with a SCAR TISSUE at 13:06 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: This match has been brewing for quite a while. They split victories where each put on a dominating display and finishers, but a 2/3 Falls bout on the last card ended in disqualification when Blood took the low road out of the ring.
They requested and received this cage match tonite, but will it even be able to end the feud?
It was all Keller early on as he tried to put Blood away early and even busted him open by sending him into the cage!
He pounded on Blood and really looked like he was going to take the match early, but Blood roared back to life and targeted Keller's neck!
They went back and forth and and neither man could hold the advantage for too long! Eventually Keller was busted open too and Blood caught a kick and hit a swinging neckbreaker followed by a brainbuster and Keller looked out of it! He was clutching his neck as Blood applied SCAR TISSUE!!!
And this match was all over as Blood escaped the cage and a barely moving and bleeding Keller clutched his neck on the mat!
Has Blood won the feud? Will Keller come back for a rematch?
- Ladder Match - Morpheus vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Morpheus with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 17:58 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This match could very well be the culmination of a months long feud.
Omega has once again accepted the challenge of Morpheus with the added stipulation that if Morpheus doesn't succeed, he can not challenge Omega again for the belt!
The Galaxian title was hanging high above the ring and ladders surrounded the ringside area.
The match was slow and methodical in the beginning. Befitting these two legends in the making, they wrestled the perfect match in the ring. Things spilled outside and they brawled for quite a while.
Morpheus was busted and Omega hit a TOMAHAWK THRUST! He went for the ladder, but Morpheus got to him in time and they continued brawling, as Omega quickly followed up with the COSMIC WAR DANCE! But even that was not enough as Morpheus still kept Omega from the ladder...
The action spilled outside again and in a particularly nasty spot, Omega dropped a leg on Morpheus while he was laying on a ladder!
Morpheus could barely get to his feet and he was blasted with a TOMAHAWK THRUST that may have literally knocked him out. He collapsed like a ton of bricks and Omega stood over him, looked to the back, and then slid into the ring and climbed the ladder!
As officials and medical personnel tended to Morpheus, Omega snatched the belt and retains the title!
Morpheus was stretchered to the back as Omega watched on. His celebration perhaps spoiled by concern...
Almost as soon as Morpheus disappeared into the back, the sound of a motorcycle could be heard...
A man in jeans, jean jacket, cowboy boots and a healthy few days scruff takes to the entrance way and has a mic!
?: So this is the GWF? And you're the number one guy? You're the number one guy... Well, I came here to meet the best! And if you're him, it's damn nice to meet you. You see, where I come from and where I been working, all the people are talking about the GWF... The GWF... So I had to come see for myself. And I gotta admit, you got some damn tough and talented folks around here... But it seems like you've handled all the other fellas that came for that belt. And, well, son, I'm asking you for a shot. A shot at the GWF and a shot at that belt. Cause my name is Harley Marlboro and I ain't here... just to meet ya... I'm here... to beat ya!
With that Marlboro walks to the ring to shake hands with Omega and as they do, there's some glaring and a bit of trash talking and Marlboro strikes the champ! They're brawling! Harley gets the upper hand and delivers a spinebuster on the ladder!!! The champ is down and the newcomer stands over him with the GWF belt as the show comes to a close!

GWF Classics #27: Fighting Spirit 11.16.2076 from Deimos, Mars
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Hot on the heels of our last card there's a plethora of information to report!
The biggest news are a pair of items that come out of the main event ladder match between Omega and Morpheus. Fist off, we have a new face in the GWF. Harley Marlboro made quite the debut and impact in challenging the GWF champ and hitting him with a spinebuster on a ladder!
However, perhaps the even bigger news is that Morpheus not only lost and therefore forfeits his right to challenge Omega for a title shot in the future, but he also suffered a nasty concussion that could keep him on the shelf for a little while!
Stemming from that Omega has promised and important announcement that most are sure concerns the GWF tag titles.
We'll see another bout between Blood and KO Keller in a last man standing match tonite! Will this one finally be the end of this months long grudge!
We've also been informed that the Jr Heavyweights will be in action, too. And making his GWF debut, Harley Marlboro will compete in the ring tonite!
Here comes Omega!
OMEGA: I could come out here and talk about my match with Morpheus... I could come out here and respond to Harley Marlboro... I could do any number of things it seems... But there is business to attend to... And I feel it's important for you, the fans, that I get right to it! Morpheus and I have been tag team champions twice... And that first run was a simple take on all comers and prove we're the best sort of thing... But this last run... From the beginning I knew that Dorado Sundown had done something to us. Not just to us as competitors, but us as partners... And I thought it was something we could push through and overcome... But I was wrong... You see, Morpheus, I saw it all coming. I just thought I had more time to convince you otherwise. And now, even without your injury... You split this team apart. You split us with a lariat and greed. And now that you are injured, you've left me in a difficult spot. A spot which requires a decision I wish I didn't have to make on so many levels.
So, you see, I have conferred with the board, and I've even conferred with Morpheus... Short and terse as it may be... And the decision has been made to declare the GWF Tag Team Titles vacant...
But we don't want to leave you waiting long... So it has been decided that tonite, the four best tag teams will meet in single elimination style. And the winners will face off for the Galaxian Tag straps on the next show!
But there's more! I'm feeling the need to wrestle tonite! I'm feeling like you folks deserve a Galaxian Title Match! So, I am going to step in that ring and defend this belt against the #1 contender and former GWF Champ, Torin Caelum!
And you see, the reason I'm just itching to get in that ring has a lot to do with one Harley Marlboro! Harley, I'm glad you've come to the GWF! I'm glad to have a galactic talent such as yourself here to help us display why we're the best of the best... But glad as I may be, after what happened... You do not have my respect! So earn your shot! And maybe, you can even earn my respect!
Harley Marlboro makes his way out.
HARLEY: Omega, Omega, Omega... It is damned good to be here. Demios isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was... And you sure do have some talented folks in that ring... But as for this respect... Respect... I couldn't care less whether I have your respect! I don't need it. And tonite, I'm going to begin a path of destruction that leads me right to that title!
The Galaxian Tag Team Championship was declared vacant
- Debut Match - Torpor vs. Harley Marlboro Harley Marlboro defeated Torpor with a lariat at 1:04 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Harley Marlboro certainly backed up his talk in this one. Torpor is admittedly not the best the GWF has to offer, but Marlboro put him away like he was nothing.
He hit two skull splitting lariats in a row to score an easy win.
Afterwards he pointed at the camera and shouted, "I'm coming Omega!"
El Virtuoso and Chucho Morales vs. El Demonico and Venomous Chucho Morales defeated El Demonico with a double team face first suplex at 4:29 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: These four put on a spectacular show a couple of cards ago and Morales and Venomous had a match on par with the title match between El Virtuoso and El Demonico.
This one told a different story, tho.
Early on the rudos dominated Morales, but a reversal brought in El Virtuoso and he tore into both Venomous and Demonico!
A quick tag brought Morales in and they hit a double team face first suplex! Virtuoso cuts off Venomous... 1, 2, 3! Demonico goes down in quick fashion!
- 2/3 Falls Match - The Windriders vs. The Mensans Tano defeated Trotarus with a moonsault at 9:00 Tano defeated Cordsar with a Double DQ at 26:16 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These four have give us great action before and tonite was no different.
Tano and Trotarus started things off and the story here was simple. The Wind Riders used as much of their speed and fantastic tag work as they could to keep the big man reeling.
Eventually Cordsar and Rama were squaring off and Rama hit a beautiful plancha to the outside! He tried to follow it up with a press from the top, but Cordsar knocked him to the mat and made the tag and Trotarus came in and tried to embarrass the youngster.
He kept tossing him out of the ring and waiting for him to re-enter, only to toss him again. Rama was finally able to get a tag in and Tano came in with a vengeance!
He hit Trotarus with a moonsault and the big man was caught off guard and Cordsar couldn't make the save! The Wind Riders have the first fall!
The next fall started with Trotarus roaring back to life! Tano and Rama went for the double team, but Trotarus moved and the missile dropkick hit Rama! He went to work and scored a couple of near falls, including one that resulted in a brujah between all four in the middle of the ring!
The ref broke them up and warned them.
The match continued with the Mensans taking it to Rama, but the Wind Rider finally made a tag to his partner and Tano came in hot! He wrestled both Mensans ably and worked up to a DEIMOS DRIVER on Cordsar!!!
Trotarus is in! All four are going at it in the center again! The ref tries to break them up, but can't! He calls for the bell just after the 26 minute mark!
His decision as a result of the double DQ, The Wind Riders are your winners with 2 falls to 1!!! The Mensans are HOT!
The fans are going nuts! We haven't seen the last of this one, but the Wind Riders are going to a championship match!
Mimic vs. Cosmos Mimic defeated Cosmos with a fisherman suplex at 4:28 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Commander Sam accompanies Cosmos to the ring, while Ricken Prince is with Mimic. This feud has been on a slow burn and on the last card it seems that each side has become galvanized to do battle with one another.
These two rookies battled back and forth with Mimic taking the early edge and scoring a nearfall followed by a MIMIC NERVE SLEEPER!
But it wasn't enough and Cosmos was still in this one. He came back and they chain wrestled for a bit, but Mimic came out on top again and caught Cosmos with a fisherman suplex! Ricken Prince grabbed Cosmos' foot and the ref counted 3! Sam was hot and went after Prince!
Sam blasted him with a running forearm and then he and Cosmos took their aggression out on Mimic! MASTERDROP! STAR SPANGLED BANNER! And another MASTERDROP!
Mimic is hurting as officials and doctors come to the ring to check on him!
Sam and Cosmos have made a statement here, but even given the actions of Prince and Mimic, is it one the fans will get behind?
- 2/3 Falls Match - The Crosscurrents vs. Paladin Power Solar Flare defeated Vortex with a PALADIN MISSILE at 19:12 Moonstrike defeated Vortex with a PALADIN DROP at 22:55 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These four men are no strangers and this match was signed even before the implications were give at the top of the night.
Vortex and Solar Flare started things off and it was clear from the get go that they were going for broke and wrestling their asses off!
There were multiple exchanges and reversals and then they might settle into a hold here and there.
The tag work wasn't quite as flashy as the earlier bought, but the psychology was excellent and both teams isolated opposite members on more than one occasion.
Vortex took a beating, but Thetis had his back. Moonstrike once again displayed that start quality that could help put his team at the top of the mountain. A particularly brutal tope sucida was the hi risk that the fans craved and it nearly did as much damage to the Titan as is did to Thetis.
Not to be outdone, tho, The Cross Currents were able to get in a few licks of their own.
It wasn't enough, though and in a match that saw tempers flare similarly to the last one, Flare was able to put Vortex away after a leg drop over the ropes, tombstone piledriver and a second PALADIN MISSILE! Nearly 20 minutes in, the Titans get the first fall!
There were tons of nearfalls in the first 20 minutes and somehow, Vortex kicked out of another after a fallaway slam.
But after a total elimination style move from Paladin Power, Moonstrike hit the PALADIN DROP and Thetis couldn't make the save! 1, 2, 3!
Moonstrike and Solar Flare move on after a fantastic match!
And tonite is proof of just how vital and important the tag division is in the GWF!
- Last Man Standing - Blood vs. K.O. Keller K.O. Keller defeated Blood with a piledriver through a table at 33:35 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This feud finally comes to a head in this last man standing match! Keller participated in a brutal war with Screw and came out on losing end, will tonite be different in this feud capping brawl?
Blood is looking to triumph and win the feud and has the momentum of a win in the cage, but this match will be a different affair.
It was so reminiscent of the WWE brawls between Triple H and Brock Lesnar!
Keller brutalized Blood for nearly the entirety of the match, but the fans couldn't help but be moved by Blood's resiliency, even when it seemed against his better judgment! He was busted wide open in the early goings and bled profusely throughout the match!
Keller kept coming, thwarting nearly every effort by Blood.
There did come a point in the match, tho, where Blood finally broke through the defenses and unloaded on his opponent! He hit all of his hi impact offense and had the boxer reeling!
Keller was busted open after a chairshot on the outside! Blood was being cheered underdog style!
It wasn't enough tho and Keller came roaring back!
The rest of the match was mostly fought on the outside and the brutal finish came when KO Keller piledrived Blood through the announce table!
Blood was a bloody broken mess and there was no way he would answer the 10-count! Keller stand hugely victorious as the fans can't believe what they just witnessed!
- 2/3 Falls Match - Torin Caelum vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Torin Caelum with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 24:06 Torin Caelum defeated Omega with a CAELUM'S GRIP at 28:57 Omega defeated Torin Caelum with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 31:54 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: Omega promised wrestling and that is exactly what the fans got. This was one of the greatest matches in GWF singles competition! Having the daunting task of following the last man standing match, Omega and Torin Caelum more than rose to the occasion!
Omega came out with bombs and tried to put Caelum away early! He hit two TOMAHAWK THRUSTS and a COSMIC WAR DANCE, but Caelum kicked out every time!!!
Caelum got flurries of offense here and there and there were tons of reversals and lots of chain wrestling. They worked holds and tossed bombs when they could.
Soon enough Torin Caelum was busted open after being launched head first into the turnbuckle post!
Omega just kept coming and Caelum just kept escaping within a hair's breadth!
Finally, Omega caught Caelum with a piledriver off the ropes! Flying clothesline from the top! COSMIC WAR DANCE! 1, 2, 3! Omega gets the first fall and Caelum is hurting! He's escaped multiple finishers and nearfalls and is wearing the crimson mask!
Somehow in the second fall he comes back! He reverses an Irish whip and then buys some time by stretching Omega with the abdominal stretch! It works and Omega slides out to regroup, but Caelum hits him with a flying bulldog off the apron to the floor!!!! Omega is busted open!
He rolls him and goes to work on the shoulder! Shoulderbreaker... Nearfall! Shoulderbreaker... CAELUM'S GRIP!!! Omega tries to hang on! Blood flowing down his face... He taps out!!!
Omega taps out!
We're even at one fall a piece...
They came out grappling at the start of the third and it was all of a sudden anybody's match! Omega caught Caelum up and a reversal had the champ on top with an abdominal stretch! Caelum was hurting. Those abdominals and ribs have got to be on fire! He's taken so much punishment...
The champ comes off the top with a picture perfect flying clothesline. Blood streaming down his face. He picks up Caelum... COSMIC WAR DANCE! 1, 2, 3!
Omega does it! He retains the title in a brilliant Match of the Year candidate!
And Harley Marlboro is out on the ramp! He's applauding Omega and nodding as we fade to black...
Overall Card Rating: 3.16
