A sellout crowd of over 29,000 saw the GWWF tag team belts change hands on a card at the Red Ice Arena of Mars on March 16, 2113. Full results of the card were as follows:

Another lopsided match as Nita won it with a “Spinning Assault” to raise her record for the year to 4-1.

The Hellions defeated Synergy

The sister duo out up a great fight against the Hellions in the first tag team match of the year for Serpentine and GWWF Champion Hunger, but in the end Hunger overcame Vision with an “Abdominal Hunger.”

Tech Candy defeated Phantasy

The rookie Tech Candy got an upset win with her “Showstopper” finisher.

Sniper defeated Carrie Storm

Storm’s bad luck continued as Sniper connected with a “Target Practice” for the win, giving Storm her fourth loss in five matches in 2113.

After the match, Carrie Storm spoke to an interviewer. “Yeah, it’s not going well for me so far,” she said. “I’ve got a lot on my mind. My father has been in the hospital, and I’m trying to give him my attention, so I’m not as focused here as I should be. I’ll get it together. Just wait and see."

The Enchantresses defeated Viper Vixson and Rose Caldarian by disqualification

Velar got some revenge against a member of Nora Pelf and Blood Rose’s stable by nailing Rahvin with a “Hammerlock Slam” for the win.

Titan Hardcore Match
Thrash defeated Xenia

Thrash avenged her loss to Xenia on the previous GWWF card in what was the wildest match so far in the federation this year. After the two women beat each other with stun rods, chairs, and video monitors, and Thrash had been sent through a table, the Aethran star rose back up and blasted her opponent with a “Femme Fatal” to score the victory.

Intercosmos Championship Match
Rachael Killian (c) defeated Blood Rose by disqualification

Blood Rose was disqualified for hitting the champion with a chair outside the ring, but not before giving the blue-skinned powerhouse her toughest challenge in some time.

Despite being awarded the victory, Killian was furious after the match. “That fang-toothed, string-haired, pasty-skinned tramp is gonna hit me with a chair?” the Intercosmos Champion stormed. “No way. I ain’t having it. I want her again on the next card, in a match where there’s no way to get DQ’d. I’ll make her sorry she was ever spawned by whatever demoness she came from.”

GWWF Tag Team Championship Match
The Amazon Brawlers defeated Leather and Lace (c)

Amazonia and Lorelai became tag team champions for the first time by knocking off Leather and Lace as Amazonia pinned Lace with a “Running Sabre.”

After the card, Amazonia spoke to the media. “I told you all what our goal was,” she said. “Tonight we got there. I’ve never been a tag team champion before, so this is nice. I’m sure Leather and Lace are gonna want a rematch soon, and that will be fine with us. The Enchantresses will be howling for a shot, too. Bring it on. We proved tonight that we’re the best, and we’ll take on anyone who wants us to prove it again.”

SPARKS FLY BETWEEN KILLIAN AND GOLDENCLAW
The Galaxian Women’s Wrestling Federation held its most recent card at the Denebola Spiral Arm Stadium on April 5, 2113. Full results of the card were as follows:

GWWF Commissioner Sandrisa Tralington opened the card by addressing the audience. “We have a great card for you tonight,” she stated. “Amazonia and Lorelai will make their first defense of the tag belts. In our main event, Hunger and Sniper will battle for the GWWF Championship. And, in a special attraction, Rachael Killian has responded to being smashed by a chair at the hands of Blood Rose on the last card by requesting a match in which Blood Rose cannot escape from her, and she is willing to put up the Intercosmos Title to get that match. Therefore, it will be Killian and Blood Rose for the Intercosmos Championship in a Cosmic Cage Match.”

As the commissioner spoke, Nora Pelf, leader of the “Pelf’s Powerhouse” team that includes Blood Rose, Sabre, and Romy Rahvin, marched to the ring and grabbed a microphone. “You’re making one of my wrestlers get into a cage with that blue freak?” Pelt complained. “That’s unfair. She’s an animal. I will not have this.”

“Ms. Pelf, I know this will come as a shock to you, but your opinion means nothing here," Tralington replied. “Your money buys you no authority at all. The cage match will take place as announced. And as for you, I hope you're ready to fight, because your own match starts now.”

Maxine Babe defeated Nora Pelf

This opening contest was a competitive match until Maxine won it with a “Babe Blockbuster.”

Nita Goldenclaw defeated Ms. Liberty

The werecat from Dimension X destroyed Ms. Liberty with a “Spinning Assault," winning for the fifth time in six matches since coming to the GWWF.

After the bell, Goldenclaw spoke to an interviewer. “I’ve done well so far,” she said in a quiet voice. “No disrespect to Ms. Liberty, but I think I’m ready to move up to stronger opponents. No one else has been able to beat Rachael Killian, for example. I hope my time is coming soon.”

Sabre and Romy Rahvin defeated Synergy

Synergy put up a good fight for five tough minutes, but the psychic sisters finally went down when Sabre hit Storm Child with a “Sensitivity Training.”

Carrie Storm defeated Serpentine

The rookie Storm finally broke out of her slump when she blasted Serpentine with a “Storm Cutter.”

Thrash defeated Tech Candy

The Aethran powerhouse put away Tech Candy with a “Femme Fatal” to continue her climb back into the rankings.

The hard-core Xenia pounded Phantasy down and put her away before the Stun Rod light could even come on.

Between matches, Intercosmos Champion Rachael Killian spoke to an interviewer. “So much for Bloody Rose,” she said mockingly. “She’ll think twice next time she wants to hit me with a chair. I dropped her just like I’ve dropped every other weak challenger who's come at me. And as for the animal Goldenclaw, yeah, your time is coming all right. Get in my way and I’ll make a fur coat out of you. You’d better keep your mouth shut and stay clear of me or your time will come sooner than you want it to.”

HUNGER DEFENDS TITLE AGAINST AMAZONIA
The GWWF Champion met the most accomplished wrestler in women’s wrestling history when Hunger faced Amazonia for the title on a GWWF card at the Calliope Muse Gardens on April 28, 2113. Complete results of the card were as follows:

Sniper defeated Nora Pelf

Pelf put up a better fight than expected, but Sniper overcame her opponent’s effort and outside interference by Sabre to score the pin with a “Hitwoman’s Clothesline.”

Ms. Liberty defeated Serpentine

This match was an outstanding contest as both wrestlers fought very well before Ms. Liberty finally won it with a deathjump.

Burning Venom defeated Eye Candy

Rose Caldarian and Viper Vixson had no problem in this matchup as they put away Tech Candy and Maxine when Rose hit the “Caldarian Cutter” on Tech Candy.

Titan Hardcore Match
Carrie Storm defeated Blood Rose

Storm earned her second straight win after a difficult start to 2113 as she pinned Blood Rose in the ring with a “Storm Cutter” to end this wild, physical match that spilled all over the arena.

After the match, Carrie Storm commented on her performance to an interviewer. “Things are looking better,” she stated. “It hasn’t been an easy year, but my father is healthy again now, so I can concentrate on wrestling. This was a good match tonight. I know I’m still new here, so I need to work my way up, but at last I feel like I’m moving in the right direction.”

Thrash’s inconsistency continued as she went down to Lorelai’s “Maternal Rage.”

The Enchantresses defeated Synergy

This was an outstanding contest, with the action swinging back and forth many times and both teams barely escaping defeat until Cassandra finally pinned Storm Child with a power bomb.

Between matches, Intercosmos Champion Rachael Killian commented on her upcoming non-title contest with Nita Goldenclaw. “The catwoman thinks she’s good enough to challenge me?” the powerful blue-skinned champion scoffed. “I’ll crush her like I’ve crushed everyone else. She’s too weak to stand up against me. No one has beaten me this year, and it will stay that way. And once I’m done with her, it’s just about time that I get a shot at Hunger and the GWWF title.”

Nita Goldenclaw defeated Rachael Killian

Goldenclaw gave the Intercosmos Champ her first loss of the year when she landed a “Spinning Assault” and scored the pin.

When Killian reached the locker room, she went berserk, smashing every breakable object in sight. “That animal doesn’t belong in the ring with me!” she raged. “I’ll skin her! I’ll take her flea-bitten pelt and hang it on my wall. When I get her in the ring again, there will be no mercy. She is mine!”

Sabre and Romy Rahvin defeated Leather and Lace

This match was over almost before it could begin as Sabre caught Leather off guard with a pump kick and rolled her up for the pin for her team’s third straight win.

GWWF Championship Match
Hunger (c) defeated Amazonia

Amazonia started this match well and had Hunger on the ropes for some time, but the Brymstone wrestler hung on and finally fought back. Both wrestlers were battered and fatigued when Amazonia missed a turnbuckle charge and Hunger caught her for the victory.

When the card was over, Amazonia commented on her loss. “There’ll be another day,” she said. “Lorelai and me are still tag team champs. The Queen’s Challenge Tournaments are coming up soon, and I can earn another title shot by winning there. Hunger won tonight, but her days as champ are still numbered.”

Another great card! The first three matches came as no surprise to me, although Tech Candy has said 'Those goons may have won the match but they will NEVER win any beauty contests.'

Go Figure!

Carrie Strom beating Blood rose was sweet. The female vampire is a tough competitor and Carrie is earning her way back! Lorelei beating Thrash is a big surprise. Lorelei is tough; don't get me wrong, but against Thrash?! I tip my hat in her direction!

The enchantresses beating Synergy...frankly I'm not sure how to feel on that one, I know Synergy is a great tag team but the enchantresses have proven they are no slouches either. I'd have to see these two teams in action again!

Phantsay and Velar both score good wins, but I wonder how easily Velar would handle Supernova's later Identity?

Sabre and Romy Rahvin beat Leather and Lace. I suppose a win is still a win but when a match ends that quick, always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Hunger is a true beast and I am wondering if anyone in this fed can take the belt from her ...waist?! Finally, Nita Goldenclaw defeats Racheal Kilian. Great match for Nita and with this win, we could see Gold coming to Goldenclaw very soon!

KILLIAN BATTLES GOLDENCLAW FOR IC BELT
Intercosmos Champion Rachael Killian and Nita Goldenclaw squared off in a title match on a GWWF card at the Vesta Sports Complex on May 20, 2113. Full results of the event were as follows:

GWWF Commissioner Sandrisa Tralington opened the card. “Welcome, everyone,” the commissioner began. “I want to remind everyone that our next card, to be held in one month on June 19, will feature the annual Queen’s Challenge tournaments at the Queen of the Stars Pavilion. As always, the prizes for both the singles and tag team tournaments will be a match for corresponding championship at a later date. We will be announcing the competitors for each tournament over the next few weeks, so stay tuned. And now, let’s get to tonight’s action.”

Eye Candy defeated Synergy

Synergy continued to slide downward as the sister team lost to Tech Candy and Maxine Babe when Tech Candy hit a “Showstopper” on Vision.

Serpentine defeated Nora Pelf

The Brymstone wrestler had little problem as she pinned Pelf with a leg drop.

Carrie Storm defeated Sniper

Storm continued her impressive climb in the rankings by defeating the tough Sniper with a “Blackheart.”

This contest was a good battle, but in the end Anaxis and Cassandra once again came out on top as Leather fell to Anaxis’ “Call of the Siren.”

Velar and Phantasy were involved in a very even fight until Velar was disqualified for using a chair against her opponent outside the ring.

After the match, Phantasy had unkind words for Velar. “I had that alien beat, so she got herself disqualified,” she said, though Phantasy’s impending victory was in no way so clear to most observers. “She’s always been jealous of me. We can finish this any time she wants, in whatever kind of match she wants. She’s a joke who never should have been the champion, and I’ll be happy to prove it.”

Thrash continued to struggle and Blood Rose picked up another win with a “Rose’s Thorn” on the arena floor.

“I’ve been pushed aside long enough,” Blood Rose announced on the ring microphone after the match. “This time I beat the mighty Thrash, but still I don’t have the belt I deserve. Well, on the next card I’ll win the Queen’s Challenge tournament, and then this federation will have no choice but to take me seriously.”

Feminine Fury defeated the Alpha Females (Sabre and Romy Rahvin)

This terrific match provided the best action on the card, with both teams putting in strong performances. In the end, Supernova connected on Sabre with a tilt-a-whirl slam and pinned her to snap the Alpha Females’ three match winning streak.

Intercosmos Championship Match

Goldenclaw once again proved herself to be the toughest challenge the blue-skinned powerhouse has faced and nearly had the champion beaten twice in the contest’s opening minutes with a pair of “Cheetah Crushers.” However, Killian came back and caught her werecat opponent with a “Cold Justice” to once again retain her belt.

After the match, Killian spoke to an interviewer. “I squashed that fleabag just like I said I would,” she gloated. “She’s as inferior to me as everyone else in this federation. She got lucky on the last card when she beat me, and I proved it tonight. Now I’m on to win the Queen’s Challenge, and when I do Hunger won’t be able to keep hiding from me. It won’t be long until I’m wearing the big belt.”

A tough and physical battle between these two teams ended when Caldarian caught Amazonia with a “Burn Knuckle” to get the pin.

The powerful Xenia has looked good in her rookie year, but on this night she fell to a catapult splash as Hunger retained her championship.

When the card was over, Nita Goldenclaw commented on her loss in the Intercosmos Championship Match. “So Killian beat me tonight,” she stated. “It’s not over between us. She’s fooling herself if she thinks it is. I beat her once, and I can do it again. She’d better stop worrying about Hunger’s title and watch her own back, or she won’t be wearing a belt at all for long.”

QUEEN’S CHALLENGE TOURNAMENTS 2113
The GWWF’s tenth annual Queen’s Challenge Tournaments took place on June 19, 2113 at the Queen of the Stars Palace of Cassiopeia. The event consists of two tournaments, one each for tag teams and for singles wrestlers. Winners are granted automatic title shots at the appropriate championships. The final two rounds of each tournament are fought under no disqualification rules. While champions are allowed to participate in the Challenge, Tag Team Champions Amazonia and Lorelei chose to sit out the tag team tournament this year and focus on their singles matches.

Romy Rahvin and Sabre defeated the Hellions

In a huge upset, Rahvin put away Hunger with an “Into the Black” to send the “Alpha Females” to the tournament finals.

Leather and Lace defeated Rose Caldarian and Viper Vixson

The sisters from the Pleiades reached the finals for the third year in a row and the sixth time in ten tries as Lace caught Viper Vixson with a Pleiades Pounce.

Tag Team Tournament Final
The Alpha Females (Romy Rahvin and Sabre) defeated Leather and Lace
Time: 4:23
Leather and Lace failed in their attempt to become the first team ever to repeat as Queen’s Challenge Tag Team winners as Rahvin made Lace submit to a Sharpshooter. The vicory was the first Queen’s Challenge Championship for either Rahvin or Sabre.

After the tag team final, Sabre spoke to an interviewer about her team’s performance. “It’s about time we got our shot,” she stated. “We been tied up in feuds with Velar, Vixson, and Caldarian, and we ain’t worried enough about us. We’re the best team in this federation, and we’re gonna prove it by taking the belts from Amazonia and Lorelei. They ain’t got a prayer against us.”

In one of the best matches of the tournament, Velar scored the win with a “Hammerlock Slam.”

The exciting rookie claimed the win with a “Heart Rate.”

Rose Caldarian defeated Rachael Killian

Intercosmos Champion Killian has dominated the opposition during her first year in the GWWF, but for the second consecutive year she was eliminated in the first round of the Queen’s Challenge Tournament when Rose surprised her with a “Burn Knuckle,” Rose's version of her grandfather’s legendary “Hellfire” finisher.

Between rounds of the tournament, a groggy Phantasy spoke to an interviewer. “I don’t know what provoked Thrash tonight,” she said. “But I’m not pulling out. Yes, I’m hurt, and I’m not going to be a hundred percent, but I will show up for my match in the next round. Everyone’s trying to tell me to quit, but this tournament only happens once a year, and there’s no way I’m stopping now. If Goldenclaw can beat me, I’ll live with that, but I’m not laying down for anyone.”

Viper Vixson defeated Sniper

Vixson has spent most of 2113 as a tag team wrestler, but she continued her strong showing in the singles tournament by defeating Sniper with a “Coiled Strike.”

Phantasy defeated Nita Goldenclaw
Time: 5:22
Competing against doctors’ orders due to the horrible beating inflicted on her by Thrash after her round one victory, Phantasy overcame her injuries and pulled off a surprising win against Goldenclaw with a “Sweet Suicide.”

Amazonia defeated Velar by DQ
Time: 3:20
Velar was disqualified for using an illegal object in this match, allowing Amazonia to advance to the semi-finals.

Rose Caldarian defeated Carrie Storm
Time: 4:10
In a mild upset, Rose caught Storm with a “Caldarian Cutter” to claim the win.

Between matches, a furious Rachael Killian spoke to an interviewer. “I was robbed again, just like last year,” the blue-skinned powerhouse raged. “That simpy little tramp thinks she can throw fire at me and get away with it? I’m gonna break her in half the first chance I get. I been told I can’t go after her tonight while she’s still in the tournament, but she is gonna pay, and I’m still gonna get my shot at the GWWF title.”

The injured Phantasy finally ran out of gas and fell to a “Coiled Strike,” allowing Vixson to reach the finals in her rookie year in the GWWF.

Amazonia rolled over her younger opponent with a “Running Sabre” to reach the tournament finals for the second time in her career.

Singles Tournament Final
Amazonia defeated Viper Vixson
Time: 3:49
The most successful wrestler in GWWF history became the first two-time winner of the Queen’s Challenge Singles Tournament as she put away Viper Vixson with a Savage Claw.

“I’m back,” Amazonia declared after the card. “I’ve had a little let down, but I’m ready to take back the title now. Everyone knows that belt has belonged to me more than it has to anyone for years, and now Hunger won’t be able to avoid me. Next time she sees me, I’m taking my title back.”

Reports after the card indicated that during the singles tournament final a brawl broke out backstage between Rachael Killian and Rose Caldarian. The two women had to be separated by security. No serious damage was done, but Rose seemed somewhat bruised and dazed after the altercation.

As soon as the card ended, GWWF Commissioner Tralington announced that Thrash would be suspended indefinitely for her attack on Phantasy. “When I’m satisfied she’s gotten the message, I’ll consider reinstating her,” the commissioner said. “This was not just an attack that injured another wrestler; this was an action that disrupted our biggest event of the year. Thrash ‘s beating of Phantasy had a direct impact on the outcome of the tournament, and I will not allow that. She’ll be gone for quite some time, I assure you.”

Amazonia and Lorelai defended their GWWF Tag Team Titles against Star Challenge Tournament winners Sabre and Romy Rahvin on a card at the Charon Ice Castle on July 14. Full results of the card were as follows:

This was a very physical match that Blood Rose finally won with a “Rose’s Thorn.” After the bell, the competitors were joined by Sabre, Romy Rahvin, Viper Vixson, and Rose Caldarian in an all-out brawl that ended with Blood Rose suffering an injury that is expected to keep her out of action for nearly two months.

Hunger wasted no time in being disqualified for using an illegal object.

After the contest, Hunger commented on her actions. “This match never should have happened,” she said. “Sniper doesn’t deserve a title shot. I’m waiting for Amazonia to step up and take the title shot she earned at the Queen’s Challenge. Until I face her and show her once and for all which of us is the real queen, no one else will get a real shot at this belt.”

The Amazon Brawlers defeated the Alpha Females (Sabre and Romy Rahvin)

The challengers gave Amazonia and Lorelai some great competition, nearly pulling off the upset on several occasions before Amazonia finally pinned Sabre with a “Running Sabre.”

After the card, Amazonia responded to Hunger’s remarks. “She says she wants me?” Amazonia scoffed. “Hey, I ain’t hard to find. Our next card is on August 5, right? That’s the night I’m cashing in my shot. Who cares about showing who the queen is? That night I’ll show her who the real champion is.”

DOUBLE TITLE CHANGE AT CRYSTAL PALACE
Two new champions were crowned on the Galactic Women’s Wrestling Federation card at the Altair Crystal Palace on August 5, 2113. GWWF regulars Supernova and Blood Rose missed the card due to injuries, while Thrash remains under suspension for an assault on Phantasy. Complete results of the card were as follows:

Ms. Liberty had to fight through outside interference by Sabre put still managed to get the pin with a reverse cradle.

Synergy defeated Eye Candy (Tech Candy and Maxine Babe)

Xenia defeated Lorelei

The powerful rookie Xenia, who had been in a slump for several months, roared out and immediately put down her opponent with an “X Marks the Spot” for her most impressive victory of the year.

“Yeah, I ain’t been too good lately,” Xenia stated after the bell. “But this shows what I can do. A weakling like Lorelai can’t stay in the ring with me. I’ll get myself right again, and I’ll be wearing gold before you know it.”

Phantasy claimed the win in this close battle by pinning the Aran star with a deathjump. Velar suffered an injury in the contest but in not expected to miss much action.

Intercosmos Championship Match
Carrie Storm defeated Rachael Killian (c)

The ten-month Intercosmos title reign of the blue-skinned powerhouse came to an end as Storm topped her to claim the belt. The match started slowly, but Storm then took over and finally caught Killian with a “Heart Rate” for the pin.

“It’s been a tough year for our family,” Storm commented after the match. “First my father was injured, and then my brother Jake decided to go into DSCW to defend him, and I was too distracted to perform well. But things are coming together now. Jake is the DSCW champion, and now I have a title too. I never lost my confidence. I knew I could take Killian down. Whenever she wants to go again, I’ll be happy to oblige her.”

The Alpha Females (Sabre and Romy Rahvin) defeated Rose Caldarian and Viper Vixson

The bitter rivalry between these two teams continued, with Sabre and Rahvin getting the victory on this occasion when Sabre hit Vixson with a “Sensitivity Training.”

GWWF Championship Match
Amazonia defeated Hunger (c)

Amazonia cashed in the title shot she earned at the Queen’s Challenge Tournament and became a seven-time GWWF champion by blasting Hunger with a “Running Sabre” for the win.

“This feels great,” stated Amazonia, who had lost the title to Hunger in December of 2112. “I’m back on top. I knew I could take Hunger down. Now I’m ready for anyone: Killian, Storm, Hunger, Thrash, or whoever else wants to come after me. I’ve got the belt back, and that’s all that matters.”

TAG CHAMPS DEFEND AT RIVER’S END
The Amazon Brawlers defended their GWWF Tag Team Championships against the Hellions at the River’s End Spectrum on August 26, 2113. Supernova and Blood Rose both missed the card due to injuries, and Thrash, although her suspension had ended, was absent due to other obligations.

Cassandra defeated Maxine Babe

Maxine gave a good effort in the opening match of the card, but Cassandra was in control most of the way and won it with a “Whips and Chains.”

Tech Candy defeated Xenia by DQ

Tech Candy matched Xenia move for move in this match, and the powerful rookie, who started the year well but has slumped in recent months, grew frustrated and blasted her opponent with a chair to cause the disqualification.

Synergy defeated Leather and Lace by DQ

Although the match ended in a disqualification, Synergy put in one of their best performances in this battle between sister teams. The high-flying team from Psyoniss was on the verge of victory in any case when Leather was disqualified in a melee on the arena floor.

“That’s three wins in a row,” Vision said after the match, noting her team’s recent success. “We may not have the best record in the federation, but we’ve done as well as anyone lately. Everyone else has tried to take the tag belts from the Amazon Brawlers, and everyone else has failed. I think it should be our turn to try. I’m asking the commissioner now when we get our chance.”

Rachael Killian defeated Ms. Liberty

The blue-skinned powerhouse Killian, clearly still furious over losing the Intercosmos Title on the previous card, dominated Ms. Liberty before putting her away with a “Cold Justice.”

“I will get my title back,” Killian declared after the match. “I am the most powerful force in this federation. Carrie Storm beating me was a fluke. I want her back in the ring, and I will not rest until I get her. And once I’ve proven that I’m superior to Storm, I want Amazonia. I’ll prove no one here can compare to me.”

This match was over almost before it began as the werecat flew out of the corner at the opening bell with a “Cheetah Crusher” and covered her stunned opponent for the quick win.

Sabre and Romy Rhavin defeated Viper Vixson and Rose Caldarian

Romy Rahvin forced Viper Vixson to submit to a sharpshooter in this wild match between arch-rivals. The battle contined after the bell, and Rahvin suffered a minor injury that may keep her out of action for two weeks.

Sniper defeated Velar by DQ

Velar’s inconsistency continued, and Sniper continued her impressive showing by battling the Aran star evenly until Velar pushed the referee and was disqualified.

Intercosmos Championship Match
Carrie Storm (c) defeated Phantasy

Storm had little trouble in her first title defense, hammering Phantasy with a “Blackheart” to claim the win.

After the bell, as Storm celebrated her win, Rachael Killian appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. The blue-skinned former champion did not approach the ring, but her threatening glare told everyone that her battles with Storm had not yet ended.

Amazonia and Lorelei (c) defeated the Hellions

Another great match between these rivals ended with the Amazon Brawlers still in possession of the tag belts. Amazonia got the pin on Hunger after stunning here with a sword-edge chop.

After the card, GWWF Commissioner Sandrisa Tralington seemed dissatisfied with the evening. “Too many disqualifications,” the commissioner said. “I’m not criticizing our referees, who were just doing their jobs, but we need to do something to make sure we have more clear-cut winners. Maybe we need more hardcore-type matches. I don’t know. It is a problem I’m going to have to address.

“But I can tell you one match that will not end in a DQ: On our next card, Thrash will face Phantasy in a match of Phantasy’s choice. After Thrash put Phantasy out of action earlier this year, I think Phantasy deserves to decide the stipulations on this fight, and I’m sure they will not involve any chance of a cheap DQ ending.

“Finally, I think I agree with Vision’s earlier comments. Why not let Synergy have a shot at the belts? They’ve done well lately, and they stood toe-to-toe with Leather and Lace tonight. It may not come on the next card, because Amazonia also has to defend the singles title, but Synergy will get an opportunity soon.”
