GWF WARZONE THE WHALE’S BELLY, CETUS APR. 26TH, 2119
The holocast began with highlights of the last edition of WarZone, focusing on the Gamemasters’ injuring Switchblade, Swarm defeating Bloodline and Kill Prey in a triple threat match, Endgame forcing Havoc to submit in the main event, and ending with Encubus pitching a fit in the entrance aisle!
The camera then opened up on the Whale’s Belly on Cetus, panning across the amped up crowd and focusing on many signs supporting Bloodline, running down The Gamemasters, and even begging for an appearance by Star Warrior!
Our hosts Lord Nexus and Vanity introduce themselves amidst the roaring crowd and Nexus comments how Cetus has always been a great wrestling planet, and that tonight’s show will not disappoint them as Payback will defend his Interplanetary Title against Reckless, Endgame will meet Disaster one-on-one, Center Stage will defend their tag championships against Genesis, and Bloodline will face down Encubus!
Vanity makes a lewd remark about Cetus women as Swarm’s music hits, the crowd roars a bit, and GWF WarZone is under way!
Swarm w/ She Devil vs. Kill Prey w/ Shann-Ra (GW) Swarm had Kill Prey on the ropes until Shann-Ra distracted him, allowing Kill Prey to take over. Kill Prey began his methodical assault, but deviated from his strategy and went high risk, paying for it and falling victim to the HORNET’S STING! (***) WINNER: SWARM w/ She Devil
Lorelei vs. Thrash Lorelei proves to be incredibly resilient, taking a tremendous beating and constantly frustrating Thrash with inspired comebacks! But Lorelei could not hold on forever, and was eventually finished off with a brutal FEMME FATALE. (***1/2) WINNER: THRASH
With Lorelei punished, Thrash looked straight into the ringside camera and made a villainous grimace. She then proceeded to grab Lorelei by the hair, take her outside the ring, and deliver a Gladiator Piledriver! The crowd was furious, but Thrash hit Lorelei with another Gladiator Piledriver on the outside!
At this moment, Bloodline and the rest of the FDF hit the ringside area and surrounded Lorelei’s limp frame as Thrash retreated up the entrance aisle and was joined by Disaster and the other Gladiators. As the FDF checked over Lorelei and beckoned for medics, Thrash looked menacingly into the nearest camera to her and shouted that GWF Women’s Champion Shann-Ra had best be on notice! --Lorelei injured
AniMen Invasion vs. The Colonizers Antak won a fairly back and forth bout for his team by pinning Epoch with a graceful cross body from the top turnbuckle. (*1/2) WINNERS: ANIMEN INVASION
Accompanied by his father Thantos, the King of Holovision, Encubus entered the ring with a mic and proclaimed that he was the number one contender to Endgame’s Galaxian Championship, and was fed up with Endgame dodging him by constantly fighting Disaster.
Therefore, Encubus demanded that he be given his rightful shot at the title on the next GWF WarZone, and as such refused to wrestle until the Galaxian Championship was at stake. As the crowd booed him, Encubus introduced his replacement against Bloodline tonight in Sly Drury.
Drury came to the ring as Encubus left it. But as Encubus neared the entrance, Bloodline’s music hit and the man himself arrived on the scene!
Bloodline smirked condescendingly on Encubus, and the King of Holovision sneered back defiantly as both men circled around each other, and continued towards their intended destinations.
Bloodline w/ Lorelei vs. Sly Drury w/ Thantos Drury had a tough time keeping his foe down, but with invaluable help from the outside was able to eventually get a big upset win over Bloodline with the Knife Edge Attack! The absolute bottom end of the division has upset the number 3 ranked Galaxian Contender! And on his own home planet of Cetus, no less! (***) WINNER: SLY DRURY
INTERGENDER 6-PERSON TAG Stars & Stripes & Latasha vs. The Troubleshooters & Phantasy The Troubleshooters were able to mount a comeback against Stars & Stripes through unsavory team tactics, tagging in Phantasy for the one and only time in the entire match-up to deliver a Double Phantasy, and then finishing American Guy off with a pulverizing TROUBLE TIMES TWO! (**) WINNERS: THE TROUBLESHOOTERS & PHANTASY
Tristan w/ Payback vs. The Betrayer w/ Tanck The Betrayer failed to keep Tristan grounded for long, allowing the Titan’s daredevil high flying to shine and lead him to a victory with the ARCANA! WINNER: TRISTAN
After the match, Tristan motioned to the crowd that he would unmask The Betrayer. But Tanck scooped his partner out of the ring and retreated up the entrance aisle with him.
The Cetus crowd booed Disaster heavily as he entered the ring, but exploded into cheers as the HoloTron blared bright white and Endgame, the Galaxian Champion appeared! Once both men were in the ring, face to face, the building quieted down as the tension in the air was thick.
NON-TITLE MATCH Endgame (GX) vs. Disaster In a short yet brutally intense match, Endgame survived two consecutive Decapitators right out of the gate to mount a fierce comeback and take the victory with an ULTIMA LEAP! (**) WINNER: ENDGAME
Endgame acknowledged the roaring crowd as Disaster recovered and began to loom behind the Galaxian Champ. But, before Disaster could do anything, Encubus hit the ring from the crowd and layed into Endgame with a chair, leaving the champ on the mat! Encubus screamed that Endgame had better pay attention to the Number One Contender and that he wanted his title shot at the next GWF WarZone!
Encubus then exited the ring, sharing angry and wary looks with Disaster. As soon as Encubus was gone, Disaster then delivered a RAMPAGE to Endgame for good measure and also left the ring area to a roar of boos from the Cetus crowd.
GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP Payback © vs. Reckless In a very entertaining high-risk and high-flying match, Reckless took it to Payback fiercely, managing to out-fly him and capture the GWF InterPlanetary Championship with a graceful and high-impact dive from the top turnbuckle! WINNER AND NEW GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION: RECKLESS
GWF GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Center Stage © w/ Vin Strutter vs. Genesis Tauran and Anivar had Center Stage right where they wanted them several times, but Tauran insisted on trying to make the Amazing Mann tap out, and that just was not going to happen. Center Stage slowly fought through a great back and forth contest until Steele Freak could take control and, thanks to Vin Strutter, get away with far too much anarchy on the outside. But Freak was too unfocused and would not tag out to the Amazing Mann, eventually netting his team a victory, but by count-out after performing FRENZIED HEAD SLAMS on Tauran on the outside of the ring and then having Tauran get slammed in the face with Vin Strutter’s micrphone! (****) WINNERS BY COUNT-OUT AND STILL GEW GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIONS: CENTER STAGE w/ Vin Strutter
To Strutter and his men, a win is a win and a title defense is a title defense. So, as Anivar checked on Tauran and called for Center Stage to come back and finish the fight like real champions, the Greatest Show in the Galaxy retreated up the entrance aisle, quite proud and quite happy with themselves.

Wow! Fantastic action Hyde. Just had a chance to get caught up on your fed.
Encubus is dangerous in every sense of the word and I believe he can take Endgame.
The Gladiators are brutal in your fed, wish they had it in them on my side of the galaxy but they just can't get rolling.
Some surprise wins on the last card with Sly Drury beating Bloodline and Reckless capturing the Interplanetary Championship.
By the way I'm totally stealing the King of Holovision tournament.
Can't wait to see whats next my friend.

Can't wait to see whats next my friend. Thanks for the compliments, man! Just so you know, the King of Holovision Finals match was originally planned to take place on the very next free holovision broadcast of the GWF (as seen in my 2087 fed somewhere around here). That way, the finals could be seen by anyone on free holovision, as a thanks to the station for the signing the GWF to a deal. Due to the extreme shortness of the 2119 'season' I changed it so that the Finals would take place at the event itself, still on PPV. In 2120, when I expand the schedule a bit more, I plan to revert back to the original format. So, if you do run a King of Holovision tourney, that's an extra bit for you to consider!

*****UPDATE***** Due to the combined efforts of Thrash of the Gladiators of Aethra and the entire Gamemaster team, mother and son Lorelei and Switchblade are now both laid up with injuries. Lorelei is expected to have recovered around Star Slam in June in 2 months. However, early reports indicate that she will probably return with her son, Switchblade, a month later at the end of July, when his injuries have been rehabilitated.
Now angered at the Gladiators increasing violence and disregard for his penalties, Massif suspended Thrash for a month. However, an unlikely name in the form of Latasha has stepped forward and asked for Thrash's suspension to be overturned, so that Latasha herself could deal with Thrash in the ring!
Skeptical, Massif has consented to this and added Latasha vs. Thrash to the May 10th edition of GWF WarZone: a card that is already shaping up to be the biggest GWF WarZone of the year and possibly ever! Also on this date, BOTH Galaxian titles will be defended, as Center Stage does battle against Genesis in a Cosmic Cage and Endgame, in a confrontation he personally requested, will face down the King of Holovision, Encubus!
Without a doubt, then next edition of GWF WarZone, taking place on May 10th, 2119, will be HUGE!

GWF Warzone MIRA CETI WAR MEMORIAL, CETUS MAY 10TH, 2119
Highlights of the last edition of GWF WarZone are shown, focusing on Reckless’ spectacular win of the GWF InterPlanetary Title over Payback, Center Stage’s count-out title defense over Genesis, and Encubus’ sneak attack on Endgame after the GWF Galaxian Champ’s match with Disaster!
After a brief welcome from Lord Nexus amidst the rocking War Memorial, the crowd explodes as Bloodline’s music hits and the biggest GWF WarZone of the year is underway!
Bloodline vs. Sly Drury w/ Thantos Bloodline squashes Drury, laying Thantos out and pulverizing Sly with a PERFECT COSMIC BIG BANG! Bloodline has taken his revenge for last week’s loss! (**) WINNER: BLOODLINE
AniMen Invasion vs. The Troubleshooters w/ Phantasy In a wildly out of control, back and forth bout, Minotaur made the best of this great opportunity and put Muss down with an AniMan Neck Snap! (**1/2) WINNERS: ANIMEN INVASION
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP Payback vs. Swarm Payback was in the game until the entire Gamemasters Team showed up, throwing him off and putting Swarm firmly in control. Payback was a tough customer, but was felled by the HORNET’S STING. (**1/2) WINNER: SWARM (NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO THE IP TITLE)
The Gamemasters circled in for an attack on Payback, but Swarm surprisingly came to Payback’s defense, making The Gamemasters momentarily rethink their plans and eventually retreat when the rest of the FDF appeared.
Stars & Stripes w/ Latasha vs. Havoc & Paralyze w/ Disaster Stars & Stripes had a bit of success, but were ultimately overwhelmed by the Gladiators, with American Guy falling prey to the PARALYZER in a handy win for the Aethrans. (*) WINNERS: HAVOC & PARALYZE
Tristan w/ Payback vs. The Betrayer w/ Tanck In a brief yet intense encounter, Tristan overcame the oppressive mat technique of The Betrayer and interference from Tanck to grab his second win over his nemesis with a Double Leg Kick! (**) WINNER: TRISTAN
After the match, Tanck grabs a chair from ringside and levels Payback from behind! He then slides into the ring and takes Tristan out the same way! As The Betrayer groggily gets to his feet, Tanck grabs him and as they both retreat up the entrance aisle, Tanck points to the hurting Titans and tells The Betrayer “That’s how it’s done around here!”
As Vin Strutter prepares to lead Center Stage to the ring for their Cosmic Cage tite defense, he suggests to the dejected Kill Prey that perhaps if the mighty hunter listened more closely to Strutter and added some ‘sizzle’ to his performances, that perhaps he would be booked more often. Because obviously, Kill Prey’s 0-4 record this year isn’t cutting it.
GWF GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS COSMIC CAGE MATCH Center Stage © vs. Genesis With the Cosmic Cage put up to keep Vin Strutter’s trickery out and all of the action in, these four men battled in what is assuredly a Match of the Year Candidate as everyone except Tauran was left bloodied and every man was left battered. After overcoming the savage Steele Freak and the slippery Amazing Mann, Tauran took the victory for his team by making Steele Freak submit to the TAURAN SHARPSHOOTER! (*****) WINNERS AND NEW GWF GALAXIAN TAG CHAMPIONS: GENESIS
Tauran and a bloody Anivar climbed to opposite corners of the cage and held their reclaimed gold high as Vin Strutter had a conniption outside the cage.
Latasha vs. Thrash Latasha survived Thrash’s roughhouse offense and two FEMME FATALE’S to hit a surprise FREEDOM FALL and create a big upset! (***) WINNER: LATASHA
Lord Nexus informs us that on the next installment of GWF WarZone, the last WarZone before Star Slam 2119 on Aethra, we will see two Championship matches as Shann-Ra will defend her title against BOTH Latasha and Phantasy in a Tirion Triple Threat Match, and Reckless will defend the IP Title against Swarm on Swarm’s home turf!
With the second Pay Per View extravaganza of the year, Star Slam 2119 fast approaching, the winner of tonight’s main event will go into Star Slam as Galaxian Champion! Can Encubus make his GWF PPV performances both majestic and of championship caliber? Or will Endgame, the Code Incarnate, march into Aethra wearing the one piece of gold in the galaxy that signifies he is the best warrior in all of known space?
GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP Endgame © vs. Encubus (KoH) w/ Thantos Encubus and Endgame exchanged maneuvers back and forth for a few minutes, but Endgame hit a Rydeen Bomb out of nowhere! Encubus kicked out handily, but was soon pulverized by an ULTIMA LEAP that knocked his wind out and led Endgame to a surprising, upset, squash-like title defense! (*) WINNER AND STILL GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPION: ENDGAME
Thantos looked as if he were about to have a stroke and Encubus was just as shocked. The crowd came absolutely unglued as Endgame was handed the Galaxian Title once more, staring intently down on the kneeling and frozen in disbelief Encubus. Encubus did not move an inch before Endgame had exited the ring with his Galaxian Title held high and made his way to the top of the entrance aisle. But at that moment, Bloodline appeared to a huge crowd pop, shook Endgame’s hand, and then looked sarcastically and condescendingly into the ring at the still frozen Encubus!
The last images of the night are Thantos turning red on the outside of the ring while Encubus, mouth and eyes wide open, kneels frozen in the center of the ring with hands outstretched.

WoW! Squash win for Endgame. Encubus must have been off his game for sure. I don't expect it to end there though, Encubus isn't a gracious loser.

GWF WARZONE ALPHERATZ SUN TOWER, ANDROMEDA MAY 31ST, 2119
Highlights of the last GWF WarZone roll, focusing on Genesis winning the Tag Belts in the cage, Endgame squashing Encubus, and Swarm becoming the Number One Contender to the IP Title!
As the Andromeda crowd rocks behind them, Lord Nexus and Vanity welcome us to the final GWF WarZone before Star Slam 2119! Lord Nexus informs us that we will see two Tirion Triple Threat Matches tonight, as Bloodline, Encubus, and Disaster will vie for the right to challenge Endgame at Star Slam for the Galaxian Title!
Vanity then interrupts and says that the gorgeous Shann-Ra will defend her title against both the phenomenally stunning Phantasy AND the lovely Latasha! Lord Nexus interjects himself to say that Reckless will also defend the IP Title against Swarm, and that many more of the matches tonight will have HUGE impacts on Star Slam; one of those matches being right now as AniMen Invasion’s music hits the speakers, the crowd goes nuts, and the final GWF WarZone before Star Slam 2119 is underway!
NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP TO GWF GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AniMen Invasion vs. Center Stage w/ Vin Strutter Minotaur came out brutally and overzealously, getting himself disqualified as Vin Strutter and his men giddily escape from ringside! Heartbreaking and infuriating for the home crowd! (dud) WINNERS BY DQ: CENTER STAGE w/ Vin Strutter
She Devil vs. Thrash She Devil didn’t have a chance as Thrash brutalized her en route to a win with a chokeslam. As she left the ring, Thrash looked into the camera and declared that she was coming for the Women’s Title. (*1/2) WINNER: THRASH
Stars & Stripes vs. Havoc & Paralyze US Male didn’t even get in the ring as Paralyze handily puts American Guy away with a Brutal Infliction. (**) WINNERS: HAVOC & PARALYZE
In the Greatest Show in the Galaxy locker room, we see Vin Strutter suggesting that Kill Prey could be so much more than Shann Ra’s bodyguard if he would only listen to his manager, and add some spice to his act.
Payback w/ Tristan vs. Tanck w/ The Betrayer In an exciting back and forth fight, The Betrayer saved Tanck from a PERFECT EXVENGE, but after taking a noggin knocker alongside his partner, could do nothing to help Tanck kick out of a Payback Time! (****) WINNER: PAYBACK
The Betrayer recovers from the noggin knocker and grabs a Stun Rod from beneath the ring! After whaling first on Tristan, The Betrayer leaps into the ring for Payback! But the Fighting Titan is ready with a steel chair, and chases The Betrayer from the ring! Meanwhile, Tanck grabbed Tristan, and used the Armored Tanck to slam him through the announcer’s table! This brought Payback down to ringside and Tanck took off, but was too slow and got clobbered by a steel chair shot anyway! As the Society of Death retreated a bit worse for wear up the entrance aisle, Payback knelt down beside Tristan, checking his condition.
The crowd roars as Swarm is in the back, preparing for his upcoming title shot. Suddenly, a slimy and unknown AniMan approaches Swarm, sticks out a webby hand and proclaims himself Swarm’s biggest fan! Swarm warily shakes the strange AniMan’s hand as the unknown explains that this is his first opportunity in the GWF, and that here, at the only GWF event on Andromeda this entire year, he is going to earn a GWF Contract and join the AniMen Team!
Swarm tries to say something when the babbling newbie interrupts him, telling him to watch a monitor during this next match, because the AniMen have found themselves their next big star tonight!
Plethador vs. Slave Beast w/ Epoch Slave Beast had a surprisingly hard time against the AniMan unknown, who with the crowd on his side was able to kick out of a CRY OF THE BEAST, but quickly fell to a second. (*) WINNER: SLAVE BEAST w/ EPOCH
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP Bloodline vs. Disaster vs. Encubus (KoH) Disaster never gets into the match as Bloodline crashes and burns on big moves repeatedly, allowing Encubus to capitalize, unload his devastating offense, and eventually bury his nemesis with a SECOND COMING! (*) WINNER AND NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP: ENCUBUS
Encubus grabs a mic as Disaster and Bloodline drag themselves from the ring. The King of Holovision declares that Endgame’s performance at the last WarZone was both a fluke and a robbery, but at Star Slam, if Endgame is as honorable as he says he is, he will defend the Galaxian Title in a 2 out of 3 Falls match!
GWF WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP TIRION TRIPLE THREAT Shann-Ra © vs. Phantasy vs. Latasha This was Latasha’s night as she pounded her rival Phantasy into the canvas, fought off Shann-Ra, knocking her to the floor, and taking the stunning upset win with a Catapult Body Press on the charging Phantasy! (**1/2) WINNER AND NEW GWF WOMEN’S CHAMPION: LATASHA
Latasha has no time to celebrate as Thrash hits the ring with a steel chair and lays out every woman that just competed! The New Women’s Champ takes the worst of it, as she takes a Gladiator Piledriver onto the chair before Thrash decides to leave the ring, a path of destruction behind her!
We see Reckless about to head to the ring for his IP Title defense, when out from a corner steps…Valour! Reckless gives Valour a warm greeting, but is snubbed as Valour states that he and Reckless were due a shot at the tag titles at Star Slam. He claims Reckless acted selfishly by “going and winning himself a singles belt” while Valour was out injured.
Reckless begins to defend himself but Valour once again snubs him, putting his hand up and beginning to walk away.
Valour: (with a slight sneer) Good luck tonight…Champ…
GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP Reckless © vs. Swarm Super pumped by the monster response from his home crowd, Swarm came out of the gates on fire, quickly taking firm control and almost ending the match with a HORNET’S STING! Reckless would not go down, however, and the exciting, hard hitting spot fest moved outside the ring, where Swarm got the crowd on its feet with a suicide dive over the ropes and to the outside! Reckless fought hard to keep his belt, but Swarm was over-the-top pumped up, and this was his night, capturing the gold on his home planet with a HORNET’S STING! (***1/2) WINNER AND NEW INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION: SWARM
Swarm goes from corner to corner, holding the Interplanetary Championship high into the air amidst the absolutely explosive Andromeda Crowd!
The last shots of the night are Swarm holding the title high into the air, standing on a turnbuckle and with a Star Slam 2119 sign in the background. By winning the IP Title on this final GWF WarZone before Star Slam, Swarm will go into the Aethran War Dome along with Genesis, Latasha, and Endgame as a GWF Champion!
