So, the very first CotG set I ever bought was GWF 2119 New Beginning, way back whenever it first came out. Since then I have tried several times to even complete one year of the federation because I have always put too much story into it, and as such continually manage to burn myself out. If you are familiar with my other feds, this one will be a bit different. I've decided to play hard catch-up with this, forgoing alot of story (which is very hard for me to do) and going with more concise, results based write-ups. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. So, here we go with the first card of 2119, the Deimos Perennial. And let's hope I'm completely caught up to all the Martial Law madness before the story arc ends!

DEIMOS PERENNIAL 2119 DEIMOS INTERGALACTIC ARENA JAN. 5TH, 2119
Commissioner Massif welcomes the live audience to the Deimos Perennial and declares that through the rubble and ruin of the old GWF has come a new and better SILVER AGE. He thanks everyone in attendance and says the GWF will continue to bring the greatest Professional Wrestling in the galaxy to it’s audiences, starting right now!
GALAXIAN TITLE TOURNAMENT Endgame vs. Sly Drury w/ Thantos Despite Thantos’ attempts to interfere, Endgame steamrolled Sly Drury, taking the win with an ULTIMA LEAP. (*) WINNER: ENDGAME
GALAXIAN TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT Center Stage w/ Vin Strutter vs. Genesis Amazing Mann takes a pounding and to save his premiere showcase, Strutter orders Freak to go berserk on Tauran, earning the disqualification after smashing Tauran in the head with a chair! (***) WINNERS: GENESIS BY DQ
GALAXIAN TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT Troubleshooters w/ Phantasy vs. AniMen Invasion w/ She-Devil Antak got isolated and planted with a Bombs Away DDT by The Bomb for the win. (*) WINNERS: THE TROUBLESHOOTERS w/ PHANTASY
GALAXIAN TITLE TOURNAMENT Swarm w/ She-Devil vs. Kill Prey w/ Shann-Ra Swarm came out with a vengeance and dominated Kill Prey. Shann-Ra distracted the referee to save her brother, but She-Devil pulled her from the apron and slapped her, allowing Swarm to use the HORNET’S STING to finish off his foe. WINNER: SWARM w/ She Devil
Both members of the FDF received a good pop as they entered the arena to do battle. The teammates shook hands as the bell rang and then retreated to their corners, ready to throw down.
GALAXIAN TITLE TOURNAMENT Bloodline vs. Switchblade Bloodline used crisp techniques to wear Switchblade’s legs out, allowing him to take the win with the CETUS MASTERLOCK. WINNER: BLOODLINE
GALAXIAN TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT Reckless Valour vs. Stars & Stripes Stars & Stripes made Reclkless Valour’s lack of continuity embarrassingly obvious, getting Valour angry enough to strike out at US Male with a VIOLENT OUTBURST. American Guy jumped into the ring to complain but distracted the referee, allowing Valour to crack Stars & Stripes own US Flag over US Male’s head, getting the pinfall! WINNERS: RECKLESS VALOUR
With his partner suffering from a small laceration across his head, American Guy was not happy with the outcome of the match, and let Reckless Valour know about it with several choice words and a certain ‘salute’.
GALAXIAN TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT Colonizers vs. Havoc & Paralyze The Colonizers survived a beating to isolate Havoc, but while the referee was accidentally distracted by Slave Beast, Paralyze delivered his Brutal Infliction to Epoch and placed his dazed partner on top of him for the 1-2-3. (***) WINNERS: HAVOC & PARALYZE
Epoch abused Slave Beast all the way to the back for his mis-step.
GALAXIAN TITLE TOURNAMENT Disaster vs. Encubus w/ Thantos Encubus lands two of his biggest moves, including the GAMEMASTER DDT only to see Disaster power out before a 1 count! Encubus got frustrated and knocked Disaster to the outside where Thantos applied his MASTERLOCK, but Encubus could not deceive the referee and the ref caught Thantos’ interference, disqualifying Encubus! (*) WINNER: DISASTER BY DQ
Thantos and Encubus were already pitching a fit, but when the holotron brought the Galaxian Championship Tournament Bracket graphics up and Encubus saw his name go dark and Disaster’s name advance, he got even angrier! Furthermore, a smirking Bloodline came to stand on the entrance stage, as if to mock Encubus for screwing himself out of the Galaxian Title!

GWF WARZONE Blitz! Studios, Mars Jan. 26TH, 2119
Highlights of action from the 2119 Deimos Perennial opened the Holovid broadcast before the camera began to pan over the large crowd in attendance during the opening pyro sequence. Without any hemming or hawing, The Troubleshooters music hit and the first GWF Warzone of the Silver Age was underway!
GALAXIAN TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT Genesis vs. The Troubleshooters w/ Phantasy Tauran weathers a beating but fights back, overcoming Phantasy’s attempts to interfere and putting Muss away with a double Equuleus Spinebuster with help from Anivar. (***) WINNERS: GENESIS
GALAXIAN TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT Reckless Valour vs. Havoc & Paralyze Reckless threw caution to the wind but just got brutalized by Paralyze. After pleading to be tagged in, Havoc dropped the ball and let his arrogance allow Reckless to make a comeback from nowhere with the FLYING HAZARD! (*) WINNERS: RECKLESS VALOUR
Paralyze was severely displeased with Havoc’s performance. As the Gladiators make a begrudging exit, our hosts and commentators Lord Nexus and Vanity explain to us that on the next GWF Warzone, a 6 Woman Elimination Match will take place to crown a new GWF Women’s Champion!
She Devil w/ Swarm vs. Shann-Ra w/ Kill Prey Both ladies fought hard and the match spilled to the outside where Kill Prey attempted to strike She Devil! Swarm flipped out and assaulted Kill Prey all the way to the back and as She Devil climbed back into the ring, she was met with a match ending MACHETE from Shann-Ra. (*) WINNER: SHANN-RA w/ Kill Prey
Muss was still hurting from earlier in the night and both Phantasy and The Bomb were miserable as all 3 made their way to the ring.
Latasha w/ Stars & Stripes vs. Phantasy w/ The Troubleshooters Phantasy pounds on Latasha, finally being able to make her submit to the SWEET SUICIDE. (**1/2) WINNER: PHANTASY w/ The Troubleshooters
Muss and The Bomb are still looking for a fight and jump into the ring to do something to Latasha! American Guy leaps into the ring with his American Flag and swings at The Bomb, but the big man moves and Phantasy gets cracked instead! US Male quickly pulls Latasha out of harm’s way as American Guy is a bit stunned! The Troubleshooters are pitching a fit as Stars & Stripes make their apprehensive exit. --Phantasy was injured
GALAXIAN TITLE TOURNAMENT Bloodline vs. Swarm Both competitors hold nothing back, going back and forth move for move until Swarm’s legs are forced to give out on him, slowing him down and leaving him vulnerable for a COSMIC BIG BANG. (**) WINNER: BLOODLINE
Encubus and Thantos are shown watching the match in their locker room with sour looks on their faces.
Lorelei w/ Switchblade vs. Thrash Despite Switchblade’s prescence, Thrash charged out behind Lorelei and took her by surprise ending the match quickly with a body slam turnbuckle smash. (*) WINNER: THRASH
As Lorelei looked on from the ring holding her neck, Thrash just shrugged her shoulders and threw her fists in the air, to the crowds boos. Lorelei will get a chance at revenge at the next Warzone in the 6-Woman Elimination Match for the GWF Women’s Championship.
GALAXIAN TITLE TOURNAMENT Endame vs. Disaster The momentum shifted to and fro many times in this solid match, but after surviving an ULTIMA LEAP and Northern Lights Bomb, Disaster was finally put away with a beautiful cross body from the top rope! (***) WINNER: ENDGAME
As both teams of Genesis and Reckless Valour make their way to the ring for the Finals of the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Tournament, Lord Nexus and Vanity remind us that at the next Warzone on Feb. 16th, in addition to seeing the GWF Women’s Championship decided, we will now see Bloodline vs. Endgame for the GWF Galaxian Championship!
GALAXIAN TAG TITLE FINALS Genesis vs. Reckless Valour Reckless gets isolated right away by Anivar, and then gets beaten down by Tauran, but makes a comeback, almost putting Tauran out! Anivar is able to make the save and eventually tags in, beating Reckless down and going for the cover. Valour made the save, but now Tauran jumped into the ring and tackled Valour outside of it, sending all four men spilling to the outside. After delivering a bodyslam on the outside floor to Reckless, Anivar rolled him back into the ring and put him away with a brainbuster followed up by the FULL NELSON DROP for the victory in a good match and to win the titles! (***) WINNERS AND NEW GWF GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: GENESIS
Commissioner Massif presented Tauran and Anivar the historic and prestigious GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championships as fireworks went off and the new champions, the FIRST champions of the Silver Age celebrated in the ring.

GWF WARZONE GWF LUNAR ARENA, EARTH MOON FEB. 16TH, 2119
The show opens with highlights of the last GWF Warzone, focusing on Bloodline and Endgame advancing to tonights finals as well as Genesis capturing the GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championships! The camera opens on the rocking Lunar Arena and after a brief welcome from Lord Nexus, we are underway with the first 2119 King of Holovision Tournament Qualifier!
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFIER Switchblade w/ Lorelei vs. Sly Drury w/ Thantos Both men leave it all in the ring, and despite Thantos’ interference, Switchblade is able to win this rough contest with a BLADE OF RETRIBUTION! Switchblade is one step closer to the $750,000 King of Holovision Grand Prize! (****) WINNER: SWITCHBLADE (QUALIFIED FOR THE 2119 KoH TOURNAMENT)
AniMen Invasion w/ She Devil vs. Center Stage w/ Vin Strutter Steele Freak bent the rules as usual to batter Minotaur, and after fighting of a comeback from Antak, tossed Minotaur to the outside where he began to assault him. But Minotaur lost it and fought back, using a steel chair to batter Freak and chase away the Amazing Mann, but costing he and Antack a DQ loss. (**1/2) WINNERS: CENTER STAGE w/ Vin Strutter by DQ
Lord Nexus and Vanity remind us that the first Pay Per View Event of the Silver Age is the 2119 King of Holovision Tournament on March 29th. It will feature a one night 8-man tournament, with the winner receiving the label of the King of Holovision for the year and a $750,000 Grand Prize. Lord Nexus reminds us that this tradition was started way back in 2087 to commemorate the GWF’s first holovision deal. He also states that the very first winner wasour own Commissioner Massif, who defeated Lord Nexus himself in the finals and went on to challenge Thantos for his first Galaxian Championship opportunity. It is a very special night, and a very prestigious tournament.
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFER Muss w/ The Bomb vs. American Guy w/ US Male American Guy has control early, but eventually Muss takes over and fights to stop Guy’s relentless comebacks. Guy gets Muss reeling and hits the ropes but gets tripped up by The Bomb, stalling him for a moment and allowing Muss to connect with a finishing MUSS EM UP as Guy charges at him. (*) WINNER: MUSS (QUALIFIED FOR KoH TOURNAMENT)
Vanity tells us that Guy deserved that loss because due to his ‘dastardly’ attack on Phantasy at the last GWF Warzone, the gorgeous shoe-in to win will not be able to compete in the next 5-Woman Elimination Match for the Galaxian Women’s Championship!
GALAXIAN WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP 5-WOMAN ELIMINATION MATCH Lorelei vs. Latasha vs. She Devil vs. Thrash vs. Shann-Ra -After a lot of brawling, Lorelei isolates She Devil and goes for a deathjump only to be pushed from the top by Thrash and right into a powerbomb from She Devil in mid-air that eliminates her! - Shann-Ra hits She Devil with a MACHETE as she tries to climb into the ring, and then ducks a clothesline from Latasha, hitting a surprise Snap Snare and eliminating her! -Thrash and Shann-Ra double team She Devil and whip her into a corner. Thrash whips Shann-Ra in for a spear, but She Devil moves, sending Shann-Ra crashing into the ring post! Thrash charges in, but She Devil ducks a haymaker and comes back with a savatte kick that knocks the Gladiator of Aethra out cold and eliminates her! -With Shann-Ra and She Devil the last women remaining, the fight became personal and Shann-Ra unloaded on She Devil, constantly applying her Huntress Claw. She Devil tried to fight back, and gained some offense, but got caught in the Huntress Claw a third time and was forced to submit! (***) WINNER AND NEW GWF WOMEN’S CHAMPION: SHANN-RA
Commissioner Massif handed the brutal beauty the prestigious GWF Women’s Championship as her brother, Kill Prey ran down to the ring to celebrate with her to the disdain of the crowd. While Vanity oogled Shann-Ra, Lord Nexus commented that if you thought that was crazy, you would love the next GWF Warzone as the GWF Interplanetary Title will be decided in an over the top-rope Battle Royal!
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFIER Payback vs. Tanck w/ Thantos In his first appearance of 2119, Payback beat Tanck like he stole something, but Tanck was able to recover and eventually threw Payback outside where Thantos applied the MASTERLOCK. But suddenly Bloodline ran down to ringside and got the referee to turn from Tanck, see Thantos’ interference, and disqualify his man! (*1/2) WINNER: PAYBACK by DQ (QUALIFIED FOR THE 2119 KoH TOURNAMENT)
While Tanck and Thantos pitched a fit at ringside, Payback proudly declared that now that he and Switchblade were officially in the tournament, on the next Warzone his returning buddy Tristan would make it a sweep for the FDF!
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFIER Swarm vs. Disaster Angered by his loss to Endgame at the last GWF Warzone, Disaster brutalized Swarm and won quickly with a RAMPAGE. (dud) WINNER: DISASTER (NOW QUALIFIED FOR THE 2119 KoH TOURNAMENT)
Reckless Valour vs. The Colonizers Valour got isolated and battered but Reckless gutted it out for his team, keeping The Colonizers on their toes and pinning Epoch with a cross body from the top while Valour brawled with Slave Beast on the outside! (***1/2) WINNERS: RECKLESS VALOUR
Bloodline gets a big pop as he heads to the ring for the main event, but as the Holotron begins to radiate a blazing white light, the crowd knows Endgame has arrived and goes wild!
GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS Bloodline vs. Endgame Both men traded moves back and forth for a few minutes until Endgame began to take over. Bloodline kept creating openings, but Endgame was able to shut them down. Desperate, Bloodline went up top for a crossbody but Endgame moved, sending Bloodline crashing into the canvas! After a big spinebuster and an ULTIMA LEAP, Endgame was finally able to put Bloodline down and end a highly competitive and sporting bout! (***1/2) WINNER AND NEW GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPION: ENDGAME
The crowd went wild as Commissioner Massif presented Endgame with the shimmering Galaxian Championship! Reckless ran to the ring to celebrate with his friend, and was followed in time by a less excited Valour. As fireworks began to go off in the rafters and on the Holotron, Endgame helped Bloodline to his feet and the holocast ended with Bloodline and Endgame shaking hands in the center of the ring!

GWF WARZONE PHILADELPHIA SPECTRUM, EARTH MAR. 8TH, 2119
The holocast starts off with highlights of the last GWF Warzone, including Switchblade, Muss, Payback, and Disaster qualifying for the 2119 King of Holovision Tournament and ending with Endgame holding the GWF Galaxian Championship proudly in the air as fire works go off behind him.
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFIER Minotaur w/ Antak vs. The Amazing Mann w/ Vin Strutter Thanks to Antak pulling Vin Strutter off the apron, Minotaur was able to hit the second MINOTAUR’S CHARGE of the match to win a competitive bout with his rival and qualify! (***) WINNER: MINOTAUR w/ Antak (QUALIFIED FOR THE 2119 KoH TOURNAMENT)
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFIER Valour w/ Reckless vs. Paralyze w/ Havoc Paralyze had his way with Valour until Valour was able to slip by with a VIOLENT OUTBURST, angering Havoc. Paralyze was in trouble as Valour hefted him up for the WARRIOR’S RAGE and went for the cover, but Havoc jumped into the ring and punded away on Valour, causing a disqualification! (*1/2) WINNER: VALOUR w/ Reckless by DQ (QUALIFIED FOR 2119 KoH TOURNAMENT)
Disaster suddenly hit the ring and leveled Reckless with a chair as Havoc and a recovered Paralyze hit Valour with an AETHRAN ATROCITY. The 3 Gladiators of Aethra then took turns delivering their finishers, Havoc hitting the FALLEN DREAMS, Disaster hitting the RAMPAGE, and Paralyze capping it off with a brutal PARALYZER! --Valour was injured
Stars & Stripes w/ Latasha vs. The Colonizers US Male tripped Slave Beast and together with American Guy hit the DAWN’S EARLY BLIGHT to effortlessly take the pinfall! (dud) WINNERS: STARS & STRIPES w/ Latasha
Epoch slapped a recovering Slave Beast and furiously ordered him to the back.
Still holding the back of his head, Reckless made his way to the ring without Valour’s company. As Kill Prey and Shann-Ra seemed to circle their foe, Endgame’s music hit and the Galaxian Champion came to stand by his rambunctious teammate!
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFIER Reckless w/ Endgame (GX) vs. Kill Prey w/ Shann-Ra (GW) Kill Prey toys with Reckless, sending a message to Endgame, but Reckless makes a huge comeback and puts Kill Prey in danger! Shann-Ra jumps up to break a pinfall attempt and tries to slip her brother a foreign object, but Endgame intercepts the object and gets the savage siblings disqualified! (***) WINNER: RECKLESS w/ Endgame by DQ (QUALIFIED FOR 2119 KoH TOURNAMENT)
Payback hypes up and introduces a returning Tristan who receives a good pop. The crowd anxiously await Tristan’s opponent, and is surprised to see that it is none other than Encubus, who seems to have seriously bad intentions. What an opponent to have to face for a debut for Tristan!
KING OF HOLOVISION QUALIFIER Tristan w/ Payback vs. Encubus w/ Thantos Tristan had Encubus reeling, but just got outclassed and made to submit in the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK. (*1/2) WINNER: ENCUBUS w/ Thantos (QUALIFIED FOR 2119 KoH TOURNAMENT)
As Tristan submitted, Tanck attacked Payback from behind. As Encubus kept the MASTERLOCK applied, and Thantos and Tanck got into the ring, Switchblade ran down and started to brawl. This drew Sly Drury out, who was followed by Bloodline as the FDF and Gamemasters engaged in huge brawl! But suddenly a man in a black mask leapt from the crowd with a stun rod and began to beat down the FDF, making his way to Tristan and trying to rip off his mask! The masked man almost succeeded until Payback and Switchblade got their hands on chairs and chased the Gamemasters away. The feud between the FDF and Gamemasters has just escalated as Thantos has recruited the bizarre Betrayer!
The official competitors in the 2119 King of Holovision Tournament are: Switchblade, Muss, Payback, Disaster, Minotaur, Valour, Reckless, and Encubus!
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH Bloodline vs. Disaster Bloodline was still feeling his brawl with the Gamemasters, allowing Disaster to take early control, but on the outside of the ring Bloodline dodged a charge and Disaster’s knees slammed into the ringside stairs, slowing him down for a CETUS MASTERLOCK and then a HUGE COSMIC BIG BANG for the comeback win. (*) WINNER: BLOODLINE
Endgame came out on stage to congratulate Bloodline, but to also say that if Commissioner Massif would not take action against Disaster and the Gladiators of Aethra, then Endgame would see Disaster in the ring at the GWF Warzone after the King of Holovision Tournament.
She Devil vs. Lorelei She Devil wins a ridiculously back and forth battle with a CANNONBALL CLOTHESLINE. (**1/2) WINNER: SHE DEVIL
Due to Valour’s injuries, he was unable to compete in the following battle royal. It is unclear if he will be able to compete in the 2119 King of Holovision Tournament, as well.
GWF INTER-PLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP OVER THE TOP-ROPE BATTLE ROYAL Featuring: Payback, Switchblade, Swarm, Tristan, Encubus, Tanck, Kill Prey, Sly Drury, Havoc, Steele Freak, Paralyze, Valour, Reckless, Epoch, Slave Beast, Antak -Epoch ducks a clothesline from Paralyze and Swarm gets blindsided and eliminated -Tanck dumps Slave Beast -Paralyze hooks Sly Drury with a High Tension and then flips him over and out -Switchblade and Encubus are fighting on the ropes when Havoc comes from nowhere and eliminates them both -Steele Freak back body drops Antak up and out -Epoch tosses Havoc after an Epoch Slam -Paralyze tosses Steele Freak after a Gladiator Piledriver -After a clash of colossus’ Paralyze finally big boots Tanck out of the ring -Reckless tosses Epoch after The Colonizer misses a turnbuckle splash -Paralyze eliminates Reckless -Tristan dropkicks Kill Prey from the ring -The Betrayer comes from the audience, jumps upon the apron and grabs Tristan’s mask, pulling him over the ropes! -As Switchblade and Bloodline run to help Tristan, Paralyze attacks Payback! But Payback is able to hit a brutal Wildman Spear and heft the gigantic Paralyze over the ropes for the win! (**) WINNER AND NEW GWF INTER-PLANETARY CHAMPION: PAYBACK
With the Gamemasters corralled into the entrance ramp by his teammates, Payback stood tall in the center of the ring as the first GWF Interplanetary Champion of the Silver Age!

*****UPDATE***** Due to the actions of Disaster, Paralyze, and Havoc, Valour has suffered a broken collar bone and will not be able to return to action until sometime around Star Slam. As such, he has been removed from the 2119 King of Holovision Tournament. When the random seeding for the tournament gets underway, the first draw will recieve a bye in the first round of competition and subsequently will recieve a large advantage over his adversaries.
In addition, Commissioner Massif has only levied a fine upon the Gladiator Team and nothing more. Galaxian Champion Endgame is displeased with this and has challenged Disaster to a match at the GWF Warzone after the King of Holovision Tournament.
How will all of this effect the 2119 King of Holovision Tournament?

2119 KING OF HOLOVISION TOURNAMENT OMNI CENTER, EARTH MAR. 29TH, 2119 A video package started the night off as we are shown all of the King of Holovision winners throughout the 32 years of the Tournament being held. When the package finally gets to the year 2119 the shot opens up on a sold out Omni Center as Commissioner Massif stands in the center of the ring. He says this a very prestigious tournament and that it can easily make the winner’s year. He knows from experience. He then thanks everyone for attending and he promises we will not be disappointed, proclaiming that it is time to crown a new King, and that the road to the coronation begins right now!
As Disaster comes down for his match along with Paralyze, he and Massif pass on the ramp and all 3 exchange stern looks.FIRST ROUND MATCH Muss w/ The Bomb vs. Disaster w/ ParalyzeMuss puts up a surprisingly good fight, actually putting the Aethran Captain in trouble, but Disaster is too intense and finally sent Muss packing back to the tag division with a RAMPAGE. (***1/2) WINNER: DISASTER w/ PARALYZE (ADVANCES TO THE 2ND ROUND)FIRST ROUND MATCH Reckless vs. MinotaurIn an incredible battle of polar opposite fighting styles, both men are forced to use their finishers multiple times, with each man reversing the others finisher at one point in the match. In the end it was Reckless’ conditioning that allowed him to catch Minotaur with a gorgeous cross body block from the top rope to win this grueling and exciting battle! (****) WINNER: RECKLESS (ADVANCES TO THE 2ND ROUND)Both weary warriors shook hands as the crowd gave them a huge amount of respect.
Our hosts Lord Nexus and Vanity stated that the King of Holovsion Tournament never fails to bring out the best in the GWF’s superstars. However, in the next First Round Matchup we may see the worst in one man as Encubus is desperate to make waves this year, and tonight faces the best friend of his nemesis in Switchblade! FIRST ROUND MATCH Switchblade w/ Lorelei vs. Encubus w/ ThantosEncubus came to the ring with a bitter countenance and destroyed Switchblade, unloading all of his annihilating offense and taking the pinfall with the SECOND COMING. (*1/2) WINNER: ENCUBUS w/ Thantos (ADVANCES TO THE 2ND ROUND)Encubus seemed to have a message to send through Switchblade and watched Switchblade drag himself away as Tanck and The Betrayer suddenly came down to the ring. Tanck proceeded to call the GWF Interplanetary Champion Payback out, saying he was a coward for taking the Tournament bye. Payback came out followed by Tristan and said that he had already beaten Tanck’s ass to get in the tournament, but that if Tanck wanted to fight then he and the “freak in the black mask” could throw down with the Fighting Titans: Payback and Tristan, right now! The Fighting Titans w/ Lorelei vs. The Society of Death w/ ThantosIn a wild match, Tanck gets isolated early and Payback, although he has an entire tournament to fight through tonight, goes all out. Tristan then runs circles around the big man until The Betrayer tags in and we see the two masked men go at it for the first time! The Betrayer tags Tanck back in and Tanck gets isolated again, with Tristan pouring a ton of offense into him until finally being able to keep him down with an ARCANA while Payback and The Betrayer brawled outside! (****) WINNERS: THE FIGHTING TITANS w/ LoreleiGWF GALAXIAN TAG CHAMPIONSHIPS Genesis © vs. Center Stage w/ Vin StrutterTauran was actually outwrestling Mann on the ground until Strutter used his Paralyzing Powder. Tauran was able to stumble back to Anivar to make a tag where Steele Freak came in and had a wild brawling bout with Anivar. Strutter eventually convinced Freak to tag in the Amazing Mann who locked Anivar in the CONTORTION! Blinded, Tauran had no hopes of saving his partner and after a few agonizing minutes, Anivar was forced to submit! (**1/2) WINNERS AND NEW GWF GALAXIAN TAG CHAMPIONS: CENTER STAGE w/ Vin StrutterThe crowd booed heavily as Amazing Mann and Steele Freak were handed the titles. Strutter jumped into the ring to celebrate as Steele Freak looked confusedly at the belt and put it on upside down.
The crowd waited eagerly to see the first two competitors in the 2nd Round and shared a small gasp as a lightly fatigued Reckless has been pitted against a slightly worn Payback! SECOND ROUND MATCH Reckless vs. PaybackHuman demolition derby doesn’t even begin to describe this as both wrestlers took turns wiffing on high risk maneuvers and crashing into the canvas! Reckless gained the momentum eventually and after being hit with huge suicide moonsault to the outside, Payback was unable to get back into the ring before a 10-count! Reckless has just beaten the Interplanetary Champion by count-out! (**1/2) WINNER: RECKLESS by countout (ADVANCES TO FINALS)SECOND ROUND MATCH Encubus w/ Thantos vs. Disaster w/ ParalyzeEncubus turned up the heat real quick here, using about 5 GAMEMASTER DDT’s in a row before hitting the SECOND COMING! With his leader in serious trouble, Paralyze leapt into the ring and attacked, causing the disqualification immediately as he attacked Encubus with the PARALYZER! (**) WINNER: ENCUBUS w/ Thantos by DQ (ADVANCES TO FINALS)Paralyze begins to set up for another PARALYZER when the rest of The Gamemasters team stormed the ring. After a tense standoff, Disaster and Paralyze retreated, but it only takes one PARALYZER to do damage and Encubus looked hurt. The Gladiators of Aethra, as expected, are just cutting a path of injuries through the GWF!
The crowd was electric as Bloodline made his entrance. With serious focus Bloodline awaited the arrival of the Galaxian Champion, and he did not wait long. The holotron blared a burning white light and out of it stepped The Man, Endgame! The crowd was on their feet as the champion made his way to the ring, handed off his title, and shook hands with his opponent as the match got underway!GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP Endgame © vs. BloodlineAfter trading maneuvers for a few minutes, Bloodline began to take over, working Endgame’s legs. But Bloodline crashed and burned hard on the outside after missing a suicide dive and Endgame went on the attack, unable to keep Bloodline down for long. Bloodline got to the champion’s leg again and got rolling, hitting Endgame with a desperation Bloodline Vertibreaker. Out of fatigue, Bloodline layed backfirst across Endgame for the pin, but Endgame wrapped his arm up and rolled over, just that quickly taking the surprise 1-2-3! (***) WINNER AND STILL GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPION: ENDGAMEBloodline was stunned but couldn’t be angry as Endgame plain out thought him. Both men shook hands once again, but suddenly went on the defensive as Disaster, Paralyze, and Havoc appeared at the top of the entrance way! Endgame said that he would see Disaster at Warzone, but Disaster just snarled and motioned around his waist for Endgame’s Galaxian Championship. After a staredown Disaster defiantly led his Gladiators away, but both men had sent their messages.
Out of 16 competitors entered into the Qualifiers, the King of Holovision Tournament has now come down to 2 fierce competitors: Reckless and Encubus! Will Reckless, the ultimate underdog, be able to capture royalty, or will the Next Generation Gamemaster finally make the waves in the GWF that he has guaranteed? Who will be the 2119 King of Holovision?KING OF HOLOVISION FINAL Reckless vs. Encubus w/ ThantosAlthough Encubus was able to compete, his neck was most definitely sore and, attempting to capitalize, Reckless came out well, recklessly, and got overwhelmed by Encubus’ relentless offense. The young and fiery competitor held out as long as possible, but was systematically destroyed and put down with a SECOND COMING. (**1/2) WINNER AND 2119 KING OF HOLOVISION: ENCUBUS w/ ThantosThe crowd exploded in boos as Encubus approached the Coronation Stage and was presented with the King’s Chalice, containing a large $750,000 checking card. Encubus set the heavy trophy down beside him and gazed into the multitude of victorious names carved into the cup before proclaiming to the crowd that he had only begun to make the waves he had promised and that these small ripples of victory will pale in comparison to the largest tsunami of all. Encubus will succeed where Bloodline has twice failed, and in defeating Endgame will become both a King and a Champion!
