Class is back in session! Brainstorm here with the report card for GWF Assault 10-9! Tonight, we’re on the path to GWF Paradise Lost! The GWF Assault roster has had time to settle in to their Sudden Death feuds, and now it’s time to kick things up a notch! With several major superstars out with injuries suffered throughout the year and most notably GWF Armageddon, the door has been opened for a new crop of talent to take center stage! Who will seize that opportunity? Tonight, we’ve got four huge matches, including our main event where new GWF Champion Avarice will team with the spotlight star, Dante, to take on former champion Terminus and the venomous beast, Rubicon! Also on tap, Darkseed will finally meet Cyclopes one-on-one in a GWF Assault ring! Let’s see who makes the grade!
The night opened with the WoD already in the ring and the Others coming down the ramp to a decent pop! It’s strange seeing Omni carry a GWF Tag Title belt while his partner Odyssey doesn’t have one! When are we finally going to see Omni and Rankor having to defend their GWF Tag Team Titles? Inside the ring, Omni tossed the belt to the ref and dove right at Flatliner! The Ravager wasn’t here to wrestle! Tonight, he was in the mood to fight! The dark Ravager, Odyssey, joined in the fight, catching Holocaust with a running kick right to the chest! Both Ravagers locked hands and Odyssey whipped Omni around, the champion catching the bigger Holocaust right on the chest with a spinwheel kick! The Others quickly hoisted Holocaust up and over with a suplex to the mat! From behind, Flatliner nailed Odyssey with a knee to the back as he attempted to rise! Before the weapon could turn though, Omni leapt up and drove Flatliner to the mat with a front first seated smash! Omni hit the side ropes, building up momentum for a drop low dropkick to the mouth and a two-count while Odyssey and Holocaust powdered out of the ring! The light Ravager pulled Flatliner off the mat, driving him into the corner and then lacing the weapon with a backhand chop! The Ravager quickly shot a double punch out into the weapon’s throat, knocking Flatliner down to a knee! Grabbing the weapon by the arm, Omni fell back with a shiranui, rolling to the side and tagging in Odyssey! The dark Ravager leapt over the top rope, landing on Flatliner with a Senton bomb for a two-count before Holocaust rushed the ring! That didn’t take long! Holocaust swatted aside Odyssey, leaving himself open to Omni! The champion unloaded with a kick to the head, but Holocaust held firm, answering with a big lariat to the light Ravager! The ref tried to intervene, but the Eridean shoved him aside and took Omni over the top rope with a Missile Shot! The ref had seen enough and stepped in front of the Eridean, forcing Holocaust back to his corner! Suddenly, the fans came to life! Rankor was racing down the ramp! The other GWF Tag Team Champion hopped onto the apron with his title belt in hand, waiting for Odyssey to rise up! When the dark Ravager did, Rankor plastered him with the title belt to the forehead! Odyssey flopped back as Rankor started up the ramp! Inside the ring, Flatliner draped an arm over Odyssey! Spotting the cover out of the corner of his eye, the ref turned and counted the improbable three! Rankor had just screwed the Others here tonight!
After the match, Rankor laughed into his mic! He looked to Omni and asked him if that was really the man he wanted as his tag team partner! Odyssey couldn’t even beat Flatliner! Rankor was disrespecting his own Sudden Death partner! The traitor told Omni that he was giving him one chance! One get out of jail free card! All he had to do was turn his back on Odyssey! It’s not like they were that close! In fact, some would say their mirror opposites of each other! Why not side with the general? Rankor dropped his mic and glared at Omni while we cut to another installment of Hegemony’s Insights!
This week on the genius’ couch was former TV Champion, Exodus! Hegemony welcomed him to the show! The genius said he was ready to cut through the malarkey! Was Exodus the reincarnated spirit of Atman as has been reported through several news sources? The fallen angel chuckled! He had heard those rumors too! Exodus was simply Exodus! He always has been and he always will be! The genius swore that he had read otherwise, but Exodus cut him off! The fallen angel knew that most people come on Hegemony’s Insights to get berated! To learn why they’re such failures! Sure, they set out with lofty goals of getting some insights from the genius, but deep down they know that’s where the program is going! Exodus was going to save Hegemony some time! The fallen angel had lost his surge! He had lost his push! As a rookie, Exodus was regarded as a future superstar! A man who could hold the GWF Title! He and Avarice stole the show night in and night out! Then, Exodus lost it! He questioned himself! His ability! His talent! Thanks to his close friend Gabriel, Exodus came out of his funk! He teamed with Shepard, garnering back a bit of his dignity! Then, the fallen angel finally captured the TV Title! Exodus thought he was on top of the galaxy! Until he saw what Avarice did at GWF Armageddon! At GWF Armageddon, Avarice showed the galaxy that even the little guy! Even the technical wrestler can be a champion! GWF Assault isn’t like that inferior Monday show! You don’t have to stand seven feet to compete! You don’t have to weigh four hundred pounds! On Thursday nights, talent is valued above size! That’s why Exodus was so proud to be on GWF Assault! That’s also why, he’s focusing all his efforts this year to accomplishing what Avarice has done before him! Exodus is resolving to become GWF Champion! Whether it means beating Avarice, Paralyze, Terminus, Mensar, whoever gets in his way; Exodus will accomplish his goal! Hegemony looked at the fallen angel and commented that with his card and drive, that might not be impossible! The oddsmakers were still betting against it, however! Exodus smiled and said it was lucky for him that he wasn’t a betting man! The genius shook Exodus’ hand and invited us to join him next week for an all new Hegemony’s Insights with the former duck-boy himself, Zed Marlowe! Speaking of Zed Marlowe, his match was up next!
After the break, we were back in the ring where the aforementioned duck-boy was stretching out the top rope! I’ll give him this, he’s certainly acting like he knows what he’s doing! When Shin Ko’s music hit, the fans gave the innovator a solid ovation! Shin Ko slapped hands with the fans, making his way down the ramp! Just what I always wanted: hand sweat from a career underachiever! Inside the ring, Shin Ko offered Zed a handshake, but the prince waved it aside! Hey, maybe there is something to like about this kid! Shin Ko shrugged his shoulders, locking up as the ref called for the bell! The stronger of the two, Ko drove Zed into the ropes, granting the clean break! Zed didn’t like that! A second lock-up ended with Shin Ko shifting his weight and pushing the prince all the way to the other side of the ring! As Shin gave another clean break, Zed shot a fist right out to the chin! The prince followed with a knee to the sternum and then a judo toss down to the canvas! Zed hopped onto the second rope, looking to flip back with a moonsault, but the innovator rolled under the ropes and to the apron! Impressively, Zed landed on his feet! Unfortunately, the innovator sprang back into the ring, slingshotting in with a clothesline right to the chin! Ko pulled Zed up quickly, whipping him over with a fisherman suplex for two! As the prince broke, Shin Ko rolled over, grabbing the duck-boy’s arm and locking on a cross knee rack! Luckily for Zed, he was close enough to the ropes to score the break! The innovator quickly broke, rising off the mat and letting the ref check on the prince! In the corner, Zed shoved the ref aside, telling him that he was fine! Zed rose to his feet, daring Shin Ko to try that again! The innovator smirked before rushing forward, connecting with a side kick to the sternum! Shin Ko turned, unloading with an Oriental spike, driving Zed down to the mat! The innovator quickly pulled Zed up, hoisting him onto his shoulder for the Independent Slam! Zed countered, shoving Shin Ko forward and into the ropes! As he rebounded, Zed hoisted him high into the air with a big back body drop all the way to the canvas! Shin Ko shot up—right into a Throne Strap to the back and a running bulldog! The fans were in shock! Zed Marlowe hit the side ropes, rushing forward and connecting with a running kick right to the face! Oh my stars! The prince quickly went for the cover, scoring the improbable three-count! I’d say a kick right to the face would constitute a three-count! That was ridiculous! After the match, Zed walked up the ramp, still huffing while the fans gave him a smattering of begrudging applause!
Backstage, Ventross was standing with Latasha! The TV Champion proudly wore his title belt on his shoulder as he listened to our young interviewer! Latasha said that the galaxy has been talking about Ventross of late, noticing how focused he’s been! What’s next for the Ravager leader? Ventross said that his next goal was the same goal he had had since his return to GWF Assault! He wanted not only to wipe Nicodemus from GWF Assault, he wanted to wipe Nicodemus from the record books! He wanted there to be no mention of the Essence! He wanted the Ancient to be a forgotten footnote! Now that he was the TV Champion, he was willing to up the ante! Next week, he wanted a match with the Essence! He wanted a match with him so bad that he, as the champion, would put his TV Title on the line to get it! If Nicodemus wouldn’t accept those terms, then he was a far bigger coward than Ventross ever thought! With that announcement, we cut back to commercial break!
Back from break, it was time for what had to be one of the most anticipated contests in recent memory! Finally, we were going to get Darkseed one-on-one with the one-eyed monster, Cyclopes! The Dominion Beast made his way down the aisle first, accompanied by a huge chant of “choward”! It sounded like the sheep were trying to battle it out to decide whether to call Darkseed a chicken or a coward! I doubt any of them would have the guts to say that to his face! When the music shifted and Cyclopes lumbered through the curtains, the fans went wild! The one-eyed monster was an imposing figure, casting a huge shadow down the ramp! Inside the ring, Darkseed didn’t seem the least bit afraid! The Dominion Beast was actually daring Cyclopes to get into the ring! As the behemoth stepped over the top rope, Darkseed had to crane his neck to look up at this monster! To his credit, Darkseed stepped to the center of the ring! He wasn’t backing down anymore! It looked to me like Darkseed wasn’t just confident! He was showing some arrogance! Maybe he had been setting the behemoth up all along! The ref signaled for the bell and this one was underway! While Cyclopes glared at his opponent, Darkseed reached back and unloaded with a slap right across the behemoth’s jaw! The fans were in shock! Cyclopes reared back and unloaded with a right hand, but the Dominion Beast quickly ducked under the blow and rammed his shoulder into the behemoth’s gut, looking to drive him back! Impressively, Cyclopes held his ground, raining down with a double ax-handle to Darkseed’s back! The beast dropped to both knees, catching a knee right to the face from the one-eyed monster! The fans were going crazy as Cyclopes pulled Darkseed up by the hair and shot him into the ropes! Hitting the ropes, Darkseed hung them, pulling himself back and sliding under the bottom rope! He was doing it again! The Dominion Beast made his way up the ramp, waving off this match and telling the fans to shut up when they started that chant again! Inside the ring, the ref shook his head in disbelief! Darkseed was fleeing the one-eyed monster again! After a slow ten second count, the ref called for the bell and raised Cyclopes massive right arm! Up the ramp, Darkseed looked back to the ring, waved off the match one more time and headed backstage! What in the stars was going on with him? Is he that afraid of the one-eyed monster?
Backstage, Latasha tried to get a word in with the Dominion Beast, but he shoved her aside and roared that he didn’t want to talk about it! Darkseed continued farther backstage while we cut to commercial break, the lasting image of Darkseed fleeing the arena frozen forever in my memory!
Back from break, Latasha was standing with a man that I think she could take in a fight, Dr. Barnabus! The interviewer asked Barnabus how he felt having such a commanding lead right now in his team’s Sudden Death feud with Paganax! The doctor scoffed! The fact that Darwin’s Legacy was even involved in this “feud” was a joke! The rankings showed it! Paganax and his beasts were good for only one thing—to show how superior Barnabus’ Ani-men truly are! Puma, Hadrian, even Nero, they were far superior to Paganax and his freaks! Sudden Death was proving that! In fact, Barnabus was so confident that this feud is over, he was officially entering Puma’s name into title contention! The doctor had filed all the proper paperwork and was hopeful that Commissioner Vanity, as intelligent a man as he was, would realize that Puma was being criminally wasted here on GWF Assault! For that matter, so too were the Ape-men! It was Barnabus’ hope that soon, Commissioner Vanity would give them what was their due—a spot in the main event title picture! Latasha thanked the doctor as we cut back to ringside!
Back at ringside, it was time for the main event! Through the curtain first, Terminus and Rubicon walked together as a unified force, former commissioner Cordanus behind both men! Cordanus spouted their greatness, telling the fans that it was only a matter of time before Terminus regained his GWF Title and Rubicon broke Dante in half! Inside the ring, the two representatives of the Elite Circle waited impatiently for their opponents while the fans booed loudly! When Dante’s music hit and that single lone spotlight shone on the curtain, the fans went wild! Dante burst through the curtain, taking a bow and slapping hands with the first few fans! Halfway down the ramp, Dante turned and looked back up for his tag team partner! When Avarice emerged, I think the cheers got louder, as impossible as that might be to believe! The GWF Champion emerged from the back, proudly wearing his GWF Title around his impressive waist! Avarice looked at Dante and nodded before tossing aside his cloak! Both men quickly raced down the aisle, sliding into the ring while Cordanus quickly fled the squared circle! The ref called for the bell as all four men locked up! The smallest man in the ring, Dante dove right into Rubicon’s tree trunk legs, trying to tackle the beast down to the mat! Instead, Rubicon unloaded with a double ax-handle to the back! To the side, Terminus peppered Avarice with boots as the GWF Champion tried to rise to his feet! As Avarice rose to a knee, Terminus pulled him in tight, looking for a suplex! Instead, the champion countered with a shot right to the ribs, staggering back the surprised Aran! Avarice quickly leapt up, driving Terminus to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker, prompting the former champion to powder out of the ring! Avarice followed behind, but the ref cut him off and ordered the GWF Champion back to his corner! Inside the ring, Rubicon pulled Dante up off the mat, looking for a scoop slam! As the beast hoisted him up, Dante raked Rubicon’s eyes, dropping back down to the mat! The spotlight star hit the side ropes, looking to build some momentum, but from behind, Cordanus tripped him up! As the Italian turned to yell at Cordanus, Rubicon surged forward, nearly taking the spotlight star’s head off his shoulders with a running boot! The venomous beast pulled Dante back off the mat, launching him into the air and toward the Aran, Terminus! Standing on the spotlight star’s chest, Rubicon made the tag to Terminus, working the ref’s five-count before leaving the ring! The former GWF Champion quickly pulled Dante up, unloading with a forearm uppercut and a Sambo suplex down to the mat for two! Terminus again pulled Dante up quickly, driving a knee to the side of his head! The Aran hit the side ropes, exploding forward with a kneelift that sent the Italian tumbling out of the ring! While Terminus distracted the ref, Rubicon pulled the Italian up and rammed him kidney-first into the ring apron! Avarice made his way around to protest, but the beast tossed Dante into the ring quickly and hopped back onto the apron! Avarice glared at Terminus in the ring as he pulled the Italian up, lifting him into the air and dropping him down to the mat with that Aran Drop of his! Avarice slid into the ring, breaking the count at two and irritating the official! With the ref ordering Avarice out of the ring, Rubicon illegally switched into the ring, stomping the spotlight star’s head! Rubicon pulled the Italian up off the mat, driving him into the corner with a big running crush! The venomous beast took a step back and shot forward with a pole ram right to the ribs! It’ll take more than tape to hold those together this weekend! What an impact! The beast pulled Dante up by the hair, slapping his face before scoop slamming the Italian down to the mat! Oh no! Rubicon was going upstairs! Outside the ring, Cordanus pleaded with the beast to change his mind, but Rubicon had his mind made up! He was going to go for that patented one in a million moonsault of his! With cameras flashing, Rubicon flew back with the galaxy’s biggest moonsault! Unsurprisingly, Dante rolled forward and under the bottom rope, letting Rubicon crash face-first to the canvas! The Italian slowly rose up on the apron as Rubicon stood inside the ring! The Italian yanked on the top rope, flying into the ring with a big lariat! Somehow, Rubicon didn’t go down! The Italian followed with a kick to the knee and a leap soccer kick to the skull! The beast stumbled back into the ropes where Dante leapt up and flew into him for a tornado DDT! Rubicon showed his power, holding firm and tossing Dante over the top rope onto the apron! As the beast lunged forward with a lariat, Dante ducked and leapt back into the ring, diving toward Avarice for the tag! The fans went ballistic as Avarice slipped through the ropes, nailing Rubicon with a right hand! A second right hand! A third staggered the venomous beast back into the ropes! From the side, Terminus made the blind tag as Avarice shot his one-time running mate into the far ropes and unloaded with a high elevation dropkick! The beast stumbled near the ropes and Avarice exploded forward with a big running clothesline out of the ring! From behind, Terminus nailed Avarice’s head with a running elbow hammer! The Aran quickly locked Avarice’s arms, hoisting him high up into the air and driving the GWF Champion down with the Hammerlock Slam! Outside the ring, Cordanus grabbed Dante from behind, choking the Italian as he tried to regroup in his corner down on the mat! The ref was in perfect position for Terminus’ cover and counted the three-count much to the chagrin of this capacity crowd! Avarice had only just gotten into the match, but that blind tag cost him! He never saw Terminus coming! That’s exactly what happens when a singles star enters into tag team wrestling! It’s hard to condition yourself to look behind you when you’re used to one opponent! Of course, let’s not take anything away from Terminus! The former champion looks like he’s learned from his mistakes and it’s just a matter of time before he wins back the GWF Title! We’ll see next week who makes the grade!

Class is back in session! This is Brainstorm with the report card for GWF Assault 10-16! I know all of you fans are buzzing about GWF Paradise Lost and Terminus’ return match with Avarice, but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves! We’ve still got several weeks to get there and several weeks of top notch GWF Assault Sudden Death action! Tonight, Commissioner Vanity had signed four huge matches, including a TV Title main event between two men whose entire careers are on the line in Sudden Death! Also tonight, one-half of the GWF Tag Team Champions will be in action as well as Godsend, Exodus, and Euritar! We’re filled to the brim with superstars tonight so let’s see who makes the grade!
The night opened with Terminus standing in the center of the ring! The former champion wore his customary three-piece suit while he waited for the fan reaction to die down! Finally, the Aran spoke! Terminus told the capacity crowd that he was not a patient man! He didn’t get to this pinnacle of perfection by waiting for his opportunities! By biding his time! No, Terminus made it to the top because he knew what he wanted and he took it! That’s why, Terminus was pulling his name out of the GWF Paradise Lost title hunt! The fans seemed shocked! Instead, Terminus’ lawyers had drawn up the requisite paperwork for a GWF Title Match right here live on GWF Assault next week! The fans went wild! I know they don’t like Terminus, but the fans love free-TV title matches! Terminus adjusted his tie before saying that the fans should be cheering him! He was going to be a two-time GWF Champion next week when he finally eliminates Avarice once and for all! The Aran looked into the camera and addressed the current GWF Champion directly! Everybody gets a little lucky, the former champion stated! Everyone has a good day! Avarice’s good day was at GWF Armageddon! Unfortunately for him, next week, Avarice’s luck will run out! Terminus glared straight ahead! Next week, the Blackthorn’s luck will run out! With that, Terminus readjusted his tie again and made his way out of the ring while we cut to an early commercial break!
Back from the break, we were right back in the ring where Raze was flexing for the crowd to a small pop! Oh how the mighty have fallen! I really thought two years ago that Raze was going to be a future star in this business! Backstage rumblings that I’ve been hearing suggest the impeccable one’s head might be on the chopping block, win or lose Sudden Death! He had a chance tonight to get his name back in the papers with a match against one of the most controversial stars in the GWF right now! Rankor came down the ramp with his GWF Tag Team Title belt slung over his shoulder! The traitor stepped into the ring, dropping the belt on the apron and shoving the ref aside! Raze gave the traitor a pose, flexing his muscles to a louder pop from the fans! The Ravager answered with a punch right to the impeccable one’s throat! As the ref scrambled to ring the bell, Rankor shot Raze into the ropes, lifting him up and over with a high elevation back body drop! The impeccable one stumbled to his feet, catching an uppercut to the bottom of the ribcage and a gutbuster to the mat! The champion took a step back before falling forward with a headbutt right to Raze’s already ailing ribs! This was turning into a dissection! Pulling Raze up, Rankor nailed him with another uppercut to those ribs, followed by a headbutt to the back! The traitor hoisted Raze over, driving him to the mat with a reverse suplex for two! Grabbing Raze by the hair, Rankor shot the impeccable one into the ropes, catching him as he rebounded and driving him down to the mat with a vicious spinebuster near the ropes! With the fans sitting in stunned silence, Rankor pulled Raze by the hair under the bottom rope and took a step toward his legs to a loud booing! The ref admonished Rankor, telling him to just end it now, but Rankor wasn’t done! The traitor grabbed both legs and fell back to the mat, slingshotting Raze up with that Guilty of Treason attack! The traitor slowly rolled over Raze, hooking the far leg for the academic three-count!
After the match, Rankor grabbed his title belt and started to leave the ring but was interrupted by familiar voices! Omni and Odyssey asked Rankor where he was going! Specifically, where was he going with their property? Rankor patted the belt and grinned! Odyssey roared that he wanted his GWF Tag Team Title belt back! Rankor held his arms out, inviting Odyssey to come down and get it! As the Others started down the ramp, Commissioner Vanity made his presence known! The commissioner led his security team down the ramp, ordering everyone to just calm down! Vanity knew that this was a tricky situation, but he wanted to resolve it in the ring, not out here in the aisle! The commissioner was looking into solutions, but for now, this issue was tabled! And if either Rankor or the Others pushed the issue until Commissioner Vanity had a resolution, they’d all be stripped of their titles and suspended without pay! Whoa! Leave it to Commissioner Vanity to up the ante! What an announcement!
After a commercial break, the sheep were cheering for the angel of vengeance, Gabriel! You know, I don’t like some of our superstars! Guys like Shepard just rub me the wrong way! No one is that good all the time! Or Shin Ko! I don’t like them, but I respect the talent that Shepard and Shin Ko have! They’re winners! But when you sheep cheer Gabriel just because he’s a good guy, it makes me sick! The guy never wins! Thankfully the lights dimmed and out came a proven winner! A three-time former champion! The Great Evil, Godsend, made his way down the ramp to awkward silence! The Great Evil stepped into the ring, slowly removing his robe as the lights came back up! Following several feet behind the Great Evil was the Dominion Beast, Darkseed! What was he doing out there? The ref patted down the Great Evil, but Gabriel was tired of waiting! The angel shoved the ref aside and nailed Godsend with an open hand chop! A second left a red impression along the Great Evil’s chest! Grabbing the 5th Realmer’s arm, Gabriel shot Godsend into the ropes, lowering his head too soon for a back body drop! Godsend answered with a kick right to the head and then a big lariat down to the mat! The Great Evil slowly pulled Gabriel off the mat, yelling for Darkseed to watch him! Godsend then unloaded with a rising forearm uppercut! What a shot! Gabriel stumbled all the way back into the ropes from the impact! The Great Evil was quickly on the attack again, locking his arms around Gabriel’s head and applying his Speak the Devil sleeper hold! The sheep actually started chanting Gabriel’s name! Reaching down deep, the angel of vengeance started to lift Godsend up! Impressively, Gabriel hoisted the Great Evil into the air, falling back into the corner for the break! The fans roared even louder as Gabriel started to shake loose the cobwebs! Godsend turned—right into a fist to the jaw! A second fist put the Great Evil down on the mat! As he rose again, Gabriel grabbed the three-time former champion by the neck and rushed forward with a running neckbreaker to the mat for two! That would have been one of the biggest upsets in GWF Assault history! The angel of vengeance looked at Godsend with scorn before starting up the ropes! Where was he going? On the top rope, Gabriel gave Godsend one last look before turning around for that Judgment Day moonsault of his! Suddenly, Godsend kipped to his feet, rushing forward and grabbing the angel of vengeance by the tights! Gabriel never saw it coming! Godsend drove him viciously to the mat with a Razor’s Edge powerbomb that he calls Hell’s Threshold! Three seconds later and the Great Evil had not only won this Sudden Death match, he had punctuated it with a vicious exclamation point top rope drop!
After the match, the Great Evil demanded the house mic! Godsend roared at Darkseed that that was how Dominion handles it’s business! The Great Evil then slapped Darkseed across the jaw and told him to wake up! It was time for Dominion to take over their feud, not merely tread water! The Dominion Beast held his chin, anger welling up in his eyes! As he clenched his fist, the fans erupted! Rushing down the ramp was Cyclopes! The one-eyed monster lumbered onto the apron and over the top rope! By the time he hit the ring though, Godsend and Darkseed had both bailed out! It looks like neither man wanted a piece of the one-eyed monster here tonight! As we cut to commercial break, Godsend and Darkseed backpedaled up the ramp, both men looking like they had just survived a near death experience! With Cyclopes, maybe it was!
Backstage, our cameras rushed quickly to the scene of a venomous beast attack! Rubicon had struck again! As the cameras arrived, Rubicon had Dante in a side headlock, nailing him with repeated left hands to the top of the head! The beast let Dante stumble back, Rubicon ripping a wooden plank from a backstage pallet! As the Italian turned his head, Rubicon unloaded with a shot right to the ear! Another shot to the ribs doubled over the spotlight star! Rubicon slammed the plank down one more time, shattering it over the back of Dante’s skull! Security rushed to the scene, but the beast was too strong! Too uncontrollable! Rubicon flung back his arm, taking down one of our guards and earning the beast a hefty fine, I’m sure! Suddenly, the crowd came to life! On the Galactitron, Euritar rushed to the scene, tackling Rubicon around the waist and driving him into the wall! The punk continued to hold the beast while Rubicon rained down with ax-handle blows to the back, driving Euritar to a knee! Thanks to the assist from the punk, security managed to surround Rubicon and contain the beast! Still, Rubicon had done his damage tonight! Dante was going to need medical attention and Euritar had taken a few blows that may well hurt his chances in his match tonight! A match that was scheduled for right that moment!
Out in the arena, the fans gave Exodus a huge ovation as he dropped down from the ceiling! Inside the squared circle, Exodus asked for the house mic! The fallen angel said he understood if Euritar wanted to postpone their match tonight! They could do it another time if it was up to Exodus! The fans approved of that sportsmanship! An even louder pop followed when Euritar staggered through the curtain! The punk said it would take more than Rubicon and a few blows to keep him from making a match! Tonight, one hundred percent or not, Euritar came to wrestle! The fans erupted as Euritar tossed the mic down and made his way into the ring! Exodus offered the punk a handshake as he rose, which Euritar accepted! Accepted only to get the upperhand! The punk pulled Exodus in tight, whipping him over with a deep armdrag down to the mat! The fallen angel exploded up, right into an elbow to the gut! The punk grabbed Exodus by the neck and shot him into the corner, following with a running knee to the kidneys! As Euritar hoisted Exodus up onto the top rope, the fallen angel came to his senses, firing with a back elbow to the jaw! A second staggered the punk back a step giving Exodus time to turn and ready himself! Euritar exploded forward, but Exodus caught him with a knee to the face followed by a flip over neckbreaker to the mat for two and a loud ovation! The fallen angel quickly pulled Exodus up, whipping him over with a fisherman suplex for another two-count! That was a new one from the former TV Champion! Exodus was right back on the attack, pulling Euritar up and unloading with a backhand chop to the chest! The fallen angel shot Euritar into the ropes, hitting the side ropes for some momentum of his own! As both men rebounded, Exodus took to the air for a cross body block, but the punk managed to roll forward, ducking the blow! Exodus hit the mat so hard that he bounced back to his feet, just as Euritar rebounded and flew forward with a flying forearm to the jaw for two of his own! The punk quickly pulled Exodus up by the arm, whipping him overhead with an elbow slam to the mat for another two-count! The fans didn’t seem to know who to cheer for tonight! They were going back and forth in this one! The punk yanked Exodus up again, this time by the hair, and rammed him into the top buckle! Euritar quickly locked Exodus’ neck, hoisting him up onto the second rope! Didn’t he learn his lesson the first time? With cameras flashing, Euritar yanked the former TV Champion off the second rope, driving him to the canvas with an elevated snap suplex! What an impact! That near-superplex took it’s toll on Euritar as well, leaving the punk unable to make the immediate cover! When he did cover, Exodus managed to shoot a shoulder out at two! What a match! Slowly, Euritar staggered up to his feet, Exodus rising to his knees before the punk unloaded with a running knee to the chin! Euritar hooked Exodus by both arms, looking for a butterfly suplex, but the fallen angel countered with a standing back body drop! Again the sheep went wild! Exodus collapsed forward, the ropes the only thing holding him up as Euritar rose to his feet again! The punk rushed forward, but Exodus sidestepped answering with a kick to the ribs! Hopping onto the second rope, Exodus unloaded with his Flight Kick right to the jaw! What a shot! The ref was in perfect position for the count as Exodus crumbled on top of the punk! Euritar, the consummate ring veteran, had the presence of mind to drape his boot on the bottom rope, just saving this match! The fans couldn’t believe it! Slowly, Exodus rose to his feet! The fallen angel grabbed Euritar by the neck and pulled him up into position for that Kingdom Come piledriver of his! Instead, Euritar countered, sliding to the side and trying to lock on his Merciless submission! The fallen angel had enough wherewithal to counter with a side elbow and a knee to the chin! As Euritar staggered back, the fallen angel hopped onto the second rope for another Flight Kick! Exodus went to the well once too often, the punk ducking under and behind the blow! As Exodus landed on his feet, Euritar spun around, unloading with his patented Scorpi Suicide Kick! Three seconds later, Euritar had won one of the most intense GWF Assault matches in recent memory! What a match between these two superstars! After the match, Euritar slid out of the ring, giving a groggy Exodus a look of respect! Respect from the punk? If that isn’t a glowing endorsement, I don’t know what is!
As we headed to commercial break, our cameras cut to an all-new installment of Hegemony’s Insights! Joining the genius tonight was the former duck-boy, Zed Marlowe! Hegemony tried to welcome Zed to the show, but told him in all honesty that he wasn’t sure what to think about the duck-boy joining him on his couch! In all his months doing Insights, Hegemony had never welcomed anyone with quite the poor win/loss record as Zed Marlowe! The fact that Zed even has a job continues to astound the genius! How many matches has Zed lost now, the genius asked! More than enough, Zed calmly stated! And yet, hope springs eternal, Hegemony asked! Well, the prince replied, if a guy like Hegemony who never won a match in his career can get a high profile interview segment, than a man with actual talent like Zed Marlowe, the stars are the limit! The genius didn't take kindly to that, and I don’t blame him! Who is Zed Marlowe to talk to a genius like that? Zed said that he wasn’t here tonight to talk to Hegemony or answer his condescending questions! He wasn’t even here to be confused by card levels and handbooks…whatever that meant, he said to the side! What Zed Marlowe was on Hegemony’s Insights to do was declare himself a new man! A man willing and able to take on the challenges of leading the ROC! Zed knew that so many others mocked Aegis for choosing the prince as his second-in-command for Sudden Death! Who’s laughing now? Hegemony raised his hand! Zed slapped the hand down saying that if Hegemony wrestled as big a match as he talked, he’d be where Avarice is right now! Zed was shooting for that horizon himself! Maybe he was the duck-boy to start his career! Maybe he toted around Jack of Diamonds’ bags to get on GWF Turmoil! That was a long time ago! Now, with a chance to really shine in the spotlight, Zed Marlowe was going to prove that he had what it took to be a star in the GWF! And Zed wasn’t going to waste that opportunity! The prince stood up, shaking his head as he looked at Hegemony and walked off camera! The sheep in the arena cheered him, but I think that just shows how poor-mannered Zed Marlowe really is!
Back from break, it was time for our main event! Coming down the ramp first was the TV Champion, Ventross! It’s rare to see a champion come out first in defense of his title, but I guess Ventross was tired of waiting! Idiot! The champion tossed the title belt to the ref and waved for Nicodemus to come out! The Essence’s music blared, but Nicodemus was nowhere to be seen! The announcer called for Nicodem us again, but again no response! Suddenly, the fans started to jostle! Nicodemus hopped the guardrail and slid into the ring behind Ventross! Suddenly, the champion turned, catching the Essence with a big right hand! A second rocked him back into the ropes as the ref called for the bell! Ventross grabbed Nicodemus by the waist and lifted him up, depositing the challenger to the canvas! Don’t look for wristlocks and armbars here tonight in this one! The champion stomped away at Nicodemus, driving his heavy boots deep into the challenger’s chest! Hitting the side ropes, Ventross went to drop all his weight down with a splash, but the challenger answered with two knees right to the sternum! The Essence slowly rolled over, grabbing Ventross by the hair and nailing him with a knife-edge thrust to the throat! Nicodemus followed with a backhand chop to the chest and a vicious heart punch, dropping the champion to a knee! Hitting the side ropes, Nicodemus fired back with a neck-snapping clothesline for two! The Essence slowly pulled Ventross off the mat, nailing him with another backhand chop and then a spinebuster to the canvas for a close two-count! That was a message blow there! The challenger slowly taunted Ventross, driving his boot to the champion’s head as he tried to rise! Grabbing the big Ravager from behind, Nicodemus hoisted him over, dropping the champion to the mat with a belly-to-back lift slam! I think he could have had the title right then if he went for the cover, but Nicodemus wanted to inflict some more punishment! The Essence climbed onto the second rope, measuring up Ventross for a falling fist drop! At the last second, Ventross answered with a boot right to the chest! As the challenger fell back into the corner, Ventross slowly rose to his feet! Nicodemus charged forward—right into Severed Ties to the mat! Unfortunately, Ventross was still too groggy to capitalize! When he did finally make the cover, Nicodemus managed to kick out at two and three-fourths! The champion slowly pulled Nicodemus up, whipping him into the corner and following behind closely with a running shoulder spear! As the challenger started to stumble forward, Ventross pushed him back and unloaded with a right hand! A left hand! A vicious onslaught of blows! The fans were going crazy as Ventross continued to hammer away at the defenseless challenger! Finally the ref did his job and stepped in, forcing Ventross back away from the Essence! With the ref distracting Ventross, the Essence reached into his suit, pulling out a small pipe! Ventross shoved the ref aside and rushed forward—right into a shot to the side of the head! Nicodemus quickly collapsed onto Ventross as the ref dropped down for the count! At two, the ref stopped and looked over at something! Nicodemus had dropped the pipe on the canvas! He thought he tossed it out of the ring! The official grabbed the pipe and pointed at Nicodemus! The challenger denied it, but the ref called for the bell anyway! Where was his proof! As Nicodemus towered over the official, threatening to strike him if he didn’t reverse his decision, the fans came to life! Ventross was back up! The Ravager nailed Nicodemus with two more hard blows sending the Essence scrambling through the ropes and retreating back up stage! He should be leaving with the TV Title right now! The ref stole one from Nicodemus here tonight! One night, Ventross’ luck will finally run out! We’ll see next week who makes the grade!

Class is back in session! Brainstorm here with the report card for GWF Assault 10-23! We are on the path to GWF Paradise Lost and what promises to be another stellar show from the greatest commissioner in the GWF, Vanity! Can you believe that this guy is really serious about stepping down as commissioner? Hopefully Grogan and the short-sighted committee step up their offers to keep the greatest commissioner in GWF history right here on GWF Assault! Forget GWF Paradise Lost for one night though! Tonight, GWF Assault felt like a PPV all on it’s own and on free-TV! Of course that’s because tonight, in our main event, new GWF Champion Avarice will defend his title against the former champion, Terminus! What a match that’s going to be! Let’s see who makes the grade!
The night opened with Sycophant and Gabriel already in the ring! With so much action tonight on GWF Assault, Commissioner Vanity wasn’t wasting a minute! The ref called for the bell and these two superstars locked up, the angel of vengeance driving Sycophant back into the corner! As Gabriel granted the clean break, Sycophant plugged him with a thumb to the eye and then a kick to the inside of the left thigh! The ref admonished the sadomasochist, but the blow looked clean to me! Sycophant grabbed Gabriel in a tight headlock, really wrenching the angel’s neck as he tried to grind him to the mat! Gabriel powered out, lifting Sycophant off the mat and dropping him back to the canvas! Impressively, the deviant landed on his feet, leaping up and catching Gabriel as he turned with a kick to the side of the head! As Gabriel fell forward, Sycophant locked his legs around his neck, applying a very suggestive head scissors between his legs! The fans were roaring for Gabriel to break the hold, stomping their feet wildly as the angel started to pound the mat with his free arm! Reaching down deep, Gabriel pulled himself toward the bottom rope, finally gaining the break after nearly a minute and a half in that debilitating hold! The fans went wild as Gabriel staggered to his feet, pulling himself up with the ropes! From the side, Sycophant nailed the angel with a knee to the bottom ribs! A backhand chop stumbled the angel of vengeance farther along the rope path! Sycophant rushed forward, looking to clothesline Gabriel out of the ring, but the angel of vengeance countered with a lift-up inverted atomic drop! As the deviant staggered back, Gabriel unloaded with a hard right hand to the skull! A second rocked the deviant back into the corner! Grabbing Sycophant by the arm, Gabriel shot the deviant across the ring hard into the opposite corner! Gabriel rushed across the ring, nailing Sycophant with a running spear to the chest that had both men down on the mat for a minute! Suddenly, the fans sprang to life! The venomous beast was here! What was Rubicon doing coming down the ramp?
Rubicon stepped into the ring just as Gabriel rose to his feet! The beast grabbed Gabriel by the throat, lifting him high into the air and then whipping him down to the mat with a back-breaking chokeslam! The ref called for the bell while Rubicon yanked Sycophant off the mat, hoisting him up and down with a vicious spinebuster! The venomous beast had just cleared house here tonight, but for what reason? The fans booed loudly as Rubicon looked at his handiwork and grinned! Stepping back over the top rope, Rubicon silently made his way up the ramp and toward the backstage area! What was that all about?
As we went to commercial break, it was time for another installment of Hegemony’s Insights! Tonight, the genius welcomed Darkseed to his couch! Hegemony welcomed Darkseed to the show, telling him he didn’t need to worry, Cyclopes was far from his couch! Darkseed took offense! He told Hegemony to shut his mouth! Darkseed didn’t care where Cyclopes was! The Dominion Beast wasn’t afraid of Cyclopes! He wasn’t afraid of anyone! If Cyclopes was here tonight, Darkseed would show him just how afraid of him he really was! By running away, the genius prodded! Darkseed snarled before standing up and telling Hegemony that he didn’t have to take this! This interview was over! Hegemony stopped Darkseed saying he had just one more question for him! If Darkseed wasn’t afraid of Cyclopes, why wouldn’t he face him in the ring, one-on-one? Darkseed laughed! That was for him to know and the galaxy to wonder! With that, the beast shoved aside a chair and left the room, muttering to himself that he told Godsend this was a waste of time! I’ve always been a Darkseed fan, but to be honest, it sounds to me like the Dominion Beast is covering up something, and I think it’s a deep-seeded fear of the one-eyed monster! Will he ever get the courage to actually face Cyclopes in the ring?
After the break, we were right back in the ring for what promised to be a classic mat wrestling contest! Already in the ring was the fallen angel, Exodus! I told you Commissioner Vanity was keeping the show moving tonight! Making his way down the ramp was the temporary leader of the ROC and a man who as of late has been on quite the roll here on GWF Assault, Zed Marlowe! The prince slid into the ring and paced around Exodus, slapping away his extended hand! As the ref called for bell, Zed locked up, quickly driving a knee to the fallen angel’s sternum! Zed backhanded the former TV Champion, hitting the side ropes as Exodus recoiled! Shooting back, Zed took to the air with a high cross body block, but Exodus met him with a dropkick right to the ribs! The fallen angel quickly pulled Zed up, shooting him over with a snap suplex to the mat for a two-count and a gasp from the crowd! They thought that was it! Exodus yanked Zed off the mat, sending him into the ropes for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and another two-count! Hopping onto the second rope, Exodus flew back for a moonsault, catching a stomach full of knees for his effort! Both men were hurting already in this fast pace affair, but it was Zed Marlowe who scored the next shot, a vicious right cross to the chin! The prince grabbed Exodus by the hair, unloading with an elbow right to his nose, stumbling the fallen angel back into the ropes! Zed grabbed Exodus by the neck, whipping him around with a swinging neckbreaker for a two-count of his own! The prince glared at the official before pulling Exodus off the mat and sending him sternum first into the corner! As the angel fell back, Zed caught him with a running bulldog lariat and one of the closest two-counts I’ve ever seen! The prince couldn’t believe it! Zed rose to his feet, stomping away at Exodus while the fans booed him! The prince again pulled Exodus up, whipping him over in midair and driving the fallen angel to the mat with a Z-Bomb for another close two-count! Now even I was starting to question the ref’s count! How was Exodus still in this match? The prince couldn’t stand it! He peeled Exodus from the mat and shot him into the corner, the impact sending Exodus down hard to the mat! As Exodus tried to rise to his feet, Zed hit the side ropes, building up some steam for that running kick right to the face he’s been using so effectively lately! At the last second, Exodus leapt to his feet, catching Zed Marlowe by the waist and hoisting him up and over, the prince’s head crashing into the top buckle! Exodus flew off the second rope, nailing Zed with a Flight Kick right to the chin! The prince swayed a second before collapsing to the mat while Exodus hopped onto the top rope! Pointing toward the heavens, Exodus flew off, delivering his picture perfect Wrath of God Swanton Bomb! Three seconds later and Exodus had taken this tremendous match!
After the match, the fallen angel started up the ramp while the fans began booing! Had they finally realized that Exodus was a no-good goody-goody? No! They were booing Noxious and Rotwurm! The Zombies had slipped through the crowd and into the ring, assaulting Zed Marlowe as he tried to regain his senses! Turning around, Exodus spotted the commotion! The fallen angel raced back into the ring, making the save just as Noxious was about to take a bite of Zed Marlowe’s neck! The fallen angel caught Noxious with a Flight Kick to the side of the head and then a big spinning heel kick to Rotwurm, sending both zombies scrambling out of the ring! The fans went wild as Exodus glared at the two retreating zombies! Inside the ring, Zed slowly rose to his feet, glaring at Exodus a second before offering him a handshake! Where was Zed’s intensity now? Slap him! What a sickening display of respect! I can’t stand it!
Backstage, Nicodemus was in the commissioner’s office! The Essence implored Commissioner Vanity to give the WoD a shot at the GWF Tag Team Titles! Commissioner Vanity laughed! What made Nicodemus think the WoD deserved a championship match? They were at the bottom of the rankings week in and week out! Because they’ve lacked opportunities, Nicodemus demanded! Just like all the Have- Nots! Not this again, Commissioner Vanity sighed! Nicodemus rose from his seat telling Commissioner Vanity that whether the WoD were top contenders or not, the commissioner needed to test the new GWF Tag Team Champions! He needed to see if they could coexist with the titles! If they could, fine! Nicodemus would be happy to see Rankor hold one-half of the straps! But if they couldn’t, wouldn’t GWF Assault be better off having a team actively defending those straps week in and week out? The GWF Tag Team Titles have become something of a joke since Commissioner Vanity debuted them! Shouldn’t they go back to a true tag team? Someone who can at least defend them without fighting each other at the same time? The commissioner mulled it over a second before telling Nicodemus he had a point…and a match! Next week!
After another commercial break, our cameras cut back to ringside where Bloat and Godsend were coming out to a loud booing! The Great Evil led his monstrosity to the ring, Bloat scratching his neck to the point of bleeding with his familiar metal fork! Inside the ring, the Great Evil removed his own robe, handing it to the ring girl while the music switched and the fans started to cheer! Shin Ko was the first through the curtain to a small pop, but it was Shepard who drew the big roar! The vagabond priest exploded through the curtain, pointing at Godsend as he made his way quickly down the ramp! Inside the ring, Godsend pushed Bloat forward, standing behind the heathen as Shepard and Shin Ko entered the ring! The priest rushed forward, ducking a lariat from Bloat while Shin Ko leapt up and nailed the heathen with a spinning kick right to the side of the head! Ducking Bloat’s blow, Shepard tackled Godsend around the waist, driving the three-time former champion to the mat and raining down on him with a flurry of rights and lefts! The fans were getting even louder, if that’s possible, with every blow! Behind the priest, Shin Ko grabbed Bloat by the neck! What was he thinking? The innovator tried a snap suplex, but Bloat held firm, lifting Shin Ko up and dropping him onto the top rope, sternum-first! The heathen turned around and ran his knee to the back of Shepard’s head, knocking the priest out of the ring and to the concrete floor! The ref tried to restore some order, getting Godsend out of the ring while Bloat yanked Shin Ko back into the squared circle by the hair! The heathen stomped Shin Ko’s throat twice before dropping all his weight down onto the innovator with a side elbow for two! Bloat rolled over, biting into Shin Ko’s nose, working the ref’s count to four before ripping off a chunk of the innovator’s nasal cavity! Yanking the innovator up, Bloat shot Shin Ko hard into the ropes, lifting the innovator up and over with a twisting powerslam for a two-count before Shepard made the save! While the ref forced Shepard back into his corner, Bloat reached into his tights, pulling out that metal fork to a loud booing from the crowd! The heathen rammed the fork deep into Shin Ko's forehead, tearing him open as he forced the innovator back into Dominion’s corner! Godsend made the tag, ordering Bloat out of the ring before the ref spotted the illegal foreign object! When the ref turned back to the action, Godsend hoisted Shin Ko up, driving him to the mat with a side powerbomb for two! I think the ref’s hesitant count there cost Godsend that one! The Great Evil again pulled Shin Ko up, peppering him with a right hand to that busted open forehead! Another shot toppled Shin Ko into the ropes! Again Shepard entered the ring to help, but the ref cut him off! Behind the official’s back, Bloat choked Shin Ko while Godsend peppered him with right hands! By the time the ref had turned back to the action, Bloat was back in his corner and Godsend had Shepard in a side headlock! The Great Evil spun Shin Ko around, nailing him with a knee to the stomach before flipping the innovator up and over to the canvas with a Hell’s Threshold Razor’s Edge! Again Shepard made the save at two! Why was the ref giving him this much leeway? He wouldn’t give it to Godsend and Bloat! Again the ref got Shepard out of the ring while Bloat illegally entered the squared circle, pulling Shin Ko up by the hair! As the heathen held Shin Ko in place, Godsend hit the side ropes, building up momentum for a flying forearm! At the last second, Shin Ko fired back with a lowblow raise kick, falling out of Bloat’s grasp and to the mat! Godsend didn’t have the luxury of stopping! The Great Evil crashed hard into his own partner to a huge roar from the crowd! As the ref looked back, Shin Ko crawled to his corner with both Godsend and Bloat trying to collect their senses! They had knocked each other loopy! Shin Ko lunged for the tag just as Godsend started to recover, reaching for his former pupil’s boot! Shepard exploded into the ring, catching Bloat with a forearm to the chin! A second forearm rocked the big heathen! Bloat fired with a weak left hand, but Shepard ducked and answered with a dropkick to the back of the knee! The fans were going crazy as Shepard caught Godsend with an inverted atomic drop and then clotheslined the Great Evil outside the ring! Inside the squared circle, Shepard hit the side ropes, flying back with a Silver Bullet Charge right to Bloat’s gut! The heathen staggered, but he would not go down! The priest again hit the side ropes, this time knocking Bloat all the way back into the far ropes with that running Silver Bullet Charge! Shepard pounded away at the groggy Bloat, too hurt to even fall down! Suddenly, that idiot Shin Ko entered the ring again, flying forward and taking Bloat up and over the top rope with a cross body block that dumped both men to the floor! The official didn’t know what to do! He was in shock and I think everyone else was looking at this carnage! As Shepard turned back around, Godsend slid into the ring, nailing him in the ribs with a Voltaic Stunner! How did the ref miss that? The Great Evil tossed the stun rod aside, hoisting Shepard onto his shoulders and then driving him to the mat with the Realm Eternal! Three seconds later Dominion had scored a huge Sudden Death victory here tonight!
As Godsend celebrated his win, our cameras quickly cut backstage where Puma and the Ape-men were chasing the Krypt Killers out of the building! At the doorway, Barnabus barked instructions telling his men to leave no trace of those genetic freaks! Suddenly, the door slammed shut in front of Barnabus! Reaching over the doctor was Paganax! The doctor was all alone with the heathen chief! As Barnabus backpedaled, Paganax growled! Barnabus pleaded with him, but Paganax simply smiled before leveling the doctor with a boot to the jaw! How was that right? Barnabus wasn’t a wrestler! Outside the arena, Puma and the Ape-men pounded on the door, but Paganax had locked it! The heathen hoisted Barnabus onto his shoulders, tossing him hard against the concrete wall before driving him down with that Pagan Void of his! Where were the medical personnel? Barnabus could be broken in half and no one was there to help him! Can Paganax really be this vile of a creature that he’d attack and cripple a defenseless man? Commissioner Vanity better do something about this!
After our final commercial break of the night, it was time for the main event! Terminus came out first with his manager and the man who brought him back to the GWF, Cordanus right by his side! Inside the ring, Terminus stretched out the top rope while the fans booed loudly! The former champion had his work cut out for him here tonight with the home crowd definitely against him! When Avarice’s music blared, the fans went ballistic! The Blackthorn emerged through the curtain, the GWF Title firmly around his waist and a cadre of young ladies surrounding him in scantily clad attire! The fans loved it! Maybe some of the ladies took offense, but with the male/female ratio well over ten-to-one, I couldn’t hear any boos! I did see a few elbows to the ribs! Avarice made his way down the ramp, removing his hooded cloak and handing it to a lady I’m told is his girlfriend for this week! What an honor! The Blackthorn climbed into the ring and unlatched his GWF Title, preparing to defend it for the first time and what could be the last! The ref took the belt and presented it to Terminus who simply nodded! He knew what was on the line! As the ref handed the belt to the timekeeper, Terminus lunged forward, nailing Avarice with a forearm to the side of the head! The Aran shot Avarice into the ropes, catching him with a turning spinebuster to the mat for two! Terminus wasn’t taking this match lightly! He was here to win back his title and he was looking to do it in record time! Terminus yanked Avarice off the mat, shooting him hard into the corner post before flying forward with a running body splash! The Aran’s not the biggest man in the GWF, but with his dense hide, that move will certainly take out a few ribs! The challenger pulled Avarice out of the corner by his blonde locks, nailing him with a side knee to the stomach, followed by a double ax-handle blow to the back! The Aran dropped down for the cover, but this time scored only one! Outside the ring, Cordanus shouted for the ref to count faster while Terminus pulled Avarice up again, shooting him hard into the corner! Avarice stumbled out right into a big back body drop all the way to the canvas and a two-count! The challenger was really getting frustrated as he yanked Avarice up again, pulling him in tight for a Sambo suplex! Instead, Avarice countered with a foot stomp and then an eye rake! As the Blackthorn staggered back, Terminus clutched his eyes, trying to regain his vision! The challenger recovered first, racing ahead with a double ax-handle, but Avarice dropped low, taking the Aran to the mat with a drop toehold! The fans shot to life as Avarice rose up, dropkicking Terminus right between the eyes as he tried to rise to his feet! The Blackthorn grabbed Terminus by the neck and rammed him face first into the top buckle! Another ram drew a smile from Terminus! The third time, Terminus held his head up and grabbed Avarice with his free arm, slamming the champion face first to the buckle! The challenger took a step back and rushed forward with a shoulder tackle, but Avarice hopped over, letting Terminus nearly crash into the steel post! The Aran was too smart to fall for that, catching himself at the last second! From overhead, Avarice locked Terminus’ shoulders and pulled him down to the mat with a sunset flip for two! Terminus exploded up—right into a kick to the gut and a swinging neckbreaker for two! The champion now was the aggressor, pulling Terminus off the mat and planting him back to the mat with a tiger driver for two! The fans thought that was it! How little faith! Terminus wasn’t going to lose that easily! Avarice slowly pulled Terminus off the mat, shooting him into the corner before rushing after with a knee right to the chin! The Blackthorn grabbed Terminus by the neck, looking to take him out with a running bulldog, but Terminus countered with a toss-off to the canvas! Impressively, Avarice landed on his feet! As Terminus exploded forward, Avarice turned and gripped his arm, whipping the former champion down to the mat! Avarice quickly hopped onto the side ropes, looking for that Power of Greed headbutt of his, but Cordanus made his presence known, shaking the second rope and sending the champion falling back to the mat! Inside the ring, Terminus quickly pulled Avarice up, whipping him over with a Sambo suplex for a close two-count! I thought that was it! The challenger looked to Cordanus and told him that was it! He yanked Avarice up by the hair, locking his arm for that patented Hammerlock Slam of his! Unbelievably, Avarice fought back! The Blackthorn raced toward the corner, ducking low and sending Terminus face first into the steel post! Cordanus hopped onto the apron, catching a flying foot to the head from Avarice for his efforts! The fans were going crazy as Terminus stumbled back—right into a boot to the stomach! Avarice locked a front chancery and then hoisted Terminus up, driving him to the mat with the 7th Sin! Three seconds later and Avarice had defended his GWF Title for the first time! The way he looked tonight, this was going to be just the first of many title defenses for this rising superstar! GWF Assault’s top star looks to be at the top of his game, and if he can do that to Terminus, I’m not sure who’s going to be able to slow down his incredible rise! We’ll see next week who makes the grade!

Class is back in session! Brainstorm here with the report card for GWF Assault 10-30! We are just a little over three weeks away from GWF Paradise Lost and the commissioner is starting to sign some huge matches for the last GWF Assault exclusive PPV of the year! Tonight, we’ve got three huge matches, including the first ever GWF Tag Team Title defense by Rankor and Omni! I wonder if they’re going to come up with a team name? Also tonight, we’ve got Cyclopes and Rubicon in action while Avarice visits the genius’ couch for a special Hegemony’s Insights! Let’s see who makes the grade!
The night opened with Raze already in the ring flexing for the fans to a small pop! Most of the guys were booing as the impeccable one went through his traditional series of poses! When Rubicon burst through the curtain, the fans stared in wide-eyed silence! The venomous beast made his way down the aisle, snarling as he slid under the bottom rope! The ref went to check him for weapons, but the beast brushed him aside and walked toward Raze! The impeccable one stood toe-to-toe, asking Rubicon who he thought he was messing with! The beast responded with a hard right hand to the nose! A backhand chop stumbled the impeccable one into the ropes while Rubicon hit the side set, rushing back with a pole ram! At the last second, Raze lifted his legs up with the ropes, nailing Rubicon right into the mush! The impeccable one rushed forward, colliding with a big shoulderblock, but Rubicon didn’t budge! Raze reared back and unloaded with a hard left hand! A right! He was actually rocking the venomous beast! As the impeccable one grabbed Rubicon by the neck, the beast reared back and unloaded with a knife-edge thrust right into the gullet! Raze staggered back, leaving himself open for another pole ram! This one nearly shattered Raze’s spine! Rising up, Rubicon growled before pulling Raze off the mat and shooting him into the ropes! As he rebounded, Rubicon hoisted the impeccable one up, driving him into the mat with a vicious spinebuster! The beast locked his grip onto Raze’s mouth with that No Return finisher of his, promptly drawing the tap out! What a dominant showing from Rubicon here tonight to start off GWF Assault!
After the bell, Rubicon pulled Raze up and flung him over the top rope to the concrete floor! The venomous beast wasn’t in a good mood tonight and unfortunately, Raze was taking the brunt of his anger! Mostro! Mostro! The fans turned to see Dante walking down the aisle! Mostro, you have to calm down, Dante said to a huge roar! Did-a your mother teach you no manners! Rubicon started toward the ropes, but Dante stood firm, holding a leather strap in his hand! The Italian was practically daring Rubicon to come out of the ring, wrapping that strap in his hand! Dante told Rubicon that his little fits were getting old! Most little girls outgrew them around nine or ten! Was Rubicon part monster or was he part Bella? The fans loved it! Again Rubicon snarled, but he didn’t leave the ring! Dante said that he had the answer for Rubicon—one final match at GWF Paradise Lost! The fans agreed! But, Dante said, turning his back to the venomous beast and looking out at the crowd! No ordinary match! Instead, Dante wanted one last definitive match! A good old fashioned Italian Leather Strap Match! A strap match? What made it Italian? Dante smiled as if he was reading my mind! The Italian means the strap will look better! That brought another laugh from the capacity minus two crowd! Someone got sick! Inside the ring, Rubicon roared that Dante was on and we cut to commercial break with a final image of these two men glaring at each other! At GWF Paradise Lost, there would be no getting away from each other! Come GWF Paradise Lost, one man is going to literally whip his opponent!
Backstage, the Others were sitting in their locker room, Omni stretching while Odyssey stared silently ahead! The non-champion looked at his partner and asked him if they were of one accord! Omni nodded! He knew what had to be done! Good, Odyssey said, lowering his hat! When the WoD win the GWF Tag Team Titles tonight, the former champions, the Others would cash in their return match and win back the straps! Finally this nightmare with Rankor would be over! Omni nodded as he stretched again! Soon enough, Odyssey muttered as he leaned back, his arms crossed and a scowl on his face!
After a commercial break, we were back in the ring where Nightmare was already out to a huge booing! The Black Death stalked around the ring, glaring at the fans before his opponent’s music blared! Heavy drums accompanied the biggest superstar in GWF history! Cyclopes lumbered down the ramp and stepped into the ring, over the top rope! The one-eyed monster stared at the official as he tried to check him for weapons! Like that idiot would know how to use one if he had it! From behind, Nightmare seemed to explode from nowhere, nailing Cyclopes with a leaping double ax-handle to the back of the head! The Black Death peppered the one-eyed monster with a series of blows to the back, but nothing seemed to affect Cyclopes! Finally turning, Cyclopes swung a big lariat at the Black Death, but the former TV Champion ducked low, nimbly dodging that blow! Nightmare hit the side ropes, flying back with a knee to the chest and then a backhand chop to the midsection! Taking a step back, Nightmare leapt up for a dropkick, but the one-eyed monster swatted him aside, knocking the Black Death all the way back to the canvas! The fans went crazy as Cyclopes hoisted Nightmare off the mat, driving him right back down with his Two-handed Chokeslam! The one-eyed monster leaned back into the near ropes, bouncing back and dropping all his weight down onto Nightmare for the easy three-count! If you thought Rubicon was dominant earlier, than Cyclopes was downright unstoppable!
After the match, Cyclopes was interrupted as he started to make his way up the ramp! Standing at the top of the stage was Commissioner Vanity! The commissioner said that Cyclopes has performed even better than Vanity hoped when he stole the one-eyed monster away from GWF Turmoil! The fans booed the mention of the inferior show! However, Commissioner Vanity wants to see Cyclopes in higher profile matches! Bigger matches with bigger men! Specifically, one man! That’s one of the perks of being commissioner, though! Vanity’s wishes usually become reality! And at GWF Paradise Lost, Commissioner Vanity will finally get his wish when Cyclopes will face Darkseed one-on-one inside a GWF ring! The fans liked that! And since Darkseed wants to run so much, this match will be an iron bar cage match where the only way to win is to escape the cage! The fans went crazy for that stipulation! We’ve only heard two matches that GWF Assault will showcase at GWF Paradise Lost and GWF Assault has already raised the bar for PPVs! I love this job!
Backstage, Ventross stood with Latasha! The TV Champion told Latasha that up until now, he’s been greatly wasted since returning to GWF Assault! Sure, he’s TV Champion, but who has he fought? What challenge has he overcome? Nicodemus and his team are running scared, scrambling to try and take the GWF Tag Team Titles while the TV Champion has offered them match after match! Since they don’t seem to want it, Ventross was opening his contract to anyone! Next week, the Ravager leader was going to put his TV Title on the line against anyone that wants to step into the ring with the most dangerous man in the galaxy! Latasha asked him if that was such a good idea! If it wasn’t, Ventross stared intensely at her, then I wouldn’t have done it! With that, the Ravager left the interview area and we took another break!
Back from break, our cameras caught up with Rankor and Omni backstage! The Ravager traitor told Omni that he had heard Omni was thinking about throwing this match! He was going to let the WoD take the GWF Tag Team Titles in hopes that he and his partner Odyssey could win them back! Omni asked Rankor so what if he was? The traitor nodded! It made sense! Losing the belts and gaining them back had a level of clarity! A level of manipulation! But then again, who proposed that idea? Rankor knew Omni didn’t suggest it! It had to have come from Odyssey! The traitor patted Omni’s shoulder before asking him to consider one thing! Who benefits most from Omni losing the title and regaining it? Does Odyssey truly care about the Others, or does he care about himself! In truth, Rankor smirked, how well does Omni know Odyssey? As well as myself, the light Ravager replied! Wrong! Rankor leaned in and told Omni that he knew nothing of depravity! He knew nothing of torture! Omni and Odyssey may be of one body, but of one mind! Of one soul? No! Odyssey has seen things that Omni will never know! The question is: How has that changed him? Rankor walked off telling his partner he would see him at ringside tonight!
After the break, we were back with an all new installment of Hegemony’s Insights! Tonight, the genius welcomed the GWF Champion, Avarice to his couch! Hegemony thanked the Blackthorn for coming, saying not only was Avarice the highest rated star to ever appear on Hegemony’s Insights, but he was quite possibly the classiest! Avarice thanked Hegemony for the compliment, saying he nearly felt the same! The genius asked Avarice what his plans were for the GWF Title now that he’s got Terminus in his rearview mirror? The Blackthorn sat forward, telling Hegemony that his plan is to not only beat Mensar’s record as the longest reigning champion, but to crush that record! While other champions have filled their time with meaningless personal agendas, fighting worthless feuds, Avarice planned on making sure that his time as champion went down in the annals! Hegemony asked the champion how he felt knowing some people criticized him as champion, wondering if he is truly championship material? The Blackthorn patted his title! I am the champion, Avarice stated! Let people talk, the Blackthorn was more concerned with victory! He was more concerned with pushing the Blackthorn name to yet another pinnacle! Avarice’s main goal with the GWF Title, aside from destroying Mensar’s record and never having to hear him talk about that annoying streak again, is to bring back the big match atmosphere of GWF Title matches! Avarice wasn’t going to just defend his title anywhere! It would be on his terms! Just like any further interviews Avarice would grant! With that, the Blackthorn rose up, thanked Hegemony for the time before ending the broadcast and sending us backstage!
As Latasha knocked on Rankor’s locker room, Paralyze entered the picture, grabbing the interviewer by the hand! Rankor opened his door only to see Paralyze towering over him! Yes, the traitor asked hesitantly! This don’t concern you, Paralyze said matter-of-factly! The traitor looked around a second before backing away and shutting his door! I couldn’t help but notice the lock turning behind him! Paralyze told Latasha that no one cared what Rankor had to say, he was a snake and a venom-less one at that! What she needed to know was that Paralyze was accepting Ventross’ challenge! What, why, she asked! He’s never shown any interest in the TV Title before! Paralyze growled! He wanted a match! Ventross offered! He was going to take it! And if anyone had a problem with it, they could come find the Aetheran warhammer! Latasha gulped as we cut to commercial!
Back from break, our cameras were in Commissioner Vanity’s office! The commissioner said that from now on he would be reviewing all of Hegemony’s Insights before they saw broadcast! Until next July, Commissioner Vanity is still the commissioner of GWF Assault! He still calls the shots…not Avarice! And as such, he will not honor Avarice’s request to pick his own championship matches! But, the commissioner relented, Avarice did have a point! The GWF Title should be contested in a main event environment! With classic match-ups! That’s why, next week live on GWF Assault, it would be Avarice defending his GWF Title against a man he knows all too well! A man he tore up arena after arena with two years ago! The fallen angel…Exodus! The fans in the arena loved it and I have to admit even I was salivating for that one!
Back in the ring, it was time for the main event! Coming down the ramp first were the WoD to a small booing! The fans seemed almost apathetic to the Weapons of Destruction here tonight! When Rankor’s music started, the boos multiplied nearly tenfold! The traitor seemed to soak them up, taunting the fans as he made his way into the ring, his GWF Tag Team Title firmly around his waist! Finally the fans turned away from Rankor and started to cheer his tag team partner, the other GWF Tag Team Champion, Omni! Accompanying the light Ravager was his former partner, I guess, Odyssey! I’m so confused with how this is going to work out! Inside the ring, Omni refused to speak with his partner, handing the ref his title belt and starting toward the corner! As he neared, Rankor stepped through the ropes and pointed for the light Ravager to start this match! Omni didn’t like that, but the ref called for the bell anyway! While the light Ravager argued with his partner, Holocaust raced across the ring, nailing Omni with a Missile Shot to the back of the head! The Eridean hoisted Omni up into the air, driving him down with a reverse powerbomb for a quick two-count! Outside the ring, Rankor mockingly clapped for his partner, starting an argument with Odyssey while Holocaust dragged the Ravager back into his corner! Making the tag to Flatliner, Holocaust held the light Ravager open for a big knee to the sternum! A vicious metal punch to the teeth followed, dropping Omni down to the mat while Holocaust exited the ring! The weapon pulled Omni off the mat, ramming him back into the corner before rushing forward with a metal clothesline, effectively pinning Omni in that corner! As the weapon took a step back, Omni crumpled forward, catching a robotic headbutt to the nose! Flatliner quickly spun around, nearly taking the Ravager’s head off his shoulders with a spinning backhand smash that once again put Omni down on the mat for a two-count! Flatliner made the tag again, brining Holocaust back into the ring! The Eridean climbed up to the second rope while Flatliner held Omni wide open for a double ax-handle! At the last second, Omni slipped free, Holocaust crashing into his own partner! The fans roared as Omni slowly started crawling to his corner! Midway across the ring, Holocaust rushed forward, driving his knee down onto the Ravager’s lower back! Just as Omni was reaching his corner, Rankor turned his back, arguing again with Odyssey and drawing a huge booing from the capacity crowd! Inside the ring, Holocaust yanked Omni up again, shooting him into the ropes for a big butt smash! The Eridean hit the side ropes, building up some momentum for a big splash, but nobody was home! Omni rolled to the side and while Rankor again argued with Odyssey, made the blind tag! The traitor couldn’t believe it! Rankor looked around the ring wondering what exactly had just happened! Slowly stepping into the ring, Rankor glared at Holocaust! These two men were on the same Sudden Death team! Slowly they locked up, Rankor shooting an elbow into the Eridean’s throat! The traitor followed with a gutbuster to the mat and then a falling headbutt to the chest that hurt the Ravager more than Holocaust! Holocaust rose up to his feet, nailing Rankor with a right hand to the chest and then a headbutt to the sternum! The Eridean quickly lifted Rankor into the air, crushing him against the mat with a big powerslam! Holocaust went for the cover, but at two, Omni made the save! Odyssey was beside himself outside the ring! The Ravager hopped onto the apron and demanded to know what Omni was doing! From behind, Holocaust brained the light Ravager, toppling him into his own tag team partner and sending both men crashing to the floor! As Holocaust turned, Rankor hoisted him up, driving the Eridean down with a crushing spinebuster to the mat! The traitor made the cover, Flatliner standing paralyzed with confusion on the apron as Rankor scored the three-count! Rankor and Omni had done it! Somehow, they were still the GWF Tag Team Champions, even though I’m sure that’s not sitting well with Odyssey right now! As we ended our broadcast, Rankor took both GWF Tag Team Titles from the ref before tossing one up and over the top rope to Omni while Odyssey held his neck and glared at his partner! I don’t like the look he was giving Omni right there one bit! We’ll see next week who makes the grade!

Class is back in session! Brainstorm here with the report card for GWF Assault 11-6! We’re just seventeen days from GWF Paradise Lost and I don’t know about you fans, but I can’t wait! Commissioner Vanity always saves the best for last and after last week’s dual match announcements, the commissioner’s vow to sign two more matches tonight promised to be nail-biting! Add on top of that, two championship matches, including former GWF Champion Paralyze vying for the TV Title and former TV Champion Exodus vying for the GWF Title, and tonight promised to be one for the record books! Let’s see who makes the grade!
The night opened with our cameras already rushing backstage where Rubicon had just blindsided Cypher with a kick to the side of the head! The venomous beast rammed Cypher with two hard shoulders to the ribs and then drove him through an interior wall with a running charge! Do you know how much power that takes? I mean, I’m sure I could do it, but none of you sheep could! With security rushing to the area, Rubicon growled as he nailed Cypher with a big right hand and then calmly left the scene! What in the stars was that all about?
Out in the ring, it was time for the opener! Krypt was already in the ring for a match intended by the commissioner to appease not only his opponent here tonight, but the verbose Dr. Barnabus! When Puma stepped through the curtain, the fans laced into him with a series of boos! The Ani-man made his way down the ramp quickly, focused on one-half of the Krypt Killers already in the ring! Sliding into the squared circle, Puma charged forward, tackling Krypt by his legs and tripping him down to the mat! The bigger man, Krypt had no answer for Puma’s savagery and leverage! The Ani-man quickly rolled forward, nailing Krypt with a knee to the chin and then a stomp to the face as he rose to his feet! The fans were really booing now as Puma leapt onto the second turnbuckle, flipping back with a moonsault for two! Instead of letting the Krypt Killer up, Puma rose just enough to slash his claws against Krypt’s eyes! Another slash had his opponent trying to roll out of the ring! Puma wasn’t about to let that happen, dragging Krypt back to the center of the ring and nailing him with a boot to the inside of the leg! Not only was Krypt not a singles superstar, he wasn’t used to facing anyone with the talent or intensity of the Barnabus created Ani-man, Puma! The animal yanked Krypt off the mat, nailing him with a lacing backhand chop and then a leap up kick to the side of the head! As the Krypt Killer stumbled forward, Puma caught him with a knee to the stomach and then a falling face driver to the mat for another two-count! Barnabus couldn’t believe it! The doctor spouted some instructions and Puma, perhaps with a bit of defiance growled back! Barnabus yelled again and this time Puma pulled Krypt up, whipping him into the ropes before hitting the side ropes himself! As they both met in the center of the ring, Puma unloaded with the Sideswipe! Three seconds later and Darwin’s Legacy continued to increase their lead in Sudden Death! I can’t help but notice that neither Puma or Barnabus seem too eager to sign matches with Paganax, though! Maybe that’s their strategy! If they can feast on the other two members of Paganax’s squad, maybe they can win Sudden Death without crossing Paganax! It’s worked so far!
Backstage, security was getting a work out tonight! The latest duo going at it was Omni and Rankor! I’m not sure what set this one off, but it doesn’t much matter! They both hate each other so I’m not surprised to see them fighting! Commissioner Vanity quickly rushed to the scene, telling the GWF Tag Team Champions to knock it off or he would strip them both of their titles! Omni roared that he didn’t care! He’d rather not have a title than team with Rankor! The traitor told Omni that if he felt that way, he should have lost last week! Omni roared that he wouldn’t let the WoD screw up the honor the Others had put on the GWF Tag Team Titles! Rankor laughed! Commissioner Vanity told them both to shut up! The commissioner had foreseen something like this happening back at GWF Armageddon! That’s why he had an ace up his sleeve! He was hoping he wouldn’t have to use it, but at GWF Paradise Lost, he was going to sign the first ever GWF Tag Team Title match! Neither man seemed impressed! How was that a first? Because, the commissioner beamed, it will be a singles match for the titles! Rankor versus Omni! The winner gets both belts! A GWF Tag Team Title singles match? Chalk it up to Commissioner Vanity! What a decision!
Back from another break, we were at ringside for our first championship match of the night! Coming down the aisle first was the Aetheran warhammer, former GWF Champion Paralyze! It certainly was strange seeing him come down the ramp first! Inside the ring, Paralyze removed his spikes and paced around, awaiting his opponent here tonight! When Ventross emerged, the reactions became much more mixed! I’m sure most of it is his opponent, but I think there are quite a few fans out there who just get creeped out looking at the Ravager! The TV Champion made his way into the ring, offering Paralyze a pre-match handshake! The Aetheran warhammer slowly accepted, staring into Ventross’ eyes the entire time! I don’t think either man is going to psych out the other! The ref took the TV Title and presented it before calling for the bell! We were underway! Paralyze shoved Ventross back a step, letting him know who was the alpha male here! Ventross responded with a shove of his own! Paralyze cocked his head to the side before turning back with a big right to the champion’s face! This wasn’t going to be a wrestling match! This was going to be a fight! Ventross responded with a right hand of his own! Another from Paralyze! Ventross responded in kind! The fans were going crazy as these two monsters hammered away at each other in the center of the ring! Grabbing Ventross by the neck, Paralyze went to shoot him into the ropes, but Ventross held firm, spinning Paralyze around and catching him with a knee to the stomach! The Ravager unloaded with a big back hand chop and then a lariat that put the Aetheran down on the mat! As Ventross went to press the attack, Paralyze met him with a boot to the chest and another to the knee! The Aetheran rose up, catching Ventross with a shoulder to the ribs! Paralyze quickly lifted Ventross into the air, but the champion answered with a double ear clap! Dropping back to the mat, Ventross surged forward, taking Paralyze down with a running tackle to the mat! The fans were on the edge of their seats! Ventross again pulled Paralyze up, this time catching him with a knee to the chin and then a big atomic drop into the corner! The champion grabbed Paralyze by the waist, but before he could do whatever he had planned, Paralyze met him with a back elbow! The challenger turned, rushing forward with a big Decapitator clothesline to a huge roar from the crowd! Ventross shot back up—right into a kick to the gut and an Aetheran powerbomb to the mat! Paralyze was hitting another gear! The challenger pulled Ventross up, nailing him with a cross forearm to the snout and then a whip hard into the corner! As Ventross shot back out, Paralyze flew forward with a big shoulderblock, taking the Ravager right back down to the mat for a two-count! Paralyze was on fire now, lifting Ventross off the mat and hoisting him onto the top rope with his own atomic drop! Everyone knew what was coming next! As the Aetheran warhammer grabbed Ventross by the collar, the TV Champion met the challenger with a face rake! A second one staggered the big Aetheran enough for Ventross to turn around on the ropes and fly forward with a cross body block! That was one big cross body! Somehow, Paralyze managed to shoot a shoulder out at two, just saving this match! The champion was now the one on fire, hammering Paralyze with a vicious onslaught of punches! The Ravager’s fans were coming alive as he rose to his feet, roaring with excitement! The champion slowly pulled Paralyze up, setting him up for that Severed Ties spinebuster of his!
Suddenly, the WoD, Assassin X, and Nicodemus swarmed the ring! The foursome attacked both men, taking Ventross down first, but not neglecting Paralyze while the ref called for the bell! Before security could get into the ring, Nicodemus planted Ventross with a Flatliner assisted Nuclear Winter! On the other side of the ring, Paralyze fought to his feet, nailing Assassin X with a right hand! Flatliner went down from a boot, but a Missile Shot from Holocaust slowed the Aetheran warhammer! As Paralyze stumbled forward, Assassin X caught him with a side kick to the ribs, doubling him over right in front of the Essence! Nicodemus smirked before hoisting Paralyze over, with the big Holocaust’s help, and driving him down to the mat with another Nuclear Winter! The Essence demanded the TV Title from ringside and raised it up in apparent victory, mocking both Ventross and Paralyze! As Nicodemus left the ring, he tossed the TV Title down onto Ventross’ face, reminding the champion just who called the shots in their Sudden Death feud!
After another break, we were back with an all new installment of Hegemony’s Insights! Tonight joining the genius was a former two-time champion, the punk from Scorpi, Euritar! Hegemony welcomed the punk to his show, telling him that he was happy to continue his tradition of bringing on the best superstars in the entire galaxy to the Insights! Euritar thanked Hegemony, telling him that he was happy to sit down and talk about anything the genius wanted to! Hegemony told Euritar that was good because this wasn’t going to be a Latasha interview! These weren’t going to be softballs! He was a hard-hitting interviewer! And his real question tonight was where has Euritar gone? The punk looked confused! Hegemony told Euritar that for the last year, he’s heard about the punk being on GWF Assault, but he hasn’t seen him! In fact, Hegemony was there at his welcome back party! He was in the back reading “Atlas Shrugged”, but he was there! The whole roster acted like having Euritar back was such a coup! Instead, it’s led to nothing! Where were the title matches? Where were the main event matches? For the last year, sure, Euritar has been in matches, but with whom? Who remembers a single match the punk has had? Where is the real Euritar, Hegemony demanded! The punk leaned back and crossed his legs saying that Hegemony had a valid point! The problem with Hegemony and all the so-called experts though is they don’t realize something! Euritar has been wrestling for over sixteen years! His body has been wracked and ravaged by years in this business! He’s been thrown through windows! He had a Galacticraft run over him! He’s had over forty-seven broken bones and he’s only missed three months worth of action for injury! When the punk sits down, his spine tingles! So no, Euritar isn’t the same man he was five years ago! Ten years ago! But, what he is they can’t take away from him! They can’t remove his two-time champion label! They can’t take away his original Elite Circle recognition or the time he teamed with Euritar as perhaps the greatest tag team in GWF history! So yeah, Euritar’s slowed down a step! Maybe he’s even at the end of his run, but he’ll leave on his terms! And in the meantime, he’s got enough juice in the tank to take down the Elite Circle for good! While he’s at it, the punk has been training the next truly great GWF superstar! The man who will not only take Euritar’s place, but surpass everything he’s done—the Italian Stallion, Dante! Hegemony chuckled! Dante is hardly a Euritar! The punk rose up telling him that’s where he was wrong! Mark the punk’s words, he stated, within a year or two, maybe sooner, Dante will be the GWF Champion, and it will be Euritar who guided him to that plateau! The genius scoffed again but told Euritar that everyone was entitled to be wrong! With that, Hegemony thanked the punk again and sent us backstage with the promise of our first repeat Hegemony’s Insights’ guests next week, the former GWF Tag Team Champions, and half of the current champions, the Others! Stars, that’s confusing!
Backstage, Godsend was talking with the Dominion Beast, Darkseed! The Great Evil told him that now, Darkseed had Cyclopes right where he wanted him! Inside a steel cage! The beast snarled as Godsend told him that those months of feigning cowardice have finally paid off! Soon, Cyclopes will be ground into nothingness while Darkseed proves himself as the true giant in the GWF! Darkseed looked up and growled at Godsend! He didn't want this match! He never wanted it! Godsend smiled, rubbing Darkseed’s shoulders and telling the beast to trust him! Dominion would take Cyclopes down, one way or another! There was nothing to worry about! Darkseed snarled again! Trusting Godsend got him into this mess! The Great Evil grinned from ear-to-ear before telling him that trusting him would get him out of it as well!
After our final commercial break, we were back at ringside for the main event, a GWF Title match for the ages! As rookies, both Exodus and Avarice set the galaxy on fire with their back and forth wrestling! Tonight, they weren’t doing it for airtime! They were doing it for the GWF Title! Exodus descended from the ceiling first to a huge ovation! The fans were going crazy for the fallen angel as he landed in the ring, quickly hopping onto the second rope and lifting his arms to an even louder roar! While the ref checked Exodus for weapons, Avarice’s music blared and the GWF Champion stepped through the curtain to an even louder ovation! The Blackthorn made his way down the ramp, beaming as he stepped into the ring, his custom-made GWF Title firmly around his waist! Inside the ring, Avarice kissed his belt and handed it to the official for presentation! The official lifted the bell and called for the bell! This championship match was underway!
The two men who knew each other better than anyone slowly circled! Finally, as if launched at each other, they both lunged forward in a lock-up! Exodus drove Avarice back into the ropes, showing his slight power advantage! As the fallen angel granted the clean break, Avarice shot a thumb up into Exodus’ eye! The champion followed with a knee to the stomach and then an elbow to the back of the neck! Avarice quickly shot Exodus across the ring, lowering his shoulder and flipping the challenger over with a big back body drop! Strutting around the ring, Avarice showed his flair for the dramatic while Exodus wiped a small trickle of blood from his cheek! Rising up, Exodus looked more determined than before, again locking up with Avarice! This time the fallen angel quickly drove Avarice back into the corner, unloading with a headbutt right to the nose! The challenger took a step back and unloaded with a backhand chop to the chest that had Avarice howling in pain! The fallen angel grabbed Avarice by the arm, shooting him hard into the far corner! As Exodus raced behind, Avarice pushed up in the corner, landing over a charging Exodus! The Blackthorn caught Exodus as he turned, whipping him over with a falling armdrag to the mat! The fallen angel landed on his feet, rolling forward and turning back with a jump up side kick to the head! At the last second, Avarice ducked low and caught Exodus as he landed, hoisting him over with a modified exploder suplex for two! It’s uncanny how well these two know each other! Exodus rolled over, Avarice catching him with a forearm to the jaw and then a DDT to the mat for another two! The Blackthorn wanted to end this one quickly, hoisting Exodus up for the 7th Sin, but the fallen angel countered with a lift up into the corner! Avarice fired a hard left hand at the challenger, but Exodus ducked and pulled Avarice back with a second rope assisted Northern Lights suplex for two! Stars that was close! The fallen angel again pulled Avarice up, shooting him into the ropes and catching the champion with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Again Exodus scored only two! The challenger pulled Avarice up slowly, looking for his Kingdom Come piledriver, but Avarice countered with a rising back body drop! The challenger shot up, swinging a backhand punch at the champion, but Avarice ducked low and brought the fallen angel down with an armbar drop for two! Avarice hopped onto the second rope, flying back with the Power of Greed for another two-count! The champion couldn’t believe it! Avarice slowly pulled Exodus up, whipping him over with a tiger suplex and yet another two-count! Was anything going to keep these men down? Avarice resorted to the underhand side, nailing Exodus with a right hand to the jaw and then a knee right to the chin! The champion pulled Exodus up, swinging him over for a neckbreaker, but at the last second, Exodus shot the champion forward into the ropes! As Avarice recoiled, Exodus leapt up with a perfectly timed Flight Kick to the back of the skull! The ref was in perfect position, but so too was the champion! As the ref counted two, he noticed Avarice’s boot under the bottom rope! The fallen angel couldn’t believe it when the ref told him! Slowly pulling Avarice back up, Exodus planted him with that piledriver of his before pointing toward the top rope! The fans roar got even louder! Climbing to the top rope, Exodus pointed toward the heavens, but didn’t seem to like the answer he got! Again he pointed toward the heavens, but again he seemed denied! Reluctantly, Exodus hopped off the top rope and grabbed Avarice by the neck! What was that all about? As the fallen angel started to pull the champion up, Avarice fell back, shooting Exodus forward and into the steel ring post, shoulder-first! The challenger fell back, right into a boot to the gut and the 7th Sin! Three seconds later and Avarice had successfully defended his GWF Title once again! What a match from both men!
After the match, Avarice demanded the ref hand him his GWF Title! The Blackthorn gasped in the ring for breath, basking in the applause, but his celebration was short-lived! Emerging through the curtain was the Hollywood Star, Varsity! Varsity mockingly clapped for Avarice, telling him that he was real proud that he could beat a former TV Champion! Maybe that means something down on the bottom of the card where Avarice belongs, but in the big time, a match with Exodus doesn’t mean a thing! What Avarice needed was a real main event opponent! A real challenge! What Avarice really needed was to give the GWF Title to a real champion! A man like…Varsity! And thanks to Commissioner Vanity, that’s exactly what will happen in seventeen days at GWF Paradise Lost! What? Varsity and Avarice for the GWF Title on Mensa? We’re out of time for this week! We’ll see next week who makes the grade!

Class is back in session! Brainstorm here with the report card for GWF Assault 11-13! I can’t believe it, but we are just ten days away from GWF Paradise Lost live from the Staslar Theater on Mensa! We already know four big matches that will take place at GWF Assault’s last exclusive PPV of the year, and I for one can’t wait to see each and every one of them! Tonight, Commissioner Vanity has signed two big matches, including a TV Title match between Ventross and the unbelievably on fire, Zed Marlowe! Who thought I’d ever be saying that? The main event is the real talk of the galaxy tonight, a tag team affair pitting Varsity and Mensar against former GWF Champion Euritar and current GWF Champion Avarice! Between those four men, there were a combined six GWF Championship reigns that encompassed over four years of total time! The commissioner was in the ring to start the night so let’s see who makes the grade!
The night opened with Commissioner Vanity in the center of the ring to a huge ovation! Vanity promised that in just ten days, he was going to show everyone that he might be on his way out, but he was going to leave on some high notes with GWF Paradise Lost! One of the matches that’s getting the most press around the galaxy without question has to be the first ever singles match for the GWF Tag Team Titles! To capitalize on that interest, Commissioner Vanity had arranged two big warm-up matches to be spaced out this week and next between the competitors! Tonight, in the first warm-up match, Rankor would be facing both Warfare and Tekaro in a handicap match! And that match was scheduled to start…right now!
As the commissioner left the ring, Mass Destruction’s music blared and the fans gave them a tepid reaction! At least that was better than poor Rankor! When the current holder of one-half of the GWF Tag Team Titles stepped through the curtain, the fans booed him mercilessly! The Ravager made his way down the ramp, locking his eyes on Commissioner Vanity as he past by him, wishing the champion luck tonight! Sliding into the ring, Rankor tossed his title belt into Warfare’s face and charged the smaller Tekaro! The ref cut off Warfare as he started toward Rankor, forcing the big man out of the ring while Rankor nailed Tekaro with a vicious headbutt under the chin! The champion followed with a kick to the ribs and then a knee to the throat, dropping the savage down to all fours! Grabbing Tekaro by the waist, Rankor hoisted him up and tossed him back into a neutral corner! The champion unloaded with a vicious throat punch, drawing a warning from the official as Tekaro dropped again to his knees! This time, Rankor pounded him down to the mat with a string of boots! Warfare raced into the ring, trying to help his partner, but the ref cut him off! Behind the ref’s back, Rankor delivered a blatant lowblow kick to the groin! The champion hoisted Tekaro off the mat, dropping the savage throat-first onto the top rope just as the ref turned back to the action! Ignoring the official, Rankor grabbed the savage by the neck and dropped down to the mat with an innovative backbreaker that drew two before Warfare made the save! While the ref ushered Warfare back to his corner, Rankor grabbed Tekaro by the throat, shoving his free claws deep into Tekaro’s eye sockets! The fans booed loudly, but the ref didn’t see it! Rankor quickly turned, racing across the ring and blindsiding Warfare with a body smash that toppled the big man off the apron and to the floor! The Ravager quickly grabbed the nearly unconscious Tekaro by the neck and hoisted him into the air, driving the savage down to the mat with a neck-drop butterfly suplex! The champion quickly made the cover and before Warfare could get back into the ring, scored the three-count! The fans booed Rankor as he rolled out of the ring, yanking his GWF Tag Title away from the timekeeper and started up the ramp! They can boo him all they want, but tonight, Rankor showed just how you win a handicap match! If he can beat two men as easily as he did Mass Destruction tonight, how in the stars does Omni think he has a chance at GWF Paradise Lost?
As we cut to commercial, the Galactitron fired up with a taped vignette from Dante! The Italian stood, cracking a leather strap in his hand! Mostro, Dante said snapping the leather again, you’ve made a big mistake! See, Dante was no stranger to the strap! No stranger to leather welts down his back! In-a his movie, Dante’s Night with the Strap, kids, get your parents permission first, Dante became accustomed to whipping the monsters! Dante became accustomed to doling out punishment! Stars, he used to beat his partner Comedy, rest that sick freak’s mind in peace , with a leather strap before each and every one of their matches for a month! Dante didn’t know why! He just did it! So now, Rubicon thinks that Dante is going to back down from a fight? No way! Dante was looking forward to locking his wrist inside the custom made leather strap! He was looking forward to knowing that Rubicon was on the other side of that strap! Because once those straps get locked into place, wherever Rubicon goes, Dante will be there! At GWF Paradise Lost, Dante is going to defeat this monster! He was going to humble him, and then, he was going to look his own teammate in the eye and demand his shot at the GWF Title! And if anyone gets in the way, they’ll have Hell to pay! Capice? The Italian snapped the strap again and we finally cut to commercial!
Back from the break, it was time for another installment of Hegemony’s Insights! Tonight, the genius welcomed back the Others! Last time the former champions were on Hegemony’s Insights, the genius dropped some bombshells! Would tonight provide as many insights as that now legendary broadcast? Hegemony welcomed both men to the show, but only the current GWF Tag Team Champion Omni shook his hand! The genius looked at Odyssey and said he must still be bitter that he lost his GWF Tag Team Title, huh? Odyssey shot a menacing glance forward, letting Hegemony know he was in no mood for insults tonight! The genius turned his attention to Omni, asking him why he couldn’t just come to terms with Rankor as his partner! Why was he rocking the boat so much that the commissioner had to sign the first ever singles match for any tag team title? Omni said it was a disgrace what Rankor brought to the title! He didn’t deserve it! Hegemony quickly replied that Rankor was a four-time champion now, surely he couldn’t be that bad! The light Ravager shook his head! The Others were now of the belief that Rankor was the ultimate time-breaker! He was the reason that the Others were here now! The genius shook his head! So, it wasn’t Nicodemus after all? It was another Ravager! Stands to reason, Omni agreed, that Rankor who is a Ravager is the one the annals spoke of! Why couldn’t it be one of you, or both of you, Hegemony stated! Preposterous, Omni said, looking toward Odyssey! That man is like my brother! If it were one of us, I would know! No, Rankor has proven with his actions that he is the time-breaker! Hegemony scoffed! The genius didn’t seem convinced! Regardless, he said, Rankor certainly has a lot more singles experience than Omni! How is the Ravager going to be able to compete with that? In the GWF, perhaps, Omni agreed! But Omni’s entire life has been a fight! A fight for survival! At GWF Paradise Lost, he will show that with Odyssey or not, the Ravager is here to stop Rankor! And once Omni and Odyssey have both GWF Tag Team Titles back again, they will finally be able to drive the forces of darkness and return back to their homes! But why would he want to, Hegemony demanded, but Odyssey was done! The dark Ravager rose up, ignoring Hegemony and leading his partner off set! You know, as always, Hegemony makes a great point! The genius thanked us for joining him this week and promised a lively interview next week when he welcomes the venomous beast Rubicon to Hegemony’s Insights! What a blockbuster interview that is going to be!
Backstage, Latasha was standing by with Excalibur! The former GWF Warfare star was here tonight for a pre-show dark match which he won over a local talent! Latasha asked Excalibur if he had heard anything from Vanity about a possible position with GWF Assault? The knight said that he hadn’t yet, but he was hoping to continue to get some matches on house shows and earn a spot! Suddenly, the knight dropped to the concrete floor! Behind him, Rubicon slammed his foot down onto the knight’s skull, driving Excalibur into the concrete! The venomous beast hoisted Excalibur off the floor, hurling him into the wall before driving his shoulder forward into the knight’s ribs! Rubicon locked on his No Return submission hold as security arrived to the scene, frantically trying to pull Rubicon back! To avoid broadcasting any more savagery, we quickly cut to commercial break while security tried to do their jobs!
Back at ringside, it was time for our TV Title match! What a match this one promised to be! Zed Marlowe came down the aisle first, and I can’t remember any time I ever thought he actually had a chance heading into a championship match! What a difference a couple injuries can make! The prince stretched out the ropes, waiting for the champion to makes his way down the aisle! When Ventross’ music hit, the fans gave him a decent pop! It amazes me that Ventross has been on the side of “good” for so long and the fans still don’t trust him! When do you just throw in the towel and say screw it? The TV Champion stepped into the ring, towering over Zed and looking down at him with contempt! The prince didn’t back down an inch! He glared up with focused intensity, letting Ventross know he wouldn’t be intimidated here tonight! The ref took the TV Title, presenting it to the challenger before calling for the bell! Ventross immediately offered his hands for a test of strength, but the smaller prince was far too smart for that, answering with a boot to the gut and a right hand to the jaw! Another right hand rocked the champion before Zed hit the side ropes for some momentum! Suddenly, Ventross exploded forward, catching the prince with a big boot right to the mouth! The champion wrenched Zed from the mat, hoisting him into the air and dropping the prince chest first onto the top turnbuckle! As the challenger fell back, Ventross took him down with a shoulder spear to the ribs for two! The champion again pulled Zed up off the mat, whipping him hard into the far ropes, but making an amateur mistake by lowering his head too soon! Zed leapfrogged the champion, using his momentum to hop onto the second rope and fly back with a spinning kick right to the side of the head! Ventross tottered near the ropes, grabbing them for support! Exploding up, Zed nailed the champion with a forearm to the chin followed by a vicious Throne Strap! A second had Ventross scrambling, but the champion still would not go down! Zed ducked a wild lariat from the Ravager, leaping into the air as he turned and finally putting the Ravager down with a big dropkick to the chin! The champion slowly rolled over, grabbing Zed by the tights, but the prince stopped him short with a knee right to the chin! A second knee rocked Ventross back into the ropes, still on his knees! Zed grabbed Ventross by the neck, possibly going for a DDT, but the champion showed his power, hoisting Zed up into the air and heaving him back to the canvas! As Zed shot back up, racing forward, Ventross unloaded with a falling lariat, taking the fight right out of the prince! Ventross slowly rose to his feet, catching a groggy Zed with a vicious left hand to the side of the head! A right followed and put Zed down on the canvas! The champion was starting to come alive, stomping Zed with a boot to the back of the head before scoring a two-count! Ventross slowly peeled Zed from the mat, hoisting him up with a gutbuster! The prince howled as if he just snapped five ribs! Maybe he did! Ventross again scored two! Pulling the prince up again, Ventross lifted him for that Severed Ties spinebuster of his, but the prince countered with the most effective move in wrestling the thumb to the eye! As the prince dropped to the mat, a blinded Ventross charged forward into a drop toehold to the mat! Zed quickly hit the side ropes, building up steam for a running kick right between the eyes! The fans were on the edge of their seats as Zed dropped down for the cover! We had a new champion!
Suddenly, Dreadnaught emerged from under the ring, grabbing Zed’s boot at two and yanked him out of the squared circle! The ref called for the bell as Noxious and Rotwurm joined Dreadnaught, the three zombies hammering away at Zed Marlowe! To a huge roar, Mass Destruction raced down the ramp, evening up the sides and hammering away at the Zombies! The fans were going crazy as all six men battled right up against the guardrail! Security only added to the cluster, trying to pull all six creatures apart! I refuse to consider Noxious and Rotwurm men! When Commissioner Vanity appeared, things started to calm considerably! The commissioner told all six men that they were forfeiting their pay this week for their actions here tonight! However, if they wanted a chance to make a little extra cash, all they had to do was win their match next week! A special six-man tag team match pitting Zed Marlowe and Mass Destruction against Dreadnaught and the Zombies! The fans went wild as the commissioner ordered security to get all six of them out of the building and not to let them around the commissioner until next Thursday night!
Backstage, Nicodemus told Assassin X that he’d meet up with him back at the mother ship! For some reason, the Essence couldn’t find his bag! As Assassin X sped off, Nicodemus turned, muttering to himself that Commissioner Vanity better find it for him! Dropping in front of the Essence was a large black duffel, his personal bag! Found it, a voice called from straight ahead! Nicodemus looked up and barely had time to offer an “uh-oh” before Paralyze rushed forward and nailed the Essence with a big fist to the chest! The Aetheran warhammer quickly whipped Nicodemus into a Galacticraft, rushing forward with a shoulder to the ribs and then a backward slam through the side window! Security was nowhere to be found as Paralyze turned the Essence around and whipped him through Killer Queen’s front windshield, cracking the Essence’s helmet! Thankfully for all of us, Paralyze stared at the unconscious Nicodemus and smiled, walking away from this carnage while we cut to commercial break!
After our final commercial break, it was time for the main event! Coming down the ramp first was the united tag team of Mensar and Varsity, two men who seven years ago captured the Tag Team Titles together! Tonight, with Cordanus in their corner, they were looking to drive a wedge in Unity and potentially shore-up their Sudden Death feud! Inside the ring, Mensar and Varsity looked on the same page, each man discussing strategy with Cordanus while the music switched and Euritar emerged from the curtain to a huge roar! The prodigal son made it halfway down the ramp before turning back and looking up to the curtain for his partner! When the GWF Champion stepped out, the fans went ballistic! Avarice was in full decadence tonight, wearing his long cloak and hood and the GWF Title firmly around his waist! Avarice tossed black roses to the crowd, but held onto three, one for each of his opponents here tonight! Midway down the ramp, Avarice unlatched his GWF Title and handed it back to an attending servant before removing his cloak! The Blackthorn draped the cloak in the young man's arms, finally dropping the roses to the ground and stomping them into mulch! With that, Euritar and Avarice exploded up the ramp and into the ring, meeting the Elite Circle with a flurry of punches while Cordanus bailed out to the concrete floor! Inside the ring, Euritar peppered Mensar before ducking a big right hand, catching the Mensan with a kick right under the chin that lifted him through the ropes and out after Cordanus! On the other side of the ring, Varsity nailed Avarice with an elbow to the sternum, slowing the champion! As Varsity hoisted Avarice up for a belly-to-back suplex, Euritar grabbed the five-time former champion by the hair and whipped him down to the mat, saving Avarice from that big suplex! The number one contender rolled out of the ring, joining Mensar and Cordanus on the floor while Euritar and Avarice stood tall in the ring! Slowly, Mensar stepped back onto the apron, the Mensan demanding that the ref get one of the opponents out of the ring! As soon as Euritar turned his back to leave the ring, Mensar blindsided him with an elbow hammer to the back of the head! Avarice rushed to help his partner, but Varsity grabbed his boot and pulled the Blackthorn out of the ring! On the floor, Avarice nailed Varsity with a right hand to the jaw, but before he could press the issue, the ref slid out of the ring and ordered both men to their corners! Inside the ring, Mensar was taking advantage of his cheap shot, nailing Euritar with a hard stomp to the side and an elbow drop right to the lower back! The Mensan pulled Euritar up by the collar, nailing him with a forearm to the jaw and then a whip hard into the corner! As the punk stumbled out, Mensar lifted his shoulder and hoisted the prodigal son high into the air! Mensar quickly made the tag to Varsity who entered the ring, nailing a held Euritar with a right hand deep to the chest! Another right hand dropped the punk down to his knees! Varsity helped him right back up, lifting Euritar up and over with a German suplex! Instead of following up with five more, Varsity made the quick cover, scoring a near three-count on the punk! I think Euritar was bracing for five more suplexes and nearly was counted down after the first one! Varsity yanked Euritar up, nailing him with a European uppercut to the jaw and a teardrop suplex to the mat for another close two-count! The number one contender glared at Avarice as he grabbed Euritar’s right ankle, flipping the punk over and locking on an anklelock in the center of the ring! The fans tried to cheer Euritar back into this one, but the punk was in a bad position! Varsity was really wrenching at that hold, trying to break Euritar’s ankle! With his free leg, Euritar tried to crawl to his corner, but Varsity quickly dragged him back to the center of the ring! Again Euritar tried to crawl, but Varsity pulled him back! How much more could he take? Suddenly, the punk flipped over onto his back, firing his left foot forward and kicking Varsity down to the mat! The punk turned and lunged at his partner, making the hot tag to Avarice! When the Blackthorn entered the ring, Varsity backed up a step, trying to calm down the burning rage of the GWF Champion! Avarice was having none of that! The Blackthorn nailed Varsity with a right hand! A second right hand! A third dropped the Hollywood Star to the mat! As he shot back up, Avarice took him down with a swinging neckbreaker! Mensar stormed the ring, looking for the assist, but Avarice saw him coming and ducked a lariat, answering with a side kick into the ribs! The champion quickly grabbed Mensar’s arm and drove him down to the mat with the Blackthorn Lock! The arena was electric as Avarice wrenched back on the Mensan, howling for him to submit! Outside the ring, Cordanus slid something into the ring to Varsity! What the stars was that? Varsity slipped what was now obviously a pair of brass knuckles onto his hand while Avarice let loose of the King of the Mountain! In the corner, the ref tried to usher Mensar back to the apron while Avarice grabbed what he thought was a groggy Varsity by the hair! Suddenly, Varsity fired up with a right hand to the jaw! Avarice never saw it coming! The Blackthorn dropped to the mat as Varsity tossed the knuckles out to Cordanus! Racing into the corner, Varsity took Euritar off the apron, knocking him to the floor before turning back to Avarice and hooking the far leg! The ref turned to see the cover, counting the now academic three! Outside the ring, Euritar slowly came to his senses, rubbing his neck while Varsity, Mensar, and Cordanus celebrated their victory up the ramp! Will we see this scene repeat itself in ten days at GWF Paradise Lost? Don’t you dare miss that PPV, sheep! We’ll see next week who makes the grade!

Class is back in session! Brainstorm here with the report card for GWF Assault 11-20! We’re just three days away from the final year-end GWF Assault exclusive blowout, GWF Paradise Lost! The commissioner had one last trick up his sleeve for an already star-studded lineup and he was going to play it tonight! Or was he? Also on tap tonight, the commissioner had signed four big matches, including Omni’s singles warm-up and a big six-man tag team main event! Let’s see who makes the grade!
The night opened with the WoD already in the ring! Omni was going to have his work cut out for him if he expected to eclipse Rankor’s showing last week! Making his way down the ramp alone, the GWF Tag Team Champion came out to a solid ovation! The Ravager slid into the ring, hoisting h is title belt up to another pop! As the ref called for the bell, both Flatliner and Holocaust rushed toward the light Ravager! Showing his incredible speed, Omni ducked low, slipping under clotheslines from both men! The champion turned around, leaping back with a bicycle kick to Flatliner’s skull! It didn’t seem to have any effect! Holocaust quickly grabbed the Ravager from behind, applying a reverse bearhug and squeezing the champion in his vice grip! Flatliner went to join the action, but the official cut him off, ordering the undead weapon out of the ring! As Flatliner protested, Holocaust joined his partner, shoving the ref forward! The official turned around and stuck a finger right in Holocaust’s face! He wasn’t going to take anything from either of these two weapons! Holocaust reared back his massive fist, preparing to deliver a Missile Shot to the official! Suddenly, Omni leapt up onto the second rope, flying forward with a big kick to the side of Holocaust’s head! The fans went wild as Omni ducked a Flatliner lariat, hoisting the weapon up and over the top rope to the concrete floor! Holocaust grabbed Omni by the neck, but the champion managed to slip free, catching the Eridean with another kick, this time to the left knee! Holocaust tried to turn with Omni, but the champion was gone again, nailing Holocaust’s right knee! Again Omni whipped around, ducking a lariat and kicking the inside of the Eridean’s left knee! Omni fell to the mat, dropping down and double kicking the inside of Holocaust’s right knee, finally toppling the weapon down to the mat! On the apron, Flatliner pulled himself up to his feet only to have Omni race forward and unload with a spinning kick to the side of the skull! The fans were absolutely ballistic as Omni ducked under an approaching Holocaust, sending the Eridean crashing into his own partner! Flatliner toppled to the floor again while Holocaust stumbled back—right into a falling reverse legsweep slam! The champion quickly rolled over the Eridean, hooking his far leg and holding Holocaust down for the three-count!
After the match, Omni backpedaled up the ramp, clutching his GWF Tag Team Title to his chest! Suddenly, the fans sprang to life, booing venomously! Making his way down the ramp was the other half of this tag team equation—Rankor! The Ravager traitor stood behind Omni, waiting for the light Ravager to turn around and spot his opponent for this Sunday’s first ever singles match for the GWF Tag Team Titles! The two Ravagers exchanged confident glances, neither man giving up an inch here tonight! Finally, Rankor patted Omni’s title and smiled before turning and walking back up the ramp! What was that all about?
Backstage, Commissioner Vanity was making his way to his office for what he promised would be a huge announcement on the other side of the commercial break when he was interrupted by the Essence, Nicodemus! The Essence told Commissioner Vanity he was making a big mistake putting Nicodemus in a match with Paralyze here tonight! Nicodemus could care less about Paralyze! He was in a Sudden Death feud with Ventross! What if the unthinkable happens and that Aetheran savage injures Nicodemus? It would cripple the Have-Not army! Vanity told Nicodemus he should have thought about that before he laid Paralyze out two weeks ago! Nicodemus again started to protest, but the commissioner cut him off quickly! It all comes down to this, the commissioner stated! Paralyze wanted the match because he was pissed off at Nicodemus! If Commissioner Vanity canceled it, the Aetheran would be mad at the commissioner! Vanity lowered his glasses and smirked! He didn’t get this far in life pissing off Aetherans! The match was on, the commissioner said as he continued to his office and we cut to commercial break!
Back from break, the commissioner had reached his office and so had we! Commissioner Vanity stated that this Sunday, there is one match slot left to fill! And who better to fill that slot than a Mensa native, the King of the Mountain himself, Mensar! This however would be no normal match at GWF Paradise Lost! In fact, it wouldn’t even be a Sudden Death match! This Sunday, live from the Staslar Theater, Mensar would himself take on a king! It would be the King of the Mountain, live from his home planet, taking on the King of the GWF, GWF legend, Exo-King! The fans in attendance went wild hearing that an original GWF superstar was going to step back into the ring for one night only! The man who stood beside Thantos and Killer Queen in the early days was going to be back in the ring! The father of Jack of Diamonds! Folks, there’s a lot of history going into that match! Come to think of it, how much history is there? How old is Exo-King? Sixty? Has Commissioner Vanity lost his mind?
Back in the ring, Sycophant was out alone tonight, stretching out the ropes with some pretty provocative poses! I’m told that on some planets, Sycophant’s matches are replaced with archive matches due to public outcry! I hate censorship! Stupid BEEP idiots! The deviant had better have stretched out really well tonight though because his opponent wasn’t here for play! He was the final tune-up for Cyclopes heading into his Escape Cage match this Sunday against Darkseed! When the one-eyed monster burst through the curtains, the fans stared on in awed silence! You have to see this beast in person to truly appreciate how big and intimidating he is, sheep! Stepping into the ring, Cyclopes glared at Sycophant who actually licked his lips! I think he was looking forward to this! The ref called for the bell and just like the last time these two men locked up, Sycophant begged Cyclopes to hit him! This freak really does love punishment! Cyclopes wasn’t in the mood for games! He clutched the deviant by the throat with both hands and jerked him violently up into the air! With both eyes bulging, Sycophant looked like he was ready to pop! The one-eyed monster flung the deviant down to the mat with his Two-handed Chokeslam! Cyclopes quickly hit the side ropes, building up steam for a big splash onto the already unconscious Sycophant! Three seconds later and this one was in the books! Now that is the definition of a squash!
Suddenly, the lights dimmed and familiar music blared! Darkseed’s voice rang out that this Sunday, Cyclopes was in real trouble! In fact, Darkseed was tired of playing cat and mouse! He wasn’t waiting until this Sunday! He was going to take him out tonight! Cyclopes stared up at the entrance, wringing his hands in anticipation! From behind, Darkseed blasted the one-eyed monster with a metal mace! The lights came back on to full intensity as Darkseed hammered Cyclopes again with the mace, dropping the one-eyed monster face first to the mat! The Dominion Beast roared as he stood over the downed Cyclopes, hoisting his mace high into the air as a show of defiance! Had Darkseed really been playing Cyclopes for a fool all this time to get him inside a steel cage, or did the Dominion Beast just make the biggest mistake of his career? We’ll find out this Sunday, I guess! One of these two men, I don’t like their chances of leaving that match of their own accord!
After a commercial break, it was time for another installment of Hegemony’s Insights! Tonight, the genius was welcoming the venomous beast Rubicon to his intelligence couch! As Rubicon entered the room, he snarled loudly, ignoring Hegemony’s welcome! The genius slowly took a seat, staring up at Rubicon who still hadn’t sat down! Hegemony told Rubicon that this Sunday, he was facing one of the most unorthodox challenges of his career! The venomous beast’s record against the GWF’s top big men was unparallel, but this Sunday, he’s fighting the enigma that is Dante! During Hegemony’s stay on GWF Warfare, Dante was one of the most respected men in the entire locker room, fighting just about everyone who ever walked through the doors! Rubicon’s eyes widened! Hegemony slowly asked the beast how he was going to use Dante’s own match against him? Out of nowhere, Rubicon lunged forward, locking Hegemony in No Return! The genius tried to fight out, but the beast hoisted him into the air, driving Hegemony back into a wall! The beast was choking Hegemony out and nobody was doing a thing to help him! With an annoyed grunt, Rubicon tossed the genius aside, flinging him through the wooden coffee table in the center of the ring! As the camera focused on the venomous beast’s face, Rubicon growled that he hated Dante and he hated Warfare! Hey, I hate Warfare too, but don’t blame Hegemony! He’s the only good thing to ever come from Friday nights! Mark my words, this Sunday, Dante’s in a whole world of trouble!
After another break, we were right back in the ring for a big match here tonight on GWF Assault! That’s right, Commissioner Vanity wasn’t like some other promoters! He didn’t just save the big matches for Sundays, Commissioner Vanity delivered every night! Coming down the ramp first to a huge ovation was the Aetheran warhammer Paralyze! The former GWF Champion looked in tremendous shape tonight, towering over the fans as he made his way into the squared circle! Chomping at the bit, Paralyze paced the ring while the music changed and Nicodemus stepped through the curtain, Assassin X by his side! The Essence had a mic in his had as he walked to the ring! We don’t have to do this, Nicodemus offered! Just step out of the ring and forfeit, the Essence added! If Paralyze would do that, Nicodemus would ensure him a place in his new world order! The Aetheran laughed! Nicodemus shook his head! He tried to be a gentleman, but Paralyze wouldn't let him! With that, the Essence dropped his mic and ordered Assassin X into the ring! The masked man raced into the squared circle, sliding toward Paralyze and grabbing him around the waist! The Aetheran responded with a clubbing blow to the back and then a knee to the chest, but the masked man wouldn’t let loose! Paralyze tried to break free, the ref even joined in the attempt, but Assassin X was holding on for dear life! From behind, Nicodemus entered the ring, blindsiding the Aetheran with a forearm to the back of the head! The Essence unloaded with a devastating heart punch, dropping Paralyze to a knee while Assassin X slid out of the ring! The ref reluctantly called for the bell and this match was underway! I guess since Assassin X never technically hit Paralyze, this match was still going to continue! The Essence pulled Paralyze up by the hair, jamming his elbow to the side of the former champion’s head before whipping him hard into the corner! Following close behind, Nicodemus collided with the Aetheran warhammer, unloading with a vicious lariat! As Paralyze stumbled forward, Nicodemus hoisted him up and drove the former champion to the mat with a spinebuster for two! Pulling Paralyze up by the hair again, Nicodemus roared that he was going to finish this one right here and now! The Essence pulled Paralyze into position, looking to lift him up for that Nuclear Winter driver of his! The Aetheran started to fight back, shoving Nicodemus back a step! As the Essence shot forward, Paralyze caught him with a fist to the chest! A second fist rocked the Essence’s helmet! Nicodemus stumbled to the side—right into a Decapitator clothesline! The Aetheran warhammer quickly pulled Nicodemus up, tossing him back into the corner for a series of boxing blows to the body! Now it was Nicodemus on Dream Street! The Aetheran warhammer let Nicodemus wobble out, unloading with an Atomic Spike right to the top of the head! Is he trying to kill us? Outside the ring, Assassin X had seen enough! The masked assassin slid into the ring, blindsiding Paralyze with a forearm to the back! The Aetheran didn’t even budge! Paralyze slowly turned, staring into the masked man’s eyes! The assassin tried to follow with a twin thrust strike, but Paralyze clutched him by the throat, roaring as he hoisted the masked man up and drove him to the mat with a vicious chokeslam! Nicodemus seized the opportunity, nailing Paralyze with a blatant lowblow and drawing the disqualification from the official! I guess he had had all he could take! The Essence started to pull Paralyze up for Nuclear Winter once again, but Paralyze shocked us all, hoisting Nicodemus over with a big back body drop! As the Essence staggered to his feet, Paralyze shot forward, unloading with another Decapitator clothesline! The former champion was going wild as he hoisted Nicodemus up, lifting him into the air and then tossing the Essence back into the corner with his Brutal Infliction powerbomb! The fans were going crazy while Paralyze stood over the downed bodies of both Assassin X and Nicodemus! Not only did he win this battle, but by the looks of it, Paralyze had won the war here tonight!
Backstage, Euritar was walking with the Italian stallion, Dante! The punk told Dante that he’d crossed paths with Rubicon a number of times and it was never a fun occasion! What Dante had to do is stay away from the venomous beast! The Italian shook his head! He wasn’t going to stay away from Rubicon! He was going to go right at him! He was going to whip the hide off that beast! Euritar told Dante he was making a mistake! Rubicon wasn’t the type of guy you went right at! Dante looked at Euritar and told him that they were amigos, capice, but no one was going to tell Dante what to do! He was his own man and he’d been dreaming of making it big since he was just a little piaison! Now, he was all grown up! And this Sunday, whether he wins or he loses, that Mostro, he’s-a going down! Euritar shook his head! Youth is wasted on the young, he said as Dante walked away and we cut to commercial break!
After the break, we were back in the ring for our main event! Already lumbering into the ring was the three-man team of Noxious, Rotwurm, and Dreadnaught! Dreadnaught seemed to be leading this charge, but truth be told, I’m not sure anyone was truly directing this group! Without Murdok, Murdok’s World has lost what I thought was once an insurmountable lead and with a loss here tonight, would be trailing in their Sudden Death feud! When the music shifted and their opponents stepped through the curtain to Zed Marlowe’s music, the fans came to life—unlike the zombies in the ring! Get it? Ha! That’s comic gold! Zed led Warfare and Tekaro down the ramp, looking less like the duck-boy and more like a true leader! Was Aegis actually right about this guy? Is Zed Marlowe actually a rising star in this business? Stepping into the ring, Zed pointed his finger at the Zombies as if to say, we’re taking it to you! That was all it took for the zombies to shoot forward and we had an old fashioned pier 6 brawl! The two teams were slugging away at each other while the ref stood helplessly in a corner, refusing to interrupt this melee! Rotwurm and Tekaro were the first to bail out, with Zed Marlowe and Noxious quickly joining them outside the ring! Inside the squared circle, Warfare hammered Dreadnaught with a swinging mallet punch to the ribs! The juggernaut gripped Dreadnaught by the face and flung him hard to the canvas, drawing a small pop from the crowd! Warfare quickly yanked Dreadnaught off the mat, looking for a German suplex, but instead catching a back elbow to the jaw! Dreadnaught turned, raking the juggernaut’s eyes before biting away at Warfare’s nose! The ref admonished Dreadnaught, but did he really think it would do any good? Noxious illegally entered the ring, slashing the juggernaut’s chest while the ref threw up his arms in disgust! What was he really going to do? The two zombies began clawing away at Warfare, drawing loud boos from this capacity crowd! Rushing into the ring, Rotwurm joined the attack and thanks to Tekaro, we once again at another pier 6 brawl on our hands! I’ve told you before, six-man tag matches just don’t work! There’s too much chaos! Inside the ring, Warfare roared to life, leveling both Rotwurm and Noxious while Dreadnaught caught Tekaro with a Guided Missile shot right under the chin! The juggernaut rushed to help his partner, but Dreadnaught cut him off with a super punch howitzer right to the chin! The big juggernaut wobbled a step before falling back into his corner and tagging Zed Marlowe! If that isn’t the real Dreadnaught, he certainly packs one Brymstone of a punch! Hopping over the top rope, Zed ducked a slash from Dreadnaught, answering with a side kick to the ribs! A second slash found nothing but air! Noxious lunged forward, catching a knee right to the chin and then an ole toss through the ropes! With a boot to the back, Dreadnaught knocked the prince forward into Rotwurm! Unfortunately for the zombie, Zed capitalized, flipping forward and driving Rotwurm down with a reverse snapmare drop! The prince quickly rolled over, letting Dreadnaught crash down on top of his own partner with a knee to the chest! Zed raced into the near ropes, building up momentum before unloading with a vicious kick right to Dreadnaught’s jaw! Hooking the far leg, Zed scored the surprising three-count! Even more surprising, the ref actually counted the two legal men in this short and chaotic match! The ROC left the ring to a loud roar from the crowd while the zombies mulled around, drooling for a chance to lock up again with Zed and crew!
After our final commercial break, Varsity stood in the center of the ring with his letterman’s jacket! The Holly wood Star said that this Sunday, you idiot fans are in for a treat! For the first time in over twenty years, a superstar is vying for their sixth championship title! Not since Chaos won number six has anyone ever even attempted to climb the mountain a sixth time! Pegasus retired before he could do it, but not Varsity! The Hollywood Star’s not going anywhere! He feels great! But unlike Chaos who took try after try to reach the gold ring, Varsity won’t blow it this Sunday! This Sunday, the Hollywood Star guaranteed that he would defeat Avarice—the fans sprang to life! Making his way down the ramp was the Blackthorn himself, the GWF Champion Avarice! The Blackthorn told Varsity that he wasn’t used to this, but if he understood protocol, Varsity as the number one contender was supposed to come out here the show before the big PPV and talk about how great he is and how he’s going to win the title this Sunday! Then, Avarice, the champion, is supposed to get all riled up and come down the aisle telling Varsity why he’s not going to win! Sometimes there’s even a contract signing, but everyone knows it’s just an excuse to get a little preview fight! As the first time champion, was Avarice right, the Blackthorn asked! Before Varsity could answer, the champion said screw it! He didn’t feel like talking! With that, Avarice tossed down his mic and raced into the ring! The two men exchanged fevered punches as we ran out of time! We’ll see this Sunday who makes the grade! What a fight!
