Wow, Dante losing to Matinee Idol was quite the upset. Too bad his little crush, Latasha, couldn't do the same.. though I always enjoy reading about Idol or Latasha getting beaten down despite their diva attitudes for some reason..

Yeah, Dante losing to Idol and Euritar losing to Brainstorm both shocked me -- but I was also kind of happy about it because I want the feud to extend a bit. At first glance, I thought Dante and Euritar would wipe the mat with Idol especially, and Brainstorm.
Idol and Latasha are great classic villains -- whiney little starlets you loathe but want to see in action in hopes they get their smugness wiped off their faces. I love using them.

POW SunFire The Soul of Sol Tour: Stop One -- Io Arena
-- A raucous Io crowd sounded off as President Prodigy strode out to kick off the show. -- He announced that an 8-Man Tag-Team Tournament would begin at POW Resurgence, the upcoming pay-per-view. Furthermore, that PPV would take place at the venerable EarthDome! -- The following six teams will be automatically entered into the tournament: King's Men; Good Ol Boys; The Punks; Darwin's Legacy; SkyFire; Silent Violence. -- Four teams will face tonight, with the two winners taking up the final two spots in the tournament! Those teams have been determined and will be revealed when their matches start.
Ahnu -vs- Silas -- This one got the crowd going. Silas swaggered down, swilling his now-famous "Silasweisers", high-fiving Io fans and letting out hollers. -- Silas completely dominated this one, pummeling Ahnu....but then incredibly lost his momentum and Ahnu made an amazing comeback! Winner: Ahnu by COUNTERINSURGENCY
Crucible -vs- Indigo -- Former CPC Champ Indigo came out to a good pop, while the creepy Crucible drew boos. Crucible has been very low key for some time, but the old controversies came back when, inexplicably, Indigo went from dominating this match to abruptly losing his focus and just seeming "off". -- Crucible capitalized and put this one away. Winner: Crucible by THE SINGULARITY
Zed Marlowe -vs- Thayne -- This one was short but predictably very good. Marlowe wickedly smashed Thayne into the ringside floor during an outside the ring brawl, then left him out there for a countout. Winner: Marlowe by countout
-- Absalom & Raze came out, the first team of the four vying for tournament entry! Both looked intense and eager to prove themselves.... -- But to a tremendous pop, Euritar and Dante came out. Dynamo stopped them at the ramp and Euritar quickly said, " Sorry to spoil a surprise, but Idol and Brainstorm are in the next match, and when we found that out, we decided to throw our hats in and rain on their parade. Those pretty boys want the gold, they will have to get through us....if they make it past tonight."
Absalom & Raze -vs- Dante & Euritar -- The always-competitive Absalom looked poised to pull off a quick stunner, but Euritar got this one turned around. He and Dante put away Raze for the big win Winners: Dante & Euritar by HELL
-- Brainstorm & Matinee Idol swaggered out next, and the crowd let them hear it. Idol was carrying some sort of golden award, while Brainstorm regarded the crowd with a look of supreme disgust. -- When they got to the ring, Mad Jester leapt onto the ring ramp to a big cheer. He immediately began immediately Idol's cocky movie star gait, then gestured back to the curtains....and out came Killer Queen!! The crowd went even more crazy at the prospect of a team harkening back to the Royal Court days.
Brainstorm & Idol -vs- Mad Jester & Killer Queen -- This was the match of the night. Killer Queen struggled a bit in the beginning, easily outclassed by Brainstorm, but once Mad Jester got involved, this thing tightened up. Jester easily held his own against Idol and Brainstorm in a great, great battle. -- With Queen tired, Jester had to carry the match....and the 2-on-1 odds wore on him. Idol began besting him, to the point of having him nearly out. -- Suddenly, Euritar and Dante ran down. Euritar leapt onto the apron, jawing with both Brainstorm and the referee....and Dante grabbed the golden award from ringside, got into the ring, and smashed it over Idol's head! He kicked away the debris, rolled Jester on top, and left. The referee turned around...1...2....3!!! Winners: Mad Jester and Killer Queen by gang interference
-- The crowd was absolutely on fire, and Euritar and Dante rose their hands high, having truly gotten revenge on their arrogant enemies. Mad Jester made things worse by parading around Idol's fallen form. Killer Queen high-fived Dante then joined his strange partner.
MAIN EVENT Heavyweight Wrestling Champion Mensar -vs- Scion Nexus (Non-Title) -- The fans really got behind "local" star Scion Nexus. Sadly, Mensar made this main event a laugher. He destroyed Scion Nexus fair and square.....but to add insult to injury, Cordanus managed to get him a foreign object that he used for the pinfall. -- With Nexus busted open, Mensar enraged the crowd with his completely unnecessary dirty play. He stood over Nexus, raising the title up high. Winner: Mensar by foreign object
-- President Prodigy came out and announced that the next card would be on Titan, and would determine the #1 contender to Dante's Cruiserweight Title.

POW SolarFlare The Soul of Sol Tour: Stop Two -- Titan Stadium
-- Euritar and Dante were seen entering the building. Dynamo stopped them and asked why they were there. -- Euritar said, " I hear Brainstorm is going to be involved in the mini-tourney for Dante's next challenger. Naturally, we came to check things out." -- Dynamo asked, " So what's the deal -- you guys enter the tag-team tournament, you seem more focused on Idol and Storm now than Mensar...." -- Euritar cut in, " Mensar....will be dealt with. But Brainstorm and Matinee Idol wanted to mess with us, and they got the first couple laughs. Well, we could focus on Mensar and have those pesky gnats constantly in our faces....OR....we can destroy their will and make their lives miserable until they beg us to leave them alone. That's why we're here, and why we stopped them in the tournament."
Serpentine -vs- Morgana -- Morgana started off in control, but kept making mistakes, complete with two disastrous deathjump miscues. Serpentine is much too experienced to pass up such opportunities. Winner: Serpentine by CONSTRICTOR
-- Zed Marlowe came out, as one of the four men vying to become the #1 contender to the Cruiserweight Title. His opponent turned out to be....
Zed Marlowe -vs- Brainstorm -- The crowd let the "superior one" hear it as he strode down. Marlowe is the reigning #1 contender, but this one seemed destined from the bell to be Brainstorm's. He dominated thoroughly.... -- But a crowd pop signified Euritar and Dante rushing down, just as 'Storm used his finisher. Euritar grabbed a chair and smashed Brainstorm over the head! Dante held him and another chair shot followed! Then a third! -- Brainstorm crashed to the mat, nearly unconscious and bloodied. The good news for him is that he advances to the main event tonight....the bad news is that he's badly injured (6 fight cards)! Winner: Brainstorm by disqualification
T.K. -vs- Ahnu -- The second match of the mini-tourney....the winner gets a huge advantage by facing pummelled Brainstorm tonight for the cruiserweight #1! -- Ahnu is on a hot streak. He destroyed T.K. in a squash. Winner: Ahnu by COUNTERINSURGENCY
-- Dynamo stopped Commissioner Jack Hood backstage. The commissioner stated that he would review what happened with Brainstorm and make a decision tonight about any punishment for Dante and Euritar.
Hanuman -vs- Hadrian -- This turned out to be a very good match. At one point, Dr. Barnabas seemed to work his magic, when Hadrian went absolutely crazy and rampaged to a near victory. Hanuman weathered for a big comeback! Winner: Hanuman by choke in ropes
Gunnar -vs- Mike Fortune -- Match of the (early) Year Candidate. These are two arguable 'villains', yet their match was so good that the crowd got way into this one. Back and forth it went, as the two foes pummeled each other. -- Fortune toughed out a huge victory. Afterwards, both weary men appeared poised to continue battling, but President Prodigy stepped out and told them they'd better stop, because they are going to carry this feud into POW Resurgence....in a special match type to be determined. Winner: Mike Fortune by single arm DDT
MAIN EVENT for #1 Cruiserweight Wrestling Contention Brainstorm -vs- Ahnu -- Security beefed up at ringside, no doubt to ward off Euritar and Dante. -- It was no matter. Brainstorm was bandaged and woozy, and Ahnu wasted no time winning big and getting his shot at Dante's title. Winner and new #1 cruiserweight contender: Ahnu by COUNTERINSURGENCY
-- It was announced that Commissioner Hood was going to fine Euritar and Dante heavily for their attack on Brainstorm. The crowd started booing....then President Prodigy came out. -- Prodigy held out a hand. " I support the commissioner's fine, but I am going to be adding something to the punishment. Fine, Euritar and Dante, you have a beef with Idol and Brainstorm -- but I'm not going to stand for these constant attacks. I'm not going to suspend you and mess up a great PPV.....but I am going to banish you from the tag-team tournament. We'll hold another qualifying match on the next card, but consider your tag-team title aspirations dead!"
POW Eclipse The Soul of Sol Tour: Stop Three -- Triton Center
-- President Prodigy came out and announced that a 12-Man Battle Royale would take place tonight. The final two would wrestle in the main event, the winner becoming Mensar's next challenger to the Heavyweight Wrestling Championship! -- He added that, to replace Euritar and Dante in the final spot of the Tag-Team Championship Tournament at POW Resurgence, Scion Nexus & Zed Marlowe would be teaming up against J.J. Smooth & Gila....winners get the 8th spot. The crowd booed this announcement, no doubt in part because of the decision about Euritar and Dante, and in part because of the uninspiring two teams vying for the position. -- Making the crowd more unhappy, Prodigy added finally that Euritar is barred from the Battle Royale tonight -- the final punishment for his attacks on Brainstorm and Matinee Idol.
-- Gunnar was eliminated 1st by Thayne -- Thayne was eliminated 2nd by Mike Fortune -- Excalibur was eliminated 3rd by Mike Fortune -- Pendekar was eliminated 4th by Indigo -- Indigo was eliminated 5th by T.K. -- Saboteur was eliminated 6th by Absalom -- Absalom was eliminated 7th by Mike Fortune -- Hanuman was eliminated 8th by Mike Fortune -- Mike Fortune was eliminated 9th by Raze -- Rubicon was eliminated 10th by Raze -- Raze and T.K. survive and will face later for Heavyweight Wrestling #1 Contention!
-- Prodigy was seen being stopped by Matinee Idol and a bandaged Brainstorm backstage. Idol snapped, " You can't be serious! Gila and J.J. Smooth?!? That tag-team qualifier match is a joke!" -- Prodigy frowned, " It was the best I could...." -- Brainstorm cut in, " You saw what Euritar and Dante did to us, and you punished them. Now make it right. You know Matinee Idol and I make a far better team in your tournament than Senile Nexus & Dead Marlowe....or certainly the lizard and the fat guy. C'mon. Make things right!" -- The president pondered for a moment. " I'll think about it."
Jack of Diamonds -vs- Crucible -- The strange Crucible again brought controversy when Jack lost his focus severely in this match. However, amazingly, Jack withstood a vicious offensive front from Crucible and came back for a win! Winner: Jack of Diamonds by BLACK DIAMOND
Euritar -vs- Gordo -- Euritar was not a happy camper. He bore a constant scowl tonight, and he took out his frustrations on Gordo. Winner: Euritar by MERCILESS
Scion Nexus & Zed Marlowe -vs- J.J. Smooth & Gila -- President Prodigy came out and announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, Matinee Idol and Brainstorm would have earned a spot in the Tag-Team Tournament had it not been for the interference by Dante and Euritar. With apologies to the four men slated for the next match, it is my decision to give the 8th spot in the tournament to Idol and Brainstorm." -- The crowd booed loudly. " Brainstorm is still suffering injuries from Euritar's attack at Titan. Nonetheless, he vows to be ready to go when the tournament takes place next week at POW Resurgence." Winner: NO MATCH
MAIN EVENT for the Heavyweight Wrestling #1 Contention Raze -vs- T.K. -- Raze got a big pop, no surprise given that Raze himself was a popular and unexpected 2-time Heavyweight Champion two years ago. Here he was getting another shot. -- Raze took control early, but had to fend off interferences by T.K.'s meddlesome manager Talisman. -- Nonetheless, it was Raze who kept it together for the huge win. He'll take on Mensar at POW Resurgence -- can Raze make it to -three- heavyweight championships? Winner: Raze by AWAKENING
-- Euritar was seen backstage storming into President Prodigy's office. " So we're back at it again, are we?" the former champ snapped. -- Prodigy tossed down a pen and hissed, " What are you talking about? Look -- I'm a busy man...." -- "Don't play games with me. You had it out for me most of last year. Now, because of a couple attacks on two guys who cost me the title because of THEIR interference, you're trying to make my life hell again." -- Prodigy laughed. " You're paranoid. I'm just doing my job. And I don't appreciate your and Dante's thug tactics." -- " Great. So you'll turn a blind eye to Mensar and his little stooges, but you've got the microscope on me and Dante. Maybe you should keep your head in your books and paperwork and let Hood start running things. He seems to have a much better grip on...." -- Prodigy slammed a fist down. " Get out. Say another word and you'll be suspended. I'm a busy man -- get out!"

I like this whole Euritar/Dante/Brainstorm/Idol thing going. I'm just starting to get these occasional tag partners together in my fed, and I'm liking the chemistry. Seems like it's really clicking here, too!
POW Sunset The Soul of Sol Tour: Stop Four-- Lunar Base Alpha
-- Marking his first appearance during the Soul of Sol tour, Commissioner Jack Hood came out to a mixed reaction. He announced a great main event tonight, that being the cruiserweight and heavyweight MMA champs (Stigma and Cypher, respectively) taking on their #1 contenders (Thayne and Shylock) in a tag affair. -- He added that he would be wrestling tonight too, taking on Indigo
Matinee Idol -vs- Killer Queen -- Polter, as per usual, strode out smug as can be, preening for the cameras -- especially Franco's camera. -- The crowd went nuts for GWF/CPC/POW legend Killer Queen! And they would be in for a treat, because Queen looked sharp tonight....and this turned out to be a great match. -- Idol got cocky after nailing his finishing fist drop, but that changed when Queen kicked out, turned things around, and repeatedly locked in CHECKMATE until Idol tapped out! Winner: Killer Queen by CHECKMATE
-- Idol and Franco were livid after the match, berating the referee and trying to convince him that Idol's left leg was in fact under the ropes (which it wasn't). No avail -- Queen scores the win!
Jack Hood -vs- Indigo -- Hood has looked decent in his limited action, but came into this one without a win....and it looked like that would change as he had the former Heavyweight Champion hurt badly. -- Incredibly, Indigo made a big comeback for the win. Winner: Indigo by BLUE STREAK
Absalom -vs- Hanuman -- These two have quietly been solid in their POW careers. This match was yet another excellent one. The travelers to Lunar Base Alpha seemed to be getting into each match more and more. -- Hanuman pulled off the big win, then got into the camera and yelled, " My time is coming! Cypher....Mensar....it doesn't matter if it's MMA or wrestling, I'm taking over the heavyweight divisions! Be on notice!" Winner: Hanuman by CORNERED
Excalibur -vs- Gunnar -- This one appeared destined for a squash, with Gunnar destroying Excalibur. That is, until Mike Fortune ran down and clobbered Gunnar over the head with his hitman gun. Despite Fortune being in his home system, the crowd booed him considerably. -- Fortune kicked the already-downed Excalibur for good measure, then swaggered off. Winner: Gunnar by disqualification
MAIN EVENT Thayne & Shylock -vs- Cypher & Stigma -- Neither tandem bore any particular love for each other, making for a match that wasn't a portrait of tag-team excellence, but still was a good performance. Stigma in particular looked strong, thumping Thayne and then even dominating Shylock. -- Cypher and Shylock locked for awhile, and when Shylock defeated the MMA heavyweight champ decisively in the center of the ring, there was a buzz in the crowd. Cypher's seemingly unstoppable streak hits a bump in the road! Winner: Shylock & Thayne by FALLOUT
-- Commissioner Hood added after the show that it was determined that Mike Fortune and Gunnar's match at POW Resurgence would be a Circinus Cell Match.
